Good Afternoon-

My name is [name redacted]. I'm not really sure if what I saw was a UFO. Ive searched for days now to see if there were any other sightings in Dallas,TX the night of September 15, 2012. It was about 10:45-10:50 pm. I expected to see a news report or something on tv talking about what we saw. It was pretty big. But nothing. I read a lot about sightings and honestly, im not even sure if what i saw fits the description. I am a religious person, and I'm not sure if what i saw was alien or super natural. There were about 10 of us that saw this. I wanted to know if you could give me any suggestions on trying to see if there were other reports in my area.

After replying and asking for a detailed description of what they saw, the witness replied:

Thanks for the quick response.  I was inside a mechanic garage when the others first spotted it outside. A little boy about the age of 5 started pointing up to the sky and asked his dad to look at.  When he did this, everyone that was standing outside looked up and saw a very bright "thing" in the sky.  They said that it came over the top of the garage and it was huge.  It was very low and looked like it was going to land on the ground.  They said it appeared to be very bright on the bottom and around the sides and at first appeared to pulsate going from small to large.  At one point it looked like it was flapping wings-but not in the shape of wings.  Someone yelled for me to come outside and look at this and when i got to front of the garage (where the door was pulled up)I looked up into the sky and I saw something that looked like a jellyfish without the tentacles.  It freely flowed in the sky in a shapeless form (very large). It then formed a circle and ascended up.  It did not have the typical movement described by others as a UFO...it appeared to move slowly (like a jellyfish) upward; but faster than an airplane.  It ascended up in the shape of a circle.  You could see the circle form until it disappeared. 

It frightened some people there. I think because when it first appeared over the top of the one story building, it was extremely large.  For some reason, I wasn't afraid. I was convinced it was something not natural to our world.  I felt it was more of a spiritual nature.  Once I started looking online to see if there were any other sightings, I found that some have reported seeing UFO that look like jellyfish.  I asked if there could have been something chemical that created what we saw. The fact that everyone said that at one point it appeared to flap like wings made me dismiss this theory. 

I saw a meteor streak back in February 2012.  It was widely reported here in Dallas. I was walking my dog and it flew right above my me in the sky.  It moved very quickly.  Whatever it was that we saw did not move fast like that.  It almost seem to float.  Anything you can do to help is greatly appreciated.

Orange-redish glow shaped like a parachute with fire coming out from underneath. Shapes would rise up independently and join to form a triangle. Several sets of triangles seen. Slow moving in straight path.    


Driving home at 8 pm we first saw tiny red lights and assumed they were airplane lights. But there were no airplanes. Once we got closer we noticed these were not little red lights but orange-red objects (basketball size) floating through the air. We pulled over to the side of the road, stopped the car and got out to see what they were. At first we thought they were lanterns or parachutes being propelled by a flame. Somebody was having a party!!! Then we worried about the number we were seeing and momentarily thought maybe there had been a fire and these were large embers. The object was an orb-like shape, dome-like with a fire-like glow coming from underneath it. Reminded me of a moon-jelly fish! Approximately 2 feet in diameter, the object would emerge from the tree line and float upwards. The glow was an intense red/orange/yellow. There was no sound coming from them at all. As soon as one appeared there would be another one emerging within 20-30 seconds. Three of these objects would join together in a triangular formation (above telephone pole height) and slowly float in a straight direction past the horizon. There were multiple groups (triad) but you did not see more than one group unless you were to turn and face the direction the others had been going. They continued to just float up and away. We observed several sets emerge in the course of 8 minutes. When we first noticed them in the distance we saw 6. There were only 2 cars that passed by our car and no other noises. We had no idea what we had just seen but as soon as we arrived home we checked out orange shaped orbs traveling in a triangular formation. Quite amazing and extraordinary!

[Note:  If these were Chinese lanterns, then how did they move to form such perfect triangles?  To perform such a task, the orbs would have to be under some type of control.

Bright orange star-like orb, almost like a jelly-fish, longer at the bottom

My father and I were walking our two dogs like we do on a weekly basis. It was about 10 pm and it was not cloudy. The stars shone bright, as usual. It was not an especially cold or windy night for February. We live on a desolate street with no streetlights and a lot of trees. However, we were not anywhere near the woods when we saw a bight orange orb coming towards us. It was above some houses and trees, descending, getting closer and appearing larger. We stood still. Our dogs did not seem to notice. It moved drifted continuously nearer as we stared at it. Neither of us had a camera or phone. The bright orb seemed to hover and have control over its movements. As it got nearer, I could see it had something like tentacles with the bottom being longer in length. It was bright, but looked like it had some transparency. It did not resemble a spaceship or aircraft of any kind. It was more like a star, but was definitely not a star or meteor. In my opinion, it had the characteristics of a dandelion blowing in the wind.

After watching it for two or three minutes, I decided to give my dog leash to my dad, and I began to run back towards the house to get a camera. As soon as I did so, the object began to ascend further away. It seemed to be moving in a straight line parallel to me, while also getting farther away and fading in color. It was gone by the time I got to our house. There were no more traces of it that night or the following night when we went on a walk at the same time.

My father and I are amazed at the sighting. We agree it was not a plane or helicopter, but he wants to believe there is a more logical explanation. At the time, however, we were both amazed by the bright object. It was memorizing.

awakened as usual by my dogs @ around 3:05 am i took them to a field 75 yards east of my apt.i let 1 off leash and tethered other on 30' rope. i looked up and there it was pinkish in color what looked like two jellyfish facing away from each other but connected by rigid tentacles , the rounded spear shaped ends had flowing lights with a constant hue in between ( tentacle part) remember im comparing to two jellyfish, the outer shapes. it sat there like there was a slight distortion between it and i like gas fumes but still very clear visually. it was very large, my guess if it were to be laid in a football field it would cover width and length. i know someone else must of seen this, after watching it for almost a minute i felt my female dog shaking against the back of my legs, scared, i had also let go of the rope that had my male dog sometime during the event, i looked around to see if i could spot him when ALL my hairs seemed to fill with a static electricity, the craft then shot off towards the southeast in a downward angle , still searching for it i saw what was the opposite of a falling star shoot up into the sky with a tail of light behind it, miles to the south of me. i did find my male dog back on my porch, im talking about a dog that would live in that field rather than indoors if he could, he was also shaken up badly. both dogs acted very skitish for many hours following, i feel that was the most beatiful thing ive ever seen or could ever see in my lifetime. i would like one of your investigators to contact me, this was not my imagination or a lie or the first experience ive had of this nature. its appreciated that someone finally has the brains to look into these events, thank you. im submitting this to you via ps3 i cannot attach my sketch.
