Unusual Activity Near Gilmer, Texas

I received an email from a witness (near Gilmer, Texas), who has been noticing some unusual activities in the night sky, including strange trumpeting and booming sounds.
Here is that report.  There will be updates.

We live in East Texas, close to a small town called Gilmer. Starting late 2011 we started seeing a flashing light in the sky. It comes from all around you in the sky. It is diffuse, you can’t see it straight on. It seems to come from your peripheral vision. Sort of like a flash blub going off behind you. You do not see where it comes from. When they first started they were faint and at first we wondered if we were really seeing them. Then they stopped for a while. When they restarted they were a bit stronger and have become stronger over the course of the last several months.

The next things we noticed is the traffic noise with the trumpets. We started hearing it on and off in early 2012 and asked a few neighbors about it. The neighbors have not heard it and said it was probably from the highway 3 miles down the road. We live in the country and the highway they are talking about is a two lane non busy country road. This road is never as busy as it would have to be for us to hear this kind of noise and the trumpeting sounds would have to be several large trucks putting on their breaks and horns all at once. So we are pretty sure it is not from the highway. We have been living here since 2009 and had never heard it before 2012.

Next we are seeing what look like very very bright LED flashes from very high up in the sky. We started seeing those about the middle of 2012. Sometimes they start small and get larger and sometime they are large and get smaller. When we see them they will flash then wait 3-7 seconds then flash one to two more times. Sometimes the second and third flashes are in the same spot and sometimes they are a short distance from where they are first seen. They don’t move from place to place but look like when they leave they shoot straight up from directly above you.

The next thing is the booms. We started hearing them hear about the middle of 2012. Sometimes they sound deep like a canon going off and there will be anywhere from 1-5 of those and can be from all the same direction or from several different directions. Sometime the booms are not as deep and may be rapid and as many a 10-15 or so at a time.

Next are the green flashes they stared a about 6 months ago. Sometimes they come from the same area of the sky and are very bright and distinct and other time they seem more like the diffuse flashes only with a green tint. At first we thought that maybe it was a strange type of lightening and maybe that is what it is. But there is never any thunder.

I personally have seen other things but am only writing to you about those things others have seen or heard at the same time I was seeing or hearing them. I am just wondering if anyone else is seeing any of these things.

Unidentified Object in Sky Over Granbury, Texas

I received an email from a friend in Granbury, Texas.  Here is his report.

Time: 05:20 (AM)

Hi Sunny,
 
At 5:20 am, on the morning of Sunday, February 24th, I witnessed a UFO that appeared to be a satellite at first. I was observing a white light traveling East to West, when it slowly changed into a red light and became engulfed in flames. I saw white hot, red and orange embers flying off of this glowing red object. As though it were a fireball meteor (Bolide).

The UFO made a hard, sharp turn to the South and slowly returned to the original dull white light. Then approx. three seconds later, a massive bright Pink light flared up from the object, and I had to block the blinding light from my eyes. The object began to speed up, leaving a pink trail in the sky.

Five seconds later, another bright flash of light and a colored streak in the sky.  This time it was a brilliant red and the UFO was picking up speed. Still heading due South and flying very high up in altitude.

Twelve seconds later, a bright flash of purple light and a matching colored streak.

The final flash of light and streak, was a beautiful Sapphire Blue and very low on the horizon. At about 25 seconds after the purple flash.

By this time the UFO appeared to be traveling at the same speed, at which it made entry into our atmosphere. Definitely under intelligent control, appearing to follow a purposeful flight. I could also hear a faint thruster sound in the sky, many seconds after the first three flashes of light. The final blue flash and streak was evidently too far away for me to hear.

I heard on the radio, that several witnesses called in to report seeing brilliant colored streaks of light in the East Texas skies. Around 2:30 AM, Wednesday the 27th. I believe they saw the same ship. Not some Chinese rocket falling back to Earth, as reported by NORAD and NASA.

I was completely blown away by this two minute event and stood there for several minutes, collecting bugs with my mouth! This spaceship was absolutely amazing and acted like it was picking up satellites, or something like that. Flew with complete impunity and acted like it had done this before.

This object was spotted directly above my house in Granbury.

Strange Light In Sky Over Meadow, Texas

I received a report of a UFO from a witness in Meadow, Texas.

My boys and I were driving home from Lubbock, TX to the country part of Meadow, TX. We were driving West on Hwy 211 when we noticed something in the sky at approximately 6:45 pm. We just watched thousands of Canadian Geese appear to be flying South. As we continued down the road, we noticed a jet to the left with a normal vapor trail. But to the right, there was a much shorter but thicker trail. No idea what it was. So we watched it all the way from Lubbock Hwy to Hwy 303 while traveling on 211. It started out as being a thick short white trail traveling in our direction. From what I know, I could have only assumed it was a meteor being seen outside our atmosphere. But as we continued our journey, we noticed that once we crossed Hwy 385, it appeared to be traveling in the same direction as we were. As we approached the road to our home hwy 303, it actually had by then changed to a light glowing red color like a tiny fire and eventually appeared to be traveling back up. My oldest boy is 14 and he and I are the ones who watched this intently. I just want to know if anyone else saw the same thing or if maybe our minds were just so bumfuzzled by the event that we imagined it changing directions and the setting sun gave it the appearance of changing colors.

2nd email:

Sunny,
This happened yesterday evening. It appeared to be about an inch long if i were to guess. We watched this for approximately ten minutes until we got to our home where trees then blocked our view. I can't say whether it was still visible or not after we arrived home. With all the meteor reports from Russia and the one over California, this is what we initially thought. But as i said before, it looked like it changed directions and color but we are not sure. It was very interesting and strange.

Photo Captures Beam of Light in New Port Richey, Florida

Time: Approx. 8:30 PM

I received an email and photo from a lady in New Port Richey, Florida.  After receiving the email, I called her to discuss the photo.

On the Friday after Thanksgiving 2012 the witness was lounging alone by a fire in her back yard, when she decided to take some photos with her Samsung Gravity II Smart Phone.  She took approximately 20 photos from different angles.  The anomaly did not show up in any other photos.

"I caught this picture the Friday after Thanksgiving 2012 New Port Richey, FL.  This was taken in my back yard.  I took several photos to attempt to reproduce the same effect, but was unable to."

It appears that the source of the beam of light is well above the ground but the photographer did not see, hear, or sense anything above her.  The beam does not flare, or taper; it has straight, clean edges and does appear to reach the ground.  It seems to be beyond the photographer's foot, well past the campfire.

The photographer also said that she submitted this photo to a paranormal (spirit-related) website but never received a response.  In my opinion, this anomaly does not appear to be spirit related, however, I feel it is more likely to be UFO related.

Flying Cryptids: Witness Sees "Strange Flying Bird" Over Birmingham, Alabama

I received an email from a witness in Birmingham, Alabama, who had a strange encounter with an unknown flying creature, while out walking his dogs.

I feel silly writing to you,but what I saw tonight has me a little shaken. Tonight, while walking our two dogs, I looked up at the moon and saw a giant bat like bird. I say bat like because of its pointed wings. It was huge! My initial thoughts were that no bird could possibly be that large and that high up in the sky. If I had not been staring up at the moon I probably would have missed it completely. The color appeared black or brown. It was dark in color. Easily missed in the dark sky.

This has freaked me out so badly that I've been googling all sorts of stuff that it could have been:(

The next evening he wrote:

It was larger than a man. It was more like the size of a small plane. It was huge! I couldn't tell if it had a head or tail. What I noticed was the wings looked like bat wings. Almost pointed like and webbed. I would have missed it if it had not soared by the moon. It was very fast.

I looked and looked tonight I have to admit I did walk the dogs a little faster than usual. I'm still a little spooked.

Please note that the witness did not give me the exact time, so I am not sure if it was before midnight on the 27th, or after midnight on the 28th, that this sighting occurred.   One thing is certain,  whatever this was it has the witness on edge.

There have been a number of sightings of Pterosaurs / Pterodactyls, also known as a Ropen.  These sightings range all around the North American continent, from Canada to Texas.  They also been seen in Hawaii, Papua New Guinea and Cuba.

What is it that people are witnessing?  Did these creatures survive the extinction of the dinosaurs and later, the Ice Age?  Or could they be extra-dimensional, coming into our reality from another time, another world?

From Pterodactyls; flying Manta Rays; Jellyfish; Thunderbirds and flying humanoids, to Moth Men; people are seeing not only unidentified craft but also flying creatures. 
I've seen some strange things myself, so I certainly can't laugh this off as vivid imaginations.  So, what are these creatures?  Maybe someday we will know for sure.  For now, we can only speculate.

Bat-winged creature seen by family in Washington State

I received an email from a witness in Washington State, who claims to have seen some type of flying creatures that made a meal of their cats. 

Now normally I would suspect the usual culprits, eagles, owls, etc., but the witness claims these creatures have no feathers, that their wings are bat-like and leathery, with claws on the upper area of the wings, allowing them to cling to trees.


In the first email, the witness reported:
We live in the Pacific Northwest on many acres of mostly tree covered land with a creek.  We have seen and heard a strange nocturnal, bat-like creature.  This thing is huge, light grey, skin with no fur, feathers or scales.  It silently swoops down at you with giant bat wings.  It makes a sound like a jungle monkey or bird, thus we refer to it as the monkey bird. 

We keep our chickens and goats, small dogs and cats safely housed at night, however two of our cats who sneaked out one night onto the roof disappeared without a trace of fur, blood or any evidence of what exactly happened.  They wouldn't run away, and our outdoor watch dogs don't allow any coyotes or ground traveling predators anywhere near us. 

There were two of them together and they seemed fearless of me when they swooped down at me more than once and returned way up to the top of the highest trees.  I couldn't get a look at the faces or eyes, mainly the huge grey bat-wings approximately 4' span .are what I could see.  They seem to show up every summer always after dusk anytime through the night.  Locals don't seem to know about them.  I might ask the local Native American Indian tribes to see if they know anything about these creatures. 
Do you know of anyone else who might know what these things are?   My brother and I saw another weird bat-like creature two summers ago that was also quite bizarre yet not like these huge ones.  We were riding our bikes at dusk and this black guinea pig sized thing with bat wings with holes all through the wings ran across the dirt road in front of us and under a bush.  We don't know anyone who has seen anything like that either, but we DID see it. 

We see regular little, common bats all of the time after dusk so we know what they are like.  We know owls, hawks, eagles and all of the normal flying creatures around here and these others are definitely out of the ordinary.

After talking with Lon Strickler of Phantoms & Monsters, who suggested it could be a Eurasian Eagle Owl, I pressed the witness for more information and told the witness that it could be as Lon suggested.

The witness reported back:
Thank you for checking with your colleague.  Are the owl wings shaped like bat wings?  Do they cling to the sides of the trees?  Do they make a sound like "Hooooowhahhhhhh, aaahooooowahhhh!  with the wah like the rolling of your tongue?   Also the skin on the chest and wings was grey, mottled with some brownish color like a Mexican hairless dogs skin, and it had like visible blood veins kind of like protruding on the skin area. 

Where can we find a picture of the Asian eagle owl and find out what it sounds like?  These might be moulting or sick or something.  We would love to solve the mystery, and know more about them.  Please let us know if you find anymore info.  Thank you again.

I also said: We have to rule out the plausible explanations.  If it isn't an owl, then what we have is an "unknown".  If you can get any locals to talk about it, they may give you some clues.  I will do some research but I need to know at least your general location.  The Pacific Northwest is a large area.  I lived a year in Tacoma (Ft. Lewis) but never even saw an owl.  Meanwhile, if you find out anything or can get a photo of these things, please let me know!

Thanks again for your help and research.  It is truly appreciated.  We are [location removed by SW/LITS] in a large forested area with a huge creek running all through it. 

We looked through and listened to all of the owl/eagle info and enjoyed it very much.  I can say with certainty that these things were definitely not owls, eagles, vultures or anything like them.  I guess no one would believe us unless they saw them and heard them.  These are real. 

They have huge bat wings with the claw type thing on the top of the wing that helps them clutch the tree.  It is true that they don't seem to flap like a regular bat would.  They quietly swoop and glide.  They sound like those african jungle monkeys and you can see skin, no feathers, scales etc. 

I'm sure these have got to be categorized as unknown.  Maybe someone has been doing some weird genetic experiments with wildlife and releasing them to see what the survival rate will be.  Maybe an environmental mutation. 

We will try to ask others who spend time after dusk in the forests, (if we can find anyone like that these days) whether or not they have seen or heard anything like this.  We will let you know right away if we learn anymore about this.

Report:
Here is what happened, normally I am not home during on weekdays during working hours, however my childcare (nanny) was sick and I didn’t have a back-up. Anyway, we went to the boardwalk so I can run a few miles and my daughter loves being pushed in her running stroller… sorry Anyhoo, I was deciding which way I would run first, I enter the Staten Island Boardwalk on Seaview Avenue and Father Capodanno. I turned toward the east and all of a sudden from nothing to a flying object that looked like a STINGRAY it moved like a stingray, it was the same color as a stingray. To me, it appeared to have like a light green and pale pink energy around it and it also appeared DISTRESSED…. It was barely moving and I watched it until it vanished…. It didn’t fly away fast it just became invisible, or I want to say transparent with the clouds. As I mentioned it appeared distressed, and I am not the only one who thought that because the police helicopters were searching, several helicopters for a very long time… I thought I saw it again over the Verrazano bridge, but again in a second it was transparent again. I could see the energy around this thing and it was amazing… Also, as you will be able to see in the photo, there was NO plane pulling it!!!!

Triangle of Lights Over League City, TX - Nov 4, 2012

There have been quite a number of UFO sightings around League City and the Houston area.

I just received an emailed account, from a witness in League City, Texas. The witness wrote that they observed a triangle of lights flying quickly across the sky.

The witness was apparently 'unable' to take photos.

This report is "as is", with no corrections.

"Below is an email I sent to a few friends after I was in my back yard looking through a telescope on Nov 4th 2012. Any help on what explains this would be greatly appreciated.


I was out back last night looking through my telescope around 730ish. I stopped after about 20 min and just starting looking around with my eyes trying to pick another focus point. Looking up from my right there were three moving lights, in a perfect triangle (one in the front two in the back), moving across the sky at a good speed but not fast enough to miss. It crossed my vision for a whole 5 – 7 seconds. Whatever I saw had no sound, couldn’t of been more than 10,000 feet up and had to be at least 3 times the size of a jet. It had no outline, shape or color. It was simply just three balls of light, they had no glare to them though. They just were the color of dull stars. Just bigger. The size or shape of the lights never changed and they moved perfectly in sync with each other. They disappeared from my line of sight as they moved further away."

I wrote back to the witness and said that I felt it was a triangular-shaped craft.  However, I could not say whether it was "ours", or something else.  I added that I would post the report, in hopes that other witnesses might come forward. 

The witness wrote back:

"That sounds great!

I have read into it quite a bit and have come to the same conclusion. There are too many stories that are identical to mine to put this as “space junk” or illusion, especially considering the amount of time it was in my line of sight. Oddly, I couldn’t get myself to pull my phone out and try to capture it, if it even appeared due to its faint luminosity. I was got momentarily in a frozen state of awe.  I have read of a theory that claims hyper charged plasma may cause this but what I saw wasn’t a flash of light.. It was clearly on track to a destination.

Katy, Texas Resident Observes Bright Light Ascend into Space

I recently received this emailed report:

Object description: Bright light

Report:
This Sunday evening I was in my back yard getting some fresh air.  A bright light caught my attention.  It looked like a plane with a spot light under it.  I thought it was flying very low for such a big plane.  It was dark so I could only see the light clearly but I could make out some detail besides the light. It was definitely  some kind of craft.  At this point I thought I was looking at an airplane.

Suddenly the light intensified and started gaining altitude at an unbelievable rate.  As it pulled away the light got smaller until it was just a pinpoint of light and disappeared.   From the moment the light intensified to the point that the light was no longer visible took about two seconds.

I looked online yesterday to see if the where any launches at the space center but saw none.   In my opinion even something launched by NASA could not accelerate and climb at such a fast speed.

I wasn't shocked by it at first because I figured there was an explanation for it, but after checking on the NASA site and giving it more thought I feel I had a real UFO experience.

There was only one light.  Probably about 10 times the size of Venus and about twice as bright.  Viewing time was 20 seconds or so.  It took 2 seconds to fly away.

Update! Photos of Meteor-like Objects Over Round Rock, Texas - 10/27/2012

I received an email from a witness who took photos of objects in the skies over Round Rock, Texas, on October 27, 2012.  Are they jets, or something else?

Hi,
   I was wondering if you have any info on air traffic or space debris that could be seen from Round Rock last night around 7pm. We were in Round Rock west at the Deep Wood Elementary Harvest Hoedown last night and saw something strange in the north and west sky. My daughter called me from the playground and invited me to come watch the meteor shower with her. I looked up and saw what I though was a plane far off in the west sky. It had a bright trail and wasn't moving at an expected speed, honestly it reminded me of a comet. I knew it wasn't and was suspicious of there being a meteor shower due to the fact that I keep a close eye on weather reports and had not seen any mention of any such events. I looked around for shooting stars and saw nothing. My eyes went back to where the plane was and it and it's tail were gone. I thought nothing of it and met up with my daughter. I asked her where she saw the meteors and she said they were above the school but were gone. She said she had seen several and then showed me some pictures on her phone she had snapped. That's when I realizes that these were not typical shooting stars. I'm guessing it was jets from an air show or military practice but I can't find any reports that support my theory. I'd like to know what this was. Thanks for the help,

Fishermen have daytime sighting of cylindrical UFO over Tradinghouse Creek Reservoir near Waco, Texas

I received an emailed report of a cylindrical object seen during daylight hours, over a lake east of Waco. 
Later, the sighting was corroborated by a witness in Huntsville.

Report:

While fishing at lake TPL (Tradinghouse Creek Reservoir) in McLennan County last Sunday 10/14/2012, witnessed a cylindrical object in the sky moving slowly.

We seen the object approximately between 1:45/2:15 PM.

Object had no wings, did not look like a plane and was fairly large considering the distance.

It was defiantly larger than a 747. It was heading south.

If you would put your hand out between your thumb and index finger it would measure around 3 - 4 inches long and ¾ to 1 inch thick.

It was moving at a speed of maybe 200 miles an hour maybe around 5 to 8 thousand feet in the air.

I first seen the object to my right at the 3 - 4 o’clock on the dial and I asked my brother in law to check it out and we continued to observe the object until 6 o’clock on the dial until it when out of site.

We witnessed the object for about 2 or 3 minutes.

We both agreed that it was cylindrical, no wings, cream color and moving slow.

It also seemed like it had sections. It was not perfectly straight like a cigar.

We were right at this spot facing lake.

This is an old aerial Google map* and the lake level is higher and now comes right up to the duck weeds.

Later the same day, just miles away in Huntsville, a witness sees a cylindrical object with no wings.  That report was submitted to MUFON.

I was standing at the at the back door looking up at the sky talking to my boyfirend, which was sitting in a chair cooking chicken on the BBQ pit. All of the sudden I see a bright glare out of my peripheral vision and as I looked I saw a bright metallic silver cigar shaped object. I then st arted yelling for him to look up. All I could verbalize was "it has no wings"! As I started to lose sight of the UFO I turned and ran through the house to the front porch and watched the object until I could no longer see it. He believes that the object was twice as large as a fighter jet but was flying at least Mach 2 at around 2/3 of the normal altitude of a fighter jet. He has always told me I was crazy. He was a true sceptic until that day. He said he does not know what it was but it was not a plane. We could not believe what we saw.!!

A witness emailed me a short report and photos of several anomalous lights in a sunset over Killeen, Texas.  She also reports that she and others witnessed a jet, which seemed to make no sound.

Large, flat, bright auras that moved about slowly.  Directly located over Fort Hood, TX.  There were up to 8 total lights/auras.  There were several very long vapor trails in the sky that were clearly from jets to provide great differentiation.  These auras were slightly brighter in the middle and moved slowly up and down.  The auras were bright and very discernible.  All but one disappeared over the trees into the sunset.  The other one went up slightly and then there was nothing.  I told my friend I was shocked that jets from San Antonio had not arrived yet when all of a sudden a jet flew within a mile of us from behind us and you could see the outline in the sunset, but there was NO SOUND from the jet......  Obviously no pictures the jet as we saw it and it was quickly behind the trees at a low elevation.

The lights were obviously unusual and am So mad I did not take video.  Since it was over Ft. Hood we thought it might be something unusual with the military.  When the one simply disappeared that gave everything new meaning.  The jet made NO SOUND and that was as surprising as the UFO.  It flew around us at less than a mile at very low altitude.  You can hear a mower from the area it flew over during soccer games, but no jet sound.

Investigator's Note: Is it possible that the lights were merely short jet contrails?  But then we have to take into consideration the other contrails.  We also have to consider the jet that could not be heard by the witnesses, even though it was no further than a mile away.

DISC OR MISSILE-SHAPED OBJECT OVER PANOLA COUNTY, TEXAS

I received an email from a witness in Panola County, Texas, who observed a disc or rocket/missile-shaped silvery object with a dome on top.  This is a daytime sighting.

Hi Sunny,
This took place in Panola County Texas on August 29th, about 3 pm. We, my nephew and I were finishing a pest control job and we were both standing outside when I noticed a bright silvery object flying about 5000 feet, maybe less. I thought it was a plane but I noticed it was different and I could not make out any wings, or jet trail. We watched it disappear behind some clouds. It was flying very slow in a northeast direction. Later that day after I had dropped off my nephew he observed 4, or 5 more of the same craft coming out out the same direction.  He said his daughter saw them too. I asked if he could better describe the object and tell me exactly what town he was nearest, at the time of the sighting.  He responded:

Ok, we spotted the craft close to Gary, Texas, just south of Carthage.  We watched it for about a minute and a half before it disappeared in the clouds. To the best of my recall it was almost missile shaped, with a slight dome on top. Of course from a distance it was hard to see if it was a disk or cigar shape. When my nephew saw the others he said they were missile shaped as well. Has anyone else spotted, or reported any sightings to you besides myself?  Hope all this helps, [Name withheld by SW/LITS]

8/19/12 - Went out to my patio to relax and think about a song arrangement I was working on. Lied down on my spa edge looking up into sky directly above my house. I have a fairly broad view of the sky from this specific vantage point (watched meteor shower last week from here)...

Our home is on an approach for planes landing at Love Field, so planes are often in the sky at various elevations. This was NO plane event.

Directly in my line of sight, I saw what at first appeared to me to be a triangle-shaped object silently moving across the sky. After about five seconds I realized that it was multiple (separate) objects moving together in a triangular or V-shaped formation (think boomerang). They were moving at a fast, consistent speed, completely silent.

The V-shape formation was broken however, meaning that one of the points of the V was missing a lighted object. Then I saw 2 additional lights further back and off to the side a bit that were also moving consistent with the V-formation group of objects.

Again, the whole group was absolutely silent. Based on my viewpoint and calculations, the objects were significantly high in the atmosphere. All of the objects emanated a blue color (about the size of medium-lit stars).

At about the 10-second mark of watching, one of the 2 objects (that were out of the formation) literally dashed into the formation (completing the V-shape), darted about, then dashed back to join the other single object. What was really, really freaky is that this object dashed abruptly at an extremely fast speed, darted erratically, then back to its original position.

I estimate the whole group of objects were moving around 4-5 times the speed of any plane. We have a lot of planes so elevations and speeds of planes are routinely easy to gauge.

I watched the whole group for about 20-seconds before they moved beyond our tree line.

This was the most amazing thing I have ever seen. Ever. It was nothing short of unbelievable. In checking this morning in the news, no reports have surfaced. I cannot possibly be the only person who witnessed this in a city of millions.

Even if military, the speed and movement of one of the objects was WELL BEYOND anything we know of in the public realm. NORAD, the control towers for two major airports in the area HAD to have tracked these objects!

NOTE:  I also received an email from a witness who saw up to 50 white lights moving across the skies of Texas City, Texas, on August 18, 2012, at approximately 12:00 midnight.  He and 10 other people watched as several groups of lights traversed the sky.

The witness indicated that he felt the white lights were outside our atmosphere.

We left out of town headed to Texas City,Tx for my brothers Birthday party...As we were at the party having a good time my wife and i walk outside..and like always look for ufos,but this night around 12:00am we get way more then we can image..It was a fleet of them flying in numbers up to 20 a set,for 30mins or more they came that way..we see them here at our place all the time one or two at a time,but never in this number...we call everyone out to come see what we are seeing...and like always some was denied what they were witnessing..A plane hell naw,not and that number without blinkers or were going to war,clouds moving making it look like there moving,just stupid,these were some of the what ifs..But i say UFOs..I just want to know if any one else in that area witness this...No lie

I asked a few questions and he responded:

ok,i was headed from east texas,Karnack Tx,to Texas City,but we dont see them till my brothers party that night, these ojects had to be out of space..there were some as bright as the eye can see and some so small u can barely see..headed south of texas city texas austust 18 2012,they were right over our heads..but out of space like...12 dozes of white bright dots and dill dots,right behind each other,some spaced out

What u think they were....there's no way we were the only ones who saw that..it was just to many for them not to b seen

If it was military why would they fly so many at one time,they were circle shape white dots,hell it was ten of us watching them...it was at lease 50 flying altogether if u really was able to count them,they came in sets of at lease 12,flying off in the distance,then another set come right behind the last...they were too far in the sky to not of been out of space..Out of this world, Yes indeed..

Hello, Sunny. I work nights, as a  resort security guard, south of you at Canyon Lake. About 3 weeks ago at 5:17am, I witnessed two flying orbs. It was predawn, and I was outside looking at Venus. Very low thin clouds were at somewhere from 1800 yards to 5000 yards up. I regularly watch big planes on landing approach to San Antonio, in this area of sky. Without a sound, this soft white orb appeared, directly in that flight path, but heading the opposite direction. A much brighter and focused spot light appeared from under the orb, pointed to the left, onto the top of a thin cloud. As the orb moved away, the spot made a short sweep and then went out. The white orb, still moving, then disappeared. 1 second later, a second orb appeared. It was at the same spot where the first orb illuminated, but just to the right of that spot. It was also a soft glow, but the color was a neon lavender. It traveled parallel to the path of the first orb, but when it reached the spot where the first light went out; it made an impossible, smooth right turn and vanished. This entire event took about 5 seconds. If I had not been looking exactly at that spot, I would have missed it.

In addition, the witness further explained that he was facing Northeast during the sighting, adding:
It is a canyon and valley, leading down to the guadelupe river, on River Road. Sattler, Tx is a mile away. My best, well thought out guess is this. Those two orb/lights would be larger than a house, and traveling at jet aircraft speeds. Pretty neat to see, after 50 years of sky watching!

Blue Light Seen Over London, UK - 8/26/2012

I received an email from a witness in London, UK, who along with his brother, saw a blue light flying across the sky.

At around 9-10 PM, London Time, I was sitting at my room talking over Skype with some of my friends, when suddenly, my brother starts shouting my name in a astonished  kind of matter. I didn't really bother coming to him, but then he added 'You Must See this', which made me no other option but to tell my friends that I have to go for a minute.

Once I've gotten to him, he shouted agian 'Come to the Balcony Quick!'. And now usually, In London the skies are cloudy at this time of year, and you can't see any stars, becides the one star, which is the south star. So once I've gotten to the balcony, I saw my brother looking up to the sky, and saying to me 'Look up, right there! See that?', I didn't see nothing at first, mainly cause there we're over a thousand small clouds, and small gaps in between them. But after 30 seconds of trying to configure my eyes towards the direction hes pointing above me, I finally see a Blue Light, in a Lined shape. It was about an inch long from my eyes in the sky. It was nothing I've ever seen. (It's the exact same light I've read on the blog! Link for that Blog is at the bottom of this email. I've found about your website after Googling if there we're any blue lights spotted on the 26th of August. And im writing in the morning of 27th) After closely spectating the lights above me for 5 minutes, I've managed to spot that on both edges of the blue line, we're switching brightness on each other, meaning one minute one ending is brighter, the other minute the other end is brighter.

I tried taking pictures of the strange.. aircraft? But My camera couldnt catch the sight perfecly for the camera to see, and the clouds were blocking the full view.

After spectating the lights for several minutes, after the right ending of the line from my view, released a bright blue specticle, it made me think as if Someone was trying to contact anyone. It was nothing similar to a satellite, or anything else, that was the real deal. And seeing that the same thing happened in Phoenix a week ago, prooves that something is going on!

Lights Over North Dallas, Texas Home - 7/28/2012

I received an email and photo from a witness in North Dallas.  On the evening of July 28, 2012, he and his wife witnessed unusual lights in the sky, then reported them to the local authorities. 

Here is his report.

UFO’s over our house

North Dallas, Texas
July 28, 2012

Our house is located in North Dallas [location redacted].  At approximately 9:40pm, [name redacted], my wife, went to the back door to close it.  She looked out and saw 4 bright red-orange orbs, in a V formation, moving in the sky.  It was a clear night.  There were 3 in a row with the 4th making the V to the right side.  She hollered to me to come running and I ran out back, with her, seeing the formation.

Trailing farther behind, were another 8 or 10 flying singularly.  I tried to take pictures with my good camera, but there was nothing large enough to focus on.  I had the wrong lens on.  I ran back in the house and got my Nikon COOLPIX camera.  It did get some pictures, but they are really small and not too clear.  You can see what colors they were.

I loaded them on the computer.  [Name redacted] called 911 and reported it and about 10 minutes later 2 police cars showed up with 3 uniformed officers and a civilian dressed woman.  They asked what we saw.  When we finished, they said normally the tower from Love Field or Addison Airport calls for them to be on the look out.  They said they had no such calls.  When we described the orbs, we explained that there was no sound at all from any of them.  Also, there were no marker lights or strobe light on any of them.

There were no regular aircraft or aircraft sounds of any sort in the area during this time period.  Normally, I can see at least one or more aircraft at this time of night.  It was as if they were all diverted or grounded at this time.  They appeared to have come from directly over Love Field heading NNW.  The whole thing took about 4-5 minutes.  It was hard to say how high they were due to no other objects to compare with.

When I asked the witness if he had any idea what the officers were supposed to look out for, he responded:

No, they just stated that they were informed to look for anything unusual, nothing in particular.  They acted like we were a couple of crackpots or something at first.  They seemed to act differently when we said we had the pictures.  They did say they would do a follow-up report.

I received an email from a witness in Katy, TX, who observed 4 orange/red lights in the sky, August 19, 2012 at approximately 9:00 p.m.

Last night around 8 or 9 PM, I walked to my truck to get or take something out of it.  The 4 lights grabbed my eye to the Northwest.  3 lights were higher in altitude and the fourth substantially lower.  There was no "pattern" to objects but, they were red and oranges (No Green) and were traveling rapidly and gaining altitude as they traveled. 

I called my wife out who did witness the lights but, disregarded it after a few minutes.  There were thunderstorm clouds in the area and after about 15-20 min. of watching them travel, I lost them behind the clouds.  They appeared too high to be military to me and I we did not see any green lights on them at all. 

I am curious to see if any other observations were reported int he Katy area around these times?  We do have flight paths in the area but usually from the West and the South.  The 3 lights were higher and traveling up and not in the typical flight path and the 1 was substantially lower and seemed to be traveling faster after about 5 min. of watching them to "catch up" to the other 3 lights. 

I have never seen these lights before.  But, when I Googled this I noticed that there are a few sightings in the area reporting the same thing and colors in the same location in the sky.

I received an email from a witness, who while vacationing in La Follette, Tennessee, saw bright orange lights in the night sky.

The previous evening, friends staying at the same vacation home saw the same (or similar) lights.  One of the friends provided the original photo.

I enlarged and cropped the original photo. I then enhanced the image to see more of the object.

I witnessed bright orange objects traveling in a meandering fashion across the sky. Sometimes the would stop and hover.  I could not hear engine noise.  I had three separate sightings within a 15 minute period at approximately 11:00 PM on July 14th, 2012.  A friend saw an object like this in the same location the night of July 13th.  She took a photograph.  I did not know of her sighting until I told her family about my sighting this morning.

My sightings:  I saw the first object traverse the sky in a meandering and sometimes zig-zag fashion.  It disappeared - I assume in the clouds.  Less than five minutes later I saw the object, or one just like it, appear and travel the same trajectory.  Both objects stopped and hovered at times.  The were very bright orange.  The second object appeared to ascend straight up very rapidly and in a few seconds it appeared like a pinpoint before disappearing entirely.  A few minutes later, two of the bright orange objects appeared together - again traveling the same trajectory.  They did not fly in a pattern uniform with each other.  They appeared to move closer and then farther away from each other.  At times they hovered simultaneously, and at times one hovered while the other meandered.  One disappeared in the manner similar to the first object I saw, and one disappeared in the manner as the second object I saw.

When the objects switched direction, there was no arc to their pathway.  Their motion was similar to that if a yo yo.

I was staying at my sister's vacation lake home.  The friend who took the picture on July 13th was also staying in my sister's vacation home.  She was with two other friends who also saw the objects.

[Best to be watched in full screen mode] Monday morning, in bright daylight, 9.00 am, 23 July 2012, this object was filmed above the City Center of Vienna. The quality of my mobile phone (Samsung Galaxy SIII) was not appropriate enough to zoom further in, but with the eye it could be seen as a rotating and at some points very very bright object (i guess due to strong reflection of sunlight). I had the impression it was chrome like metallic, but this could be too much judgement here. It was not emitting light, it seemed to be reflecting it. It seemed to have a high altitude. Rotating across several axis. Nothing below a a couple of hundred meters. More in the region of low flying passenger planes.
The object moved relatively slowly (south-east), at the start of the observation, then at 01.01 minutes (of the video) it shifts its direction rapidly (!!!!!) and then continued flying at this point in a rather more constant speed in a straight line south. You can nicely see it compared to the balcony of the building in the video. The more i watch that move to the side on video, the more it freaks me out. I could see it with my eye, the move was very sudden and swift, and rather not common to what i would expect from an object I know.
I continued to watch it with my eye walking down the street in southern direction. I could follow it for at least 5 more minutes.
I could not hear any sound. It was very surely no plane. No helicopter noise. It was not a balloon or kite. It was rotating, around several axis. If it was a satellite crashing, it would not have made a turn at 1.01 minutes of the video and gone south-west... satellites crash rather with speeds in the range of several thousand km.
Whatever it was...i am not sure...but it had me at "owkayyy". What was striking me the most, it was very very bright at points, so it must have a strong reflecting side and the rest must be also reflecting but not as strong, as it was always was visible but at some points very very much. I could see people on the street looking at it too and seeing it... You can actually see right at the start of the video, that when the camera is not in focus, that the object was pretty bright, when i started filming. It was really a bright blue sky with a lot of sun, and the object was extremely bright at some points.
Maybe this footage can be used to be analyzed some more.
