A Hum And Strange Occurrences In Kansas City

I received this report from a witness today.  He reports a humming sound and strange happenings in Kansas City, Kansas.

"Hey so my friend and I have both heard the hum in the Kansas city Kansas area and it also included strange lights. This has also occurred only once thus far. Here is my friends story- I was about to go to sleep when I noticed a monotonous noise coming from outside and then later there were police sirens that were repeatedly crossing the road. There were also these strange flashing lights and a military cargo bob earlier that day.

And here's mine-

I was in my bed, at 2:00 in the morning. I'm laying in bed trying to go to sleep because I was on my laptop and it ran out of battery. And at exactly 2:14 AM, a hum starts. It would last for half a second, then pause for a quarter of a second. It repeated, and got faster and faster. After a little while, it would start over. Full of fear, I decided to get out of bed and look out the window. I see nothing, besides what should be out there. Until I look up. I see two stars in the sky. One actually is a star, and the other looks like one. Except for the flashing blue, red, and green lights. I grab my glasses, to get a clearer look, and I was not wrong. I climb back into my bed, and hope that this is a dream, but it feels too real. My cat wakes up and starts acting REALLY weird. She kept trying to get under my arm, as if I could protect her. After about a minute, the scariest thing in my life happened. A bright blue light shines from outside. I was only able to see it due to the window
on the front of my house and my bedroom door being left open. I sit in bed, petrified in fear, until I gain the courage to check it out. I grab my crossbow from my drawer and I walk through the second floor. I don't enter any of the rooms, because I was too scared to. I put my crossbow down, in a different part of my room, and get into bed. After about fifteen minutes, I hear footsteps. They go into the bathroom and I hear it lift up the seat on the toilet. After that, I hear it pee into it. It's sound really messed up, but it's true. I don't know what to do. I never hear the footsteps leave the bathroom. Throughout all this time, I hear the Hum. After that, I fall asleep. When I wake up, I check to see where the crossbow is. It is where I left it after I checked the second floor. I then checked the toilet. There is urine.  I tell my friends, but none believe me, except for one.


Please, if you can help me, do it. Me and my friend are both scared. If you need to get this story out, do it. Just do whatever you can to stop the Hum. It needs to be recognized by the world. Thank you."

Is it possible that the underground "SubTropolis" could be the source of the hum that is being heard?  But what about the lights and someone, or something entering this person's home?

Rectangle over Eureka, CA

Note:  I received this today, under comments for the post listed at the end of this report.

A few nights ago, on Sept. 3, 2015, my wife and I saw an object that looks almost identical to the picture above, fly directly over our house in Eureka, CA. It was low, maybe 500 ft, and flew very slowly. It made a very loud, deep rumbling noise, sort of like a jet, but without the high pitched whine that I associate with most jets I've heard before. It was rectangular like a cell phone, but the corners were cut off and had small round orange lights where the corners would've been, and one big red flashing light in the middle. I ran in and grabbed my binoculars and got a pretty good look at it. It seemed to be a light colored grey, and had curved lines that ran front to back from the front orange lights to the rear ones on each side. It flew with the long sides of the rectangle oriented as it's leading and rear edges, and the shorter sides as the left and right sides of the object...basically, it was longer side to side than it was from front to back. We watched it slowly fly in a straight line for about two and a half minutes, until it was too far away to see over the roof of our neighbors house across the street. It was really unbelievable. Nobody else in the area has reported seeing this thing except us, which is really amazing as it was so loud that it shook our house slightly, Initially, I thought it was an extremely low flying jet, which is why I went outside in the first place.

I received an email from a witness (near Gilmer, Texas), who has been noticing some unusual activities in the night sky, including strange trumpeting and booming sounds.
Here is that report.  There will be updates.

We live in East Texas, close to a small town called Gilmer. Starting late 2011 we started seeing a flashing light in the sky. It comes from all around you in the sky. It is diffuse, you can’t see it straight on. It seems to come from your peripheral vision. Sort of like a flash blub going off behind you. You do not see where it comes from. When they first started they were faint and at first we wondered if we were really seeing them. Then they stopped for a while. When they restarted they were a bit stronger and have become stronger over the course of the last several months.

The next things we noticed is the traffic noise with the trumpets. We started hearing it on and off in early 2012 and asked a few neighbors about it. The neighbors have not heard it and said it was probably from the highway 3 miles down the road. We live in the country and the highway they are talking about is a two lane non busy country road. This road is never as busy as it would have to be for us to hear this kind of noise and the trumpeting sounds would have to be several large trucks putting on their breaks and horns all at once. So we are pretty sure it is not from the highway. We have been living here since 2009 and had never heard it before 2012.

Next we are seeing what look like very very bright LED flashes from very high up in the sky. We started seeing those about the middle of 2012. Sometimes they start small and get larger and sometime they are large and get smaller. When we see them they will flash then wait 3-7 seconds then flash one to two more times. Sometimes the second and third flashes are in the same spot and sometimes they are a short distance from where they are first seen. They don’t move from place to place but look like when they leave they shoot straight up from directly above you.

The next thing is the booms. We started hearing them hear about the middle of 2012. Sometimes they sound deep like a canon going off and there will be anywhere from 1-5 of those and can be from all the same direction or from several different directions. Sometime the booms are not as deep and may be rapid and as many a 10-15 or so at a time.

Next are the green flashes they stared a about 6 months ago. Sometimes they come from the same area of the sky and are very bright and distinct and other time they seem more like the diffuse flashes only with a green tint. At first we thought that maybe it was a strange type of lightening and maybe that is what it is. But there is never any thunder.

I personally have seen other things but am only writing to you about those things others have seen or heard at the same time I was seeing or hearing them. I am just wondering if anyone else is seeing any of these things.

The "Hum" In Central Texas - Cedar Park and Round Rock

Another report of the strange and annoying "hum" has come in, this time from Cedar Park, Texas.

We live in Cedar Park, which is not far from Round Rock, TX. I have been hearing a low rumbling, noise that sounds very much like the noises that are being heard in Round Rock, TX. I have asked my Mother many times, if she hears it, and she sometimes does and sometimes doesn't. It is always late at night between 11:00-2:00 when I hear it. I cannot pinpoint the exact area it is coming from because it seems to emanate from below the ground or in the sky. It is loud, constant and luckily I don't hear it in my bedroom, which is on the North side of the house (I hear the noises only outside on the South side of the house). I sure would like to know what is making these noises, if you find out please let us know.

Strange Sounds and Vibrations In Round Rock

In the past I have received a number of emails, concerning an annoying 'sound' in the Round Rock, Texas area.   It seems only a select few hear this sound and some actually feel accompanying "vibrations."

I received an email yesterday, from one long suffering witness who wrote:  "I've been hearing a vibration late at night, usually starting between 11pm-12am.   It sounds like a cross between the alien sound in the movie "Contact" and a truck running its engine, yet not as rhythmic.   It annoys me so much it's hard to sleep, yet my husband doesn't hear it at all."

She admits that she recently had a fluid buildup in her ear but now that it's cleared up, she hears the sound... again.

So what is this annoying sound?   Some people liken it to the Taos Hum.   Others simple say it sounds and "feels like" a like a distant semi running at idle. 

Is this night time cacophony merely acoustic reflectivity from a distant city, or main highway?   Or perhaps it's some type of military testing, or even traffic reverberating through a deep underground tunnel? 

Whatever it is, it's driving people batty and causing a lot of sleepless hours.

Mysterious Booming Sounds in Florida

In March of 2013,  there were fireballs and mystery booms reported over Florida.  Here is one such report.

Summary:  Bright white light followed by the loudest boom/bang Ive ever heard in the distance to the south. A mystery boom.    


Report:
Outside at four in the morning and smoking a cigarette, I saw a bright white light in the direction I was looking (south) followed by a chest shaking bang or boom... Almost like the worlds loudest gunshot times much more. Called the police over it and was informed that it was likely a transformer though their computers showed no outages. I looked into this type of event and found that it falls under the category of mystery boom. The closest event I can direct people to thats similar to what I saw is a video from surveillance taken in Salem, Massachusetts, albeit I was much further away... the video seems to be very close to the boom. I was several miles but it was very loud and the sound took no time to get to me. I didnt see any reports about this in the area, but Ive seen many across the country and feel it should be considered ufo phenomenon. Add West Palm Beach, Florida to the list of places that have experienced a boom. At the time of this posting, more odd events occurred with well known friends in the area. Though this was worth reporting.

Summary:  Ligths & Noise Outside Homes

Report:
At approx 22:45 on Feb 6th 2013 a rumbling/grumble/vibrating & fluctuating ball of light appeared outside my second floor north facing bedroom window startling my wife and I for approx. 10-20 seconds. As I moved downstairs my children were heading upstairs reporting the same thing outside their south facing individual bedroom windows on the first floor. We immediately went outside and saw numerous neighbors emerging from their residences searching for something. Our homes electricity faltered, although power remained on numerous homes the entire length of our street had lost complete power. After speaking with some neighbors they reported the same experience that happened at our home, one neighbor was outside and reported the lights hovering in the of and then shot straight up. Police patrols were immediately apparent and it appeared they were searching for something, at times racing down the roads back and forth. Power company vehicles showed up later and at approx. 12:30 am the other residents homes were returned to power. Our new (Dec 2012) in-ground pool lite was burnt out by the incident and the cable TV, internet and telephone all stopped working. This morning 2/7/13 the power company trucks began working on the power lines behind my home and the cable guy just showed up to fix the issue. The police patrols reported to the residents on the block that they could not explain the incident nor the fact that most of the homes along the block all reported similar lights & noises outside their windows at the same time. The power lines only run behind my house and my immediate neighbor to the west neither of us lost power just the other homes on the same street. The 4 adult members of my family experienced this same event on different floor of the home with the windows facing different directions. There were numerous other neighbors who also experienced this event.

I received an email today, from a woman in Ontario, Canada.

On January 8, 2013, at about 1:30 a.m., she heard a sound from the sky.  Here is her unedited report:

Hello I'm writing you because I too heard this VERY loud humming noise wed jan 8th 2013 at about 1:30 am I was sleeping and this noise woke me up, the only thing is that when I heard it I wanted to move but I just couldn't it felt like I was paralyzed for a few seconds, when I actually sat up in bed the noise still lasted another aprox 10 seconds , this was a humming, rumbling , trumpet , screeching sound noise. It was something I've never heard my whole life,it sounds like it was coming from the sky. I looked out the window and all I saw was what looked like a star. I called my cousin who lives 5 min way and she said she isn't hear anything. I then googled it and Found many videos on ex actually the  noises I heard, the only difference is that it was much much louder. I was so scared to fall asleep, I just didn't wanna hear that noise again. By the time I fell asleep it was around 4 am.

I had to be up at 7 am tat miring for work. When I got up I still could not believe hat I heard, a one point I thought maybe something was wrong with me. When I finally got into work I wasn't sure if I  should ask other people if they had heard any noises at  round 1:30 am that morning, I not want people thinking I was crazy if they didn't. But I had to ask, I wanted to know if I was going crazy or if it was real, so I asked, and yes there was 4 others that heard he same noise. I played one videos I found, and he confirmed yes, that was to The same sound. Now he question is... If all these videos are captured all over the world with this same strange loud noise coming I assume from the sky over the past few yrs, then why is there no word on it, in the media.?.. Do you have any word on these events, or have you heard more of see noises. I'm so scared I'm gonna hear them again.

Strange Jet sound in the Sky?

Strange Jet sound in the sky Wed Jan 9, 2013 @ 2:15pm Mississauga, Ontario, Canada.
We heard it at the front of the building for a few minutes, then got louder but no planes seen in the sky? Went out front then to the back to see where it was coming from but could not get a exact location in the sky, total time of event was approx y 5 min. Walked down the back to see if I could locate in the sky where it was coming from but no luck. Volume warning on the wind noise when I start walking along the back of the buildings.

- No planes in site.
- No heavy equipment around.
- Not the wind (heard when walking only)
- Lasted 5 min or more so no military jets sound would not last that long.
- Temp was 4C out today so sound travel due to very cold weather not related.
- Camera was pointed in the direction of which I thought the sound was coming from.

What was it? Who knows but there was 3 of us that went outside to see if it was a military jet or some other huge airplane which it did not seem to be...........

Explosive "Booms" Rattle Windows In North Central Texas

April 30, 2012, just minutes before 10:00 a.m., residents of Granbury and surrounding areas were surprised and shaken by two loud "booms."

While some thought there was an earthquake, others feared that the local nuclear power plant, Comanche Peak, had exploded.

Frightened residents contacted DFW's NBC5 News and soon the answer came from local aircraft manufacturer, Lockheed Martin's spokesman, Norman Robbins.

"Lockheed Martin Aeronautics was contacted this morning by various media outlets reporting that listeners heard a supersonic boom this morning in Johnson County (Godley) and also from the Granbury area. The company did have supersonic flight activity underway this morning and while the activity generally occurs at very high altitudes, atmospheric conditions sometime result in disturbances on the ground. The testing is a normal part of the manufacturing process used for preparing military aircraft for our customers."

According to the NBC5 report, "Lockheed would not provide any specifics on the type of aircraft being tested."

One report I received from a man in Granbury stated:

"I actually saw the sonic air wave disturbance, with this one. You know how everything is distorted slightly in a circular pattern around a blast, as the percussion waves push outward. You can see that in video clips of massive explosions. I saw that today. Just as the blast wave hit us, everything became completely out of focus, a split second after the booms. We thought the giant cottonwood tree was going to fall on us. The tree was swaying back and forth, and over a dozen branches came crashing down all around us. I have storm glass through out the house, since the last boom we had. I know that there are broken windows all over Granbury today. We heard many, many police sirens right after the boom as well."

One witness posted a comment to this blog, stating:

"We just heard an unexplained explosion that shook our house, just North of Granbury. It sounded like it came from south. My first thought was Glenrose. We drove around to a look out point and don't see anything.  We put the news on and nothing. It was so weird. I googled and found this post about it also happening last year."

My question is, if this is true and Lockheed Martin was conducting flight activity on the morning of April 30, 2012, then why are these supersonic aircraft being "tested" over highly populated areas?

So what are the eerie rumblings, whistles, hums and trumpeting that people around the world are hearing?  When these sounds are heard, could it be that atmospheric conditions are just right, allowing sounds from space to be heard right here on Earth?

Are these sounds due to seismic activity?  Not likely, as in most cases there were no reports of seismic activity occurring at the time these sounds were heard.

Is there a possibility that these sounds are due to some type of communication?  If so, then from who, or what?

There is some unseen, unknown force at work here.  It's most likely natural but for now it remains a mystery. -SW

A personal account: Humming Sound and Being Immobilized

November 2, 2009, near Breckenridge, Texas.
Time:  05:52
Duration:  Less than 10 minutes

I got up from bed and went to the bathroom. When I came back to bed, the clock on the nightstand read 5:52 a.m.

As soon as I got in bed, my dog started barking and crying. Suddenly the dog stopped and the cell phone by the bed was "activated",  then the clock radio near the cell phone started making a throbbing static noise, somewhat like a short burst of Morse code.  That finally stopped and then I began to hear a deep rumbling, "thrumming" sound.  At first it was very faint but grew louder and louder as it passed very slowly, directly over the house. 

The sound was much like the hydro electric generators at the powerhouse, where my spouse had worked for 20 years before retiring.  The only difference was that this humming sound was more subdued and I could feel it, as well as hear it.

There were no lights involved.  I don't recall seeing anything but I "envisioned" a dark, triangular-shaped craft moving slowly over my house.

I felt a pressure in my chest, like I was being pushed down into the bed and it actually felt like I was being scanned.  I wasn't paralyzed, my arms were free to move but I just couldn't get up.  I tried.  I also flung my arms, striking my husband's arm several times.

The object passed on over, I was released, the sound faded and I laid there knowing that I had just received a "passing visit".

My spouse said he was awake but all he remembers is the dog barking, also the cell phone and the radio making noise.  He never moved, though I desperately tried to rouse him, hitting his arm with mine and asking him, "Can you hear that?  Listen!  I can't move!  Wake up!"  I called his name to no avail.  As far as I could tell, he was unconscious.

As the humming sound receded, becoming more faint and indistinct, I immediately fell back to sleep.

I've experienced this at night, on two other occasions.  It has never occurred during sunlit hours.

I'd like to note, that the very next year a contact called me one evening, saying that a triangle UFO was seen being escorted by military helicopters, headed in my direction  from south to north.  I watched but never saw, nor heard this "aerial convoy".

Was it of extraterrestrial origin, or is it something that our military is using, hiding in 'plain sight'?

Report:
My wife and I were at the new football staduim at James Madison University watching the game. It was the beginning of the third quarter, and there was no longer any sunlight in the staduim, but the setting sun was still shining above the horizon. My wife, looking up overhead, said "What's that" I observed a brilliant spherical object which appeared to be 1 cm to the naked eye traveled from south to north (right to left). When I noticed it, it was about 30 degrees right of reaching its closest point overhead. The object was totally silent, and left no visible trail such as smoke, debris or exhaust. There was no aura or any type of visible distortion of the light surrounding the object. From my 8 years experience as a Navy F-14 pilot with 1700 hours, I would estimate that the object was at an altitude of approximately 1000 feet above the ground, at an estimated speed of 600 - 700 knots, and would have an actual diameter of 10 to 15 feet. As the object was traveling away, it was observed to slightly vary its course from left to right and back, rather than follow a ballistic trajectory. This made it seem to me to be in to be in controlled flight. I was observing this very slight "sidewinder" motion as if looking from the rear of the object, rather than the underside, due to its relatively low altitude (i.e. If it were a jet I would have been looking up the tailpipe.) In about 5 seconds it passed out of sight beyond the top of the north side of the football stadium. I thought immediately that it was a controlled flying object which was neither civilian nor military. My wife was in awe and said "What WAS that?" I was quite elated, and said "That was a UFO!". I do not know if any of the other 25,000 people at the game saw this object, but I am quite sure that someone else must have seen it. If you draw a N -S line on a map or photo over JMU's football field, you will have the part of the trajectory which we observed. Report:
Outside at 9:00 pm I was outside thinking of putting Christmas lights up when I had the feeling to look up.Three disks in a triangle pattern flew over low to the ground,The had a orange glow to them.Shortly after 2 jets went by at the same height and looked military.Then 5 disks flew over and made a pattern.They were higher than the others.That's when 5 white orbs appeared and their was a disk with flashing lights on either side of the orbs evenly which could have made it one ship then 2 disks moved to the left each higher and evenly distanced and also went from glowing and when stopped flashing blue and white.My wife had joined me after yelling for her and seen the formation after they stopped.After about 3 minutes I ran for my camera and returned and they were gone.

Strange Flash of Lights and Sound

Report:
While sitting in my yard stargazing looking SW towards the Gulf around 8:30pm. I was waiting and hoping for some meteor activity. I have noticed a lot (4 in a week) of shooting stars lately between sunset and 10pm.
It was a beautiful clear evening. I was looking at the same pulsing blue star that I have enjoyed for years when all of a sudden I saw a dim white glow about 15D SW of the blue star. I immediately switched my focus on that glow that gradually got brighter and brighter all while staying stationary. The glow got larger and brighter and then it flashed a brilliant white light that made me see spots as you would get from a camera flash at a short distance.
After the flash it dimmed and got smaller and then at amazing speed it either headed south or plunged down. My depth perception was affected by the flash, I had to rub my eyes to get full focus back.
I can only describe it as a lighthouse because of the way it faded in, flashed then faded out before it moved and disappeared. I have never seen a aircraft move as fast as this light did.
Being the skeptic that I am, I immediately tried to debunk what I just witnessed. I have ruled out every feasible possibility. My first thought was that it was a spotlight from a helicopter but the rate of speed ruled that out. Then I thought it could be a meteor, but since it did not move for 10-15 seconds and then move at such a fast rate of speed ruled that out as well. My other thoughts of what it was just seem to irrational to admit to.
It has been a week since the sighting and I have been watching the same area with nothing new to report. It was one of the few things that I can not explain.

Was laying in bed early on the morning of november 28th,2011. Heard a sound that sounded like the power in my house going out but was louder and didnt affect my power at all. Felt a weird electricity in the air but it slowly went away. About 20-30 minutes later heard the same electronic wave of a noise, then saw a huge blue light explode in the sky out of my window. Happened 3 times then was not seen again.

Report:
I was driving my daughter to work at 6:50 am on 11/29/11. My daughter (19 years old) and I (54 years old) were initially drawn to lights in the sky. The lights were strange because they were exceptionally bright and looked different than normal aircraft lights. It appeared to be a bright light with smaller lights below it, I thought I could see a very small tail, like an aircraft, but the entire shape looked more round, however I could not clearly make out the shape, only the lights were very clear. Of course, I initially thought it was an aircraft just playing tricks with my eyes, but it then started rapidly moving in a horizontal direction and stop, then rapidly in a vertical direction and then stop. I don?t believe, nor have I ever believed in UFO?s, but I was completely baffled, (and a little freaked out) so I turned my vehicle in a way I could keep watching this object. It moved 6-8 times in these incredibly quick vertical/horizontal movements covering a distance that no aircraft could cover and then seem to stop in an instant. Both my daughter and I witnessed this. I eventually had to go by a very large building and when I came out from the building I could not find the object again. All I can say is that I can?t explain what I saw but it is something I won?t soon forget. Brian

Last night I was surprised to see that the Tallahassee, FL, National Weather Service admitted that the returns on the radar were "military chaff", not rain. This area got bombarded on Monday and yesterday. See the second paragraph below.

Tallahassee Florida, 3-09-2011.. Around 6:30 on.
What is this noise??? We thought for sure it was a Tornado, But it never changed it's position, and it lasted for well over 20 minutes or so... It was Soooo Loud, and it was shaking the house and the ground.
I called 911, They said they didnt know what it was, But that there were MANY calls coming in about the noise. They said they were sending patrols out to check it out...
There was a Flash of light that came from the same direction of the noise, then the noise just faded away. It was a relief obviously, I still thought it may have been a Tornado, But it also wasn't making any sense to me. We even put the kids in the bathtub and put a mattress over them just in case.
I called the News Station also, They told me it wasn't a Tornado, And that the police had told them to tell people it was an airplane revving it's engine at the airport. I live 4 miles from the airport, And I have lived here for 20 years, I have never heard an An airplane rev its engine at the airport, that was just insanity.
So when the noise was over, we drove down to the airport and stopped at a gas station nearby, They said they didnt hear anything. So it was not coming from that direction!
AND, on the 11 o'clock news that night, the weather man made a comment about all the calls that had come in about the noise, He said, Dont worry, It wasn't a Tornado, and it was confirmed that it WASN'T an Airplane, ALL You were hearing was THUNDER!!!..
If anyone has ever heard Thunder that was anything like that, Please let me know. It is just so Strange to me that the Stories kept changing.. Like we are stupid or something and dont know what Thunder sounds like.
Anyway, I Dont Know What it was.. But if you have any clue at all, Please do tell


Also, Very strange how after the Flash of light there was no thunder, the noise actually stopped.
Oh, and the NASA Space shuttle Discovery had already landed in south Florida about 5 hours earlier that day. It wouldn't have hovered for 20 minutes anyway, But just saying.

OK, first of all I had no idea this video was going to be this popular. Pretty exciting stuff. Anyways, there's alot of arguing on here about sound in space. Obviously sound needs a medium to pass through, to vibrate through so that it can carry the sound waves. Space has no air, and therefore cannot project sound in audible wave form. As it says in the description, these sounds are not from satellites zooming around the earth with a normal microphone. Sohpisticated instruments can detect the different sonic vibrations going on in the planet GENERALLY. So what you are hearing is not what it would be like if you just stuck an ear out the window of a space ship. First of all you would probably either die or go deaf in that ear for the rest of your life because of the pressure of the vaccum. What the remote sensors on the sattellite are doing is analyzing different radio frequencies coming off the surface of the earth and converting it into audible soundwaves for you and I to hear. So you're not hearing whales, you're not hearing cars or even wind. You're merely hearing the general frequencies of the Earth in an audible format.

Are those Earth sounds familiar?   I thought so.

It is very suspect that the incident in Tallahassee, Florida was said due to aircraft at the airport. If that were so, then why hadn't the witnesses ever heard it before? And then for the weatherman to claim it was just thunder? That would have to be the longest roll of thunder ever recorded!

Truth be told, the so-called 'experts' don't have a clue.

What's that sound? The "Hum" Heard 'Round The World

Around the world, people are taking note of a sound, a hum, that permeates the air around them.

Is this natural and due to a shift in the magnetic fields, seismec activity, or is it something more sinister?

I received an email from a young mother in Round Rock, Texas. She complained of a "hum".

Here is that email (edited to remove personal information).

"I live in the [removed] subdivision of Round Rock Texas. I've been awakened in recent weeks by strange humming noises, like at 3am this morning. I was first awakened by my one year old talking in his sleep through the baby monitor. Then around 2:55am I awakened to a humming which changed frequency several times. Usually it's just one frequency. The A/C was off and an inspection of the sky showed no aircraft or high wind. I was unable to sleep all night and felt sick, stomach ache and generally restless and uneasy. At about 10am this morning (11/12/2011) there were 7 military copters in formation flying low over our home. Two times in the last 4 months there have been large military formations flying over our house at around 3-4am. Once I slept through it but my husband was awakened and disturbed. The other time I was awakened and it was so close to our house that the windows were shaking and I ran to get the baby because I thought they were crashing on us. What the heck is going on around here?!"

Previously, I had received emails from a lady living in Pflugerville, who experienced the same humming sounds. She had also noticed military aircraft in the area. Is there a connection?

So what is going on? No one is certain but there have been suggestions, ranging from electromagnetic fields, to the use of HAARP.

Another suggestion is, could this be the sound of earth boring equipment? I spent many years listening to the generators at a hydro-electric power plant, where my spouse worked. We lived nearby.  When the generators were on line, the hum and even the rumbling vibration is a very close match.

Whatever this sound is, it is very annoying and can be hazardous to human health.

Fireball Over Arizona? 9/14/2011

What was it? ‘Glowing object’ lights up sky over Arizona, Southwest

abc15.com- PHOENIX - Experts believe a bright ‘glowing object’ spotted over the Arizona sky Wednesday night was either a fireball or a bright meteor.
ABC15 started getting reports of the sighting around 7:45 p.m.
Many residents around the state said they saw a "glowing object" fly across the night sky . A Valley student posted video capturing a light in the sky.
Residents in Las Vegas and Southern California also reported seeing the light.
A NASA scientist told msnbc.com the object was most likely a fragment of an asteroid.
Some said it was a blue-green color while others claimed it was orange and yellow. Experts said in the msnbc.com article that a meteor is slower than a shooting star and it's possible for it to appear to change colors.
A NASA official reports that while they can’t say 100-percent, it is most likely a fireball or a very bright meteor the size of a baseball or basketball. Read the complete msnbc.com article.
Law enforcement in the Valley also saw the object.
"We received four calls (total) regarding the light in the sky," a Phoenix Police spokesman told ABC15. "Our air unit, myself, and other officers also observed it as well. We all made our wishes and went back to work."
A spokesman with the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office said their aviation unit did confirm seeing the meteor over Deer Valley Airport, but there haven't been any reports of an impact site.

Man Reports Explosion In Sky Over Granbury, Texas- 6/21/2011

I received an email from a friend, claiming that on the evening of June 21, 2011, he and his neighbor heard an explosion in the skies over Granbury, Texas.  The explosive sound damaged windows and toppled objects off shelves.

Earlier today (June 22, 2011), the tree limbs that had been knocked down out of the trees by the blast, were withered and the leaves crisp and dry.  He had tested for radiation and though the limbs were "hot" last night, the radiation is now gone.

At exactly 11:37 pm, there was a massive explosion in the atmosphere above Granbury. The sound of this explosion was so strong, that it cracked my sky light in the living room and three other windows are broken. The entire house shook with such force from the initial blast, that every single thing on my shelves and counter tops vibrated to the floor. I could feel the sonic boom on my heart and it actually made my head pound for several seconds. The extremely loud thunder type of rumbling continued for over two minutes and slowly faded in decibel levels, until it faded out completely.

I noticed a very bright reddish-purple glow coming from above the house and through the skylight, just seconds before the sound of the explosion hit my location. I honestly thought that a small tactical nuclear bomb had been detonated at or near the Nuclear plant in Glenrose. There were no storms in the area and there hasn't been any storms or rain here in Granbury now, for over two months. All of the storms from last night and tonight, split up and went around us, as I watched this happen on radar.

This was not lightning and thunder from storms!  Even my cats were scared out of their wits and had arched backs, with the hair standing up all over, for several minutes after the event. My neighbor even came out and looked up into the sky, at the same time that I did. He said: "What the Hell was that! Did a house in the neighborhood explode or something?!

We found his front window cracked and heard several police sirens in the distance.

I will let you know if I find out more about this strange phenomena. Should this have been the result of a rogue lightning bolt, that arced from the storms fifty miles south of us, this would be the first one of this magnitude, that I know of.  One thing that scares the hell out of me and is just way too coincidental...

Let me know if you hear from any one else, that experienced this same explosive effect.

BTW- The temperature, at the time of this event was still at 94 degrees. There was a very slight breeze out of the south, and the temperature now...at 12:22 is 77 degrees.
The coolest temps we have had here in Granbury at night, for the last two weeks, has been only 84 degrees. Our high temps have been from 101 to 114! and absolutely not one single drop of rain! The grass and weeds are all dead, and all of my trees are starting to die off now! I have only had 00.75 inches of rain, since Jan. 1st!

I would swear that I am experiencing weather manipulation warfare. I can't explain it any other way.

Then today he writes:

I forgot to mention, that four large branches broke off of my cottonwood tree during the event. They were
the upper most branches and I tested them for radiation. They were pretty hot! So my neighbor helped me to move them to the farthest back corner of my property. There was absolutely no wind last night too!
I went out to look at the branches a few minutes ago, and the leaves are already brown and will crumble in your hand with ease. They were still green last night! No more radiation though. Pretty darn freaky!

Hutto, TX- Couple Hear Humming Sound Overhead

I received an email this morning, from a couple near Hutto, Texas, claiming that they each on two separate occasions heard a thumping sound, then a humming noise pass over their house.
The husband heard the sound on February 28, 2011 and his wife had heard it less that two weeks earlier.
Here is that report:



We didn't see them, but we heard something...

We just wanted to report something strange that occurred around the 28th of February, and about two weeks prior to that. My husband and I both had the same experience, separately, in different weeks, and each of us was alone during it, with the other one asleep.

The first time, it was around 2:30 AM the 21st of Feb, 2011 or late in the previous week (and I did not write the date down, regrettably). I was awakened by several thumps outside. I thought maybe a raccoon or coyote was going over the fence (it has happened in the past). I got up to investigate, and looked out the back toward a large open area. (We live on the edge of an undeveloped area close to Hutto, TX.)  I didn't see anything, no airplanes, helicopters, animals, nothing, not even any wind. But I heard something. It was a fairly loud humming sound that got louder, seemed to pass over or by the house, and then gradually died away. It was a very strange sound that I can't quite describe, but it was not the furnace, or the compressor, or anything in the house. I had never heard anything like it before. I thought about going outside, but I was dissuaded because my hair started standing up on the back of my neck! I stayed up a little longer, but all was quiet, so I returned to bed. I told my husband the next morning that I had heard thumps outside and heard a "weird noise" but that was all that I said about it.

My husband recounted this story to me. On the 28th of February, my husband was awakened by loud thumps that he thought were on the roof. (I did not hear anything, which is very unusual, being that I am a very light sleeper). He went to the back and looked out, didn't see anything at all, again, no airplanes, or anything. Then, as he described to me, he heard a loud thrumming or humming that was nearly on top of the house. He also said he thought about going outside, but decided that might be a very bad idea, and he felt freaked out by the noise, so he stayed inside. The humming noise died away in a few minutes. He returned to bed. In the morning he told me about what had happened, and I was startled to say the least! I reminded him about my experience and it was very similar to his, including a very strong reluctance to go outside to see what the sound was.

So we didn't see a UFO, but perhaps we heard one? If anyone knows of any stealth aircraft in the area, or some reason for this sound and thumps, we would like to know.

Also, we don't have any above-ground power lines, so there are no power converters, no large power towers or lines, and the closest street light is a block away from our house. We have no outdoor lights except for small fixtures on the front and back porch. There are no businesses or other sources of that kind of sound nearby that we know of. And, like some of the other people who have written from this area, we have a pretty dark sky and are accustomed to what it looks like, and the usual night time sounds--or lack of--it's very quiet here at 2:30-3:00 AM. We had never heard a sound like it. So the humming that seemed to exhibit a doppler effect (growing louder as it got closer and fading away as the source moved away) is very strange indeed.
