Rectangle over Eureka, CA

A few nights ago, on Sept. 3, 2015, my wife and I saw an object that looks almost identical to the picture above, fly directly over our house in Eureka, CA. It was low, maybe 500 ft, and flew very slowly. It made a very loud, deep rumbling noise, sort of like a jet, but without the high pitched whine that I associate with most jets I've heard before. It was rectangular like a cell phone, but the corners were cut off and had small round orange lights where the corners would've been, and one big red flashing light in the middle. I ran in and grabbed my binoculars and got a pretty good look at it. It seemed to be a light colored grey, and had curved lines that ran front to back from the front orange lights to the rear ones on each side. It flew with the long sides of the rectangle oriented as it's leading and rear edges, and the shorter sides as the left and right sides of the object...basically, it was longer side to side than it was from front to back. We watched it slowly fly in a straight line for about two and a half minutes, until it was too far away to see over the roof of our neighbors house across the street. It was really unbelievable. Nobody else in the area has reported seeing this thing except us, which is really amazing as it was so loud that it shook our house slightly, Initially, I thought it was an extremely low flying jet, which is why I went outside in the first place.

LITS Reports, Research, Investigations and Findings

You may be wondering where I've been and what I've been up to.  Well, the title of this post should give you a hint.

I've received a number of reports and with each one, I investigate and research, looking to find a clue as to what the witness might have seen. 

Here's a breakdown of just some of the reports and what I've concluded, thus far.:

Bright light in southwest sky (viewed for up to 1 hour).  Conclusion: Venus.

Bright Flash on horizon (Austin).  Conclusion:  Exploding transformer.

Several reports of Bright Object moving across sky in straight line trajectory.  Conclusion:  International Space Station.

Triangle of strobing lights (1 red, 1 green with trailing white flashing light).  Conclusion:  Airplane

Daytime video of cloaked, elongated object.  Conclusion:  Unknown at this time; still under investigation.

Transparent Orb with swirling nucleus.  Conclusion:  Unknown at this time; still under investigation.

I've also received several reports where the witnesses never got back with me, or stated they have photos, drawings, etc., but have never sent them in.



I read and consider each report.  If I have the answer, I will respond with the information.  If witnesses give me only a bit of information and then do not respond to my requests (answers to my questions), I must assume that the reports weren't serious.


Here are some helpful hints when you think you're seeing a UFO.:

If it is a bright light in the sky that seems to be stationary, yet is moving very slowly up from the horizon, or down towards the horizon, check a star map.  It probably is Venus, or a bright star, such as Arcturus.


If you see a bright light in the sky that seems to be moving all over the place, divert your eyes towards another point of light, while observing the object light using your peripheral vision.  If the object light does not appear to be moving when using this technique, it probably is just a star.

Never direct laser pointers at suspected or known aircraft.  If it is an airplane, you could blind the pilot and besides, doing so is against the law!

If you do see something that appears to be of alien origin, there is no sense in attracting it's attention.  Such acts can end you up in a bad situation (abduction, physical harm, etc.).

Never go sky watching alone, especially in a desolate area.

Take photos and/or video of the object(s) but be sure to incorporate surroundings in some of the shots.  This gives perspective and reference points.

Report your sightings.  When you do so, please specify when, where, what; how long the observation lasted; what direction you first saw the object; whether the object traveled or remained stationary; how the object moved and how it disappeared from your view.  Also give your name and a phone number where you can be reached and a time to call, just in case I feel more questions are necessary.  I do not post, nor share personal information.

When you see something you can't identify and you have checked your star map app (mobile apps are available), or checked the NASA Space Flight schedule, please report it.  I may be busy but not too busy to check out your reports!

Hollywood, CA: Witness Captures Photo Of Strange Rectangle of Lights

The witness, located in Hollywood, CA, was taking a photo of the moon when she saw the lights in the screen of her iPhone. 
The lights were only visible while taking the photo. 

She did not hear any sound associated with the lights.

Object Photographed Over Nuclear Plant In Hayward, CA

I received an email and these photos from a witness in Hayward, California.   I enlarged the images for a better view of the object.

The photos were taken from Depot Rd. in Hayward, California.   The witness informs me that the object was directly over a nuclear plant, which is behind a junk yard (please see photo below).

The photos were taken on March 6, 2013.   All photos (there are more) were taken between 10:36 am and 10:37 am (Pacific).

This is all the information I have at this time.    I thought at first, that it looked like a bunch of blown up trash bags but the object has some sort of extensions protruding from it.   A colleague of mine suggested that it is some sort of drone.

Report:
It was very early 3 am, I for no reason woke up and went out side into the driveway of my house. It was a still morning , there was what is known as coastal eddy at the time. A thick layer of fog or cloud cover with a ceiling of about 500 feet. there was another fog that could be seen off in the distance with a visibility of about a mile and a half. It was approximately 7 min. after 3am, digital alarm clock read 3:03 went I got up and went outside.

I was standing in my driveway when I noticed a red glow above and to the right, I then saw the craft emerge from the fog layer above. as it emerged I could clearly see a spheroid object, essentially a cube with the corners shaved off, I have sent drawing of it to the directors email.

Out from each side, top, bottom, right left front back, of course I couldnt the far side, but I could make out that there was a flame on that side too.

The nature of the flames(plasma jets) were unlike that of rockets, they were thicker as in more dense it whipped around slowly but was not exausting as our jets do, pushing out thrust, these jets as I say whipped around slowly like a cats tail except for the front jet that was being pushed by the head wind as it moved through the air.

The local news reported several sightings during that time, it was reported to be a natural phenomenon and not a ufo

UFO Observed Over Irvin, CA 4/16/2012

I received this emailed report from a witness in Irvine, California.  The sighting occurred On Monday, April 16, 2012 at 12:48 a.m.

Hello.  I am a bit apprehensive about writing about this, but it is keeping me up tonight.  First, I am not from Texas.  I am in California.  Second, I strongly believe I saw an unidentifiable flying object.  Here are the facts based on what I saw earlier tonight:

[1] Time of Observation: 12:48AM Pacific Standard Time
[2] Description:
[a] Direction of Object: I saw a fast flying object going Southbound.  At first I thought it was a plane, but the closest airport we have is the [redacted], which is not a large airport and routinely shuts down after 12AM.  While I was watching this flying object I was pondering it could possibly be military since there are several military bases in Southern California, but it was traveling quite fast (faster than normal jet airliners and jet fighters I have seen during the daytime.

[b] Description of Object: There are two reasons why I believe it was not military (unless it was an experimental craft) are twofold: 1) It was traveling extremely fast, and more importantly 2) The lights coming from the flying craft exhibited rotating red and white/yellow lights, which were rotating fast.  The object was not too far off from my perspective.  Typically when I see jet liners coming into [redacted], the night lights which are also white and red are always steady - meaning not blinking steadily nor rotating.

I have never seen this before in my life.  Of course, I am aware that millions of people have purported to have seen unidentifiable flying crafts, but due to lack of clear recorded evidence (poor video quality) most have written it off as unclear, speculative, or natural phenomenons.  In this case, I am 100% certain I did not observe a natural phenomenon.  Nor am I writing under false pretenses.  I know what I saw, and it was clearly not a jet liner, so I can only assume two things:

[A] It was an experimental military aircraft, or
[B] It was an alien air/space craft.

Either way, it is an unidentifiable object.  Now, pertaining to my mental and emotional quotient:

[A] I have graduated from a 4-Year university and also earned my master's degree from a well known university in [redacted].
[B] I have studied natural sciences (biology), political science, and business.
[C] I have never had a never breakdown or delusional thoughts, or anything related to those.  I am as sane as the next person.

So, I am not very comfortable about writing this as there are potential rifts that can form, so I am not willing to divulge my name, telephone, etc. but you can email me with questions.  Unfortunately, I do not have a high-powered digital camera, telescope, or video camera...only what my eyes saw earlier tonight.  I apologize that I could not be more helpful, but I thought at the very least I can concur with your group that I may have seen an unidentifiable flying object.

I wrote the witness back and asked:
"Is it that you only saw lights, or did you see the actual object the lights were attached to?  Can you describe the object itself?"


The witness replied:
Hello Sunny.  Thanks for replying.  I hope I can answer your questions in short order below:

[1] The object was traveling on a long arc trajectory horizontally.
[2] The object appeared to be elliptical (almost circular) in fashion.
[3] The white and red lights that may appear to be flashing at first glance, but it was actually rotating in a circular fashion around the flying object when I watched it further for at least 3-5 minutes.  Then it disappeared.

Now, I have flown many times on business, school, and vacation and I know lights do not rotate on jet liners.  Nor do lights rotate on jet fighters or other typical planes.  Also, when an airplane's lights are visible (obviously during the evening and night hours), the lights blink steadily in a linear fashion based on the trajectory of the plane, which is linear.  This unidentifiable object was not traveling like a plane.  Also, IT WAS EXTREMELY FAST.  Based on a rudimentary assessment in my head, I would calculate it traveled that distance at 10 times the speed of a jet liner...and my home is on one of the paths for landing into [redacted] airport, so I see a lot of airplanes overhead.

Anyways, it was traveling over a low mountain region about 3 miles from my house traveling in a southbound direction.  I was actually doing my nightly thing where on a clear night I would go outside into my courtyard, get some fresh air, look at the stars, and go to bed...but last night I saw something far different than the norm.

As I stated previously, I could not tell if it was metallic, but I can make an educated guess that based on the lights refracting and reflecting that the object was metallic in build and color.

My original assumptions are: [1] It was an experimental military aircraft since I know we have military bases, known and unknown, in Southern California, or [2] It was alien in origin thus unidentifiable.

Rectangle Object Seen Over San Luis Reservoir, California

A witness reported to MUFON that on April 16, 2012, they (along with other vehicle drivers), observed a rectangular object in the sky over the San Luis Reservoir, near Los Banos, California.

Here is that slightly edited report.

I was driving west on Hwy 152 from Los Banos, CA at 7:30am. As I drove past the dam at the east end of San Luis Reservoir I saw a bright light above the hills on the west end of the lake. My first thought was that it was a reflection of the sun behind me off a low flying silver airplane. The light was not moving so I thought it might be a reflection off the tip of a radio tower. I was not aware of a radio tower in the area so over the next couple of miles I looked hard to see if I could spot on underneath the light. As I drove along the north side of the lake and over Pacheco Pass for the next five minutes or so, I lost visual contact with the light. As I descended the pass, I noticed a white car parked along the road and a man standing next to it with binoculars. Around the next curve I saw 4 cars pulled over, with people out of the cars looking upward to the south. I thought they had spotted a California condor or some other rare bird. Around the next corner were 6 cars pulled over. I had to know what they were looking at. I pulled over and looked up. There was a large metallic rectangle perched in the sky.

I got out of my truck and immediately began talking to the man & woman from the next car. Over the next 15 minutes we talked about everything we saw, so I know we all saw the same thing and had the same questions.

I saw a large rectangle floating in the sky at roughly 60 degrees up from the horizon. I estimate that the rectangle was half a mile or less from us, 80 feet high and 50 feet wide. The side facing us was silver metallic
in color. It was highly reflective, like Mylar. It was silvery except when it reflected the sun at us. The bursts of reflection were sporadic as though there was equipment or a texture of some sort on the surface.

The object was stationary and silent. We looked for wings and balloons, and listened for motors. We saw no means of propulsion or levitation with which we were familiar. After a few minutes, perhaps 5, the object began to rotate. As it rotated 90 degrees, we saw that the side was very narrow and black. It rotated a little more and we saw that the back was also black in color. The narrow side showed us that the overall shape of the object was similar to a mattress or paperback book. The corners and edges were crisp like a book rather than rounded like a mattress. Given my estimate of a 50x80 foot object, I estimate that the thickness was about 5 feet.

Once the object rotated we observed that it was moving slowly toward the southwest. The winds were blowing gently in that direction, so it is possible that the object was drifting with the wind. We continued to look, almost compulsively, for evidence of a helium-filled balloon. The object did not appear to change its elevation.

After 10 minutes the object had moved far enough away from us that it was a small black speck with one small bright reflective spot. At this point the man and his wife left. I watched the object 5 minutes more, until 8:00AM, and then left. Its appearance did not change again.

The object could have been a giant book shaped balloon filled with helium made of silver and black Mylar. The hurdles to this possibility are: 1) a very odd shape and orientation for a balloon, 2) object did not appear to flex or otherwise react to the wind, 3) there is no apparent source of a 20,000cf balloon that would only have risen to 400-800 yards near San Luis Reservoir (closest towns are 20 miles east and 20 miles west) 4) object rotated 90 degrees then stopped rather than continuing its rotation from angular momentum, 5) the edges appeared crisp like metal rather than puffy like a Mylar balloon.

Two clouds in air exploding, raining burning debris over desert: & orb

My wife, daughter and I were traveling east-bound on interstate 40 at approximately 2:30 PM Wednesday, March 20, 2012 about 10 miles west of Ludlow. I was driving and noticed off to the right (south of interstate)a cloud that was rapidly expanding and blowing off giant trails of hot burning debris all over the desert. The Cloud seemed to be about 500-1000 feet above the desert floor, stationary and literally exploding in mid-air. The cloud did not have a tragectory of any sort that we could tell, nor was there any vehicles, military aparratus, fire, or other human activity to explain the event. My Wife filmed the event as we traveled past and we have incredible footage. Pictures were also taken as we drove by. The only discernable object around the area was a bright white orb about the size of a large beach ball. It was intermittently in and out of the area surrounding the exploding white cloud. After viewing the footage we did find that an orb was captured in one of the several videos we took. As we continued east we took moore pictures, and notes as to mile markers on the freeway and to get some scale of the event we just witnessed. The cloud continued to expand to over a mile wide over the mountains as we drove away. We cannot make out what was behind, or rather inside the cloud at all. It was as-if something massive was exploding in another dimension, and spilling into ours.

Triangle Shape Object With About 14 Orange Lights

My back yard is looking into the training area here (Known as the box). I was looking over towards the training city of Abu Layla and saw this group of bright orange lights. Looked to be about 14 or more lights in a triangle form. The lights were just hovering above the road out there. After 10 minutes of watching this the lights headed east towards the I15 freeway and you could see the glow of this object silhouette the mountains. When it took off it had to be going faster then 600mph because it only took about 5 seconds for it to disappear (figuring the speed by the time and distance). When it took off it went from a stand still position. This is my 3rd time seeing it here in the same spot. I work in this area every day, and there is nothing but Desert out there. I have 2 pictures I took with a Point and Shoot camera, but they came out blurry due to the distance and are not 'really' helpful.

Watched a flying object over Bob Hope Drive with my sister. There was quite a few cars on the road so I'm sure others saw it, too. Followed it as it got further and further away. It was flying in a circular motion for quite a while - as we parked along a secluded road to watch it in disbelief.

Flew further away (Easterly direction).

The craft had lights along its circular border and one red light on top. It had the shape of a toy spinner/spinner top.

Summary:  UFO traveling West down the 101 near Woodman. Bright lights at first, then when it went overhead I saw silver triangle with red and green lights. It wasn't very high off the ground

I was driving home on the east/southbound 101 at 11:23pm on the evening of Friday, October 14, 2011. When I was approaching the Woodman exit, I saw four very bright lights in the air ahead of me. They looked like car headlights, except they were very bright, and were illuminating the foggy cloud cover above and below them. I thought it was a jet taking off from Burbank airport for a few seconds, but then I realized that the light coming down from this thing were illuminating a patch of the highway in front of me, so it was quite low.

When I first saw it the angle was about 20degrees above the horizon. There was other traffic on the highway with me, and when I passed under the object, I leaned forward and looked up through my windshield. I saw silver-colored, triangular object with a red light at the point, and two green lights midway down each side (they were constant, unblinking lights). I THINK there were also lights at the rear corners. Also on the shape was a silver line just "inboard" from the outer edge, in a v-shape mirroring the triangle itself (see my really not very good drawing).

As I passed under it my car was illuminated by the light coming off of it. I saw the underside of it VERY clearly (though could no longer see the four bright white lights), and I don’t think it could’ve been more than 100’ off the ground. Given the way the angle increased so rapidly (I was going about 60 and it was going the other direction at about ¼-½ my speed), I think it must’ve been pretty low.

I would’ve done ANYTHING to be on anything but a freeway, as I watched it disappear down the road behind me. I exited at Laurel Canyon, turned around and headed back down the freeway but I never saw it again. I went all the way to Van Nuys blvd. before realizing I would've caught it and that it must not be following the original flight path/pattern.

While at the stoplight at Laurel Canyon I noted the time on my car’s clock (it said 11:24 and it had been about 1 minute since I saw the object). I was hoping someone else exiting would pull next to me so I could ask if they’d seen it too, but the only other car which exited turned right (and I was turning left so I could get back on the freeway in the other direction).

I’d do anything to be able to relive this experience. It was either someone trying very hard to be a convincing UFO over the freeway (say, by dressing up a helicopter), or… …or I don’t know. I was surprised at how clearly I saw it when I looked up through my windshield (though I probably only saw the actual “upview” of the shape for a second or two); I was only expecting to see the four lights – not the triangular thingy I actually saw.

When I first saw the row of four lights (which I drew next to the triangle shape), they were giving of a LOT of light radiating upwards from them as well as downwards – represented by the triangles in the drawing but not to the side - AND not nearly in the sharply-defined conical shape I represent in the drawing - it was just massive amounts of light spilling upwards and downwards). The light was “yellower/whiter” than a police spotlight (which has kind of a blue hue), and the pool of light it made on the freeway was less defined as well. The pool of light on the freeway was also not “jittering” the way a police helicopter light does. When the object was still in front of me (and all I could see were the four lights), I could tell that it was moving a bit from side to side (very smoothly) as it came toward me.

I have never seen a UFO before, nor have I ever reported anything like this ever before. Honestly – it was a pretty incredible sight, the more I think about it. I know this is likely one of the lamer reports you receive, but I can hardly believe that not one other person on the freeway saw/reported it. Someone traveling in the other direction would’ve had a side view at about a 45-degree angle.

Possible Case of Alien Abduction in California

I will tell you my story.

Well, here it goes, I am a 41yo who had a heart transplant in 2001 and a stroke which left my right side partially limited. I was living in San Jose and had a fantastic position with an international hi-tech firm doing project management in Palo Alto. It was a great future in store for me, and I was very excited to be a part of it. I am living north now in McKinleyville, CA.

From what I can remember in the past:

5 years old: I was climbing on the outer railing when I fell off the second floor and right before I landed on my back on the tiles, I felt my body being set down very slowly. Being five I thought that was really neat and ran into the kitchen to tell my Grandmother who got angry and scolded me telling my "You're full of "cazzata" which translates to "Bull S****" and scolded me to my room. I never forgot that moment even for a second.

At the age of 24: I was away at collage and living in an old c.1894 house with four other students. For about two months at least 2 mornings per week I had a series of waking up and being completely unable to move anything except for my eyes for approx 30 minutes. Another thing was the "weight" that heavily pressed my body into the mattress, it felt like someone was on top of me. That was a disturbing times but it ceased at two months. Not ever was I into 'ghosts' but that made me serious about wondering if they really exist. I searched the old house at Humboldt State University's library and found that the 1894 house was built right over the ashes of a previous building. The wondering about a ghost faded as I was in an intensive program that needed my focus.

2 years ago: I woke up in my bed and looked at my watch seeing that three days had passed with no recollection of anything. I was extremely upset about it and went to my Doctor who took a blood test and everything was normal. I did not tell him about why I was so frazzled. In addition I had multiple dreams where I was unable to move except for turning my head. It was a very strange room with two other tables with people laying on them and again there was a being 8-9 feet tall wearing an outfit with a hood and shielding for the face working on the body to my right. I can recall turning my head to the left where small rectangle windows looking down at Clam Beach from I guess around 7000 feet, just a guess. During the two years I had multiple dreams like that.

The last week: The last night for the third time in the past week I dreamt of being in an underground 'lab?' or some kind of very large underground facility 'people' of two types. One type was 8-9 feet tall and the other was 'human-like' who can communicate using their minds. (I feel like I'm going crazy.) They were very calm and 'loving.' There are dozens of windows in the rock where the 'humans' would live, they would open into the rock. I would wake up and fall right back into the same dream. I have noticed new skin-marks and two new tiny scars.

I live alone, my family is in So. California.

Helicopters Chase Triangle UFO Around Santa Cruz Mountains

Report:
I have been debating whether or not to report this sighting. It happened on Friday, September 16th, 2011. (This is from my view in Campbell, CA) I was sitting on my bed watching TV at 2300 hrs when I heard helicopters flying over. I tend to ignore them since I live directly under the Moffet Field air path, but decided to get up and look out the window since it was pretty loud. It sounded like two or three choppers flying over. When I looked out the blinds, I saw a three bright white lights evenly spaced apart flying overhead with a plane and two choppers chasing it. They all headed from San Jose towards the Santa Cruz mountains (N to SE). I thought that was pretty amazing, but it happened so fast (they were all moving very fast) that I couldn't get it on video or any pictures. Since they flew over fast, I just went back to the bed to continue watching TV.

Then at 0000 (midnight), I heard the same sounds again, but coming back (SE to N). I ran to the bedroom window saw them coming back. I saw this same "triangle" moving fast back towards San Jose being obviously chased by a chopper. I ran through the house, grabbed my video camera and went out the living room patio door. I looked up just in time to see the object still with it's three white lights (still evenly spaced) flying directly towards another chopper. And in fact, the chopper had to make a hard left dodge to avoid a mid-air collision with the object. Then, the object and two choppers chased it towards San Jose (N). Once again, it happened so fast that I couldn't get my camera on quick enough to catch this event.

The reason why I have debated on whether or not to report it is because I have been hearing about Moffet Field testing a recon spy plane in the area. However, I did the research on it and found that the test plane is a little bit bigger than a Cessena, and in no way even comes close to what I saw. It was definitely a triangle.

Crescent-shaped Object Observed Over Redding, California

On the evening of September 30, 2011, while enjoying his hot tub, a man in Redding, California observes a crescent-shaped object flying fast and erratically across the sky.  He claims the sighting was quite disturbing; that it "was not normal in any way and in fact seemed more cinematic and unreal."

I was sitting in my hot tub watching the stars, jets and satellites passing overhead; we're in northern California in Redding right under the jet corridor from southern California and the Northwest U.S.

Many nights have been spent observing the skies. Last night 9-30-11 I caught an image of something flying south at a very unusual high rate of speed...enough to actually make me stand up.

The object was crescent shaped with lights moving through what appeared to be liquid without a specific geometric pattern. It came from the northern horizon at a very high rate of speed approx. 30 degrees off the horizon heading south.

What got me to stand up in the hot tub was that it began to turn east quickly in a 45 degree arc covering nearly one third the horizon line before it quickly snapped to a southern flight at a higher rate of speed in a slight "S" pattern heading due south where I observed it until the end of my observable horizon line.

The object was very visible, flew in what I felt was a frantic pattern and emotionally caused the hair on my body to stand up simply because what I saw was not normal in any way and in fact seemed more cinematic and unreal.

I assumed seeing something like this would be more interesting instead of eerie and somewhat threatening. This object possessed an immeasurable power that I can't relate to which stirs the soul more than ever.

I called my wife and brother and couldn't find the words that would convince them that what I saw was very very unnatural and disturbing. As for size it seemed to be somewhere between the altitude of passenger jets and myself..if this were the case then the object would be quite large. If it were at the altitude of passenger jets I would then assume it's size to be massive.

What bothered me was the motion, silence and hesitation of flight. It moved with purpose and this bothers me.

Report:
One the way home at roughly 8:30 pm in Turlock, CA on 9-15-11, on a crystal clear light. I noticed 3 bright lights forming a perfect triangle in the sky. It was flying too slow to be planes and the three lights were perfectly aligned in a vertical triangle. It was enormous and you could see an outline of an object. We looked at it for about three minutes.

My two kids got scared and didn't want to stop. We hurried home to look at it some more and it was gone. I have never seen anything like it but it didn't look like planes flying in formation and the three lights made it an exact triangle. It was enormous. It was something and it was huge.

I can't think of anything logical that it could have been. Other than three planes flying in a triangle formation very slowly with bright lights which is very unlikely as this is a small rural town in central California.

We also do not have any tall buildings or radio towers in that area. It is just flat and the sky was extremely clear. I am skeptical because I don't believe in UFOs but I saw something very unusual.

"Walking to the corner store. Looked up and had seen strange object in night time sky. "


On Aug 23rd evening 10:17 pm I was walking to the corner store.I like to look up at the stars all the time. I figure that, Not alot of people ever do.Anyways, I looked to the NW direction ,the sky was partly cloudy and a slight cool breeze the temp was about 70 degrees.

I thought the craft that I'd seen was a huge plane at first, but it had no sound what so ever and the city lights you could see that it had a non shiny surface the strange thing is..it looked like a square not a box, but a messuring construction square. The lights looked so way wierd like the size basket balls 500 ft in the sky, and had another outter ring around the lights slowly getting brighter then slowly getting dim.

I stopped to look at it to see if it was going to move in some other direction but didn't. it stayed on a NW direction..Like it was flying towards Castle AFB. which is a Federal prison now..About 3 minutes later..I think these jets came from Lemoore Naval Air Station, because they were 2 QF-A18's Hornets / the Nationl Guard base near me..nothing was flying out of their..and the only planes that they have are QF-16's and these jets were hot on it's tail..

I waited near the store for over 15 minutes to see if maybe the craft would come back..but never did...

Box shaped object with green and red lights at lower perimeter. Moving East, low and slow over backyard.

I awakened to use the bathroom.  I went downstairs,turning on no lights, then returned to my room, upstairs, in short order.  I went to the window to look out at the moon and the Orion constellation (I often look out at the night sky before returning to bed).  The night was crystal clear and cloudless and I looked to my left at the stars and moon.

I was immediately distracted by moving lights to my right and turned and saw a flying craft unlike any I have ever seen.

It was shaped like a box,square at the front with rectangular sides and underside. The sky was very dark blue and the object was black against it. The perimeter of the underside was lined with lights,red and green (alternating),that sequentially turned on and off,giving a rotating effect similar to that of the lights bordering a theater marque.

This object was large and very low.  I estimate the front to be thirty feet square and the length ninety feet.  The surface of the object was absolutely smooth,featureless and non reflective.  There were no windows.  The lights circling the lower perimeter were numerous.  I estimate one hundred.  They were not circular but shaped like footballs standing on point and as large.

The window through which I was watching this object was closed but The left side of my face was against the glass and I heard no sound.  This was curious because this thing was so close.I estimate the altitude at about two hundred feet but heard nothing.  Equally as curious was the speed at which it was moving forward.  Maybe fifteen miles per hour and no variation.  Its motion forward and level attitude also did not vary.

There was nothing above the object holding it up and nothing below supporting it.  Nothing was ahead of it and nothing trailing.

The object passed out of my view over the back of the house and I turned,stepped to the center of the room, paused, and then sat down on my bed. Looking back, this inaction and loss of curiosity is out of character for me.  I sat on the edge of the bed for a few minutes, eventually laying down, and slept until morning.

Editor's Note:  I am presently working on a case here in North Texas, where the witness has recently been seeing a square shaped UFO. 
The witness has seen this object 5 times in one week.
The object stays low, traveling at tree top or below treetop level, with red/green lights on the craft.
