NASA NEWS
NASA released that a press conference will be held on Thursday, 12/2/2010 at 14:00 ET. The conference will "discuss an astrobiology finding that will impact the search for evidence of extraterrestrial life."
Scientists on the panel will include a geologist, an oceanographer, a biologist, and an ecologist (note: astrobiologists and geologists who work on solar system objects, like Mars and Titan).
No, I seriously doubt that the press conference will be about ETs right here on planet Earth. The speculation is that NASA will announce the discovery for life, or about conditions on another moon, or planet conducive for life.
Stay tuned.
