I received this email from a pilot, confirming a report made by a witness who observed a white sphere flying over Aransas Pass, Texas, March 10, 2011.





"I was reading the post on your site by the person who observed a bright spherical object on March 2011 that moved from west to east overhead where he or she lives in Aransas Pass, Texas. That town is on the bay northeast of Corpus Christi, and it is about 40 miles south-southeast as the crow flies from where I live in Goliad, Texas.

The way that object was described precisely fits the description of an object I saw from my home in Goliad on or around the same day. It was traveling west to east around the same date. The object was a bright sphere of solid white light. As it moved toward the east, its appearance changed to look sort of like a smaller version of a crescent moon for a few seconds before it completely blacked out, like somebody turned the light off with a rheostat dial switch. It didn't go black instantly but turned black over a couple of seconds after it changed to the crescent appearance. I'm convinced that what I saw was the same as what they saw in Aransas Pass, which means it was pretty big, whatever it was.

I am a pilot, so I know what airplanes and helicopters look like. This couldn't have been a conventional aircraft because it was very big and it did not have the required lights for an aircraft flying in our airspace."

Report:
I was asleep and woke to a buzzing sound and snapping of static electricity in my room and around me. The buzzing sound seemed to be in the room with me. I looked at the clock and it as 5 am (12/22/2011) -- Stafford, VA. I went to the window and looked upward and saw a large dark triangular shaped craft slowly passing overhead in a South to Northern direction. There was a bright white light on each corner and the craft traveled with one point forward. A red blinking light could be seen on the bottom of the craft. The craft seemed to be making no noise whatsoever but creating a hum in my bedroom and lots of static electricity (my hair stood on end). I woke my mom and she looked out the window to see it hovering over the trees about 270 feet away (about 10' over the trees). I figure the width of it as it passed overhead and over the trees was about twice the size of the back (width of the homes behind my home) or about 120 ft.

I didn't get a photo though had my cell phone with me. I didn't have my video camera battery charged. But charging it now in case there is a repeat.

Odd thing. My dog, Boomer, a 125 lb yellow lab slept through this even though I was up and yelling at mom to take a look, etc. The dog never acts this way... very vigilant... but he kept quiet or stayed asleep.

I could do a sketch. So could my mom. I could map the path it took while in my view to a great degree of accuracy.

Editor's Note:  I recall a similar incident, where some type of large craft moved over my home one evening, while my spouse and I were in bed.  As it did so,  it emitted a deep humming sound that was felt as much as heard.

Report:
First seen over Gallatin Road near military cemetery. I was driving down Gallatin away from downtown and saw the object out of the corner of my eye. I slowed the car and watched the object come out of a thunderhead cloud, hover for a few seconds and then turn upside down and go back into the cloud.

The contrast of the white object against the black cloud made it stand out. I knew it was an oddity as soon as I saw it because of the maneuvers it made and the fact that it entered the storm cloud.

I was very shaken by the sighting and actually pulled off the road and called a friend to tell her exactly what happened. I felt nervous the rest of the night and had a hard time sleeping.

I saw what I believe is the same object about two or three weeks later in roughly the same area in the middle of the day. The sky was completely clear of clouds. I saw the object directly overhead and it had the same features (or lack of features) as described above. It flew overhead at what looked like a relatively normal rate of speed and then rapidly accelerated. It was gone so fast it looked like it disappeared into nothing.

I've had no other sightings since then.

This past February I was with 3 friends at my house at El Salido and Blazing Star Tr. Late on a Saturday I went with one of my friends to his house to pick something up while my other friend stayed at my house. On our way back (going north on Anderson mill rd towards Fm620) my friend pointed ahead of us at a light and was in awe trying to figure out what it was. When I first saw it, it looked like a meteor or something on fire like a plane was coming down really fast towards us. But it was big and very bright almost like the moon but yellow glowing. We finally got closer as we approached Anderson mill and FM620. Still trying to make a normal explanation for what I was seeing, but I wasnt convincing myself of anything but a helicopter or something on fire. Once we got to FM620 ready to take a right east we stopped because it was stationary and about 500 feet or so ahead of us but at a distance to where I still was having trouble figuring out what it was, I could see blue and red flashing lights as well as a yellowish orange light as if something was burning or a flame. We were at the stoplight and I looked around our stoplight was green, no one was moving (4-way light) and it seemed as if they were all focused on the strange object. I rolled down the windows and my friend and stuck our heads out the window to get a better look. I could not hear anything it was complete silence and I had a very eire feeling. Still trying to comprehend the object it started to move slowly and it was directly above us and for the first time I could get a good look at what I was seeing. I was shocked and in awe as if I was watching the movie Independence day when I saw a massive diamond shaped craft, that appeared to be about 7 to 10 planes wide, I cant really give a good estimate but it seemed bigger than anything I had ever seen fly. What confused me the most was that the harder I tried to look at it, it seemed to be almost see through like having some cloak or some kind of camoflage, but you could still see the shape and size, but also the clouds and stars behind it. Also as we slowly turned right at the stoplight going east the object moved very slowly over us and to the south at literally like 10 to 30 miles an hour, it was moving very slow. We were going towards El Salido about to take a left towards my house and I could see the object moving over the CVS nearby and the object looked very thin and it almost made no sense because of how massive the craft was. We continued on our way how as the craft continued its path south. When we first saw the craft on Anderson Mill rd, I had called my friend on the phone who was at my house and told him to go outside cause I thought a metor or a plane was about to crash. Once he was outside I told him to look to the Southwest and look just above or at the tree line, as I'm on the phone just speaking out of my mind in awe, confusion, and disbeilef, my friend spotted a airplane going south and mentioned to me he saw a plane. As I was trying to explain to him where to look he said "Woah man, I just followed that plane and it just flew above a huge ball of light," (as he described) and he said it was barley above the tree line and about 5 times or so the size of the plane he saw from where he was. He continued to look at the object but he to from a distance could only see a bright light as we did from a distance. Once the object went towards CVS he lost it in the tree line. Looking back on the subject I was so upset with myself for not filming it because my friend next to me had an iphone which i did not think to grab as if something was not allowing me to think to film it. (my phone did not have a video or camera on it) Once we got backed to my house we discussed what we saw, tried to call a couple of news stations, but they all thought we were crazy, and tried to find something that matched the description of what we saw online. My friend and I aslo sketched what we saw which was a diamond shaped craft with lights on the bottom. As we searched UFO images I came across this one that struct me in particular, because you can see right through it and besides a blue and red light where some of the yellow lights are on the top strip. It is pretty much the exact same object I saw that night.

Summary: I witnessed an Organic looking floating and hovering object. It moved right changing colour and shape. I was able to capture photos of movement as well as shape changing and colour changing.

Report:
I was at a cottage in the 1000 islands region near Kingston, Ontario and experienced seeing something very abnormal in the sky. I was sitting on a dock over looking a lake when the object appeared from across the lake and moved towards the dock. The object can only be described as an organic looking connected formation of lights that hovered about 100 feet above the lake. The object moved towards my location initially then moved to the right slowly, while at the same time it changed shape and colour. I remember seeing red, purple, green ,orange and blue. The object's reflection could clearly be seen in the dark lake. At one point the object even seemed to form a face and arms. It was not a craft or ship of any time was certainly not man made. But it was clearly glowing and and a defined image. It kept moving right before it dropped below the tree line and disappeared. There were two other witnesses with me, and one of my friends was able to capture several photos (7-12).

I have attached one of the photos that I have, and if you think that this is something interesting I can get the other photos by contacting my friend.

It was nothing like I have seen or heard of before. It was not a fire work because it hovered for several minutes before vanishing. I was a little bit frightened when viewing the objects but my friends were laughing and kept saying, "It's not going to hurt us." They didn't seem to be afraid at all.

Any information of this sighting would be greatly appreciated.

Report:
This morning about 10:30 am, I was driving with my 2 daughters south bound on FM1774 from Magnolia to Tomball, TX. My youngest daughter and I saw a bright light in the sky or possibly sunlight reflecting off of a metallic object in the sky. Sky was clear with bright, sunny weather. Object was moving slowly in an arc, in a downward motion, maybe heading southeast, but was hard to tell. Only saw it for a few seconds. It disappeared from view even though it did not go behind anything. It was not shaped like a plane, nor did it change size or color, or direction. Dont think it was any type of craft. Just curious if anyone else reported seeing anything and if anyone may know what it was. Maybe meteor?

Maybe just a weird angle of jet or weather balloon in sunlight headed away from us? It was very big and bright though, and seemed to disappear in the sky, like it had extinguished mid air. We lost sight of it and kept looking but never found it again.

Report:
I was in Aledo tonight, working on two heat pumps at my Mother's house. Trying to get the emergency back-up electric heating elements to work, for the bitter cold coming in January and February. I stepped outside to take a break, and do a little star gazing. I saw three shooting stars and two fast walkers in just fifteen minutes time.

Suddenly, as I was getting ready to go back inside. There was a very bright flash of light, at 8:05 pm in the western sky, at about 65 degrees above the horizon. This flash lasted about one full second, and was three times as bright as Jupiter. I said to myself "What the **** was that!"  The first thought that came to mind, was a meteor that hit the atmosphere straight on, and took a full second to burn up, as it was heading straight at me. But then, a few seconds later, there was another flash in the exact same spot. This time it was half as bright as the first one, and still lasted a full second. So, I began to count...and exactly five seconds later, another flash. There were seven flashes in all, and they were always five seconds apart.....exactly. Each flash was half as bright as the one before it. Until the seventh and final flash, was just barely visible to the naked eye. They were all in the same proximity of the sky, and formed a small tight circle pattern. This was no plane, satellite or the ISS.

My instincts tell me, that what I witnessed, was a space ship that had fired seven bursts, from the rockets or other propulsion system. The ship launched itself from a low Earth orbit, and flew out into space, directly away from my position on the ground. That would explain why the flashes were timed perfectly, and why each flash became less visible each time. This ship accelerated out into deep space so quickly, with each burst of light. That within 35 seconds time, it was beyond my eyesight of the propulsion flashes. This could have been a space ship built by humans, and was secretly embarking on a voyage to another planet or star system, and I just happened to glimpse the actual launch of this ship, from a platform in a stationary orbit. Unlike the ISS and more like communications satellites orbital positions. Maybe it was even the x-37B fleet that built this ship in low orbit, and launched it on it's deep space journey, from a reusable platform.

No matter how you look at this sighting. It was indeed an unidentified object, that was more than 100,000 feet in altitude and ended up flying into space, directly away from planet Earth.

There is no other explanation for what I witnessed, and I believe the small tight circular pattern of all the flashes, was simply minor course corrections being made, as it was being launched to a particular coordinate in space. I know that we have a secret space program, and that we have been sending astronauts to various planets and moons in our solar system, for many years now. But I am starting to get the impression, that we are also sending them to other star systems.

I am truly amazed at how many UFOs and meteors you can see, every single night in Aledo. I would love to set up a sky watch camera out there, if I can ever find the time.

I would love to know if any one else witnessed the flashes that I saw. I have a feeling they occur on a regular basis, and there is a definite platform up there, that ships are being launched from. Could be alien too. Haven't exactly ruled that possibility out either. But, the flashes lasting a full second each, sounds more like a conventional rocket thruster, or ionizing pulse engine. I will research the ion pulse rocket, and see if the pulses are at five second intervals. Then, it might begin to make more sense.

Lights In 'Diamond Formation' Over Round Rock, Texas- 11/10/2011

I received a detailed email report from a witness in Round Rock, Texas, who while walking his dog on the evening of November 10, 2011, saw 4 blue-white lights in a diamond formation.  He made note that the lights (object) maneuvered as if it was flying "reconnaissance".

The witness also stated during a phone conversation, that it would have taken a dime at arm's length to cover the object.  His dog did not seem to notice the object, as it was more interested in going for a walk.

The witness, a former Lockheed employee also stated that what struck him most, was that there was no sound from this object and no beacon, or navigation lights.  He also said that he reported this sighting to local authorities.

Hello,

Please know that I have never really been a believer in UFOs.  I'm 52 years old and have never really seen anything I would call "out of the ordinary" in the skies.  I am a real outdoor person too and at night look to the skies often simply because I like looking at the stars.

I live in Round Rock city limits which is just north of Austin but I live northwest of town [Specific location removed by SW/LITS].  Today is November 10, 2011 and it is about 9:50 pm now.  It is a clear and chilly night. 

I was walking my labrador tonight as I do every evening; time was about 8pm to 8:30 or so.  I stepped out on my driveway and looked to the west and saw at a distance what initially appeared to be aircraft lights moving toward me as if coming in on a flight pattern toward Bergstrom Intl. airport in Austin.  However, as it got closer, the lights did not resemble an aircraft and there was no sound and there were no blinking lights.

As the object came directly over my head but was still at what appeared to be aircraft altitude, it appeared to be 4 fluorescent round lights bluish-white in a tight diamond pattern.  At this point, I ran back to my front door to get my wife.  She came out and looked at it and she also thought it was odd; much larger than a satellite may appear to be even though at this point, it was still traveling in a straight line.  She went back in and I proceeded to walk my lab up the sidewalk on [Street named removed by SW/LITS] heading east of my house but keeping my eyes on the object.  The moon is almost full and in the eastern sky at about a 45 degree angle. 

Then the odd thing happened.  The object begin to move straight up in the sky and much quicker but it appeared to then bank straight back over doing a complete vertical "u-turn" and headed due west in the direction it came from.  Still I never heard any sound or saw any blinking lights resembling an aircraft.  As it went further west it grew more faint but then begin to move real fast in a diving angle toward the horizon.  I then saw it move back toward the south along the horizon and lost sight of it.  I proceeded to walk my lab on east and to our traffic circle on [Street named removed by SW/LITS]. 

The thing was so odd, I proceeded to call my younger sister who lives in Killeen and while assuring her that I was not losing my mind or anything, told her what I saw and as I turned away from the traffic circle and begin walking back toward the west, I saw the object in the northwest sky again and it basically followed the same pattern again except much further north of me slowly moving back toward the east.  Then as I talked to my sister on the phone, it made a similar move again banking and heading back toward the west.

As it approached the horizon, it went into a similar diving pattern and sped up.  When it went to the horizon, it was gone.  I have gone back outside several times now trying to see it but haven't.  I will go again tomorrow night around the same time to see if I can see it again.

I had also called 411 on my cell phone when I saw it to try and get in touch with Bergstrom Intl airport to see if they may have seen something on radar.  The operator told me they didn't give the number to the tower.  I got home and reported my sighting to Cedar Park police dept.  Since the object came out of the western sky, thought that maybe they would get more reports.  Cedar Park is about 8 miles west of Round Rock.  Our home is about 3 miles west of I-35 on 1431 going toward Cedar Park.

Again, I have never really seen anything in my life that seemed odd in the skies or that couldn't eventually be identified as a plane or helicopter.  This thing was different and maybe I'll never see it again.  Can you let me know if you had any other reports of this event tonight.  I pulled your email from your website and hope you get the message.  My cell phone is [Removed by SW/LITS]

Black Triangle Blocks Outs Stars Over Lee's Summit, Missouri

Report:
I was walking my dog like most nights. We were at SE 5th Terrace and Todd George Road.

We were on the Prairie View Grade School property about 200 ft SW of the school building.

My dog was sniffing the ground checking for mice. He spends a few minutes at that so I was just looking around while he did his thing.

I was looking up at the sky facing SE just to the left of the church. After a few seconds I noticed there was a patch of sky with no stars visible.

I kept looking at it because it was moving so slow and eventually it was obvious it had a triangle shape.

It was creepy because there was absolutely no sound and it felt like the object was more stretching toward me than any obvious movement.

It was getting larger and I felt it was more massive but I could see nothing but a flat black triangle against a fairly star-filled sky. It seemed like 2-3 minutes had passed.

I looked down at my dog partly to check on him but I was also feeling a little shaken and wanted to change my focus. I looked back up about 10-15 seconds later and the point of the triangle was in the process of turning from it's NW direction and within a minute was moving south.

I watched it until it disappeared against the night sky.

More Missouri UFO Sightings Are Reported For October 3-5, 2011

Almost 40 UFO sightings reports have been submitted to MUFON for the dates between October 3 and October 5, 2011.

It has been speculated that people were seeing experimental stunt planes flying in tight formation.  That can't explain all of the sightings.

Here are the most recent Kansas City, Missouri area UFO sightings.  These reports are unedited.



MUFON Case # 32443

It flew quickly, then turned, then hovered. There was then a bright light and appeared to be another ufo but with red lights.   

I was driving in a car heading home. I saw the object in the air heading away from us diagonally. It then turned in the direction that we were headed. As we went down a winding road we saw it hovering over a small field. I was very excited when I saw it. We turned around and it flew overhead then we lost track of it.

Ring of blueish lights 100 feet in diameter rapidly descended from western sky at 90% angle, suddenly stopped, leveled, hovered 100 feet over store roof, turned, flew north just above trees.

On Tuesday, October 4, 2011, at about 8:00 p.m., I was driving in the parking lot of Woodson Village Shopping Center at 63rd Street and Woodson Rd. in Raytown, Missouri, going west toward Apple Market, when I observed an unidentified flying object rapidly descending at a 90% angle from the western sky behind Apple Market. It appeared to move from the 90% angle into a horizontal position as if it were about to land on the roof of Apple Market. At this time it appeared to be about 100 feet above the roof of Apple Market and about 100 feet in diameter.

The object itself was not actually visible to me, only the lights. There appeared to be a ring of approximately twenty regularly spaced bluish lights with a second smaller ring of what seemed like four flashing or rotating yellow-greenish lights as if they were perched some ten feet higher than the larger ring of lights. I think there were also three or four other yellow-greenish lights spaced between the two rings of lights, but it may have been the same three or four yellow-greenish lights appearing at different perspectives as the object moved at various angles and changed direction. I almost discerned some black or dark structural aspects that gave the impression of a large disc weight as is used with barbells with a smaller disc weight centered on top of it.

As the lights first came into my view moving down out of the sky directly toward me, I thought it must be fireworks, but it did not disintegrate and leave ash trails. Instead it got clearer. I was really shocked and paralyzed with awe as it came toward me and did not seem as if it would stop. Then I thought it must be some kind of an aircraft about to crash, or perhaps a meteor, and you can imagine the thoughts that raced through my mind. I was quite calm and thinking logically through all this. I thought to grab my phone to call and say a final goodbye to family, but did not feel I would have time to make such a call. That’s how fast it was moving and how close it came. I was not afraid, but nonetheless relieved when it leveled off and hovered over Apple Market instead of continuing on towards me.

I reached for my camera, which I usually keep in my car, and turned it on, but the object suddenly turned due north of Apple Market and flew over the subdivision immediately north of 63rd Street. It appeared to fly just barely above the treetops and disappeared. In a second or two it reappeared partially obscured from view by the trees.

The entire sighting lasted about four minutes, long enough for me to get a really good look at it. I just sat in the car in the parking lot for a few moments trying to figure out what had just happened. The lights were so beautiful, like a colorful constellation, a carnival ride, fireworks, or Christmas tree lights. Once they did not crash into me, I really hoped I could see them again. As I mentioned before, I did not feel frightened, only exhilarated.

The object had not made any noise as far as I could tell. I have seen airplanes and stealth bombers and helicopters and it did not seem to be any of those, unless one were painted black or very dark and had a ring of lights attached to the bottom of it. I thought for a moment it might have been a police helicopter searching for a suspect in the dark, but it was way too big and did not have search lights, only the lights described earlier. Plus, those tend to be very noisy, and this object was not. I considered the possibility that it might have been some kind of projected holographic image or special effects for a sci-fi movie being filmed. If it had been a pre-Halloween prank, it was a good one!

I looked around to see if anyone else had seen the event. There were only a few cars in the parking lot. I only saw two people and they were outside of Apple Market, one was just coming out of the store apparently oblivious to what had just occurred. The people inside the store I saw through the window seemed equally oblivious. There was a man walking from his car toward the entrance of Apple Market with his head bent downward and he had been parked so close to the building that he likely would not have seen the event. The blinds at the window of Fantastic Sam’s were drawn and I did not see anything unusual through the glass door. The other stores were all closed. Only the bar was open, and I was not about to go in there and announce what I had just 8seen.

I sat in the parking lot until 8:08 p.m., and then I began to drive in north on Woodson in an attempt to get a glimpse of the object again. I drove throughout the subdivision north of Apple Market but did not view the object again.

I called only a few close family and friends. I was really concerned that if I told anyone else they might think I had become mentally unstable or was hallucinating due to some physical illness or fatigue.

I am convinced that what I saw was very real and not some hallucination or figment of my imagination. I had considered that it might be some kind of spiritual phenomena, and as appealing as that thought may be, I don’t think it was. I am highly doubtful that the object was made by aliens from outer space, but I would not rule out that possibility. My best guess is that what I saw was some secret military project of the U.S. or some other country, say, China.

I heard on the radio today that numerous independent reports of sightings of unidentified flying objects in the Kansas City, Lee’s Summit, and Raytown areas had been made. That feels like a validation, although I don’t need one to satisfy myself.

6 lights or so in sky hovering above the high way then got a closer look and it was a trangular shape.

I and 7 other employees that work with me were in our company van. we were driving back to lenexa kansas from lees summit /blue springs missouri area.
All of a sudden by the royals statium we see lights hovering above the high way I 70 we caught it on video on one of the employees phones.
It looked like it was about 5oo ft from the ground and in the shape of a circle but as we got closer it seemed to be a triangular shape .
There was no noise comming from the ufo . It had blue and white lights flashing all over . The lights were so bright it almost blinded me driving . It really shook us all up we could not belive what we had seen.

I was driving north on I-35 Otober 5,2011 around 8:00 pm, after I passed NE Antioch rd. I notice something hovering over. It seem like it was by Liberty,MO, it was a little bigger than a helicopter with white bright beams of light on the bottom. At first I thought it was a UFO, then I looked again at the object and saw a red blinking light in the middle so I thought UFOs do not have red lights,so I just assumed it was a helicopter. Then I got off the highway and lost track of the object. Then I heard on the radio about the ufo sightings.

40-60 ft Orange fireball hovered over my car.

As reported to Assistant State Director by phone yesterday:

"I was driving south on Douglass in Lee's Summit, Missouri at 9:50 pm and came to a stop at Forest street when a bright orange/red fireball moved over the top of my car from the back to the front and hovered over my vehicle, almost at exactly 90 degrees above me but slighly forward above the windshield. It stayed there for ten minutes. I was too scared to move, or drive on and just sat there, frozen, until it took off very quickly directly East. It was out of sight in less than five seconds. It was approximately 40-60 feet in diameter and aproximatley 60 feet above my vehicle. No other cars came by at that time. I immediately went home, just a few blocks away, went inside the house and locked all of the doors and windows. When I heard about all of the other UFO sightings in the area I thought I'd better report this. I heard from some friends that they saw something similar earlier in the evening and they said they'd contact MUFON, too. Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures. I was too afraid to get my cell phone out to take a picture, but wish I had now."

Huge triangular gray object with blue and white lights hovered over highway

"I was driving on the highway and getting onto an on-ramp when my husband, daughter, and I noticed a very large triangular shaped object floating or hovering over the highway. There was a triangle shape within the outer triangle, and the sides looked like they were about 15 feet high. The radio went off by itself and we heard only static, We could see a plane with a red flashig light in the distance above this object. The object moved around very slowly and other cars around us were slowing down to get a look at it. We opened the sunroof and watched it. The lights were all on the underside and were bluish white, with approximatley 12 or more lights on it. We did not see a red or green flashing light like you see on airplanes. I called a local T.V. station and sent photos to them. We have never seen anything like this and know that this was not a plane or planes. We see a lot of planes because there is an airport nearby, and can be sure this was not a plane.

I then called my father(retired navy) to ask him if stealth bombers hover and have gen and white less and he said no. he said that it might be a harrin. So I looked it up and it didn't look like it either. So what was it that I saw???

My granddaughter & I was headed to 3rd & Ward about 7:55pm on Oct 4, 2011. I saw a line of lights that were very long & straight across. They were not blinking. I thought it was an airplane, as I approached the object I realized it was not a plane. I stopped just before the intersection of 3rd & Ward it was right above me. It just hovered there. I had the windows down & there was no sound from it. I reached to open the sunroof but it would not open I pushed the button several times, it hesitated each time I pushed the button, I could hardly get the sunroof to open. I just sat there staring at the object as it stayed above me. My granddaughter kept asking me "What is it granny? Granny, what is it" all I could say is, "I don't know" I couldn't take my eyes off of it. I couldn't move to reach my cell phone to take a picture I was just froze sitting there looking at it. As it was above me I could see the shape of a triangle. There were lights that outlined the shape. It began to move forward so I too began to move I turned right on Ward then turned into Papa Murphys pizza parking lot. I watched it moved slowly over the building. While in the building a woman came in, I asked her if she saw it and she said she did not, but she was in the grocery store, Hy-Vee, across the street & when she came out there were people standing in the parking lot looking up at the sky & she wondered what they were looking at. After about 5 minutes we came out & looked for it, at that time a helicopter flew over us. We got back in the car, we started to drive west on Ward to the outer road across 3rd street. As we were driving we saw it again moving west along 50 Hwy along 470 Hwy we pulled over to watch it. It moved out of sight for a moment then we saw it again moving I believe East. My granddaughter & I were totally freaked out. When I arrived home I called the police dept to ask them what I had seen in the sky. The dispatcher told me they had not received any calls that I was the only one to call it in. I had seen sightings before. One in Piedmont, MO about 30 years ago and the other in Warrensburg, MO about 15 years ago. I tried to report the one in Piedmont but I guess I didn't contact the right people and the other I did not report.

I also observed the "carnival ride" sighting in Lees Summit. The actual cause was a group of small planes flying in tight formation. Each plane had about 6 lights and made quite a sight. I live right next to the Lees Summit regional airport and the planes were landing and taking off from there.

Report:
Was driving North on Todd George Road approaching 350 Hwy in Lee's Summit at approximately 7:50PM (best guess on my part, did not look at my clock). Saw out of my windshield what I thought was a large airplane with numerous lights (did not count how many, but best guess is 6 large blinking lights, with smaller non blinking lights in between...perhaps a total of 12) flying extremely low and without much speed. Very first thought (because of the size and how low it was) that perhaps a commercial jet was attempting some kind of emergency landing (quickly ruled that out). Next thought was that it was perhaps a few different smaller aircraft flying in formation, perhaps practicing at night for an airshow or flyby of Arrowhead Stadium (quickly ruled that out as well because of speed, appeared to be almost hovering, or simply going extremely slow). At that point, because of the speed, I assumed it must be helicopters; ruled that out because of how close they would have to be flying to one another, and the fact that I could not hear any noise whatsoever. Furthermore, at this point it was close enough that it seemed to be one solid object (although I freely admit my mind could have been playing tricks on me). The object was coming in from the North, flying South...again, extremely slow, and blatantly obvious, I don't see how it could have been missed by anyone that happened to be outside or driving at that time. The object then turned West and appeared (to me anyways) to break up into three separate pieces for a few moments, then join back together.

I am typically a very skeptical person by nature. From a rational standpoint my assumption is not that this was any kind of extraterrestrial craft coming to visit the Kansas City area, but rather one of two things:

1. Either this was a group of (somehow silent) helicopters, with absolutely the most insane pilots on the face of the earth for deciding to fly and maneuver as close as possible to one another. Or...

2. This was some kind of experimental aircraft, convincing me that the U.S. military has developed what I would consider the coolest and most awe inspiring aircraft in their fleet yet (blows the stealth out of the water).

Regardless, whatever it was, I could not identify, and felt intrigued enough to think about it all night long, and find a place on the web where I could report it this afternoon(and read other individuals descriptions as well).

I was driving from the UMKC campus after my night class at 8:10-8:15 on Emanuel Cleaver Blvd along Brush Creek. I had just past Gates BBQ at The Paseo headed north/east towards Raytown. I saw about a 1-2 miles away a V shaped aircraft with several orange lights VERY close to the tree line. They were not blinking. It did not appear to move like a normal airplane, it hovered. I first thought it was a large jumbo jet making an emergency landing in the location of 350 highway near 435. But the distance from where I was to where the object was made it too big to be a commercial plane. I continued to drive north/east on Emanuel Cleaver hoping I'd see it closer but I lost sight of it in the trees once I passed 71 highway. I used to live near Whiteman AFB when I was in college and would see B2 bombers and other military planes, this was nothing like I'm used to. It was too big.

When I got home my fiance told me he had seen something odd in the sky in Independence where we live. He was on 39th street near the Independence Center. He saw the aircraft hovering in the sky around 7:40-7:50 over 470/291 towards the Bass Pro shopping area (west direction). He said it was V-shaped with and had lots of blinking lights. He thought it was a plane but it moved too slow and circled around to much. He said at one point it went vertical and hovered then broke into three parts.

It kind of freaked me out that he saw the exact same object and told me about it before I said anything to him about what I had seen. That just struck us both as odd and not normal. Hence why I'm submitting this report. I've seen other reports through MUFON on a blog and those reports are similar to ours.

I would definately like to know if the military is testing an object over civilian areas without informing us or if this really is what I believe it is.

The lights were all on the bottom in a triangular shape. The size was enormous. To give you an idea for the size - it filled up the entire windshield of my car. It was moving very slowly in a North direction towards the small Lee's Summit airport. That airport is too small for large planes to land. I see planes in the area all the time but this was not normal. A co-worker of mine saw it too. It was flying very low. At first we thought it was a large plane, but it did not look like a plane at all. After it turned towards the airport, it slowed for one minute, then contineud North, which was left of our position, and it went out of sight. I am sending a drawing to the investigator."

The witness called me today and further stated that it would take a car to cover the object up at arm's length. THe lights were all facing downward. She said that it took off at a fast speed, then returned and hovered right over their vehicle. Her boyfriend took video of it with her cell phone and she is sending it to me. The object then just floated away slowly.

I saw a U.F.O. I do believe that we are not alone in the universe and I do believe in God. In my lifetime I have observed strange lights in the sky, I have read articles about abductions or eyewitness accounts U.F.O. sightings, and I admit to watching shows about area 51, Roswell and government cover-ups. Hollywood is alwys entertaining when bringing a new twist to the elusive E.T. ‘s that are watching us, snatching us and performing their tests on us. I am not fanatical about the subject.
I am going to recount the events and what I saw from my balcony. Many other people saw the same thing and reported it. I just want to know what it was.
I was sitting on my balcony, talking on the phone, I looked up as this enormous, slow moving, very bright object began to move over the tree line. I said I had to go, wanted to get a picture of this & my phone was dying, so I needed to get my charger plugged in. Then I stood frozen and stared.
It was Not a stealth. It was moving SE, and another smaller craft (small plane, helicopter?) was moving NW. At first I thought they were going to collide, then (it seemed almost awkward) maneuvered and I remember thinking ”the little one seems panicked.” It was not the normal amount of space between two aircraft. The little one disappeared, then count-I, 2, it flew over the top of the big one. This is when I remembered my desire for pictures and my dying phone. By the time I was back outside it had moved to the E side of downtown L.S. Then my phone rang, I answered it, plugged it in, and it was gone when I got back outside. THAT FAST!
The Craft- It was at least the size of a football field. I really could not tell what the overall shape was. It had two rows of lights that spanned the width and then under those lights were two more rows, centered, but shorter in width. There was a consistent pattern in the lights, that changed in number, becoming less at the center, but symmetrical, for example- Left to Right- 9, 8, 8,, 5,, 3, 4, 3,, 5,, 8, 8, 9. Each number represents the uninterrupted chain of “bulbs” each comma represents a space. The top two rows were identical. Sizeable space, then rows three and four were solid, no interruptions. I would say they were the width of 5-5. The lights seemed brighter, whiter than the little craft’s light, but I don’t remember them changing colors or pulsing.
I didn’t see the craft flip on it’s side or disappear. What I noticed the most, frightened me most. There was no noise. Not from either one. I could hear my cats playing inside, my microwave beep (my tea was done) and my neighbors talking.
My daughter was on HWY 291 with a friend. They both saw it. They had to lean over in the car to see the whole thing, it was right over them. The same daughter has chosen a caree in avaition, so we CONSTANTLY watch the aircraft in the skies. This was different.
October 5th, 1:30 pm. I called LS airport, to inquire. The man who answered said he had heard nothing about this occurance, that it must be some local pilots practicing their formation routine for an upcoming event (off the record, of course.) He said that I must be mistaken, that people mistake common things (weather balloons, stray kites, etc.) all the time. I responded with “doesn’t our local airport have a responsibility to know who is where in our skies?” He informed me that clearly I was mistaken, thanked me for calling and hung up.
I know what I saw. I made my next call to KCI. I was transferred four times to “someone who could better answer those questions.” Number five was an air traffic control person. He listened me but said he had heard nothing of this either. I asked him to google UFO/Lees Summit10/04/2011. I asked how so many could see this and KCI not know? I said “if it was confidential, then say it’s confidential, and I would shut up and hang up. If it’s a really big airplane, then tell me the model, but don’t say you didn’t even know it was there!” He reviewed radar starting at 6:00 pm. After about a minute he says” Well I see here there WAS Something flying in our airspace, but we weren’t talking to them” I said “HUH?” He got quiet, then said “oh it must be a 747 that landed at about 7:28 pm. He had nothing else to say. I thanked him and hung up.
I am not an MIT hopeful. I will never be a brain surgeon. I am also not stupid.
If it was confidential then why was it flying SO Slowly and SO Close to the ground? We all know what the Stealth looks like…a weather balloon? A little more tact when insulting someone’s intelligence is in order.
Yep-it’s unexplained. Yep-it looks fishy. What are they doing at our airports? Answers would be Awesome! I have low expectations.

Report:
Driving along I-70EB in Independence,Missouri, headed home after a quick run to the store, my husband and I, with our two kids in the backseat all saw strange lights headed towards us over the highway. The closer we got, we realized the object was just hovering very low over the cars moving extremely slow. There were hundreds of huge, extremely bright lights completely covering the front of the craft. These lights were almost blinding, and resembled stadium lights. We pulled over to try and take pictures with my phone, only two came out somewhat okay. Traffic was slowing and two ramps next to us were shut down due to a wreck we believe. Many were in the area and had to of seen it along side us. As we were trying to take pictures out of the window, the craft was over our car and began to turn south, no sound whatsoever was coming from it, dead silence other than the passing cars on the highway. The underneath and back of the craft didn't have as many lights as the front head on. It was gigantic,the front seemed rounded then boomerang or arc shaped as it turned(Not sure if it changed shape, but for sure two different shapes compared with head on to the back side of it) it took off a little bit faster, but still at fairly low speed(compared with airliners or even stealth bombers which would both be very loud, this again, was silent) After it turned away, my husband thought it broke into three separate pieces, I thought it was just so big, it expanded and the three brightest lights appeared to be separate. We tried to follow the path, but with traffic backed up, we eventually lost sight after a 45 minute drive. Definitely not something either of us have seen, tried to stay calm not to frighten our two little ones in the back. Would love an explanation.

THIS WAS THE CRAZIEST THING I HAVE EVER SEEN, I WAS SOO CLOSE TO IT, I CAN'T BELIEVE IT. I WAS DRIVING DOWN INTERSTATE I-70 WESTBOUND CAME UP TO THE 291HWY INTERSECTION THAT WAS BACKED UP DUE TO AN ACCIDENT ON 291HWY SOUTH. I LOOK UP AND SAW THIS HUGE GIANT OBJECT BEAMING WITH WHITE BRIGHT WHITE LIGHTS ALL OVER IT HOVERING IN MIDAIR RIGHT ABOVE THE I-70 AND 291HWY INTERSECTION. IT WAS HOVERING ABOUT 500FT. ABOVE THE HIGHWAY, I PULLED THE CAR OVER AND WATCHED IT JUST HOVERING. I ROLLED THE WINDOWS DOWN TO HEAR IT BUT NO NOISE WHATSOEVER CAME FROM IT. TOTAL SILENCE JUST THE CARS PASSING BY. I WAS FREAKING OUT AND YELLING I COULD NOT BELIEVE MY EYES WHAT I WAS SEEING. MY FAMILY WAS WITH ME AND WE WERE ALL FREAKING OUT. WITHIN ABOUT 2-3MIN OF HOVERING IT TURNED SOUTH AND STARTED AT A STRAIGHT PATH GOING SOUTH, I TRIED TO TAKE PICS BUT MY CAMERA ON MY PHONE COULDN'T PICK IT UP ENOUGH. IT HEADED ALONG 291HWY SOUTH BUT WAS MORE FLYING OVER THE CLIFFS HOMES AREA DIRECTION. 291HWY SOUTH WAS CLOSED OFF BY POLICE DUE TO THE WRECK SO I COULDN'T FOLLOW IT BUT I DID HEAD DOWN 40HWY WEST OFF OF 291HWY AND THEN WENT SOUTH ON LEES SUMMIT RD BUT DID NOT SEE IT DUE TO SOO MUCH TRAFFIC BACKUP AND TREES. THE SHAPE WAS LIKE A SMALL PYRAMID, DOME ONTOP BUT COVERED IN BRIGHT WHITE LIGHTS, LOTS OF THEM, THEN AS IT TURNED I SAW THE BOTTOM OF IT AND THE SIDE. THE BOTTOM VIEW WAS A V SHAPE WITH A FEW LIGHTS ALSO HAD BLINKING BLUE LIGHTS NEAR THE BOTTOM OF THE CRAFT. BUT THE BOTTOM VIEW WAS TOTAL V SHAPE NO DOUBT ABOUT IT. THEN AS I SAW IT FROM THE REAR, I COULD ONLY SEE 3 BRIGHT WHITE SQUARE SHAPES IN A ROW BUT NOT STRAIGHT IN A ROW, ALL 3 REAR SQUARE LIGHTS WERE IN DIFFERENT ANGLES. THIS HAS CHANGED MY LIFE GOING FORWARD. I HAVE NEVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE THIS NOR HAVE BEEN AS CLOSE TO ONE. I MEAN THIS THING WAS HOVERING RIGHT OUTSIDE THE CAR WINDOW ABOVE ME AT A 45DEGREE ANGLE IN FRONT OF ME. JUST PURE CRAZY.... AMAZING! I NEVER THOUGHT I WOULD SEE ONE AGAIN IN MY LIFE. THE PIC I HAVE ATTACHED WAS TAKEN WITH MY CELL PHONE BUT FOR SOME REASON I DONT KNOW WHY DOES NOT LOOK LIKE WHAT I SAW. BUT I FIGURED I MIGHT WAS WELL ATTACH IT. BETTER THAN NOTHING.

Report:
I was on Raytown Road and 63rd Street sitting at a red light. I was heading to a friend's house. I noticed the object because a lady in the car next to me had out a video camera and was pointing it at the sky. When I first saw the object I knew it was a UFO because I have never seen anything like that before. I am familiar with commercial airplanes and military airplanes and this was neither. The object was hovering over the Raytown Water Tower. It hovered for five seconds from when I first saw it, then it rose up ten feet flipped over and slowly flew down Raytown Road toward the west. I chased after it and all of a sudden it emitted a black contrail and increased speed dramatically and disappeared. I thought it was the craziest thing I have ever seen and didn't think anyone would believe me. A friend of my sister posted on facebook that her son had spotted a UFO in the Lee's Summit Mo area. After I spotted the UFO I called KMBC news and they reported four or five spottings of the same aircraft.

Summary: Undescribable UFO KANSAS CITY 8/4/11

Report:
My friend and I were heading to downtown kansas city on 435 N, near the I70 exit I noticed what looked like a very bright 3 lights that were blinking (first thought was that it was an airplane) until we got closer and the object was floating in the sky about 200 feet or less above. The lights now appeared to have different colors and there were about 7 of them in a triangular shape that somewhat looked circular. The objest was HUGE and just hovering above on the right side of the highway. It felt as if the object was so close that you could touch it. We drove under it and as we were passing it, it appeared to almost split apart (the lights were about 10ft apart from eachother and then they became like 30ft apart and it started to slowly move further north going along I70 but with loads of smoke coming from it.) We watched and seen helicoptors in the sky. At first we wondered if it could of been helicotors flying but the object was silent as for the helicoptor we saw earlier you could hear perfectly. As we were driving severeal cars on the highway were slowing down dramatically as it flew over. Please PLEASE Please if anyone knows anything about this please please post something! I am not a believe in UFO's nor Aliens and after seeing this I am in utter awe!

Summary:    BRIGHT SILVER POLISHED DISC STATIONARY IN THE SKY, THEN IT DISAPPEARED.

Report:
I am an auto claims adjuster for an Auto Insurance Company.

I drive daily approx. 100- 250 miles per day.

I was in Greencastle Indiana at the Marathon gas station at St. rd. 40 & St. rd 231, Greencastle. Met a customer there, wrote the estimate, then proceeded to drive south on St. Rd. 231 to get back on I-70 east.

I was driving south on St. Rd. 231 south, approx 3-5 miles before hitting the exit for I-70. Out of the left corner of my eye, I saw a bright, silver, disc shaped object that appeared stationary in the sky.

The object was located to the south east of my position as I was driving south on 231, toward I-70.

I would guess that the object was pretty close to the Indianapolis International Airport at the time of my sighting.

I am prior Air Force Special Ops, and prior commercial air line jet mechanic. At first, I thought the object could possibly be a plane that had a polished stainless steel fuselage. As I continued to view the object, it was not moving, had no noticable wings of any type, and was very bright. There were little to no clouds in the sky at the time.

The more I looked, the more I realized that I have never seen an object like this, no markings, just a bright perfect disc shaped object that left no vapor trail, and was not moving around. it just sat there in the sky.

As I continued to watch the object, it suddenly just disappeared.

It did not move off in any direction, it simply vanished.

I thought to myself, holy ****, that was a freakin UFO.

The first thing I did was call my wife. I explained it to her, and she then confessed that she had seen the exact same thing some time ago.

I asked her why she never told me?, and she said that she thought maybe she was just seeing things, and really didn't want to believe what she saw was a UFO.

Manchester, New Hampshire - UFO At The Park

While enjoying an afternoon at the park, a Manchester, New Hampshire resident, his son and several other witnesses observe a strange cylindrical object, as it floats along in the air.

Report:
It was September 30th 2011 that my son and I plus others had a very unusual sighting, in a N.H. park the sighting happened between the hours of 4-5pm in the afternoon on a bright non windy day. I had just purchased a new phone the day prior, so the afternoon of the 30th at about 3:20pm my wife had left for work. My son and I had decided to go to the park about 30 minutes after my wife had left for work. The park is located directly in front of our apartment complex building so we walked over to the playground where there was three teenage girls, and a mother of two little children and her father, I sat down on the farthest corner bench in the park playground and began playing around with the features on my new cell phone.

About 20 minutes later My son had approached me saying, “Daddy! There is something in the sky!” and then he pointed in the direction of what it was he was talking about. I said oh ya, just shrugging off what he said at first but then I looked directly in the direction he was pointing and I saw just as it was passing the first set of tree branches, the tail end of a solid black object slowly floating away. I then stood up and walked over to the other side of the playground where one of the three young teenagers was starring up at the object as well. I asked her immediately “Do you see that?” she replied “yes I do, What is that!” I then turned and ran towards the object. It was moving very slow and in a straight direction while rotating counter clock wise.

I at first thought that it was a garbage bag or helium balloon just sailing across the sky at about 20-30 feet up in the air. I could see this object perfectly and began to realize it was neither a balloon or bag and their was no wind present at the time to push it, maybe at 100 feet or higher but not 20 or 30 feet. It seemed to be solid but with a natural type of texture to it(hard to explain its features exactly) and a appendage on each end and a antenna or rod of some kind in its center but at the same time it seemed like it was light as a feather by the way it was moving through the air with no shaking or wobbling of any kind and it gave off no sound what so ever. I have to admit my son saw it much better then I, After this incident occurred I began to forget the objects exact features, but my son remembered it clearly and drew his own picture of the object and we compared. I have never been so freaked out in my life.

The object was about 4 feet long by 2 ½ to 3 feet wide and I Remember it was between 20-30 feet up in the air at first. If it was a remote controlled device it would have gave off a sound of some kind, being maybe fans or a motor but there was NOTHING! not even a hum. Also it had no light reflection at all and the sun was pointing directly at the side of this object. The sun was not blaring and there was some clouds but it was definitely a clear enough day for the sun to shed its rays and the sun was visible. You would think that a bag or helium balloon would at least give off a reflection of some sort. I had a hard time making out some of the exact details on the object, their was no perfectly smooth surfaces.

I then began to try to use my camera on my phone but I could not get to the video fast enough, by the time I unlocked the phone and searched the menu for the camera and started to film, the object raised itself higher and through the opening in the trees and just kept moving higher and higher in a angle but staying on the same straight course as it was originally till it was out of sight. I did not know how to use all the features on my phone so I could not even figure out the right button for the zoom.

I just want to add that the object was always moving in one straight path and the park is completely surrounded by closely tight trees at least 100 feet tall and this object found the one and only opening between the trees about 60 feet up and went through it with ease and all while staying on a straight path. (almost like its path was planned) By the time I started filming, the object was just a black spec on a bad phone camera video with lots of pixelation. (I do still have the video but it does not show much due to bad pixelation, Go figure). I rushed from the excitement and just didn’t play my actions correctly, I would have ran after it to try and film it better but I would have been stranding my 7 year old son alone at a playground with strangers and I had to let it go. It’s not everyday you see something like this and from now on I’m going to keep a GOOD camera by my side.

I have added a illustration of the park and the object, I also placed a picture of a person (which is myself) so that you would know the scale of this object and the height it was at from the ground up. I wasn’t actually holding my camera up until the object began to exit through the tree opening. The funniest thing is that after all was said and done (which was about 3 minutes or so) everyone at the park no longer said a word about it and acted as if nothing had just happened (including myself). But as the evening had went on that day it began to bug me and my memories the more I thought about it the more I lost visual on it but thanks to my son that just wouldn't let me forget about it I held on to the event. I think my brain was trying to play it off like it was a dream. I'm not sure who else saw it but the young girl I spoke to definitely did and I will be asking the others if I see them. It boggles me that I didn't ask anyone else anything right after the incident.

I have seen one other incident years prior but I just decided to pawn it off as a satellite due to it being so far away but now I'm reconsidering that decision. I'm done Rationalizing everything, I have always been a religious person at heart and this incident has really freaked me out(although it did not scare me when I witnessed it, I was more in disbelief and excitement then anything), but my son was not freaked nor was he scared at the least then or now, I told him it was just a balloon so that he wouldn’t worry and even at the age of 7 he knows better, he just told me “Daddy I have seen balloons and I have never seen one like that,it had a antenna!.”
