I received an emailed report from a witness in Clermont, Georgia, who stated that he and his wife watched an orange light in the sky as it traveled West to East.
Here is that report:
Location: Clermont, Georgia, U.S.A.
Date/Time: 03/31/2013, 9:00 pm (21:00)
Object description: Orange light in sky
Hi Sunny.
In response to your post that I read today, just wanted to let you know that my wife and I were outside Sunday night, 3/31/2013 and saw a bright, non-flashing orange light in the night sky around 9 pm. The "object" did not appear to be a normal aircraft as it did not have flashing beacon lights (red or green) nor a bright white landing light. We live in Clermont, GA near the mountains. The light was moving generally in a west-to-east path while visible and in a straight horizontal line. No sound was heard and could not determine the size or distance, but was awesome to see as the intensity of the light was constant and was like nothing we've ever seen. I thought it may have been the International Space Station, but when I checked it's location, it was nearing the western coast of Australia.
No clue what it was - did you ever see again or come across any info as to what it may be?
[Name withheld by SW/LITS]
Investigator's Note: The witness is correct that the object was not the International Space Station, nor do I believe it was a conventional aircraft, satellite, or meteor.
It is also highly unlikely that it was swamp gas, a weather balloon, plastic bag, Chinese lantern, or Venus. So what does that leave?
As I told the witness that could be either a 'drone', or possibly an extraterrestrial object/craft. I'll add here that perhaps it could even have been some new black-ops technology.
The object remains unidentified. -Sunny
