Curiosity Captures Descent to Mars

On the evening of Aug. 5 (PDT; Aug. 6 EDT), NASA's rover Curiosity, landed inside Gale Crater, Mars.

The Gale Crater is a huge impact basin, 96 miles (154 kilometers) across.

As Curiosity made it's decent to the flat crater basin, the camera on the rover's underbelly captured hundreds of color photos of Mars. This video is a composite of those photos.

Report:
Not sure what this was. It moved parallel NE to SW along mopac. There are a lot of aircraft in this area but they tend to move NW to SE. So i thought that was strange.It was in a triangle shape. I saw it moving from Steck to Spicewood and lost sight of it in the tree line. It had 3 to 4 solid red lights in a boomerang shape, and there was a pulsating white light in the middle

"WARNING

Near approaches of UFOs can be harmful to human beings. Do not stand under a UFO that is hovering at low altitude. Do not touch or attempt to touch a UFO that has landed. In either case the safe thing to do is to get away from there very quickly and let the military take over. There is a possibility of radiation danger and there are known cases where persons have been burned by rays emanating from
UFOs. Don't take chances with UFOs!"

Published in 1992, this 600 plus page guide does not admit UFOs exist, the authors only eludes to the "potential" of their existence and the dangers facing any emergency workers.

How it began: The Search For The Truth About UFOs

I am often asked why I decided to become a Ufologist.  Here is why:

The photo above is one that I took on May 14, 2008. 
Location: Off Hwy 206, between Cisco and Cross Plains, Texas.
Time: 5:14 p.m. (17:14 hrs).

I was taking photos of clouds after a storm and captured more than I expected.

The photo was thoroughly analyzed by independent experts,  confirming that it is some type of disc-like object, traveling at considerable speed.

In all my years, I've seen some odd things in the sky but this object literally changed my life.

I'm sure there are many of you that have had similar experiences, so it's possible that you understand what drives me to seek the truth concerning "unidentified flying objects."

Summary: I stepped outside last night and noted a strange sound, I looked up and saw a diamond shaped craft

Report:
Im an insomniac, so I am frequently awake at odd hours. Last night I went outside to smoke a cigarette and heard a strange sound. At first I thought it was thunder, but then I noted the the sky was clear. I looked up, and saw a diamond shaped craft. The sound could best be described as rumble, silence, rumble, silence. It made me think of someone that didnt know how to drive a stickshift driving a car. Its difficult to put to words, but think of how the engine sounds when that car is being driven...the engine races then slows over and over. The sound wasnt that of a car engine, just the pulsing of the sound was like that. It was alomost like a jet engine doing what I described. Racing, then slowing, racing then slowing.

I ran back into the house and grabbed my camera, because the thing was just sitting there, then it started to slowly move off to the northwest. I only have a digital camera, and after reviewing the pictures, I was unable to capture an image.

The lights on it that were visible were red, and they flashed like landing lights on an airplane.

As it moved away, the sound continued, and it took no less than five minutes for it to move all the way across the sky.

Update on Strange Circular Clouds Near Hawaii

I received an email that appears to have come from a sailor in the U.S. Navy. 

In the email he claims to know the cause of the near perfect rings in the skies over the ocean, near Hawaii.


Dear friend. Aloha, The "rings" photographed in the sky's over Hawaii were actually reported on our local news and have been identified as contrails from high altitude fighter jets circling during joint military maneuvers presently being conducted south of Oahu off the west coast of the "Big" island of Hawaii. I have personally seen similar rings in the past involving the same cause. [Name withheld by SW/LITS]

Do I believe jet contrails as a plausible explanation?  I would have to say yes.
