On July 15, 2009 at exactly 5:30 a.m. in Greencastle, PA, a retired Naval Commander who served in the Navy for 21 years, saw something in the sky that he had never seen before.
What this retired Navy officer saw, was 6 yellow-white connected lights at approximately 25,000 feet AGL (above ground level). He compared it's size to one quarter of a full moon. The object traveled between cloud layers before ascending until it disappeared from view. The witness estimates that the object was traveling at approximately 1,800 MPH.
