Rectangle over Eureka, CA

A few nights ago, on Sept. 3, 2015, my wife and I saw an object that looks almost identical to the picture above, fly directly over our house in Eureka, CA. It was low, maybe 500 ft, and flew very slowly. It made a very loud, deep rumbling noise, sort of like a jet, but without the high pitched whine that I associate with most jets I've heard before. It was rectangular like a cell phone, but the corners were cut off and had small round orange lights where the corners would've been, and one big red flashing light in the middle. I ran in and grabbed my binoculars and got a pretty good look at it. It seemed to be a light colored grey, and had curved lines that ran front to back from the front orange lights to the rear ones on each side. It flew with the long sides of the rectangle oriented as it's leading and rear edges, and the shorter sides as the left and right sides of the object...basically, it was longer side to side than it was from front to back. We watched it slowly fly in a straight line for about two and a half minutes, until it was too far away to see over the roof of our neighbors house across the street. It was really unbelievable. Nobody else in the area has reported seeing this thing except us, which is really amazing as it was so loud that it shook our house slightly, Initially, I thought it was an extremely low flying jet, which is why I went outside in the first place.

Daytime Sighting Of Square UFO Over Dallas, Texas 1-1-2014

A witness reports via comments on the site, of having witnessed a square craft over downtown Dallas, in a daytime sighting.

January 1, 2014 at 10:00 a.m.

"My partner and I saw one this morning approximately 10 over downtown moving east."

I requested more information and received this comment.

"It was 10am January 1. We were headed east on I30 @ the Beckley exit, the object was rectangular and appeared to be over the downtown area. It seemed metallic or reflective and moving too slow to be an airplane. It quickly moved out of view but when we got on 75 north clear of downtown you could see it off in the distance to the northeast. We see planes flying in and out of Love Field all the time and this was like nothing we had ever seen. It wasn't as long as a 737 but was taller."

Square UFO Seen Over Dallas, Texas

I investigated reports of square-shaped craft near Gunter, which is north of Dallas.  During the onsite investigation and 'stake-out', I did see peculiar lights and get some anomalous readings on my equipment but never actually saw a craft.

There have been a number of reports, of witnesses observing square or rectangular flying objects.  Even this investigator has observed what appeared to be rectangular, or square-shaped objects in the sky.

Are these objects ours?  Are they flying platforms, blimps, or are they craft piloted by unknown intelligences?  That's the billion dollar question.

Report:
We were walking the dog, and noticed a strange red light floating toward us, followed by a second light. There was no sound. We are used to seeing airplanes but this was not the same path and was definitely not an airplane. It was much to low. Then, a black orb was observed crossing under the full moon. Just as quickly the red lights just disappeared into the night sky. We continued our walk home and suddenly two more lights appeared in the same path following each other in a straight line, they too disappeared. Fortunately, we ran into another dog walking neighbor and we pointed them out to him. He watched one as one disappeared. Our neighborhood loop is 4/10 of a mile. I was certain more were to follow but none came. They reminded us of a red lantern, but not aware of any celebrations in the area.

Report:
Was telling some friends goodbye, after an evening of boating. Noticed an unusual orange glowing ball hovering over Clear Lake. Watched this for about 3 minutes, making move changes, but no noise whatsoever. Approx. range was a mile and one half. After several direction changes it disappeared. About 30 minutes later, the same object appeared in the same area, but a little further East. We observed it for a couple of minutes.Then it disappeared, like before. This was 10 times bigger than any other aviation light, we have seen in the area. We are used to seeing Coast guard helicopter and various other airplanes at the same altitude. This was definitely strange and different.

we were moving supplies into storage of our workplace. we were all in a tennis stadium so we pretty much had a 180 degree look of the sky. as i was placing somthing down on the ground my coworker said look and i looked up but didnt see anything. then he said look, look right here. thought he was just trying to make me look up for a joke but then he said look its an object. then i finally spotted it and it was a dull silver peanut looking object spinning at a medium rate of spee, going in a straight path. at first i thought of all possibilities of what it could be, a ballon but a ballon would more rather kinda float wobbly and keep rising. then i dismissed it as a airplane or helicopter, it had no wings or propellers. it was a constant spinning in a straight path and everytime it spun the sun would reflect off of it. was a dull silver till the sun would hit it, shined really bright when it did shine. Then as it finally passed under the sun, it may sound stupid but i looked down for a bit cause the sun was hurting my eyes then looked right back up, it was gone. when i first saw it, i immediately knew it was nothing i have never seen, and kept my eyes on it for the most part, till it disappeared. i was kinda in lost of words and in a gaze the whole time. my coworkers kept questioning what it was. lastly i lost sight of it as i explained earlier when i looked down to refocus my eyes. thank you for your time.

Report:
I woke up at approx 3.00am, used the restroom and was looking out of a large window which has a view of Cotton Lake and beyond to Trinity Bay in Chambers county, I noticed lights approaching over the lake from the southeast. The lights 10 to 20 were configured in a cigar shaped line, moving rapidly, heading in a northwest direction. At first I thought it may be a group of helicopters, we often see helicopters doing night maneuvers in this area. As the lights got closer I realized that they were not helicopter or aircraft lights. The lights were white/blue and varied continously in intensity and position in the line, it was hard to judge how far away the object or objects were from me, there was no sound associated.I last saw the lights as they pasted on the northeast side of my home. I wondered if I was seeing a meteor shower, but the sighting lasted about 30 seconds and was not moving as rapidly as I would expect for meteor, it also appeared to be close

Report:
It was about 5:00 a.m. and once again I stepped outside for a smoke. I noticed an object flying through the sky which I assumed was a plane, due to the aviation lights I saw on it. But after a few minutes I noticed it was moving too slow to be a plane, that and the aviation lights (there were three, two blue ones on either end and a red one in the middle of the object) were blinking randomly, not in any order at all. I watched it as it flew over me and that was when I noticed that it didn't have any wings, it was completely disc like. I was in shock because I have never seen a UFO in such detail. Here's the weird part though. I was completely transfixed by this object, forgot I was even smoking a cigarette and watched it as it flew over the tree line and out of view completely. I hate that I didn't have my phone with me so I could take a picture, but I even wonder if I would have being so transfixed on this object. I didn't even think about taking a picture of it until I had come back inside. From now on my phone stays with me and one way or another I am going to take a picture of the objects I have been seeing lately.

Date: Tuesday, November 13,2012
Time: Approximately 4:18 AM.
Direction of Travel: Due South
Speed of Object: Approx. 2,000 mph

Summary: Large object, possibly triangular, rectangular or saucer-shaped, moving rapidly across the sky.

Report:
Date was 13 November, 2012, at 4:18 AM.

Here are pictures of one of the UFOs, that I witnessed and photographed in Aledo during my 32 hour investigation. This object was huge and was traveling due south.  The glow on the horizon (in photo) is Dallas/Fort Worth. I would guess the speed to be around 2,000 mph.

The three photos that I did manage to take, were exposed at approximately three second intervals. Shutter speed at 6/10ths of a second. to capture as much light as possible.

There was no sound at all and it did not pulse, or change in light configuration; light blue, or purple sections with a red glowing center. Could have been a Saucer seen edge on.

This object was about 5,000 feet above all the airliners and would place it around 40,000 feet up.

The object Did not falter or waiver, make any turns or anything. Simply flew very fast and very steady, on a straight course to the southern horizon.

The craft had more of what I call "Hard Lines" to it.

I checked with the Weather Center and the Ceiling was 55,000 feet, so those clouds were very high up there.

Visibility was to infinity below the clouds, for any aviation controls.

I did see a slight red glow, on the underneath side of the clouds Where the UFO was traveling but the camera did not pick that up. My heart was racing a hundred miles an hour and I had a tough time holding the camera steady.

The house was directly to my right and that is why I could not follow it to the horizon with the camera, though I did run around to the side of the house, to see it travel on out of sight.

This craft traveled from horizon to horizon in about 12 seconds, at roughly 35,000 to 45,000 feet in altitude. My rough guess of 2,000 mph may even be quite conservative.

Whatever it was, it definitely was not not made in Detroit, that's for sure!

"Ring Cloud" Object Morphs Over Granbury

A witness in Granbury reports an unusual UFO sighting.  He reports that he witnessed and photographed a ring cloud, which then morphed into a rectangle.

10/21/2012

I was observing the meteor stragglers, from 4:00 Am till sunrise.
Around 5:15 or so, low clouds started to roll in and they were were very spread out.
The closer these clouds got to the Granbury lights, the more they were being illuminated.
I was getting ready to take one more twilight shot, in hopes of randomly catching a meteor (6:02 AM), when I noticed a perfectly round Ring Cloud slowly heading my way but it was still way too faint
for my cameras to pick it up.

This cloud was holding a perfect ringed circle, and all of a sudden it morphed into a perfect Rectangle.
I kept saying: "Oh my God" over and over again, because, this rectangular "ring" cloud did not fall apart at all! I watched the cloud travel across the sky for a solid 25 seconds and kept taking three second twilight exposures the entire time. Finally, after the rectangular cloud traveled across the sky for nearly 30 seconds and also spun in a complete 360 degree circle as well,  the cloud fell apart within a couple of seconds, then disappeared entirely.

I was still standing there, catching bugs with my mouth. Saying: "God, I hope I got that on film."

Report:
UFO !!!! A rectangular UFO was sighted by me near Hutto, Texas at 11:30 am today by Terry Lee Cochran It was very large and perfectly rectangular, grayish / black in color hovering below the storm clouds like a huge banner. I was driving toward Taylor, Texas on Hi-Way 79 going east. It was the size of a football field in my opinion. Moving as fast as I was driving at 55 miles per hour going parallel to it.. I watched it for almost 5 minutes in disbelief. Then I took action and took the very next road to intersect with it and it just disappeared! This is the 2nd UFO that I have seen in my life time. The other was in 1973 and it was hovering over the Decker Lake Power Plant near Austin, Texas. What a sight seeing it going zig zag across the sky then stopping for abpout 5 minutes to recharge then off it went at a blink of an eye it was gone. My wife [Name withheld by SW/LITS] witness it with me too and went to get a camera and it was gone

Report:
It was very early 3 am, I for no reason woke up and went out side into the driveway of my house. It was a still morning , there was what is known as coastal eddy at the time. A thick layer of fog or cloud cover with a ceiling of about 500 feet. there was another fog that could be seen off in the distance with a visibility of about a mile and a half. It was approximately 7 min. after 3am, digital alarm clock read 3:03 went I got up and went outside.

I was standing in my driveway when I noticed a red glow above and to the right, I then saw the craft emerge from the fog layer above. as it emerged I could clearly see a spheroid object, essentially a cube with the corners shaved off, I have sent drawing of it to the directors email.

Out from each side, top, bottom, right left front back, of course I couldnt the far side, but I could make out that there was a flame on that side too.

The nature of the flames(plasma jets) were unlike that of rockets, they were thicker as in more dense it whipped around slowly but was not exausting as our jets do, pushing out thrust, these jets as I say whipped around slowly like a cats tail except for the front jet that was being pushed by the head wind as it moved through the air.

The local news reported several sightings during that time, it was reported to be a natural phenomenon and not a ufo

Sighting Details:

I was awakened by a food service oil truck (recovering used fryer oil from nearby Jack In Box) and got up to have a smoke. As the truck was leaving I was looking to make sure of what kind of truck it was. I was a little upset because it was 3:45 AM and I had been sleeping well and wanted to know for sure what had caused the sound. As I was watching the truck move from West to East, lights from what I assumed to be an airplane caught my attention. The craft was moving North/Northwest and was within a quarter mile of me. It was almost directly overhead; perhaps 5 - 10 degrees to the East and almost 90 degrees above at first sight. I estimate the height of the craft to be below 1000 ft. There was absolutely no sound and it moved as if gliding. Steady lights (rosy/red) at the tips of the craft and random red lights blinking across the body of the craft between the two constant lights. It seemed that the center part of the craft may have been a window; possible occupants visible. Speed was reasonably slow, perhaps 50 - 100 MPH? I watched it for about a minute and a half until it was obscured by nearby trees/buildings. As stated above, my first reaction was airplane. But, then I noticed that there was no tail section, that it was just a cylinder with lights on both ends and =perhaps= a window through the center with lights blinking (not flashing if the distinction makes sense?) and I may have seen the movement of an occupant. It just made me shake my head in a sort of disbelief as I realized I was seeing something that I absolutely can not identify as a normaly viewed aircraft. Sighting Details:

I was standing on my backyard deck smoking a cigarette when I noticed a very bright star that was pulsating, then I realized it was actually moving North to South. When I first saw it, I thought perhaps it was a plane, but the lights just didn't look right, the color was off. I then noticed that there was a plane (very recognizable) moving south to north directly at the object. I was concerned because I thought maybe they would hit each other as they were both pretty well lined up, but as the plane got closer, that is when the object dulled then I couldn't see it anymore. I was then thinking ok, not an airplane, maybe a really bright satelitte? I then went inside the house to tell my husband what I saw, then I went right back outside and notice that there was a very round and transluent object that appeared to me about the size of a nickel or so at about a 60 or 70 degree angle, at this point, I am asking my husband... not quite calmly to come outside and look because I thought maybe I was seeing things. He came outside and he also saw it moving from the north to the south going directly over our heads. It looked very much like a jellyfish. It at this point had a pale white light emminating from it, It was very round. It went behind the trees, and my husband ran through the house out the front door to see if he could see it anymore, I went inside to see if I could find my phone so that I could take video. I found my phone, headed out the front door and saw my husband standing in the road, he said he couldn't see it anymore. My husband said that he saw it from the front of the house when it changed shape to more of a crescent, like it morphed and headed east. He said he thought he saw it turn red as it did this, and that he thought he saw 6 pale white lights around it, but not like they were attached to the outside, more like they were just a part of it. It moved like a living thing. He said he was thinking to himself "did I just see what I think I just saw?" Once it changed direction and headed east, it went past the trees in the neighbors yard and he could no longer see it, he said he wasn't sure if it was decending, or it just looked like it was since it was moving, as it was deceptive. We discussed this for a while after we saw it, and were trying to decide what we had seen, we thought of balloons and parachutes, ultralights, but nothing we have ever seen before, compares to what we saw last night. I do have to say that my husband thought it was more like the size of a pea, whereas I thought it was more like a nickle, I would more likely trust his judgement, because I think I might have been more excited about it than he was. He tends to keep his cool better than I do in highly excitable circumstances.

Summary: Ascended from Skinner's Butte treeline, looked like giant burning paper bag, flew over my apt., giant panel was visible when over me.

Sighting Details:

I live in Eugene, Oregon at the base of Skinner's Butte. I was taking my laundry from the laundry room to my apartment, so I was heading north. I was looking at the top of the butte because it is a spectacular sight; ancient trees from the Sequoioidae family (same as the redwood). Then, I see something that looks like a giant paper bag on fire ascending above the treeline. I'm not sure if the UFO was landed because the trees are covering my view of the top, but it was definitely ascending. It start heading directly towards me, making me think that someone was playing a really intricate, cruel prank and trying to catch my apartment complex on fire. But then, it never descended, it continued over my apartment complex. It flew almost directly over my head, but not quite, if I'm facing north, it was a bit east of me, but still flying directly south. As it flew directly over me, I realized that the flame was an EXHAUST changing with the wind and that there was also a large rectangular ship trying to blend in with the nights sky. The ship was changing it's colors from dark blues to black. It was trying to imitate a chameleon, but I'm not sure why the ship was fine with such a noticeable exhaust. The ship was also pretty slow moving, I cannot relay the speed exactly, but it seemed to me like it was moving around 5 mph. Another thing I am unsure about is the size of the rectangle/ship and how high above me it was. I know for sure that it was not high in the sky at all, my guess would be from 250-300 ft high in the sky. Also, I believe the rectangular ship to be about 40 ft long and around 15 ft wide. There was also a WOM WOM WOM WOM sound that I heard, however I am unsure of whether or not that was coming from the UFO, so I have been leaving that out when I tell family/friends about it. After it was around 100 ft away from me (heading south),I had two friends inside so I dropped all my clean laundry on the parking lot and sprinted to get them. By the time they got outside it was around 150 ft away, but it was still pretty magnificent because we all were lucky enough to watch it fly away. The UFO headed south across all of Eugene, so I am a bit confused why there was no news articles on it. I always tried to tell myself that the evidence was there for UFO's because of video's, articles, TV shows, accounts from two separate people whom I know very well, and people in the world who dedicated their LIFE to investigating them. However, there was something in my heart that doubted them still and I couldn't shake it for whatever reason. I researched military drones today (the day after) because I know that they are able to camouflage themselves well. I have learned that this was definitely not a drone or anything man has made. I also considered the possibility that the government has many very impressive weapons and ships up their sleeves that they are keeping secret, but I don't understand why a secret ship would be in Eugene, Oregon and why it would be flying so slow. Everyone that reads this, I SAW A UFO!!!! PS I'm sorry I don't have any video to show everyone, I'm just not the type of girl to take my cell phone to the laundry room.

About 10:30 pm I went outside to smoke looked, to the north east, up at what I thought was a bright star, a little brighter than jupiter was last spring, all of the sudden it move sharpley to the left (north) in a downward motion quickly then it slowly moved to the south then the veiw was blocked by a tree. I text my daughter about it! Next night about the same time went out to smoke and saw same object to the west, they are pretty high in the horizon. Wasn't sure it was the same until it moved, called my grandchildren out and we whatched it slowly move to the south east then stoped and suddenly got brighter and shot up into space and as it did so it turned to an orange ball just before it vanished, we saw a fast moving jet shortly after headed towards the exit spot. There was no objects blocking our line of sight, it makes absolutely no noise and I live by an airport and know very well the sound and looks of planes at night. Two nights later I went out again about the same time just in time to see it to the north get brighter and shoot into space. when it shoots into space it moves at a rapid rate of speed it only takes a split second, when it travels across the sky it's slow and almost as if it's floating and does change speeds, but always maintains the bright star like apperance, it is able to change directions suddenly, not sure of the distance away but it's up there. A week later I found out that some one I know that live a few miles away has seen the same object with her twin sister, she had told me the story before I told her what I saw. Have not seen it since that last week in August

Sighting Details:

My wife and I were walking around the Pearl District looking for a place to get some dessert. As we got to a four way intersection I looked up and seen this single red/orange light traveling somewhat slowly coming from the 405 bridge heading in a SE direction. I pointed it out to my wife because it wasn't blinking at all and had no noise. We both thought I was a helicopter because it looked like it was low and slow. Two more lights of the same kind and size were came into view following the same path and they were traveling closer together than in relation to the first one. We listened for sound thinking they were helicopters. No sounds at all. As the two flew over our heads they never changed dslistance from each other and travelled at the same rate of speed. A fourth came into view and was further behind about the same distance the first one was to the second two. As these three were now very close we started to hear a helicopter so we thought that the notice was coming from these lights but then we seen the helicopter was over 405 bridge and was 5 or so times bigger than these lights and it was a typical helicopter with flashing lights etc. The middle two lights past over head by now and would have been behind buildings but at the rate of speed they were going the fourth one should still have been in view. We looked back up after noticing the helicopter and the lights were gone. We went down a block to be a longer view between the buildings but all the lights were gone. It could have been nothing. My wife thinks it was r/c planes but there was no noise and how boring would flying r/c planes in a straight line be? Just a very weird sighting.

Very strange they appear out of no where traveling the opposite direction.

So like usual I go outback at my house and the time was around 8:00 P.M. so I started looking up at the sky since I kept seeing different shapes in the stars then all of the sudden I could see this bright red and yellow light glowing and hovering above the tree's in my neighbor's backyard. My neighbor's moved so no one was home but the object just hovered above the tree's. After watching this for about five minutes I got out my IPhone and tried taking a photo of it but my camera wouldn't work, on top of my phone it said it had no service but I do have a drawing of what it looked like. Anyway after about ten minutes I heard some weird sound like a door opening in space, I looked at the object and it projected a white beam of light at the tree's then turned off. What was weird was when the beam went off so did the yellow and red lights. I honestly don't know what it did but after about twenty minutes of hovering there the red and yellow light's came back on and it just started making a humming noise then took off into the sky.

UFO War over Atascosa County, Texas    

Night Sky Observation.

April 21, 2012 - Observation location is in Atascosa County, 500 feet Northwest from the corner of FM 2504 and Garden Drive. This location is between the township of Rossville, Texas (2.75 miles to the East) and the city of Devine, Texas (7.3 miles to the North East).

Observation time started at 8:45 PM Central time with clear night sky, no clouds, no moon, and very slight breeze from the East. Observer is facing magnetic south.
At 9:41 PM noted passenger airliner (the FAA required marker beacons and lights were clearly visible) approaching at a height about 20,000 to 25,000 feet Above Ground Level (AGL) flying from the San Antonio direction from the north and heading in a southwest direction, possible towards Lerado, Texas.

As soon as I lost visual on the passenger airliner low into the southwest, I picked up a single, white, flash of light. The flash was just a little bigger then the size of a normal writing pen’s roundness as you would look at it dead on holding the pen at arm’s length. The flash brightness was about half the illumination as looking at present Jupiter’s brightness. I am guessing this flash originated at the height above the mention airliner’s flight path by 75,000 feet or 100,000 AGL.

The flash was approximately 70 degrees up from the southeast horizon and about 50 to 75 miles east of the passenger airliner’s flight path. Noted time at 9:46 PM and concentrated observation in direction of flash of light. Within a few seconds noted a second flash of light with the same characteristic and at the exact location of first flash.

About three to four seconds after the second flash of light witnessed a third and final flash of light. I did not see any kind of craft, yet the night sky was so clear I had no problem seeing the flash of lights.

Internet search for this kind of previous sighting comes from Ufologist Mr. Ed Grimsley UFO Wars, this flash of light looked a lot like the UFO distress maker bacon lights as seen under Night Vision Goggle (NVG) night sight equipment (see reference [Link moved to Additional Evidence section/cms/tg]).

This night sky was very clear with Orion’s Belt to my right and the Big Dipper to my back yet there was no more light flashing from the southwest.

Starting about 10:05 PM I witness about six little white lights moving across the night sky; two from the east heading west, two from the south heading north, one from the northeast heading southwest, and one west heading southwest. All moved with different time intervals between each other to span about 8 to 10 minutes. All had a non-direct flight path and some moved in a slight ziz-zag motion. All six little white lights were passing higher above the passenger airliner’s flight path and possibly higher than the first mention flashing white light, say at 150,000 feet AGL.

Approximately 10:25 PM I witnessed a spectacular fiery meteorite entry into earth atmosphere. The meteorite burned red, yellow, orange, and blue at the core but had a gray burn trail. The meteor entered directly above from the West and deteriorated to the East, and the visible burn trail was about the length of six full moons placed side by side.

10:32 PM directly above noted a second set of flashing white lights lower in altitude and closer to my position. Again just three flashes with about 3 to 4 seconds between flash. Each flash became bigger and closer down from the sky and on the third flash, I was able to see a monolith between the source of the light and my observation point, See Fig 1. The monolith could have been producing the light or it had flown in to intercept the falling object that was producing the flash of lights. If we use an estimated height of 100,000 feet AGL, the monolith was the size of 1/8 inch in length (0.125) and 1/16 inch wide (0.0625) as seen from arm’s length at ground level or the monolith was about 1,040 feet in length and 520 feet wide.

I was so amazed in what I had just witnessed, I do not know how much time had passed when suddenly a white laser beam type light shot out from the exact location of the monolith in a slight arc path towards the northeast direction. The beam shot out for a short distance no longer the diameter of our full moon and seem to be aimed towards outer space.

After an additional hour of observation, no other sky activity noted.

The following nights observation (April 22 and 23) I was only able to see the mentioned 9:41/42 PM passenger airliner flyby and a few small moving white lights.

Rectangle Object Seen Over San Luis Reservoir, California

A witness reported to MUFON that on April 16, 2012, they (along with other vehicle drivers), observed a rectangular object in the sky over the San Luis Reservoir, near Los Banos, California.

Here is that slightly edited report.

I was driving west on Hwy 152 from Los Banos, CA at 7:30am. As I drove past the dam at the east end of San Luis Reservoir I saw a bright light above the hills on the west end of the lake. My first thought was that it was a reflection of the sun behind me off a low flying silver airplane. The light was not moving so I thought it might be a reflection off the tip of a radio tower. I was not aware of a radio tower in the area so over the next couple of miles I looked hard to see if I could spot on underneath the light. As I drove along the north side of the lake and over Pacheco Pass for the next five minutes or so, I lost visual contact with the light. As I descended the pass, I noticed a white car parked along the road and a man standing next to it with binoculars. Around the next curve I saw 4 cars pulled over, with people out of the cars looking upward to the south. I thought they had spotted a California condor or some other rare bird. Around the next corner were 6 cars pulled over. I had to know what they were looking at. I pulled over and looked up. There was a large metallic rectangle perched in the sky.

I got out of my truck and immediately began talking to the man & woman from the next car. Over the next 15 minutes we talked about everything we saw, so I know we all saw the same thing and had the same questions.

I saw a large rectangle floating in the sky at roughly 60 degrees up from the horizon. I estimate that the rectangle was half a mile or less from us, 80 feet high and 50 feet wide. The side facing us was silver metallic
in color. It was highly reflective, like Mylar. It was silvery except when it reflected the sun at us. The bursts of reflection were sporadic as though there was equipment or a texture of some sort on the surface.

The object was stationary and silent. We looked for wings and balloons, and listened for motors. We saw no means of propulsion or levitation with which we were familiar. After a few minutes, perhaps 5, the object began to rotate. As it rotated 90 degrees, we saw that the side was very narrow and black. It rotated a little more and we saw that the back was also black in color. The narrow side showed us that the overall shape of the object was similar to a mattress or paperback book. The corners and edges were crisp like a book rather than rounded like a mattress. Given my estimate of a 50x80 foot object, I estimate that the thickness was about 5 feet.

Once the object rotated we observed that it was moving slowly toward the southwest. The winds were blowing gently in that direction, so it is possible that the object was drifting with the wind. We continued to look, almost compulsively, for evidence of a helium-filled balloon. The object did not appear to change its elevation.

After 10 minutes the object had moved far enough away from us that it was a small black speck with one small bright reflective spot. At this point the man and his wife left. I watched the object 5 minutes more, until 8:00AM, and then left. Its appearance did not change again.

The object could have been a giant book shaped balloon filled with helium made of silver and black Mylar. The hurdles to this possibility are: 1) a very odd shape and orientation for a balloon, 2) object did not appear to flex or otherwise react to the wind, 3) there is no apparent source of a 20,000cf balloon that would only have risen to 400-800 yards near San Luis Reservoir (closest towns are 20 miles east and 20 miles west) 4) object rotated 90 degrees then stopped rather than continuing its rotation from angular momentum, 5) the edges appeared crisp like metal rather than puffy like a Mylar balloon.

I was working in the back yard installing wall motions lights at my residence shortly after dusk. As I glanced up to the sky, I had noticed a square box as large as a SUV.On each corner it had a bright light shinning straight down and a red light in the center was flashing.It was moving in a straight line.It was moving too fast to be a blimp and too slow to be an airplane. I heard no noise coming from it. I ran across my backyard keeping my eye focused on it as it continued to move EAST until I lost sight of it. After it was out from my sight, I tried to reason as to what it was that I had just seen, but logically I could not decipher what it could have been. But I am certain I know what it was not.Even though I believe of the possiblity of UFOs I was too embaraced to share my experience with co-workers.

I immediately went inside to get my telescope. I got a view of the craft. My wife and I took turns looking at it.... It was triangle in shape and could see 6 lights around the craft. It just hovered for about 15 minutes and then shifted about 7 to 10 mils to the right. It looks small, about the size of and asprin. It is still out there as i type this, but I do not have a camera.... someone please contact me... this is not the first time my wife and I have seen it.

Report:
The object first appeared as bright planet however none identified in area of sky. I tried to use my go-to telescope to identify it as a planet but my telescope did not recognize the object as anything defined in its database. At first it was stationary and appeared high in southern sky and in same proximity as the moon during that time of the evening. It slowly descended in a northernly direction. The object then hovered to the west of my ranch for 30 minutes and occasionally moved in a quick, abrupt fashion, both up and down and side to side. I would describe the object as orb like, with bright red and orange glow. My property is located in the BMOA (Brownwood Military Operations Area)and I routinely see jet fighters and helicopters performing exercises in the area. During these events there is much noise from the engines. This object made no sound as it moved. Te craft slowly traveled to the west which is in the same direction of Dyess AFB in Abilene, Texas.

The object again appeared the following night, December 31st approximately the same time in the evening (8pm) and acted in a similar fashion. I do not believe the object to be a weather balloon as it was giving off its own light not reflecting light from another source. The object seemed to hover above the tree line about 150- 200 feet. No other aircraft in the area at the time either military or civilian.

I tried to use my call phone camera to take pictures however the craft was about a half mile from my location and therefore nothing appeared in the pictures which i took.

I was pulling out of my subdivision Stonebridge Crossing, turned east on Virginia Ave when I saw a low hovering amber/gold blow about 100 - 200 feet above the trees. The light first appeared round then looked to flowing like it had a tail. Initially I thought the Home Builder had a balloon floating in the air, but there were no stings or flags coming down to a fixed point on the ground. The light was no blinking and way too big for a helicopter and was no way an airplane b/c was too low to the ground a stationary. On the night of the event it was cold out, with low cloud cover. As I approached the stop light at Virginia and Lake Forest Blvd I noticed the light had moved a little bit for where it was orig. stationed. Once I stopped at the light, the object's light turned off and a HUGE black triangle shaped object appeared with no lights, no sign of any engines, blades, etc., and made absolutely no sound. I had all my windows down and sunroof so I could clearly make out the dark object hovering there completely still. The black object hovered high enough to not reflect any ground lights, but low enough to not reflect any light reflecting off the low cloud cover. The object was blacker than the night sky that would appear between the cloud cover as the clouds raced eastward. It hovered there for about 15 - 20 seconds and then moved in a straight line East/North East with out a sound; completely stealth. I could make out the black object as it moved East/Northeast because it was darker than the sky and the clouds. Once the light turned green I crossed Lake Forest blvd traveling east, raced down the small hill and up to the top of the Hill where I had a great view of the sky and the area the object traveled, but it was no where in sight.

The object traveled on a complete straight path, like it was flying on a perfect flat plane with no swaying. It's like object put out a mast and sailed with the wind in a complete straight path with no wavering or sound. I couldn't believe what I saw and tried several drive to several hill tops that give me a clear view of the night sky and the huge object was no where to be seen.

What I saw that night has bugged me for months and months and I'd love to know what I saw that night. Whatever it was defined all logic and any technology I'm aware of.

The object appeared out of the tree-line and caught my friend and Is attention immediately because it was extremely bright. The light coming from it had a brownish hue and was at least 20 times brighter than any plane light in the sky. The light was constant and there were no flashing lights coming from it, as is required after dark. The UFO hovered north, before slowly stopping, then heading the opposite way, keeping a precisely consistent altitude and distance from my location. I am not aware of any man made machinery that is capable of such a maneuver. The object slipped back into the tree-line, and since we were in a car, I tried to drive and get a better view. About 20 seconds later, when I had a clear view of the horizon, it was nowhere to be seen.

2 days before there was an earthquake in Okla. 1 day before I felt a tremor at my house. We live in the country in a rural area. That night i was watching T.V. and heard a slight rumble, so I went outside on my back porch. I noticed a light to the northwest just above the tree line, behind our neighbors house. I thought it might be a helicopter with a spot light. The light began to rise and hover, coming toward me. The object was about 100 directly over me, when I realized it wasnt anything man-made. It was about the size of a B 52 bomber. It was a boomerang shape with a huge white glowing light in the front, on the bottom was 2 triangle shaped lights, one was red and one was green. Both were blinking in alternating pattern. The triangle shaped lights that were red and green were unlike any lights Ive ever seen. The sound it made was a quiet rumble, unlike any engine sound Ive ever heard. When it was directly over me, it hovered for about 15 seconds, which scared me to death. I jumped under the porch in fear. Then realized I had to see more. I came back out to see it start to move over our house toward the east, I ran inside the house to wake up my wife, who was asleep and didnt get up. I went back outside and watched it go over my inlaws house and hover over a gas well across the street. still heading East, it disappeared over the trees. I saw something shoot across the sky to the north and never seen it again. when this occurred my feelings were excited and horrified. While the UFO was over me, I felt frozen, like I couldnt move a muscle. Since the incident, I am still having unbelievable fears and excitement, which are undescribable. I would love to talk with anyone who has had a similar experience or has knowledge in this area.

My TV went out and I had just died in the Oblivion 4 game I was playing, so I decided to go to bed, but before I went to bed I decided to put out our 4 boston terriers. As soon as I walked outside in my backyard with them and I saw the object heading right at me. Very long the length of a football field but the width was Id say about 40 feet long, very rectagular shaped flat front divided in 3 sections top section all lit up in white neon lighting had five smaller rectangle shapes, middle and bottom had the same with larger rectangles but all the same in length, the object had a flat nose and a flat back. The object made no noise it came from the east just about 50 ft above the treetops heading West. The bottom of the ship was pitch black with neon white light outlining the ship. Ive seen blimps and know what they sound like this was no blimp and it was moving way to quickly to be one and made no sound. The whole sighting lasted less than 30 seconds and it was gone. It cleared the treetops in my backyard flew right over me and my house heading west lost sight of it when it flew over the house. I felt kind of awestruck seeing the object, but the next day I had trouble with my equalibrium and fell in the kitchen. Not one of our dogs left the porch while the object was flying over, but when it passed they all went out in the yard.

I got up and went to the window and a second object appeared. It was about 40 degrees above the horizon, and it appeared to be moving from north to south. It was much larger than a star and its surface was covered with twinkling red/yellow/orange lights. It had an irregular outline. We watched this object for a couple of minutes, and then it also faded out. A third object then appeared. I got the camera and started getting dress to go on the downstairs south patio. The third light faded, and a fourth appeared. I went on the patio and took a nice picture of this object shortly before it faded.

We are near Holloman AFB, and we have seen the strings of orange flares which the Air Force uses. These were distinctly different. The picture shows two objects one above the other. They are connected by a fuzzy irregular tubular structure. I concede that the lower object could be a burning smoking fragment sloughed off of a main flare, but, if so, then it is like no flare that I have ever seen before. Also, these were close enough and bright enough that we should have seen the supporting parachute. I hope to see them again.

The camera is a Panasonic DMC-ZS3 in the Sports Scene Mode and 12X zoom.

My girlfriend and I were on our way to visit family Christmas morning. I was driving ? she was the passenger, and we were traveling South East on Route 23 through Valley Forge National Park. As we approached the intersection near the park's Visitor Center, I looked up (towards the Visitor Center and over the outer line defense of the park) and saw a shiny, reflective, almost chrome looking object in the sky. It was spherical, maybe egg-shaped and appeared to be stationary in the sky. It looked a little like an old bubble-style helicopter fuselage...but not. I asked my girlfriend jokingly if she wanted to bet if the object was an aircraft or a UFO. We watched the object for a few seconds. I had to keep an eye on the road since I was on a curving hill coming up on an intersection, but my girlfriend was watching the object while fumbling for her camera phone. Small tree tops obstructed my view for less than a second, and then the object was completely gone. I think it shot off in a North Western direction, but I cannot be sure. It was there one second and completely gone the next. My girlfriend was not able to get a shot off with her camera phone before the object took off/vanished. It should be noted that this sighting took place less than 2 miles from a Lockheed Martin facility.

Report:
I was out on my front porch with my sister and it faces the north and east. I saw what at first assumed was a plane because i see them all of the time. I immediately noticed the object was a bright orange color that has no definite shape other than being smallish and round-oval. as soon as i noticed the color of the object, i then saw another similar object come into view right behind the first one. it all happened pretty quick, but i was saying to my sister as I'm trying to figure out exactly what it is I'm seeing, Kate, what the heck are those things? As I'm saying that another identical object comes into view behind the first two. Then another, then another, totaling 7 of these identical orange lights flying in a line, one after the next, moving in the direction of West to East. It seemed each one came out of nowhere to join the line. They made no sound as they moved across the sky in line formation, they didn't change colors or anything like that, they stayed orange. They were approximately 10-20 feet between each one. They flew across the sky and one by one disappeared as they flew up to what seemed like a higher altitude. We had called our whole family out to witness these lights and not one person could come up with an idea for what we saw. It was pretty incredible, strange and scary all at the same time. I think we will definitely remember this Christmas in my family!

Report:
At approximately 10:30 PM on 12-25-11 my son came running into the family room urging my wife and I to look out the back of our house which faces West. We looked out and saw innumerable lights off in the distance moving from North to South along a relatively straight path. We proceeded out onto the deck and continued to observe these lights. As they moved to the South, they then appeared to head more West and appeared to climb and then disappear rather rapidly one by one. As we looked to the North, more lights continued to appear. This was a constant stream that we saw for at least 10 minutes, lights disappearing into the sky to the South and West and more lights appearing from the North. I would estimate that several hundred of these objects passed by during this time all taking the same path before turning to the West and up into the sky and disappearing. I had grabbed my cell phone on the way out to the deck and tried to record the objects but the quality is not great. In fact, some of the objects which I could see with the naked eye did not appear on the camera screen while others did. I am attaching the video clip. There are some Christmas lights from a few nearby houses along the bottom of the screen, not to be confused with the moving lights which appear much smaller. We could not make out any sound from these objects.

Report:
Five of us family members went outside for a smoke during our Christmas day dinner when one of us noticed what only can be desribed as a spherical candle flame moving silently across the sky. It was maybe the size of a car?, and close but moving slowly and no light change. It hovered briefly then continued. We saw it from a couple different angles as it moved and my son and nephew who are in their 20's said it looked like a mini hot air balloon, but we all concurred that was not the case as it moved in a straight line except for the occassional hovering. After it stopped and hovered for a second time it went in a 90* turn from a hover-stop and that's when we all looked at each other and really knew that was a UFO! I personally have had other encounters, but 2 of the others were totally non-believers of anything out of the ordinary and they were blown away by this. After it took off then it was gone and we went inside.

Report:
At approximately 8:30 to 8:40 p.m. on Dec. 25, 2011, I was standing and looking out at the sky from my ground floor apartment patio, talking on the phone. I saw a light grey, roundish, filmy substance moving toward me from the southeast, traveling northwesterly. The substance appeared to be unsolid - possibly gaseous. I had absolutely no idea what it could be as I had never seen anything like that before in my life. It grew larger as it approached and then took the shape of a craft. It was an oblong, six-sided craft with rounded ends. I saw a dull light grey and metallic-looking craft - my husband saw gray and black. It moved slowly, perhaps no more than 20 mph and no less than 10 mph. It moved very smoothly and as it continued to approach I noticed two appendages protruding from the closest end to me. They appeared to be something like very long antenas pointed downward. I was describing what I saw to the person I was talking to on the phone. Then I yelled for my husband to come out and he saw it as well. The craft moved steadily and was completely silent. There were no exterior lights. The end farthest from me had windows and they seemed to contain one small golden light in each window. I think there were 4-6 windows. The craft flew over the parking lot and was approximately 300-500 ft. in altitude and approximately 300 ft. away from me at the closest point. It was hard to tell how high it was or how far away but it was very, very close. My husband said he wished he would have had a flashlight to shine on it because it probably would have reflected. My husband saw geometric shapes on the outside bottom of the craft. This was not writing, but black, wide lines that appeared to be more for functionality. My husband ran into the apartment and out the front door and out through the back parking lot to watch it. I went out the front door straight to the west. The craft soon went back to the original shape of a roundish, unsolid object. I saw the craft for about 30 seconds - my husband saw it for about 10 seconds. During and after the sighting I felt very peaceful and loving. During the sighting I was also very excited and all I could say was, "Oh my God!", over and over again. This sighting was in Chandler, AZ.

Report:
At midnight on Christmas, 12/25/2011, my son and I decided to take our dog for a walk. We were walking south in the 13000 block of Roe in Leawood, KS. when we spotted two amber/orange lights approaching approx 30 degrees in the sky, as if they were from an aircraft. We thought the color was odd for an approaching aircraft. The lights were fairly close together and horizontal from one another. They then grew a little further apart and then became vertical in their positioning with one another, as if the craft was in a 90 degree banking position. We thought that wasn't possible if it was an aircraft. The lights then moved next to one another and stopped and hovered for about 15 seconds. At this point they were about 30 degrees off the horizon and made no sound. It was eerily quiet. We were stopped in our tracks in awe wondering what in the world we were experiencing!! It was definately not an airplane! Initially we thought it was one craft with two lights, but now we believe the lights are on two separate craft. At this time of night there is no traffic on the street at all. All of a sudden the lead light starts to fade and appears to change direction to the south so the light disappears. Seconds later the second light does the same. Just at that moment one car (the only car we saw that night) headed south on Roe stops and the two occupants asked if we just saw what they saw. They were excited like us and we talked for approx 30 seconds. They couldn't believe what they saw as well and had no explanation for the sighting. We all thought that what we saw was crazy, unbelievable and incredible!! I contacted the local FOX affiliate the next morning and they advised me that there were no other reports of sightings on Christmas night.

Driving north I-95 between Woolbright and Atlantic Ave exits near Delray Beach, FL.

Saw bright lights moving slowly east to west over I-95. Thought why was a string of planes flying so low. Pulled over to shoulder and filmed them from car with cellphone.

Some flew out of sight and some had had lights go out.

Called my dad and mother who witnessed them from their home in Boynton Beach.

Note:  The object in the photo for Case # 34316 could very well be a flare of some sort but just as stated by the witness, I don't see a parachute, or any means by which a flare would stay aloft.   I would expect to see at least a hint of light reflection in the photo.   You decide. -SW
