Lights And Oval Object Observed Near Floydada, Texas, 06-06-2013

Below is an account from a witness in Floydada, Texas who reported their sighting to MUFON.  The report is posted here, unedited.

Summary: observed about 60 horizonal red lights in row blinking simultainiously then 6-10 bright white vertical lights flashing upward in sequence from the red light field, later appeared a round object in front with several rows of white lights around it
Report:   
We were traveling home from the Lubbock area after a doctor visit on June 6th, 2013, heading East on Hwy 62 moving between Floydada in Floyd County and Matador in Motley County just after 10:30 pm. We had stopped in Floydada for gas at 10:25 pm. I was driving the speed limit of 75 mph with the cruise control on.
It was very dark because there was a new moon. My husband, first saw the red lights to the South of the highway. It was a huge field of bright sequentially blinking bright red lights and it was a little ahead of our position.
My husband said to me "Look at all those bright red lights. It doesnt look like any kind of airfield Ive ever seen, besides this is Floydada. No airfields this large around here." Then I looked and commented that I didnt think airfields had rows of bright red blinking lights. Then he said "They are blinking sequentially."
We were only about a few of miles outside Floydada heading East. There were about 60 to 100 of these red lights in horizontal rows blinking simultaneously about a mile in length and about tree height above the plains. Then suddenly we noticed that we were alongside parallel to the field of red lights, just about in the middle. My husband was telling me excitedly about this as I looked over and saw the same thing. It was parallel with us.
A few minutes after seeing the red light field become parallel to us, we then saw 6 to 10 bright white vertical lights appear within the red light field flashing upward in sequence. However, the white light "pillars" were not in sinc with the red lights. These vertical white lights continued for several minutes and then vanished.
Since I was driving, my husband kept his eyes on the objects. I was looking as much as possible. The objects traveled parallel with us for about 10 to 15 miles continuously then slowed a bit so we were ahead about a quarter mile or so. Then suddenly they were back parallel to us.
By now we were discussing how we were certain that this was and event like nothing either of us had ever encountered before and that these were something unknown and extraordinary. We were not afraid and did not have any feeling of urgency or anything. I wanted to pull over and watch but my husband was so tired and wanted to continue home.
Then, however, another large object just appeared in front of the red light field. It was a round object, not a sphere but a very large circle or large cylindrical shape, flat on top and bottom, out in front of the field of red lights still blinking simultaneously. The round object had several rows of bright white light panels rotating around it. It appeared to be rotating slowly. This was all totally bazaar!
These followed along parallel to us for another 10 miles or so until we came to the canyons of the Cap-rock off the plains where the highway cut into the canyons and blocked the view.
We both think and talk about this almost constantly. It was incredible to see such a thing! We had to tell you about this.
I am an amateur painter and I am attempting to paint the scene. I wont be able to do it justice.

Not sure but I believe that I have been abducted many times. I believe that it started back in the late 1980s. There are several stories from waking in the middle of being taken out of my house by this tall being when I was stationed on Crete, Greece, to several recent ones. The reason I am reaching out now is because of the recent episodes and questions I have. I recently woke up with a round patch, about 1.5 inches in diameter, of hair missing from the left side of my head (above and to the left of my ear) to teeth that I think were pulled and put back. As for the teeth, I just woke up one day and had 2 very loose molars on the right bottom side of my jaw. They did hurt but that only lasted a few days. They are still loose but without pain. In November I awoke in the middle of another episode. I was in a hotel room and woke up hearing chirping sounds going back and forth. I was covered from head to toe in a white sheet and was surrounded in very bright white light. I felt something at the foot end and tried to kick at it as I was very upset. I just got heavier and could no longer move. I felt something near my shoulder at this point. I did try yelling for it to leave me alone. I know I got a few words out but again was only left heavier than before and unable to move or speak. I just kept hearing the chirping going on. I eventually just blacked out. When I woke up in the morning I felt extremely heavy with difficulty moving. I had a very hard time getting out of bed and to the shower. I had to give a speech at a university and as I was being led to the room I had extreme difficulty going up 2 steps. I fell back once and just pushed myself back to move on. At the same time I was in an extreme feeling of paranoia for a few hours. I had to sit outside for a while just to pull myself together. Anybody that knows me knows that I don't fear much of anything. I have been awakened a few times in the middle of something going on. On other occasions I have been aware of something going on but couldn't open my eyes but tried fighting my way out just to be completely unable to move while getting some words out - yelling for my freedom.
I have twice seen the tall thin creature with the large head and small eyes. On one of those occasions I did see several short creatures with the large purple eyes looking at me. The tall one seems to be the abductor. The second time I saw the tall one it threw the sheets off of my feet at the foot of my bed. I remember it lightly slapping my feet. It was slightly hunched over looking at me with the little one scattered on both sides of it. That happened at my apartment in Texas. While in Greece, I don't know if it was returning me or trying to take me but I fought hard holding on to the couch with my rt leg and hand. It had me half way out of the large window that was as wide as I am tall.
I am heavily involved in the spiritual having done several exorcisms. I am a hypnotist. I have 2 degrees (math and biology) and a paper away from my MS in computer science. Tests give me an IQ of 154. I was working for intelligence when I believe it all started. For some reason or another I don't like to sleep at night no matter how tired and will stay up as late as possible. I am not scared to go to sleep just don't seem to want to.
I have many more details to each event but think they would be best spoken if there is any interest in them.
Are these things happening to others?

Summary: 100 star-like objects gliding through sky like a flock of birds. Later stopped high in sky and took on constellation-like formation.

Report:
Saw 100+ solid white glowing objects that first appeared still, but in some type of formation: like a low-lying star constellation.

They then began gliding through the sky silently, moving in formation like a flock of birds.

They flew directly overhead, at a low altitude flying southeast to northwest.

After 10 minutes they made their way higher into the sky and again all took on a constellation-like formation and stopped in their places.

We stood and stared at them for another 20 minutes and they stayed in their exact locations.

Otherwise very cloudy sky-no stars visible.

Report:
Witnessed at least 100 flying orbs..flying north bound directly over lake Travis Texas.

Orbs were pulsing bright ...most were flying in a cluster like a flock of birds with several stragglers bring up the rear.

One flew really low directly over my house...it was perfectly silent and moving very fast.

Detailed Description of Dark Triangle UFO Over Lumbeton, Texas, 1999

A witness recalls a 1999 sighting, of a backwards flying triangular-shaped UFO.
Here is that report as it was submitted to MUFON.  It is unedited.

Summary: Black triangle UFO flying backwards; Very close sighting.

Report:
This incident occurred roughly 13 years ago. As much as Ive obsessed over this event, its odd that I dont have a record of this that states the exact date and time. I may have had something a few years ago, but if the information was in that notebook its long gone now.

In appx. 1999, unsure of month, on appx. 10:30-11:30 pm CST, I was standing outside in my mothers front yard on Keith Road in Lumberton, Texas.

She and I had just returned from a later than usual night of delivering repaired jewelry to various clients, she owned a small jewelry repair store in Beaumont, Texas at the time.

(Id like to note that while I believe we had just returned, Im not 100 percent on that. Its possible that that may have been a different night.)

I must have retrieved the wireless phone from inside the house and then went outside to talk to my friend James on the phone. At that time, we were both very interested in the idea of aliens and really just about anything paranormal. I was observing a satellite in the night sky, N-NW of the direction I was facing.

Three houses sat, and still sit, across the street in a small, private drive owned by the family members that reside there. That drive is perpendicular to Keith road and almost directly across the street from, what was then, my mothers driveway.

The tree line behind these homes consists of mostly tall pine trees, roughly 60-70 feet in height. Pretty dense too - nothing can be observed through the trees (Homes, et cetera). Following the tree line, the trees in the back sort of curve around and behind the leftmost home and back to the street - so from my perspective on the ground, I have a larger view of the sky toward the center of this clearing made by the home construction and less of a view toward the left and right, as those tress were closer to me (left). Trees toward the right followed the road back, but further view this direction was also obscured by trees on other lots further down.

Ironically, we were talking about UFOs and aliens when the sighting occurred.

Not too long after James and I were on the phone a large craft became visible from behind the left of the tree line across the street.

Whatever it was, it was moving extremely slow, Im guessing appx. 5 miles per hour.

It was a black triangle. Yes, I know how cliche this is, but it is what it is however, heres something that isnt cliche (at least I don;t believe it is). The triangle was moving backward. Backward!

At the time I wasnt, but Im now an electrical engineer. I graduated top of my class from one of the best engineering departments in the country. Ive worked with NASA. Ive been weightless aboard a modified C9-B aircraft. I almost went to work for Lockheed Martin as a ballistic missiles systems engineer. The point Im trying to make is that I now understand principles required for flight. I understand the dynamics involved and I know, without a fraction of a doubt, what I saw that night. Heres the thing - It wasnt an airplane. It wasnt a balloon. It wasnt anything that Ive ever seen... and Ive looked, extensively. It also wasnt conforming to any conventional methods of flight. Period. This thing used something else entirely. Nothing that big can move that slow without utilizing a different technology altogether.

The craft continued on an eastern-ly path. Its course never shifted, nor did its speed. I was able to examine the craft for at least 3-8 mins. Closely too!

The craft had two red lights and one white, systematically-blinking light.

Each light was in one corner of the UFO. The white light was at the back, or what Im going to refer to as the top of the UFO.

The "tail" light blinked about every second or so - when it did blink, I could make out ridges, or lines running perpendicular to the "base" of the craft, well almost to the "base," it was very large, so that light didnt illuminate the entire side of the craft... about 1/2-3/4 of it Id say.

There werent any other noticeable features. It wasnt shiny, as I recall the ridges texture resembled something like that of a spray-in bed liner for pickup trucks.

Immediately after seeing this thing in the sky, I made a comment to my friend on the phone and then, Im guessing, let him go because of the excitement.

I, hesitantly, ran into the house to try and grab a camera. There happened to one near the door, but the film was completely used so I had nothing to visually document the UFO.

My mother was asleep on the couch, and didnt wake up in time to witness the event.

I ran back outside and observed the craft continue to move toward the east and then disappear behind the tree line.

Not at any point did someone drive down the road. Ive never seen anyone report this sighting and its really boggling that no one did as a major highway runs to the west of that position.

Id love it if someone could let me know if there have been similar sightings. This is something that has been of extreme interest to me for some time now, for obvious reasons.

The Mars Rovers have captured photos of some strange things on Mars but is this really what it looks like?   A rodent on Mars?

Others are calling it a rat (must be the long tail),  and my significant other said it looks like a rabbit (with a long tail).  Well it looks sort of 'squirrel-y' to me. 

The object does appear to be a critter of some sort, with a blunt nose, beady eyes and again, a long tail.

What do you think?

What would you do if you found an alien body?

I received an email from a dear friend, who asked a thought provoking question, so here it is, just as he wrote it.


 


Hey!!!

How you iz? Hope the correct answer is happy and healthy.

I ran across an article this evening (http://ufos.about.com/od/may2013/a/What-Would-You-Do.htm) and realized something that is less intuitive than you would hope.  The question is "what would you do if you found an alien body?", but that doesn't go far enough.  You and I have discussed the fact that there may be trolls in any or all UFO and alien organizations and we certainly can't trust the government, so I think the real question is who do you go to with the information?  The article garnered a couple of good responses, but it all becomes moot if handled inappropriately.  Do you have unshakable faith in anyone or any institution to handle something like this?  Is it possible that the right answer really is to conceal it and or acclimate society at a pace to be determined?

There are idiots out there who really go nuts, but that rationale opens the biggest can of worms imaginable.  For example, you would have to expect terrible violence after every presidential election because over 60 million people will lose. Therefore, it only takes a 1/60,000,000% of the population to be deadly. Further, at the moment there is statistically a probability of

percent of the world's population today that the next Hitler, Einstein, etc, etc. is developing.   Opportunity, choice, and other factors play their part in reducing it even further, but the law of averages and statistical analysis eventually produce virtually any situation. God has often allowed history to repeat itself, so we know what good and evil man is capable of by empirical evidence.

Bet that tangent didn't make any sense, but my point is that the absence of planning, proper instructions, and appropriate precautions for such an event has an indeterminable number of potential outcomes.  In my personal opinion, if an alien civilization was indisputably discovered and presented, the vast majority of the population is fully capable of acquiescing, accepting, and integrating such news.   One of the greater concerns I read repeatedly is that the world isn't capable of handling this stuff but I think you would be looking at a very, very small percentage not unlike the examples above.  In every event, every environment, every scenario there is potential for something to go wrong.

Shouldn't authoritative figures controlling this type of information be just as concerned about the portion of the world census who may become unhinged at being lied to or  having truth hidden?

This means those who have resources also have a responsibility to educate the masses on what to do to mitigate the negativity associated with it.  You are the one I would go to in a heartbeat, but what would you do if I called one day and said I had irrefutable and undeniable proof of aliens?  Would you take time to exercise extreme caution, would you rush it out to someone immediately, would it be a phone call, a press conference (if you could get anyone to attend), would our families wind up living in the Australian Outback hiding from the authorities, or what?

"Hi I read your article on the "Hum" and just wanted to say that I live in Mcallen, TX and I can hear it here too. I've lived in two separate locations within the last year here in the same town and I have heard it at both. I'm a student so I study late at night usually from midnight to sometimes 5am. I notice the sound also usually around 2-3am...it really hurts my ears and gives me a bad headache. I've woken up my boyfriend to listen for it but he never hears it. I figured maybe I was just able to pick up a different frequency....but it's strange that it only happens within that time frame. I had to start listening to music to drown out the sound because it was really unbearable for me.

I'm just glad I'm not the only person out there that hears it."
