Summary:    UFO stopped above my tanker when I was fueling a locomotive.

Report:
I was fueling a locomotive at Gavin Yard, Minot, ND. Fueling a locomotive takes about 20-30 Min. There is a airport nearby about 4 miles. I saw what look like a plane flying real slow over Gavin Yard and also flying a little low. There were no blinking lights under the object, just a bright white looked like a landing light for a plane. The height of the object was about one and a half telephone poles high. I was wearing a headlamp on my hard hat and I decided to flash my light at it to signal it just to humor myself. The object changed direction and headed in my direction. The object stopped right above my tanker(semi-tractor) The object made no sound had no wings, no smell that I could remember nor wind. The object was black and cylinder in shape about forty feet in length with a white light pointing down and a little faint red light at the end of it. I got on my radio to see if anyone else could see it but everyone else was inside the tower, as soon as I got off the radio it moved to the south, I watched it for about two minutes and it went slow maybe about 20mph, I looked at my fuel gauge on the locomotive and then looked back to see it and it was gone! The wind was blowing from the west/south west at 11:15 pm July 3rd, 2010.

Last Texas UFO Sightings of 2010 - First Texas UFO Sighting of 2011

There were 28 Texas UFO sightings reported to MUFON in December, 2010.  It is unknown as to how many were reported to NUFORC, as they have not updated their site since November, 2010; however, I received reports that brings the total up to 34.  There may be other reports that have been submitted to other websites but I do not have a report on the numbers, as yet.

There were many compelling reports submitted (I have already posted them here on LITS) but here are the last two reports of 2010 and the first report of 2011, unedited.

Report:
We were sitting by a fire in our back yard, I saw something out of the corner of my eye in our northern sky. It was an orange/redish color fireball floating quickly, then slowed up quite a bit, then hovered a minuite,moved southward again somewhat slow, hovered again and then dissapeared to the east/southeast. We watched it until it had moved out of sight. When we first saw it you could tell it wasn't anything we had ever seen before. It wasn't like a falling star, as it changed speeds several times. My first thought was it was a ufo. It was a very exciting feeling to watch this object, however afterwards I looked on the internet and saw where there had been sightings of the same exact thing(there was video) in other parts of the country and world. It started to make me feel a little spooked and weary.

Report:
While sitting at the dining room table we saw a bright fireball moving across the sky and we immediately went outside to see. The fireball moved from west to east much like an airplane, but definatly wasn't. The object appeared to be bright orange and on fire.

Report:
Me and my girlfriend were driving down I-30 headed eastbound. We were passing Cooper street in Arlington Texas, when I noticed an orb in the sky. The orb was very bright and a fair distance away from us. I kept looking for a blinking light to figure out if this was an airplane. I asked my girlfriend if she could tell if it was "blinking". At that exact moment my girlfriend let out a gasp and we both noticed that the object had changed complete directions, done a 180 degree turn and was now headed in the opposite direction. The orb sped up and was flying at an exceptionally fast rate of speed. I couldn't believe my eyes. Thank god my girlfriend was there to back up my story. We both experienced a low flying object, brightly lit, changing direction in mid flight pattern and flying at an extremely fast speed. By the way I should mention that the flight pattrn that the orb took was originally headed north and then took a turn and headed south and passed right over Cowboy's stadium in Arlington Texas. The orb vanished from our line of sight behind a building, when we drove around the building the orb was well gone.

Star-like lights observed Southeast of Midway, Texas

Report:
Driving along near FM 1119 in Tanyard near the Madison/Leon County line, I spotted 3 bright, white, star like objects on the SE horizon. They appeared to be equidistant from one another and were positioned in the manner of Orion's belt (though it was not Orion's belt because I spotted the constellation higher up in the sky just minutes before), and were arranged in a staggered, akimbo like, but parallel position.

I kept my eye on them and the two outermost objects appeared to move slightly upwards. I lost sight of the objects for a few seconds due to trees. When I regained sight of them, the leftmost object was gone. Then, I lost view of the objects once again due to trees and did not see them again when I came to a clear spot. They weren't stars, and I don't know if they were otherworldly objects or someone having fun with flares. All I know is they were unidentified and were flying.

Report:
I turned left off of Auction road went thru the covered bridge, turned right and saw an object in the sky. I thought at first a plane... looked a little harder and thought hhmmmm don't remember a cell tower being out here. Got to a stop sign right by the Spooky Nook Golfplex and I sat there staring in the sky at the lights wondering what it was because they were to bright to be a cell tower's lights. Sat there for a minute or two then the object began moving in my direction. Slowly too like 5 mph couldn't of been much faster than that at about 200 yards up or so (about the height of a cell tower) as it got closer I took out my cell phone but it's a piece of junk so I couldn't record anything

I cracked the window to see if I could hear anything but there was no sound ZERO noise and this was a large object, to wide to be an airplane. There were 4 large bright white lights and two blinking lights one blue the other red. It continued to move very slowly and silently across the sky and as it approached the highway it sped up effortlessly to around 50 mph or so. I just sat there shaking my head trying to figure out what in the hell that could of been! All I know is no known man-made aircraft can move THAT slowly and with no sound across the sky. Very very bizarre and I wish there was an answer for what that thing was other than U.F.O.

I've never seen anything like that and I wasn't on drugs, drunk or hallucinating at the time either!! I was relieved to hear that other sightings had occurred earlier that day but I haven't seen anything about lights at night.

Report:
There are actually two events which happened on this date. First, my husband saw a silver flash, much like an elongated straight line over a tree line to the east. This occurred at approximately 2:15 pm, while we were heading south on State Rd. 101. The second was even more perplexing. We were headed north on 101 and spotted a stationary glowing object, which we thought may have been over the Richmond area. Both of us thought perhaps it was an AirEvac going into Reid Hospital, but we are 30 miles from there and would not have seen something like that due to obstructions. As we made a left onto Dunlapsville Rd, enroute to Connersville, the "light" glowed a bluish white and seemed to have followed us. It was cloudy and snowing lightly, so doubtfully it was an aircraft. It was on a straight trajectory and when it was at my 5 o'clock position of the car, it glowed brighter and then was gone.

Insofar as the first incident is concerned, my husband also saw that bluish-white streak before and I, too, have seen it once or twice. They are pointed at each end and a little thicker in the middle. He has also seen a blackish type of "thing" over the treeline which would be toward the east and near Oxford, OH. Neither of us could explain what the glowing light was, either, as it was too cloudy to see Venus or Jupiter. Having a degree in Earth and Space Science, admittedly, I could not comprehend what it was we saw. Regarding our feelings, it was a real headscratcher.

Report:
I was on my patio looking at the stars having a cigarette when I started hearing the sound of what sounded like a small cessna plane flying over. We don't get any cessna's flying over so I thought it was strange. I kept watching, and to my total SHOCK I saw a triangle appear over the building next door (appartments). It was flying low enough to make out that it was definatly a triangle with two bright "headlights", and as I watched it fly over me my mouth was dropped wide open, and I was completly speachless. As it passed overhead, I noticed light hitting the undercarriage and it appeared to have some kind of bar across the sides of the bottom, but I could only make out one side of the belly. When it was completly overhead, I noticed a back light on the back tip of the triangle. There was only the three lights though, no light in the center of the belly. It was not using any kind of spot light or anything. It was just traveling overhead like it was on it's own agenda. I popped my head out from the overhang of the patio to really get a good look and see if I was really "seeing" this. It continued flying over my complex, and disapeared from my sight after flying over my building. At that point, I started calling my husband Ron several times, and he just didn't hear me calling for him. I guess I wasn't loud enough.

Like I said, it sounded like a cessna, but there was no way! It was clearly a triangle. I wasn't scared of it, just shocked. I have seen pictures on tv and in books of the famous "triangle", but never saw one myself. I'd LOVE to see it again. The whole time elapsed was about two minutes. I then looked at the clock and it said 11:00pm (California time).

I tried to go to sleep after at about 12:00 midnight, and found it difficult to fall asleep. As I laid there, I heard that EXACT SAME SOUND AGAIN! I laid in bed (out of shock) and heard it for about an additional 15 minutes! Now, nearby in Mountain View, we have an old NASA base, but they don't test military planes there. We also have a secret military base up in the Santa Cruz mountains, and God only knows what they do up there. This was smaller than the Stealth, and anyway, it made a motor noise. There's no way it was a hang glider at night either. That's just not possible in the area I live in. I have always believed in "UFO's", and also believe I had several experiences as a child. But this is the first time in my adulthood that something like this has happened. I hope that it really was a "UFO", and hope to hear from you if your getting any other reports about last night. It wasn't that late, and people were still up. The picture I am attaching is NOT one I took. It's just the closest I could find on the internet to show what it looked like. Just a few changes though. There was NO light in the center of the undercarriage. Just the three white lights at the tip.

Summary:    slow silent craft at treetop level with three large "windows"

Report:
I was jogging in the dark very early before work on a country road in rural Maine. It was a clear, calm, and starry night with no Moon. The stars were very bright and I was watching the sky as I ran down the road. There were no leaves on the hardwood trees yet, and I noticed a bright light moving through the sky. It was east of south east, traveling slowly toward the west, at about 30 degrees or so above the horizon. I couldn't see it very well at first because it was low enough in the sky that I was looking at it through the tree branches. This part of the road had a slight rise and was pointed in a south easterly direction so the light was just a little toward my left and it seemed that at the rate it was going,it would soon pass in front of me where there were no trees over the road. The rise in the road crested about 1/10th of a mile in front of me before it went back down the other side. At the crest of the hill was an empty house on the right side. About another 10th of a mile on the other side of the hill was a house that had a streetlight in their driveway that cast a very faint glow in the atmosphere. The street light itself was not visible, just its faint glow. Intrigued, I waited to see what the moving light might be as it soon would pass across the road within my view. When it passed over the road I saw it was much larger and closer than I had expected. It appeared to be just above the tree tops and took up the entire space over the road between the trees. The light that I first saw through the trees was really three lights, not one, and they looked more like very large windows that were round in appearance. The quality of the light was like it was comming from within, like the windows on a house rather than headlights on a plane. The three windows also appeard to be in a row that curved around the object with the one on the left of the three pointing directly in my direction. This "window" appeared to have some sort of a grid on it. The others didn't as far as I could tell. There was a row of smaller lights that ran along the left side of the craft that were white and amber in color. The craft was between me and that streetlight I described earlier because the glow from that streetlight had the object in the sky backlit enough that I could make out its outline on the side where the small row of lights were. But the three "windows" were bright enough that I couldn't make out the outline on that side. I looked hard for the red and green running lights or the blinking lights that conventional aircraft have but these were not there. It was also totaly silent. It was a calm night and I noticed I was able to hear a tractor-trailer downshifting to get up the hill that was on the main road about 3 miles away to the south west but this object in front of me made no noise at all. While I was describing to my self what I was looking at so I would remember the details, the object appeared to STOP in the sky right over the road in front of me while I stared and studied it for perhaps 30 seconds. Then I realised it hadn't stopped but had changed it's direction and was comming towards me and declining in altitude as well. My next thought was to get out of the way in case it was a disabled aircraft comming in for a landing on the road.I began to stumble into the bushes off the side of the road in the dark to get out of the way. Before I got more than three steps off the road I became aware of a change in the light out of my peripheral vision and turned to look back. The craft had made a 90 degree turn back toward the west and continued slowly and silently on its way. For some reason it suddenly occured to me that what ever it was knew I was there and was comming in to check me out but when I ran, thought it had scared me and changed its mind. This was a really strong feeling and I have no idea where it came from because never did I feel scared. I had been thinking it was some sort of a small plane until it made that abrupt turn and kept going at treetop level away from me. It went over the empty house on the crest of the hill, just above the treetops, and proceeded across the field behind the house. I began to run as fast as I could up the hill to try to get to the top where I hoped to get another look at it as it crossed the field but before I could get there, the lights simply vanished as if they were turned off. When I got home about 45 minutes later I immediatelly drew a picture of what I had seen. I went to work and told the first two people I saw that morning about it but was so ridiculed that I have only told a couple of other people about it since.

Report:
At 5:53 p.m. on Thursday Dec 16th, 2010, I was on my way back from work, located near Hiwasse, AR. I drove down Highway 72 towards Centerton, then turned right on the 102 spur to come into town. After making the right turn, I went around a corner to the left. Immedidiately after making that corner, I looked at a white house that sits on the right. Above the house was a large, triangular shaped object that looked black, although it could have been a different color as it had already gotten dark by that time. The object had 2 large lights and one solid light. All 3 lights were white. I did not see any red lights. At first I didn't notice any of them flashing. The object was banking and flying very slowly, so that it appeared to be hovering. It looked like it was just down the street a little and back towards the west. I was excited to see it and thought that I would pull into a nearby apartment complex to get a better look, but before I reached the apartments the object had completed its turn and leveled out, now flying east then southeast. I rolled my window down but didn't hear anything. The object rose slowly and headed out towards the interstate. It was then that I noticed the 2 large lights on the back flashing while the smaller one was not. I looked but never saw a red light. I followed down to the stoplight across from McDonald's, waited for the light to change, and then turned onto Highway 102 towards Bentonville, all the while watching it get further away and continue flashing. I only went as far as Sonic as my sister's housing complex, Siena Estates, is right after Sonic and I was headed to her house. I turned left into the complex and stopped, looking out my passenger and back windows to see the object. I saw the large back lights flash two more times and then it was too far away to be seen due to its distance and due to the dark tint on my windows and the fact that I had to keep going forward to avoid holding up traffic. The entire event lasted about 10 minutes, and the object appeared to be flying very slowly and staying pretty low to the ground, only rising as it got over the interstate. I asked my brother-in-law, who is a pilot, about any planes flying out of the XNA regional airport to see if they fly towards Centerton and then bank while heading out over the interstate. He said they do, and that I might have seen a C-130. I told him I didn't see a red flashing light, and he said it might have been on top and I wouldn't have, but I don't think that's the case. First off, I flew in a C-130 while a Marine, and the object appeared more triangle-shaped and not like that of a plane, plus it was flying very slowly, especially while banking. I've done a lot of flying myself, and don't see how a plane could stay in the air if it was flying so slow that it at first appeared to be hovering. I would like to know if anyone else has reported anything unusual, or if there was a large plane leaving XNA airport around 5:53 p.m. This is all of the information I can recall. Report:
My wife and I saw an honest to god UFO last night at about a quarter past midnight.
My wife was looking out the bedroom windows and shouted to me in the living room, 'HEY look out the window...HURRY! We have a skyline view of San Francisco looking east from a hilltop about a mile from downtown.
I saw what my wife was looking at immediately and shouted ' What the 'f' is that!' It was coming toward our apartment building slowly at about the same speed a that a helicopter would fly and I've seen lot's of those.
There was a truly bizarre, glowing, orange ring in the sky coming toward our building. The cloud layer was low over the city but, the skyline was plainly visible. The orange ring was under the clouds heading west toward the ocean. It was really, unmistakably different from anything I've ever seen. It was like an oval ring of bright orange plasma...hard to focus on like neon but intense like fire. It made the clouds glow slightly. It might have even been just inside the lower boundary of the cloud layer.
It moved very smoothly with no jerkiness whatsoever and it was silent with absolutely zero, blinking lights.
It flew over our eight story tall building and out of our field of vision. We both ran downstairs in our pajamas and outside onto the sidewalk hoping we could still see it.
We could! It was still moving slowly west but, looked like it was going up, too. I considered going back upstairs to get a camera but, decided it would be gone before I could get back with it so, we both just kept watching it. Sure enough, it started fading out of sight as it seemed to climb back up through the cloud layer.
My wife and I went back upstairs and sat on the couch talking about it for awhile.I was thrilled...she was really nervous and obviously shaken up by the experience.
My wife thinks I'm nuts when I watch UFO shows on TV. She thinks it's all BS. Well, maybe not so much now. She kept asking what me what I thought it was; if I thought it was really an alien spacecraft. She was asking me what does it mean. Of course I didn't really have any good answers.
It wasn't like anything I'd ever seen before. I've never claimed to have seen any UFO before. Nothing I've ever seen comes close this.
I can't imagine anything, even remotely, technologically feasible st this time by anyone on this planet.

Row of orange lights seen again near Abilene, TX

More orange lights are seen and reported from a witness in Abilene, Texas.  Could these lights be flares, or something else and could the military be attempting to divert attention away from that 'something else'?

Summary:    Orange Lights, Watched Them For 45 Minutes

Ok first let me start by saying this is going to be my last report on these, because nobodys following up on it. The lights started appearing as single lights then after a while came on in a row of light up to 6 at a time, then at one time the light came on in a row one would come on then it appeared to jump or just another light came on and what made it odd as the lights were coming on in a row from left to right they started coming on from right to left, hard to explain but it came on like this direction----> O O O O O as a new light appeared the one behind it would go out, then they came on in this direction <---- O O O O O and there was no hesitation soon as it went from left to right it went right back from right to left. Very odd and very cool to watch, i've now seem them 5 times just in the month of December alone, before that it was 8 months before I saw these lights in the sky. This is final report until someone takes this serious ...you know maybe come check it out for yourself or look up in the sky between abilene and brownwood, from 6pm - 7pm not saying they're on a schedule just seems to be the time they appear. Seen in Lancaster, PA: Bell-shaped craft escorted by Chinook helicopters

Here is the unedited report to MUFON, of a recent daytime sighting which occurred in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, of a bell-shaped craft being escorted by two Chinook helicopters.  Later that same day, the mother of the witness actual sees the bell-shaped UFO her daughter had seen earlier.  She describes it's appearance as that of a brown and silver Hershey's Kiss candy.

Summary:    Enormous bell shaped object surrounded by two chinooks

Report:
There were actually two seperate events on the same day. The first was around noon. My thirteen year old daughter saw this, I did not and she helped me in writing this report. She is homeschooled and in ninth grade, so she is home during the day. She heard a very loud sonic-boom type sound and the ground shook. She looked out our front downstairs window and saw an extremely large bell-shaped object, almost like a giant Hershey Kiss candy- brownish-silverish in color. She could see two grey chinook helicopters, one on either side- one slightly in front of the object on the opposing side, the other facing her was closer to the object's rear. To compare the size of the object with the chinook's size- the object being a Hershey kiss candy- the chinook would be no larger than an ice-cream sprinkle. They were flying beyond a tree line around residential areas, we belive above an area of open land set for possible future housing. They seemed to dissapear and my daughter witnessed two black helicopters right afterward flying the same path. During this event my daughter also saw some neighbors across the street, closer to the described object, come outside- two parents and a small child. She said that they all pointed toward the object, appeared to be screaming, then the mother went inside, quickly returning with a video camera. She thinks they might have gotten footage as the object and chinooks were not traveling very fast. The child was crying and all seemed very disturbed and went quickly inside their house after the event was over. We do not know them personally and have not approached them.

The second sighting was later that evening around 6:30 pm and it was dark by that time. Some of my kids and I were leaving the house and went outside to get in the van. This time my thirteen year old daughter, my seven year old son and I all saw an object in the same place and same direction that the other object was traveling earlier. I saw what appeared to be an enormously large object, obviusly round in shape to some degree as there were several lights in a round formation. I recall red and clear or yellow lights but couldn't see a bell shape for sure. My daughter saw the faint outline of the same bell or Hershey kiss shape she saw earlier but with lights in red, blue, and yellow around the base and one red at tip. We did not hear any loud noises nor did the ground shake this time and there was no evidence of any other planes along with it this time. It dissapeared beyond the trees. I remember yelling "What the frig is that?" or a similar expletive and just being held in awe by the size and apparent low-flying flight path of the object.

Summary:    6-8 Bright red orange orbs in a row come on then one at a time they dim out

Report:
I was driving home on FM 410 North when I seen one bright red orange light out of my peripheral. Just as I looked in its direction it was dimming out. I knew it was not an airplane as there are always planes flying over at much greater altitude than this light was at. It was stationary.

I continued staring in the sky and then two red orange lights/orbs lite up. They were stationary, in the same place the first light came on. The two lights stay on for a few seconds and then dim out one at a time.

I knew then this was not anything I could explain. I am still driving but now going very slow never taking my eyes off the sky. A few seconds later 6 - 8 red orange lights come on.

The lights are in a row, still in the same place, not moving. The lights are all on for a few seconds and then one at a time they go out.

I seen lights and noting else. I could not see what they were attached to. After all the lights went out that was it. They sky looked just like nothing was there, like the ufo was invisible. There was no sound, nothing dark blocking my view of the stars, nothing.

I was shocked when I seen the lights because I knew what I was seeing was a ufo, but I could not believe I was really seeing it at the same time.

As I drove closer to my home at a very slow speed, and still looking at the sky I realized that the area of the sky I seen the ufo at was almost directly over my house.

I whipped in my driveway, stopped immediately, got out and stared at the sky, but there was nothing there just the stars.

I went inside freaking out, I was alone pacing back and forth in my kitchen going to the window looking out, and then I would think what if they are still out there, so I would walk back to the main area. If I was to look out my kitchen window I could see the ufo if it was still there. It was not there, but I wanted to look and didn't want to look at the same time.

I text my sister, I think I just seen a ufo. Right away she called me and she was freaking out too because she said the son of the woman she worked for had just seen the exact same thing I had seen a few minutes before.

My sister works at a gas station which is about 7 miles north of my home. The same time the boy was seeing the ufo she was closing the store when all of the sudden all the lights went out in the store, and all the lights in the entire area surrounding its location went out.  Every thing went pitch black. She said it was like something drained the power.

The home of her boss is about one mile east of the store my sister works at. This is where the boy seen the ufo. He described the exact same thing I seen. It was over his house long enough for him to go inside to get a shotgun and come back outside. It scared him. This all happened about ten minutes before I seen the ufo.

Later in the evening my sister is texting a friend about the events that had happened and he replies to her that his uncle also seen a ufo and his uncle had described what he seen to be the same thing I had seen and the boy had seen.

His uncle lives a few miles northeast of the gas station my sister works at.

So these lights made three appearances on the night of December 13 between 6:00 to 7:10pm in a distance of about twenty miles, with three different people, myself included, in three different locations.

I do not know the other two personally, I have not spoken more than a sentence to the other two people. We do not share anything in common except the fact that we all know my sister.

Summary:    Dark object with 3 white lights

Report:
The wife and I had driven to San Angelo from Brownwood that day to find some good food we'd read about on the internet.   We were just a mile west of Santa Ana on our way home and it was just now becoming completely dark. I observed the object just 15 degrees to the right of the road from my point of view in the passenger seat. At first I thought it was a really low plane but there's no airport for quite a while, and it was a quiet night with no sounds at all but the car running.

I watched the object which seemed to be just a hundred feet up hovering and turning clockwise. I could tell it was turning because it had three very bright white lights, and I could see the round shape, but there were no blinking lights and the lights weren't pointed down like any plane light I'd ever seen. It was a perfectly clear night too.

At first I thought it was a plane turning, but the lights kept coming around the object, two lights showed and then three as one would rotate out of view and another would appear from the other side. It made about ten revolutions and disappeared completely.. no more lights, no more dark spot. I might have blinked!

5 seconds later my wife said, "did you just see that?" And I said, "Yes, I did, but kept silent from the awe." She said the same. We slowed and looked around. The only other traffic was an 18-wheeler behind us and he slowed too and seemed to be looking for the object also! We pulled over to let him pass but he just waved and pointed up, so we knew he had seen it too!

I didn't even try for the camera since it was so dark it would have never made a decent photo or video. It took me almost a week to report because I thought "nobody would believe this" and I probably listened to way too much Art Bell in the 90s, but I checked the time before and after and wrote down where we were as soon as we started moving again.

I whipped up a drawing in paint...and my wife said it was pretty exact, so here it is!

Another Object seen near Cisco, Texas 12/09/2010

Aside from my own sighting - Christmas lights in the sky near Cisco, Texas, someone else saw and reported a round, disc-like object with lights.

Report:
At 6:35 PM, I was driving south on Highway 183 towards Cisco. About three miles north of Cisco, a round object appeared directly in front of me over the highway. A series of white lights went on and off in succession all the way around the object. It took about 4 seconds for the lights to go around the object. The object appeared to be stationary. The object did not reappear.

A witness reports that he and his fiancee where driving across the Chesapeake Bay Bridge, when they saw an object in the water and dead pelicans on the bridge.

Report:
On Nov. 12, 2010 around 11:15 pm, my fiancee and I were on our way to New Jersey and decided to take Route 13 up. On the way she had noticed while driving across the Chesapeake bridge, an unusual amount of dead pelicans on the bridge.  Yes, pelicans.

I assumed maybe they were hit by cars or something else, that was until I began to notice something very strange.  All of the dead pelicans were exactly about a quarter from each other, all lined up on the left side of the bridge with other birds around the body. Scary thing was... The bodies were not mangled at all.  Almost like they just fell from the sky and were strategically placed like that.

This went on for a while but before we exited the bridge when we saw lights in the water shaped like a diamond. The colors were blue, then red and then seemed to rotate and move around, then disappeared. I was freaked out because while off the bridge, you still have a good visual of the water and the lights were still there.

If anyone was in the Virginia area that night, you may remember that the sky was really clear and there was seemingly more stars out.

The connection by the way, the pelicans and the lights were more than a coincidence. I hope there is someone out there who can back me up.  From what I've read, there was numerous sightings that night.

Report:
We had been at a friends house outside Madison, GA, for dinner and stayed to watch a football game. After the game there were 9 of us standing outside talking and getting ready to leave. The time was approximately 11:45 PM.

The owner of the house noticed an extremely bright light in the sky just above the treeline that, at first, seemed stationary at an approximate distance of one to two miles (best estimate without knowing the exact size of the object). The light began to move slowly, at times getting closer but moving on a northwesterly course. We observed the object for approximately 15 minutes before it disappeared behind the far treeline. It was clearly not an airplane or helicopter, but we thought it might be a blimp. However, there were no collision lights visible on the object, only bright whitish-blue lights covering what appeared to be the length of the object. The object seemed to glow.

When viewing it through binoculars, the object appeared to have a dome-like structure on the top and a glowing ring encircling the bottom of the object. We could hear no sound coming from the object as it moved.

The overwhelming reaction from everyone was that it was like nothing anyone of us had ever seen before. A couple of us kept saying that it had to be a blimp, simply because that was the only thing we knew of that would be moving at that speed and altitude. Several people thought we should call the police, but we decided not to for the sake of seeming like we were crazy. My wife, son and I had about a 65 min drive home. When we got home she was still so shaken that she did not want to go into the house alone or go outside when I took our dogs out.

At 12:01 AM a friend in Monroe, GA, approximately 15 miles to the northwest of the location from which we observed the object, sent us a text message that she had just seen the same object pass overhead. Her description of the object was similar to our observation - an oval object with what appeared to be a ring around it moving slowly with bright lights covering it.

Report:
Driving along Salem Road from Interstate 20 towards Brown Bridge Road. Object caught my eye because it was too big to be a plane, the shape was different and the lighting was solid. The shape was blimp like, but the shape was almost like a domed serving platter. the object first appeared to be hovering and then it was moving off towards the West (I think). I was trying to drive and keep the object in my view. I did stop and try to get a better look, but then the trees blocked my sight. It was also moving away from me and getting smaller.

As I lost site, I got back on Salem Road and turned onto Brown Bridge Road heading towards Mcdonough. I caught site of the object again but it was moving away and the trees were blocking my view. I tried to keep up with it and eventually lost it completely.

I remember feeling like I could not be the only one seeing this. I thought about it just being a blimp, but the time and the look did not make me believe it was anything short of abnormal. After arriving home, I searched the skies without any luck. I immediately searched the internet to see if anyone had reported seeing it. I know that I saw something other than an ordinary aircraft.

I regret not having a camera available to get a picture.

Wyoming- Photo of Disc-like object

Report:
I was with my family in The Grand Tetons about four to five years ago when i was 11 (i am now 16). We were at a lake there and i wanted to take a picture of the mountains behind the water. So, I took two pictures; both within the same minute and probably only a few seconds apart.

The first picture shows a wide view of the lake, including the portion that is the second picture, and has no objects that resemble the significant object in the second picture.

The second picture is altogether a different picture in which I had the same angle as the first, only I zoomed the camera in a little and took the picture only a few seconds after. You'll notice that in the second picture there is an apparently fast-moving, rounded disc-like object in the sky. This object didn't appear anywhere in the first picture, which is strange considering the larger view and the fact that it was only taken a few seconds earlier.

I hadn't noticed the image until later in the trip (I hadn't reviewed the pictures until later) when we put the pictures on the computer and viewed them all. The pictures interested my family and me, but we never did anything about them.

The third picture I enclosed is just a magnification of the section in the second picture of the object. That's the most clarity my computer can give me at the amount of magnification that I did; at least to my knowledge. I wish there were some way that i knew of to enhance the photos, but I have neither the technology or the resources.

Tuscumbia, Alabama - Pilots report an unidentified light

Report:
Stepped outside at 12:45 am for a smoke before going to bed. I am a professional pilot and somewhat of an amateur astronomer. As is my habit, I scanned the sky for aircraft and identified Jupiter, Pleiades. Taurus, Orion, Betelgeuse, Sirius, etc. It was then that I noticed a flash of an approximare magnitude of Sirius about 15 degrees SE of Betelgeuse near Procyon.

The object was staionary and remained so at an extreme altitude, well above the flight levels. The light was white in color and flashed at intervals of 9 to 9.5 seconds with each flash about 1 to 2 seconds in duration. The light was well defined in shape, being circular and unlike any aircraft anti-collision lights.

After watching this object for 15 minutes I went inside to wake my wife and retreive my binoculars. My wife is also a professional pilot and she witnessed the remainder of the observation.

Back outside, I trained my 9X binos on the object. Procyon was just visible inside the field-of-view and allowed me to determine that the object was not moving relative to that star. I offered the binos to my wife and noticed that with the naked eye the object was not as bright as before. After 5 more minutes it was not visible to the naked eye. I continued to observe through the binos until 1:20 am when bands of cirrus began to obstuct the view completely. Total duration of the observation was :35 minutes.

My wife and I have many decades and many, many thousands of hours aloft in everything from biplanes to big Boeings. We are certain this was no aircraft. Perhaps it was a slowly rotating satellite with the sun glinting off a mirrored surface. It was strange and we wish we had a better idea of what it was.

Report:
My parents are out of town for the week so they asked me to house sit for them, so I headed up to their house in the mountains with my dog (extremely smart Australian Shepard) after work at around 10:00 pm. At 11:30 I went into the kitchen to make something to eat and as I was washing my hands at the sink I saw 2 flashes of blue light through the sliding glass door in the back yard out of the corner of my eye. I didnt think much of it and went over to the stove.

So now Im facing the sliding glass window and as I look up I see another flash except this time its in my direct vision and my dog sees it too, perks her ears up and starts growling. As I stand there, kind of in shock, I see 2 more flashes all within 15-20 seconds of each other. So as my dog and I are standing there staring out the into the darkness, after what felt like maybe a minute after seeing the lights, both my dog and I hear a loud bang come from one of the bedrooms upstairs.

I immediately call 911 and head straight into my mom and dads room to grab a gun. Dispatch tells me to stay in the room and hide somewhere to wait for the police to arrive and not even 30 seconds later I hear the police cars pull into the driveway so I put the gun away and crawl out the window to meet them (yes I grabbed my dog too). The officers searched the house and the surrounding area for a good 20 minutes and find nothing.

Here's where it gets weird, as Im telling one of the officers about the lights 2 other officers, who were standing over at thier car talking to each other, immediatley walk over to me and start asking me questions about them, what did they look like, what color were they, what shape were they, ect... So I ask the officers why they're so interested and they tell me that they have had numerous calls throughout the past year regarding the exact same thing, and apparently another officer (who wasnt there) had seen them recently too.

Now keep in mind that this area is in the Denver metro foothills where every house sits on about and acre of land and in my parents case, the nearest house is over a mile away and the back yard is litteraly a forest. But its now 1:05 am as Im writing this and I havent heard or seen a single thing since the police arrived about an hour ago.

What I thought the lights were at first, was that it was a flashlight from someone trespassing, then once I heard the bang I thought for sure that they had broken in. Only when I saw that look on the officers face when I was describing it did I realize this was something else.

Thinking back to it now it doesnt make any sense that it would be a flashlight because when the flashes would occur it had no motion, the light was solid. The lights would just shine in place for a second or two, then go away. And the bang sound, I really dont know how to describe. It was as if someone dropped a heavy box or something in one of the bedrooms, and to be honest Im still to affraid to go in there and see if anything is out of place.

I dont know why I even got on here and wrote this, I just remembered seeing this organization on 9news a long time ago and thought that this might interest you. Anyways, that was my experience tonight.

On July 24th I met my friend Doug at Moabi Park to go fishing. We launched the boat & was about a 1/2 mile past the bridge on interstate 40 when I looked up & saw a big light comming down at about a 90 degree angle & I yelled at Doug,"Look" & we watched it come down at a very fast speed & the light was about 1000 feet from the ground it faded in color & disappeared from sight.

The light came down right over interstate 40. This was only about 1/2 mile away from us, very clear to us. Doug said what was that! I said that was a ufo because we don't have anything like that.This all happened in about 15 second.

There was traffic on Interstate 40 so I presume somebody else saw it to, they would have to be going west tho.

Triangle Over Ft. Bragg, Austin, Texas

I was heading northbound on 183 hwy after leaving the airport. I noticed a dark triangle shaped craft moving very slowly over the army base area about 45 degrees up and to the left side of my vehicle, moving southward towards the airport.   It almost flew right above me so I pulled the van over to the side of the road and stopped the car just to get a better view of it.

It had a light on each angle and two more lights toward the middle of the bottom. I watched it fly congruent to a jetliner as it was passing it by. The jet wasn't very close to this object but this triangle object was very low to the ground. There were no apparent landing gear, it was just kinda cautiously approaching the airport. It disappeared to the south after about 3 minutes...Since, it passed over the army base really low it gave me the impression that this was an experimental government aircraft.

This triangle was a little bigger than a 747 wingspan wise. This is the best description I can give. This is genuine. I don't have any photos because it was too dark and my cell phone takes lousy pics. The attached pic is kinda what it looked like to me, just that the craft I saw was gunshot metal color.

Lights over San Antonio

Report:
I was sitting on my back porch after having supper when I noticed a light moving from the west to the east. It was about as bright as the stars I could see and it's movement was what caught my eye. This was about 6:30pm. It was traveling about the speed that a satellite would travel as seen from the ground. I watched it for about 15 seconds before it disappeared behind a tree to the east of me.

About five minutes later, as I was again scanning the sky, I saw another light flare up above a tree in my front yard, due south of my position. I didn't see the light until it flared on but I determined that it was moving from the southwest to the northeast. This time the light flared on for about two seconds then dimmed out for about two seconds then came back on. It did this three times before dimming out for good. I kept watching in the direction it was moving but didn't see it again.

About five minutes after this another light flared on in about the same location as the one before this but this time it was traveling south to north. This one stayed lit for about five seconds before dimming out and disappearing. I again tracked it's course but didn't see it again.

About five minutes later another light flared on what seemed to the west of my house. This time it was moving from the north to the south. The light stayed lit for about six to seven seconds and as it traveled south it seemed to zigzag slightly then it dimmed out and disappeared. I, again, scanned the direction it traveled and didn't see it again. This whole episode has me excited.

Report:
I exited my car, at the 1300 block of Woodway, in Houston, Tx. I looked up, and noticed this long trail in the sky.  I've never seen a trail like that, so I started taking pictures of it with my iphone. I work with a former Marine, and when I pointed to it in the sky he could not identify it.

We went into a nearby restaurant, and I continued to watch the object, from the window, for about 25 minutes. I noticed the object make several turns, but it always appeared to be going in the same direction (down).  By the time we finished dinner, it was dark and I could not see the object.

At first, I thought the object was probably a jet. But, I later zoomed into the pictures, and noticed that the object appeared disc-like.

Report:
As we turned east from Cedar Bayou Rd onto Massey Tomkins Rd in Baytown at 18:05, we noticed 8 or 9 lights flying in a loose formation from the southeast to the northwest at between 500 ft and 1000 ft altitude.

The lights were dimmer than halogen lights. They almost reminded us of Japanese lanterns, but the lights were not growing in intensity or decreasing in intensity as you would expect candle lights.

The wind at that time was blowing out of the south/southwest, so I assumed that the lighted objects were self-powered. However, there was no sound coming from them.

If they were small planes or ultralight craft, we should've heard some type of noise. I turned into a driveway on Raccoon Road to get out of the car and get a better look. At that point, the objects headed in a more northerly direction. There were two more that came from the same direction as the others that appeared to be speeding up to catch up with the original group.

At that height, they appeared to be going approximately 50 to 75 mph.
We watched the lights head northerly until they were out of eye sight.
Is there any way to verify if there was an ultralight flight club that would've been out for the day?

Summary: Since November 6th my family has been seing this in the sky on clear nights.

Report:
Since November 6th every clear night we have been seeing this object in the southeastern part of the sky in Spring, Texas. It has moved farther away since the first night we observed it. It now appears smaller so I have no idea how far away it is. It stays in the exact same location for at least an hour or more with red, green and amber lights that pulse and it goes from a bright white to a dim glow at times.

When it does move it is at an extremely slow rate and then it remains stationary for another long period of time. We never see it before 2:00 a.m. and it is always gone by 5:00a.m. CST. I would really like to know what this object is.

I'm thinking about buying a good telescope just so I can determine what it is. I have been viewing it through binoculars and have been unable to get a photograph of it.

1. I was in my back yard taking the dog outside.
2. I thought it was an airplane. However, it remained stationary and did not move for hours.
3. I thought is was an airplane.
4. It remained stationary and had these pulsing red, green,and amber lights. It also would dim from a bright white to a dull glow when airplanes would go above or below it.
5. On the first night it was a euphoric feeling that I had seen something so unusual. However, now that it keeps coming back night after night I am frustrated that I cannot determine what it is and why it is here.
6. It usually goes behind trees or objects and fades away.

Report:
1. We where sitting on in the living room watching TV and I looked out the glass door and saw a weird contrail that was not there 5 minutes before.

My Daughter and my wife, and I went outside to get a better look and to check out the rest of the sky.
I took pictures and will post with this report. The direction of the contrail was 278 degrees west of my location at 1705 hrs. through 1815 hrs. Dark.

The contrail seemed to appear out of nowhere and the angle of turn was 90 dergrees. As far as I know we have no aircraft that can make that kind of angle at speed fast enough to creat a contrail.

3. a really weird looking contrail.
4. It was more like the aftermath or leavings of the object.
5. Agitated and Anxious.
6. It got dark.

note:
It might be important to know that there where clouds in the area and these clouds where moving with the breeze but the

Contrail remained stationary.

Summary: Several ufo's seen moving from the northeast to the southwest over Houston

Report:
I first sited aprox 20 silver disc shaped objects flying in formation from the northeast headed towards the southwest at aprox 25 - 30k feet.

At first glance I thought they were geese however after watching them for a few minutes I realized they were not birds but silver discs and they were rotating and reflecting bright light as they turned.

I ran in the house and got my video camera that I had rigged up after seeing these things earlier in the month I wanted to see if I could get a close up view of them if I ever saw them again. I filmed these objects back on November 6th but the video was kind of shaky so this time I was prepared with a tripod and a 500x zoom lens.

When I returned outside with my camera the first group was gone and I saw another large group flying over but they disappeared by the time I got my camera setup to start filming. I gazed into the sky for several minutes when I saw 2 single discs flying over and I filmed them as well as several others over the next 45 minutes. Some were silver rotating discs that flashed bright lite as they turned others were a brite fire orange/red color.

I have several minutes of video if anyone is interested they can contact me. These objects can be seen almost on any day when the sky is very clear with no haze watch for what may seem to be a star like object high in the sky over Houston Texas.

The video I am uploading shows one disc and another zoom past it from the bottom of the screen to the top left corner. The video was shot with a Sony TRV-730 Hi8 video and a 500x zoom lens. I have several more minutes video available for the asking.

Summary:   At any given time about ten objects in sky all around. Objects had multiple light arrays and colors strobing, flashing and pulsing.   

Report:
On the evening of Nov. 27. my nephew and I exited my house to ride ATV to check hog trap. We first noticed a bright low altitude light moving southwesterly. It was silent and seemed to be floating along like a fishing bobber in the water.

Object was relatively close but not discernible by the naked eye. I ran back in and grabed some binoculars. I could not believe what I was seeing. It had a disc shaped Helm that was a row of lights. These lights were a bright whitish blue kind of color. They were pulsing from one end of arc to the other and also flashing in random sequences as well. I gave my nephew the binoculars and immediately started saying I dont believe this something is not right. Its a disc Its a disc.

We were both a bit in dis-belief. The object was vanishing behind a north-south fence/tree line. We drove around and out into the open in front pasture. Here most all of the sky is visible. We proceeded to watch the object until it stopped and appeared to hover in one spot far off above the southwest horizion. Upon gazing around the sky we started to notice several objects all over the sky. There were several that were flying low on the northwestern horizon headed southwest.

At first they were bright yellowish lights and appeared quite large. They would begin to flash and display different colors of light. Some times there were three to four of these in fairly close proximity. Some times they moved toward each other and at other times they would almost touch and then move away from each other one heading northward and the other southward, both moving at the same rate.

There were also objects moving south to north. These would fly almost directly over head and made almost no noise. They sounded kinda like a jet engine,but with a much quieter tone. These are what I call the flying bars. They had two whitish yellow lights on each end. In between were several different lights flashing, pulsing, and possibly changing color. It was hard to tell with our crappy binoculars but you could definitely see the lights on these objects.

There were also objects that were rectangular flying light panels. These objects had the most lights and the most different colors. There were reds, blues, greens, ambers, white, orange, purple, and possibly more. All flashing, pulsing, some steady, some blinking and some possibly moving. The objects moved at a fairly slow rate of speed but speed up and slow down as well as go up and down at times appearing to just "float" around.

We also witnessed triangular shaped light arrays on some of these objects. These had bright whitish blue lights on three points with many other lights in between and inside the triangular shape. I was watching a stationary very bright orangish one low in the southwest sky. It pulsed brightly and vanished. Then there were several smaller flashing flying objects.

My report is a little scattered because I was really rattled by all this and there was so much happening. We watched the show in total disbelief for about an hour. Upon a break for some turkey day leftovers we both independently drew simple pictures/diagrams of what we had witnessed. We drew three of the same objects and two that were quite similar. We saw triangular, disc-shaped, square/rectangular objects.The only really good closeup view was of the initial craft with a definite arc of lights on its helm.

At approximately ten p.m. I went back out on ATV and almost all activity had stopped. There were still a couple of strange objects around but nothing like what we had previously witnessed. Its about eleven on Sunday morning so my details are a bit lacking. We never could really see what the objects were or looked like except for the amazing number, color, and actions of the lights on these craft.

I have seen some weird stuff in my day but this takes the cake. I live on the outside test loop for Majors Field in Greenville, Texas. The air force has taken control of some stuff out there. I dont know if there is any connection but its worth noting.

Thank you for your time, and no for once I was not drunk on a Saturday night. I feel today like I'm crazy because I can't hardly believe what We actually saw. Could ten airplanes be seen at any given time at numerous places, variable velocity and trajectory in the sky for over an hour?
