MUFON Case # 24047
Date: 1992-11-14
Location: San Leon, Texas
Summary: In the near sky as we stood in a pasture, sky lit up and an object took off to the south.
I guess I was about 22 years old at the time. My friend and I were standing in a field/pasture behind my dad's old house and property in San Leon. It was in the early evening and it was already dark outside. We were checking out a telescope, some binoculars and also shooting a BB gun. Just screwing around.
Suddenly, in the near sky (maybe a 1/4 away, 45 deg angle up), something lit up the night and streaked off out of site/disappeared toward the south, towards Galveston Bay. It was silent and we could feel the brightness on our faces. There were no clouds in the sky that night. I remember waiting to hear a jet sound but nothing came. No sound. I did not see the shape of an object, only a flash and then a streak in the southerly direction, then nothing as it was gone. Immediately/next thing we knew we were running away, scared. However, we calmed down about 50 yards later and then just walked back to the house.
The area is somewhat rural with large pastures and an old electric plant nearby. Lots of open space, dotted with a few streets and mobile homes, houses, cattle, horses, whatever people have out there.
That's all I can remember. The entire sighting lasted 1 or 2 seconds. I did not have any missing time or anything like that. Not abducted, etc. This was simply an unidentified flying object. It was not a jet, ball lightning, a prop plane, balloon, helicopter, etc.
I have tried to be skeptical about what it could have been, but have never seen anything like that before. I have lived around airports and busy skies my entire life. It does not make sense.
I don't really have anything else to lend on this sighting.

My wife an I were in the park. It was strting to get dark and we were about to pack up and go. I decided to take some random pictures of the sky. I didn't see the object untill I looked at the pictures on the computer. The direction I was facing was north west I'm kinda the skeptic but my wife is the one who insistis that I send this in and I agree. It may be nothing but here it is anyway.

NUFORC Case # S76286
Date: 7/3/2010
Time: 20:30
Location: Addison, TX
Shape: Fireball
Duration:2-3 minutes
Summary: Two bright orange circular-type objects appearing at edge of a city park during 4th of July festivities
Date: July 3, 2010
On Saturday, July 3, my friend and I went to "Kaboom Town," an annual fireworks party in Addison, TX, on the north side of Dallas. It is several acres of park ground with an outdoor stage for concerts, etc.
We were seated in lawn chairs on the west side of the park/stage area. A few feet to the west of us is a street, on the other side of which is Addison Airport for small planes.
As part of the festivities there were flyovers by vintage war airplanes, circling the park area. The wind section of the symphony was playing music on the stage as the vintage planes occasionally circled the park. Our chairs were facing the stage, a few yards to our southeast, with the airport behind us. I do not know the time, but it was still light, approximately 8- 8:30 pm.
I happened to notice and began to watch something bright orange, somewhat circular in shape, approaching from the behind the stage (from the south) travelling in a straight line to the northwest, crossing over the Addison airport.
I pointed it out to my friend and we both watched as a 2nd object appeared behind the first one. The two objects flew silently in a straight line from south to northwest. There was nothing unusual about the flight pattern, only that they were bright orange and that I had never seen anything of that color before, and that they were somewhat circular in shape.
The vintage planes had been flying at a lower altitude where you could clearly see their shape. The two orange objects were a lot higher in the sky, but low enough to appear an approximate 4 inch diameter as we viewed it. They moved quickly. Our line of sight was about a mile, and it took a couple of minutes for them to disappear from view.
We both watched and commented about it. I made a joke that maybe it was ufo’s for our 4th of July festivities. They were definitely not airplanes as we know them.
I have never seen any kind of ufo before and I didn’t think any more about it until I heard your report on Coast to Coast that there were many such sightings on July 4, and I mentally noted that we had seen these objects on July 3, but at a July 4 celebration.
There were several hundred people at the event, but I only know of my friend and I who actually watched these 2 objects.

MUFON Case # 24149
Date: 07/04/2010
Time: 21:35
Location: Austin, Texas
Shape: Circle,Oval
Summary: Molten fire ball flying steadily through TX sky
At approximately 9:35pm central time, we were at Auditorium Shores in Austin Tx, watching the fireworks show and someone yelled out " a ufo" and we looked up to see this object moving steadily at about 150mph, not sure on the exact speed, through the sky heading NW. This object looked like molten fire. It had a glowing red to it, like molten rock. It was not a meteor and i dont believe it to be a satellite on fire, because i have witnessed that before. It was not a hot air balloon nor an airplane. There were no blinking lights on this object. It was hard to tell the elevation of the object, but its elevation was steady, it was not descending. It disappeared heading Northwest and took about 20 seconds to disappear. This object was not a plane. It freaked my wife and i out, and we were not drinking alcohol when this occurred.

MUFON Case # 24171
Date: 07/05/2010
Time: 02:17
Location: Austin, Texas
Shape: Fireball,Sphere
Duration: 00:03:00
Distance: 500 feet or less
Summary: Orange ball shining light on homes then pulsed and disappeared
I was outside getting some fresh air and taking my dogs outside when I happened to look up and saw what could be described as an orange orb that has a small light (transparent) shining on the tops of homes. It almost looked like a helicopter that looks for criminals, but the orb was glowing bright orange. It then pulsed a few times, and as I stood there, it blinked out of sight. I have not drank in 9 years and no drugs, so I know what I saw. I also noticed that what felt like a few minutes was actually 38. I am still very shaken, I have never believed in UFOs or other beings, but my body feels strange and no idea what to do next. Can someone help?

MUFON Case # 24238
Date: 07/04/2010
Time: 22:30
Location: San Antonio, Texas
Shape: Triangle
Summary: Orange Glowing Object
As we were driving back home after viewing a fireworks display, my family noticed an object that had the appearance of a lantern - a puffy, triangular shaped one - that was orangish red in color moving along the treeline in our neighborhood. It seemed to be floating or drifting to the North/Northeast, not moving very fast. We stopped our vehicle, got out and stood on the street to get a better view until we lost sight of it behind trees. At this point, we jumped back into our van and drove to the end of the street in the direction it seemed to be moving, but it was nowhere to be seen. We drove around a little bit, but we saw no further sign of it.

MUFON Case # 24268
Date: 07/04/2010
Time: 21:35
Location: Austin, Texas
Shape: Circle,Other
Summary: Glowing red circular object like hot metal or burning amber.
This object did not have a smoke trail. It was silent and flew NW from Austin right over Butler Park as we were watching fireworks. Other people saw this object and yelled out a UFO. We looked up and were freaked out by what we saw. This object was traveling slow across the sky. About the speed of a 2 seater plane or slower. It was low enough that i could see the bottom of this circular craft changing colors like burning amber. I watched it disappear on the horizon but it reappear for a split second then was gone again, almost as if it had gone through a cloud and out again. But this object did not have any blinking or running lights on it. It definitely was not a plane, hot air balloon, firework, crashing satellite, or a star. This craft seemed to be under some kind of control and it just kept the same speed and elevation and flew in a straight line NW on the 4 of July at 9:35pm central time.

NUFORC Case # S76313
Date: 7/4/2010
Time: 23:00
Location: Haslet, Texas
Shape: Sphere
Duration:3 minutes
Summary: Roundish object lit by steady yellowish light
On 4th of July, we were out in backyard in Haslet, Texas, watching fireworks. A lighted object went by. Can't be sure of size or how far away or how far up it was. Sphere was illuminated by steady, flickering, yellowish light. No blinking, on-off lights. No sound. It could have been a candle underneath a homemade hot air balloon. However, we think the flight path was too straight, too fast; and it maintained exact elevation and exact direction during the entire period of sighting. The wind was blowing in the same general direction, but it was gusting, not steady. The object didn't behave like you'd expect a balloon to.

NUFORC Case # S76133
Date: 7/4/2010
Time: 22:05
Location: Dallas, Texas
Shape: Light
Duration:30 minutes (approx.)
Summary: While driving home from work on I-635 heading West at about 10:05 PM, I noticed a bright light in the sky. It looked like an extremely bright star or possibly an airplane except that it wasn’t moving.
I kept my eye on it as I was driving and noticed that it still wasn’t moving and there were no flashing lights like you would normally see on an airplane or helicopter.
It piqued my curiosity so I exited the highway and pulled into the parking lot of the Sports Authority store at Midway and I-635. I parked my car behind the building and watched the light for 15-20 minutes. There was a very light thin cloud cover this evening so most stars weren’t very visible and this light appeared to be below the cloud cover.
At approximately 10:32 PM the light suddenly dimmed to a dark blue color and became difficult to see. It stayed this color for 10-15 seconds and then faded out completely to black.
I could no longer see the object and I wasn’t able to make out any shape in place of the light. It was the most bazaar thing I’ve ever witnessed in the sky.

MUFON Case # 24313
Date: 07/06/2010
Time: 21:46
Location: Bridge City, Texas
Shape: Star-like
Summary: Two star like objects parallel to the horizon rotated to an orientation vertical to the horizon then separated at a high rate of speed.
At around 21:35 US Central Time I left my home for an evening walk around the neighborhood. I stopped briefly to speak with a neighbor who passed in his car, and then resumed my walk. The street I was on runs north-west to south-east for a short distance and then curves to a north to south orientation. As I rounded the curve headed due south, I received a text message from my son who was at work. The text message arrived at 21:46. I read the message and slipped my phone back in my pocket. As I did so, I looked up into the southern night sky and immediately noticed two points of light which I initially thought were stars. They were not blinking or flashing, were white in color, and were stationary, at about 35 degrees above the horizon. The lights were side by side, and parallel to the horizon. Within a few seconds of seeing them, the points of light began a slow rotation to an orientation vertical to the horizon, with one above the other. The rotation took about 3-5 seconds. After moving to the vertical orientation they stopped and remained motionless for about 5 seconds. By this time I had stopped walking and was standing stationary, in awe of what I was witnessing. After remaining motionless in the vertical orientation for about 5 seconds, the two lights began moving in opposite directions, the bottom towards the east and the top towards the west, and an incredible rate of speed. It only took 2-3 seconds for the lights disappear behind the trees on the eastern and western horizons. I was startled and a little frightened by what I witnessed. I am an avid night sky watcher and I am familiar with what airplanes and helicopters look like in the night sky. The lights I saw were neither, nor were they meteors or satellites. The objects were obviously very far away, and to move the distances they moved in just a few seconds means they were moving incredibly fast.

NUFORC Case # S76307
Date: 7/7/2010
Time: 20:30
Location: Dallas, Texas
Shape: Formation
Duration:10 seconds
Summary: 3 crafts with amber lights suddenly appear , then disappear
Time: between 8 and 9 PM, near dusk, partly cloudy with haze.
While working at my computer in a bedroom with its window facing south (also faces the front yard of my house), I heard some strange noises outside the window. The strange noises sounded as if there were hard droplets, hail, or a large amount of pecans falling onto my roof and sidewalk from trees outside. Being concerned that a thunderstorm was blowing in, I stood up from the computer and went to the window to look through the blinds to see outside.
When I peeked through the blinds, the strange sounds immediately stopped. I looked into the yard and into the street across the way to see if rain drops or hail were falling. Not seeing any drops of rain or hail, I then looked out onto the horizon to see if there were any thunderstorm clouds, and immediately saw a series of strange lights directly south approximately 15 degrees on the horizon.
At first, the lights appeared to be three landing lights on the front of a large airplane heading north. What was strange about this apparent airplane was that it was banked downward as if it were about to turn to the west, but it did not move from this position. The lights were all of the same amber color, with the two outermost lights the brightest, the center light more dim. The craft stayed stationary as if it were parked in the sky at an angle. The other odd thing about this craft was that it seemed to be extremely large, and located approximately 5 or 6 miles southward near the junction of the Dallas North Tollway and I-35. An estimate of the size was approximately 300 or 400 feet across (huge).
Then, incredibly, another craft of similar proportions (but further in the distance), suddenly appeared to the left of the first craft, and it was banked at a different angle compared to the first craft. The sudden appearance of the second craft was immediate, as if a light switch or strobe had been turned on. My immediate thought was that there was some sort of fireworks or laser light show being given near the American Airlines Center near downtown. Then, incredibly, a third craft, immediately appeared to the right, with the same proportions, but at a different distance than the other two craft. The third craft was also banked at a different angle compared to the others. It was difficult to discern whether the crafts were actually moving very slowly, or if they were completely stationary.
Then, each craft blinked its lights off and on (the three lights of a craft in unison) as if the crafts were communicating with each other. The blinking seemed to be in a sequence, as if each craft was a separate ornament on a Christmas tree. The sequential blinking lasted less than 1 or 2 seconds. All of the lights disappeared as suddenly as they had appeared, but not at the same time (each craft "turned-off" at different times).
All of the above took place on the order of about 10 seconds. I have never seen anything like it before. I have been searching the news sites to see if anyone else saw the same lights.

MUFON Case # 24331
Date: 01/31/1999
Time: 00:00
Location: Kempner, Texas
Shape: Circle,Sphere
Distance: Unknown
Summary: Observed orange glowing sphere wobble above horizon, orange light goes dark, followed by flare type object behind and over head of my location.
This event occured around mid febuary of 1999, sitting on the back of my truck, in my girlfriends driveway, the sun had just set, we were sitting on the tailgate looking at the neighbors treeline directly across the street, this line of trees from were we sat was roughly 150 yards away, that was our horizon, we witnessed what I would describe as a glowing orange ball wobbling slightly back and forth starting to clear the tree line in front of us and moving up. The ball was from my perspective about the diameter of a dime, if you held a dime out in front of your face next to where you see this in the air it was a bit smaller than a dime, it also seemed to be miles behind the treeline in front of us, but that was all we could see was the neighbors woods in front, I knew that he owned a couple acres behind there this could have been miles behind his property. Because it looked small but I could clearly see it was orange and round like a ball. I watched it slowly wobble slightly left to right as it rose into the air. This went on for fifteen minutes as it slowly gained altitude all the while wobbling back and fourth, once it reached what appeared from my view point maybe two thousand feet in the air the orange light simply disappeared as if a lite switch was turned off. Then about five to ten minutes later something behind and above us cast light onto the ground, very dim but enough to capture my attention, as I turned to look behind maybe a half mile back and around five hundred feet up, moving from right to left, in one motion, was a flaming ball that looked to me like a large, basketball sized roman candle ball shooting behind where we sat. I would guess its rough speed was around 40 miles per hour. It had a slight trail, and was greenish/blue with some white and orange coloring. It went to the left of our view a couple houses over but then went out of view because the land sloped down. I thought this was strange but didn't feel alarmed or frightened by the event, just curious, I thought perhaps someone shot a roman candle but because of its height, speed, burn time, and lack of sound, plus the neighborhood was quiet, I didn't know what to think it was. A month later at the same location, doing the same thing, sitting on the back of the truck, this time a couple hours after the sun had went down, we saw the same sequence of events, the orange ball across the street, followed by the flare/mini meteor object behind us, the only differance this time was that the flare/mini meteor object seemed a bit lower altitude this time, maybe only three hundred feet up, still moving from right to left, but I heard what I would describe as the sound of rock sizzling as it whizzed past us. This is why I call it a mini meteor. The first time this happened in febuary, then a month later. I was in the army stationed at ft.hood texas at the time. I was off duty and off base when this was witnessed on both occasions, the town of kempner is about twenty miles west of the center of ft.hood. When we saw the orange ball we were looking towards the south, ft.hood was to our left, which would have been east, the flare object came east to west. I did read online after this sighting that in 1947 two soldiers stationed at what was then called, Camp Hood,(Ft.Hood) witnessed what they described as flare like objects in the sky. In both events I felt normal, no missing time or any strange marks.

Summary: Red/Orange Fireball Moving Over Tyler, TX, at Speed of Airplane
I, my sister, and my two sons saw something over Tyler, TX, around 9:25 PM on July 10, 2010. The sky was not completely dark yet. My sons and I were in the pool. I put my head back to dip my hair into the water... when I saw a bright red glow approaching from the distance. One of my sons saw it at the same time, and we both said, "What is THAT?" It was traveling at the speed of a plane, and as it approached.. my younger son and I saw something behind the glow... almost like a parachute shape, but translucent looking. My son said it looked like a glare on something behind the light. But then that shape went away, and all we saw was a red fireball. By this point, it looked like a plane on fire. My older son called for my sister to come outside. We stood in shock.. it looked like a plane in flight that was in flames. We were scared because we thought it was a plane on fire and we were just waiting for it to fall... and my mind was thinking, "How can a plane still fly if it's on fire?"... but it continued on in the distance until it could no longer be seen. Once it was gone, we realized that it could not have been a plane because there was no noise, but it was moving in the direction that we had seen planes coming from earlier. There were NO OTHER reports of this to the local news station when my sister called, and no one else I know saw it. People keep saying it was a weather balloon or hot air balloon that we must have seen. Yeah right. I've seen both, and this was neither.

Summary: Meteor like object headed for house, then became a diamond like object that cruised/hovered over the house at low altitude and made no noise.
I was sitting with my friend in his hot tub when all of the sudden a meteor like object appeared to be heading for us from far out extremly fast. Once it got to us it was flying very low with no noise and was a diamond shape. It had 4 white/natural lights on the corners that didn't blink. It was cruising while over the house, then stopped for about 1 second then continued to cruise and we lost sight of it in the trees. We concluded that it had to be a ufo based on the fact that it cruised over the house at an altitude well under a mile and made no noise at all. The entire event happened in about 15 to 20 seconds.

Summary: UFO over I75 and I635 in Dallas TX 07-12 2010 at 8pm
My son and I were driving north on I75 in Dallas, Texas, just before I635 at forest Lane on 07-12-10. We were going to get some dinner.
It was 8pm and we saw a grey-black ob-long object streak out of the north sky over I635, make an impossible J curve to the left and disappear behind the Forest Tower Building. It was larger then a Jumbo Jet and performed the whole manuever in less then a second.
I've been to many air shows and can assure not even a fighter jet could move that fast and would never come that close to the ground or public buildings.
We went home and both drew seperate pictures of what we saw.
The drawings were almost identical.

Summary: A pulsing red, blue, white, and yellow object briefly hovered very low near the house then flew up into the stars and remained stationary.
Returning from a nightime fishing trip in my truck, my wife and I noticed a strange, yet familiar collection of pulsing lights above our neighborhood. My wife was dozing in the passenger seat, but I was wide awake from the driving and made sure to get a good look at the craft. I was approaching my street and coming down from the sky, hovering near our house was the UFO. It appeared to fly upward upon our approach and I drove right below it at about 500 ft as it flew north. As it went over us I made a point to look with my head out the window and made note of as many details as possible. The description is included as a sketch attachment. The colored design on the belly was neon-like illuminated and pulsed the exact colors that I often noted on other nights watching what i called "tricky stars". The ones 30 degrees from the horizon that didnt follow the path of the night sky... The blinking ufo ultimately took its position in the night sky with the other stars... PLEASE USE THIS REPORT AS THE PRIMARY....I ACCIDENTALLY SENT THE FIRST PREMATURELY.

Time: 21:45 GMT
Location: Garland, Texas
Shape: Star-like
Distance: One mile or less
Summary: very large bright plasma white ball traveling slow suddenly went out
My son and I were on a nightly walk looking up at clear starry night when we suddenly noticed a "very" white bright ball gliding like maybe at 2K ft to 3K ft high. At first we thought airplane but the light was so unusual we kept an eye on it. Speed maybe 400 miles an hour, made no sound. After 40 some seconds of viewing the bright light just simply went off, nothing there at all. Unlike airplanes this had NO blinking lights; it was just solid very bright white.
My son said it reminded him of looking into a white LED flashlight it was so true white. It was no police helicopter, which we sometimes see.
I believe I can confidently say this was no meteor gliding through the atmosphere. There was no vapor trail; it traveled level to the ground and almost over our heads. Any meteor I’ve seen flickers, this object was rock solid light.
We saw the object walking in the North Garland Texas area south of Fire Wheel Mall. This part of Garland is part of DFW Airport flight circle. No plane is ever over here unless it's lit up with blinking lights/red light/ yellowish lights. We purposely observed all planes after that they were all fully lit up and stayed that way.
Granted some airplanes can change angle and you lose some sight of the lights but this object in front of us seem to disappear.

Summary: Wife said it looked diamond shaped.
sitting on back deck with wife and noticed very bright object coming from the south. We thought it might be the ISS,until it changed course from heading north to north east and then due east. Object was moving slower than ISS and much slower than an aircraft. We call our 9 yr old to observe. After it went from view we noticed three air craft to the south(we never have that much traffic here) I went in and checked the ISS viewing time and it was 9:32 central time. I didnt get film of it as we so many as of late. This object was different due to the curved path it took.

It can't be an Airplane or Star ,so what is it?
My 11 yr. old was crossing the street at 8:40 pm and yelled that he sees a shooting star, my friend and I got up and went to the road and looked up and watched this object shoot across the sky the same distance from one side of the cresent moon to the other and then it stopped and hasn't moved anymore.
At first we thought it was an airplane but then it stopped, that puzzled us so we kept watching and it has moved a little bit from where it stopped. I don't think it was Venus because Venus doesn't move.
The object was round and had lights that criss crossed. Now it just sits there and dims then gets bright.

MUFON Case # 24610
Date: 07/17/2010
Time: 10:05
Location: Dallas, Texas
Shape: Star-like
Distance: Unknown
Summary: Non moving for the most part - 1 Big/Quick movement
I live in North Dallas. I was in my back yard taking the new puppy for a potty break. Out of my peripheral vision I noticed a really bright star. I wondered for a split second if it was the North Star, but had never seen any star (planet or comet) so bright/big before. And then realized it was off toward the West. I wondered if it was a planet, but it seemed to big. I was lined up with the waterfall in our backyard and it was directly in the middle of three branches surrounding it. I watched it for ten minutes and it didn't move; it didn't deviate one bit. I thought maybe it's a plane from a very, very far distance away moving toward me. But at the same time it didn't move, and even if the object was moving toward me it should be getting slightly bigger or smaller if moving away. At that point I heard my puppy and turned to see her doing #1 in the grass, when I turned back the object had dropped over a foot lower and about the same distance to the right/north. I'm not sure the exact mathematics on it, how big this was or how far away it was. But due to the distance it looked to be, I can't think of any plane that could or would hover motionless for ten minutes and then move in the amount of time it did and stay motionless again. The whole time I couldn't make out a shape. I just thought it looked like the brightest star I had ever seen by far, without comparison. At least 100x brighter. It was a radiating light. It wasn't yellow, or white, and there were no blinking lights around it. It seemed to have a tinge of green. You know when they o a whitening gum commercial and the tooth sparkles, that's what it did. It wasn't glowing, bright rays of light glinted off of it. I looked up stars and planets in the night sky and we're not supposed to have anything visible to the naked eye until August. I went inside to make sure everything was closed and locked, after that I made sure my son was asleep. It was five minutes at most. I went back out and it was gone, nowhere visible in the sky surrounding our backyard. I don't know what this was, maybe there is an explanation I haven't thought of. I just can't imagine what that might be. If anyone saw the same thing or has an answer I'm all ears.

Shape: Circle,Other

Summary: I saw 5 lights, one would disapear and another appear. Then all disapeared and three reappeared further away. Then just a single.
I was driving north on TX 183 just outside of Brownwood. I saw 5 lights. They were gold in color. They were in a slight arc and angled at 45 degrees. The 3rd or 4th light went out and another light appeared at the bottom of the arc. At first I thought it was a plane, but I quickly saw that they were individual lights. I was driving and I pulled over. The five lights went out. Three lights reappeared in a different spot in the sky. They went out one by one. A single light appeared higher in the sky. I tried to video with my phone, but I have never used it before and could not get it to work in time. The entire event was 5 minutes or less. The lights were stationary. They did not appeat to move. There were a couple of vehicles that drove by, and I was astonished that they did not stop. The lights did not flicker. They just came on and went off like they were on a switch.

Region: Texas
Shape: Boomerang
Distance: Unknown
Summary: Silver or titanium , 2 or more lights on bottom.
I set up my telescope for the first time to get a close look at the moon. I was doing my adjustments to see the craters I was using 25mm lens(which shows the whole moon). at that moment this Space craft ( I call it space craft because I could identify it very easily so it wasnt a UFO) It entered my view and when it reached the middle of my lens, it made a complete U turn banking left and when it turned I could see the whole surface of it very clear. thanks the light that moon was creating I could actually see the whole craft in detail. It was the best seconds of my life that I came to accept the fact that Extraterrestrials are here. It was not a satellite. I know the difference between a satellite that enters your lens from right side and crosses at a very high speed and exits your view. this thing was shaped like a boomerang and it was silverish titanium kind of color or material. I could see 3 lines that were dividing the whole craft in 3 pieces. I know what I saw and I dont know if anyone else encountered what I saw and the detail I saw. I consider myself to be one of the luckiest persons alive who actually saw it in detail. I assure you that the craft was below the atmosphere. When I see a satellite on telescope they are just a tiny little black dot travelling at a very high speed. The craft that I saw wasnt travelling more than maybe 200mph. which is very slow for any craft thats in the air. Especially when it entered the U turn, it slowed down quite a bit. I think if any aircraft slows that much in our technology it will stall and just fall out of the sky. because We do not have the technology to use to overcome the gravity. but this craft obviously wasnt limited by our gravitation. If you need any more information on this encounter you can contact me anytime.

Date: 07/19/2010
Time: 20:00
Location: Cross Plains, Texas
Shape: Other
Distance: Over one mile
Summary: Seen orange colored lights in the sky southeast of Cross Plains, Tx. 07-19-2010
I was working on a privacy fence in my yard in Cross Plains. I stepped on a step ladder to cut off the top of a post, and something in the sky caught my attention.I saw orange colored lights in the southeastern sky. There were three or four.I was squinting and trying to focus, on what I was seeing. They were disappearing and popping back up.I stuttered to the three people working with me, to look at the lights. I told my wife to go get a camera, but we just stood staring thinking they would vanish if we stopped looking. There were three at one time I remember, and they were in a triangular shape, far from each other. Each one would have two more lights flip on beside it, making three lights in a horizontal line. We watched them for about fifteen minutes and they were gone. I predict it was between eight and nine pm., because the sky was that darker blue color right before nightfall. We were just about to call it a day, when we noticed the lights. I have heard people talk about these same lights, mostly seen out of Sabanno/Pioneer in between Cross Plains and Rising Star, for the past decade now. Seen time and time again. Some people seeing them three times or more over the years. I have seen these same type of lights on youtube.I never thought they were making it up. I just never could buy into it, until I seen it with my own eyes. I seen where somebody reported seeing it driving on 183 near Brownwood and got out of the car and watched it.

Location: Midland, Texas
Shape: Circle
Distance: One mile or less
Summary: UFO then military helicopter going in direction of UFO.
I was taking the garbage out to our apartments dumpster. Looked up in the sky over the fence line and saw a bright light in the sky, it was circular and moving in my direction. It was moving really slowly, no sounds, or anything coming from it. It was about 500 yards away and about 500 or so feet in the air, when i heard a helicopter coming from the opposite direction. The circular craft, stopped moving in my direction and went off at an angle and was gone in about 10 seconds. The helicopter was just passing over our apartments when the UFO was no longer visable. The helicopter turned in the direction the UFO was going in.

Report to UFOs Northwest
Date of Sighting: July 25, 2010
Time of Sighting: About Midnight CDT
Location of Sighting: On I-35 in Fort Worth, Texas
Summary: Woman Sees Large Aerial Red Light With 3 Multi-Colored Lights Beneath
Report: I saw another large red light in the sky over Fort Worth as I drove home on I-35 last night. This looked the same as the one I reported a few weeks ago over the polo field in Burleson. The light was the same color and size only it was higher and had 3 blinking lights under it that were flashing green red and blue. I couldn't see the colored lights until it passed by me. I don't know of any aircraft that has totally red lights on it that would make it illuminate all red like that. The one I saw in Burleson seemed to emit rays outward of red. This was more of a big shining red light, but not a glowing ball. It moved about the speed of a cruising airplane, but did not look like any plane I have ever seen. I promised you sketches last time and I will see if I can get some to you!
(Note by William Puckett): This same witness has reported other sightings in the area. This fact should not discount the veracity of the sighting as she may be more cognizant of the sky. Many people don't report their sightings.

MUFON Case # 24871
Date: 07/31/2010
Time: 21:30
Location: Austin, Texas
Shape: Star-like
Distance: Over one mile
Summary: Brighter than star, about as bright as strong flare
I was sitting on my west facing balcony when I noticed what look like a very bright star way out to the east. It wasn't moving and appeared to be about 3 or 4 miles west of my location (I-35 and E Riverside Dr) and a few hundred feet above the ground. The light was glimmering like a star but was obviously much closer. It appeared very white. So white that the glimmering showed various color hues as it shone. About 5 minutes later it started to move what seemed like away from me and also north. The light did not dim or strengthen as it moved. It was moving much slower than an airplane would, maybe about as fast as a helicopter (which is my best guess concerning it's identity). It disappeared behind my apartment building and my apartment is on the 5th floor. When it disappeared it seemed to be over downtown. This really spooked me as I have never seen anything like it before and I know what aircraft look like.

we live here in Killeen Texas, and I have been watching the orange glowing ball in the sky off to the SE the past few nights. It seems to get really bright and then go dim, it will do this for quite a while before going out. This object moves very slowly across the sky before going out as well.
