Strange Lights Swarm Over A Michighan Lake

Report:    It was a warm evening and the sun had just about set. I was sitting on the edge of a small lake when I noticed some lights to the right of me coming from the trunk of a tree and then floating around in the tree tops.

These lights were small like the size of a lime as they went up into the tree they either disappeared or become larger to the size of a grapefruit. This went on for a while.

Then one of these lights started to cross over the lake as it made its way across the lake it looked like an elongated tube. It looked like a tube of lipstick in its shape. It had a slight rounded almost oval head. It also had what looked like 2 appendages pointing down.

These objects never had any flashing lights, blinking or Faa lights. There was no noise.

The lights in the trees were a dirty yellow color. The object crossing the lake was also a dirty yellow color with a muted hue of red at the top and had almost a silver mist around it.

Then I saw a huge yellow light come from over the farmers field it veered coming towards me on the bank of the lake.

I called my friend to come out. The light stopped over our heads and it was just above the tree top when it turned into 2 lights. Again, there was no flashing, blinking, Faa lights or noise.

This time it kind of looked like it was attached to something but we could not see. Then in an

instant the 2 lights went out over us and nothing could be seen except for a tiny red light that could

only be seen with the binoculars.

My friend left me and I continued to watch. Then I see what looks like a small ball of light fly from the ground next to the tree where I was seeing these lights. It flew out right over the lake only to be followed by 2 lights behind it that were in a perfect triangle formation.

These ligts all looked the same. They had a small red head and a dirty yellow body. Again no blinking,

flashing, Faa lights or noise.

They flew out and then disappeared. There were more of the small dirty yellow spheres either coming from the tree or going over the farmers field. More lipstick tubes of light also seen going over the lake. All these lights were so very low just a couple hundred feet.

It was starting to get cold and I was having no luck with getting any cameras to work. It was so dark out but it was a beautiful star filled night. Then just about when I was ready to go inside I see a commerical airliner fly over my head.

I was happy to see something familiar. Then just as I turned the other way from the plane I see this red ball of light flying very fast towards the commerical airliner. I could not believe it. This ball was a blood red light was the size of a grapefriut.

This ball of light was right behind the tail of the airplane and I thought it was going to crash into it. I was so scared.

Then the light goes to the top of the cockpit of the plane to what literally looked like it was going to sit on top of it. Then it went to the left of the wing and thats when I ran inside.

During the time of when things started happening that night all the dogs around the lake started barking for a good 5 minutes straight. This happened at least 3 times when I was out there and it was very loud to where we made a comment about it.

Also, a dog from a couple houses down jumped into the lake and started swimming towards were I was on the edge of the lake. This was out of the ordianary.

Huge Triangle UFO Witnessed Over Illinois

Report:    Gigantic black isosceles triangle the size of a large air-craft-carrier ship flew over our neighborhood at 1,000 foot altitude and was seen by me and significant other simultaneously.

We could see lights at the apex of the angles of the triangle and these lights were a dull yellow/white; you could see the structure of the underside of the craft and it looked like a starship as you might imagine in a Star Wars movie script.

The craft was totally silent and moving West to East at very slow speed, estimating at perhaps 15 to 20 miles per hour.

The craft continued East for another 1/2 mile or so -- still visible because the lights of the city were illuminating the object -- and it banked to the left (North) and then took off at incredible speed, estimating at some hundreds to thousands of miles an hour instantly and disappeared into the night in the North.

We were dumb-struck by the sighting. Totally silent, huge, isosceles triangle, structure underneath, lights at apex were not colored red/green or any real color than a dull dirty yellowish. No visible means of power; no jets, no sound, no hum... nothing.

It had to be antigravity being that huge and silent. And the speed as it took off was simply amazing indicating it was no blimp or other terrestrial craft as it appeared to defy physics at that point; from just barely moving to like Mach 10 instantly and gone.

We filed a police report at the time. Police took report and that's the last we've heard of it.

It was absolutely clearly seen and huge, silent... not from here. I would have liked to have seen radar records from the local airport of the time in question but whoever was piloting this craft had, apparently, no concerns about being seen so I suspect the craft was not visible to radar.

There is a military base in the same general locale but this thing was nothing like I have ever seen.

I've seen B-1 and B-2 bombers, etc., and F-114A jets, etc., and this craft was NOT any of these. It was not an Aurora or T3BA either... it was a ship like I have never seen and was not from here as best I can determine.

Editor's Note:  Here is another report that would seem to 'shoot down' the 'stealth blimp' theory.  I can not fathom how even a semi-ridgid vessel could go from a near standstill to thoudands of miles per hours in an instant, without collapsing let alone not being ripped to shreds.

Witness Reports Utah 'Spiral'

In this sightings report to MUFON, the witness claims to have seen what they believe to be an event similar to the recent Norway Spiral.  Here is the report minus the 'all caps' and extra 'periods'.

Report: The reason I enter this is it was very like yet not the same to the lights seen over Norway last night...  I didn't think to report this till I saw the news on MSNBC this morning.

Unlike the video on MSNBC "my" light was followed by a huge red flash.

After a band show (I am a club promoter), I watched a blue/green light in the western sky.

Sugar House area is on a hill in Salt Lake, giving me a huge view of the western sky.  The blue light appeared to be coming out of the Great Salt Lake, or maybe just past it... It's hard to tell at 2AM. Of my group of 5 people I was the only one sober after the rock show.

We thought it might have been lights from some desert party but after taking to my raver friends the next day, there were no parties to anyone's knowledge, that night.

At the time I thought my friend David who runs a light show, had outdone himself.  The blue/green light went away and we saw a spiral 'light show', much like the one we saw this morning on MSNBC.

I do not buy the Norway military saying it might have been the Russian's missile.  For one, the Russians would never test a weapon the day our US president is in Norway for peace prizes!!!  That was no missile and I saw np missile.

I have no clue what I saw but I saw something strange in the Utah western skies, as did my friends.  Also, a lot of people have seen weird stuff out that way lately.

Editor's Note:  It would be best if people would report any such anomalies when they see them and not wait until another such event occurs.

Could this and other similar sightings be caused by terrestrial attempts to create a wormhole, or could they be natural phenomena, alien created wormholes, an errant missile, or the proverbial 'swamp gas'?

Maybe we will one day have the answer.

Spiral Phenomena Seen in Skies over Norway- Dec. 9, 2009

Between 7 and 9 o clock in the morning, December 9, 2009 this strange thing happened in the skies above Norway. Thousands of people saw this, took photos and filmed it and posted to their blogs. It appeared in the east, moving westwards.

It was described as a spiral moving light, completely silent. After about 1 minute or so, the light disappeared and seemed to dissolve, leaving a grey mist/halo expanding, then dissolving. The green/blue lighttrail remained for hours. People describing it as frightening/exciting and beautiful.


Norwegian defence say they dont know what it is. Russians say they have not launched any rockets, neither have the Norwegian Andøya rocketsite.

It is not Aurora borealis, and not a meteor since it remained in the skies for more than 2 minutes. Russian, Swedish and Norwegian rocket sites report they have not fired any rockets. Nobody knows what this is.

Tourists May Soon Travel In Space

Virgin Galactic Unveils First Tourist Spaceship

Nat Geo- December 8, 2009—Aspiring space tourists got a first look at their future ride late Monday, when Virgin Galactic unveiled the first of its long-awaited SpaceShipTwo planes (pictured with wings folded upward, suspended from the middle of its twin-fuselage launch vehicle).

After years of teases, the world's only commercial spacecraft rolled out onto the tarmac at the Mojave Air and Space Port in California. There, California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson christened the Virgin Galactic craft with the customary smashing of champagne bottles.

Virgin Galactic leader Sir Richard Branson's daughter, Holly, announced the first SpaceShipTwo plane's name: V.S.S. Enterprise, short for Virgin Space Ship Enterprise, said Virgin Galactic President Will Whitehorn.

Virgin Galactic chose "Enterprise" for its long tradition in maritime and aviation history, he said.

"It was the name of the first [NASA] space shuttle, and it has dominated science fiction as a kind of watchword for human spaceflight in the future," Whitehorn said.

Virgin Galactic Holds a Wedding

V.S.S. Enterprise is based on SpaceShipOne, a reusable manned spacecraft designed by aviation designer Burt Rutan, which won the U.S. $10-million Ansari X Prize in 2004. (Related: fast facts on Virgin Galactic's SpaceShipOne.)

Whitehorn said the Enterprise had recently been "married" to EVE, the twin-fuselage mother ship that will ferry it to launch altitude, about 50,000 feet (15,200 meters)—the space shuttle, by contrast, separates from its booster rockets at about 150,000 feet (45,700 meters). (See pictures of Virgin Galactic's Richard Branson unveiling EVE last year.)

Enterprise is the first of five planned SpaceShipTwo planes. It measures 60 feet (18 meters) long and is intended to carry two pilots and six passengers, who will pay handsomely for two-and-a-half-hour flights into suborbital space, where they'll experience weightlessness and see the curvature of the Earth.

Monday's unveiling was attended by some of the 300 or so potential passengers who have already put down at least a deposit on a U.S. $200,000 Virgin Galactic ticket.

"We've all been patiently waiting to see exactly what the vehicle is going to look like," Virgin Galactic ticket holder Peter Cheney of Seattle said in a statement. "It would be nice to see it in the flesh."

Virgin Galactic ticket holder Adrian Reynard—an Indy-car designer, vehicle-engineering consultant, and in a joint venture with Branson's Virgin Atlantic airline, a supplier to airliner builders—called Enterprise an "awesome sight."

"The first thing that strikes you is its size," Reynard said. "It's far bigger than SpaceShipOne. This is a massive vehicle, and I can fully understand how [six passengers] will be able to float around in the cabin area."

Reynard added that the space plane is "aerodynamically beautiful."

"I know you can't always say that if it looks right, it's going to fly right, but I can see that there's been a lot of development put into the shape," he said.

Virgin Galactic in a "Race With Safety"

In the coming months Enterprise will undergo a battery of ground and flight tests designed to test the craft's safety.

The exact date of the first suborbital passenger flight has not been set yet but is expected to occur sometime in 2011.

"We're looking at a test program that will stretch for at least 18 months," Whitehorn said.

"This is a unique project and we're not in a race with anyone. We're only in a race with safety."

Roger Launius is a spaceflight historian at the National Air and Space Museum in Washington, D.C.

Launius said he's less concerned about the safety of Virgin Galactic's space plane than he is about the company's ability to make money off its suborbital venture.

"I hope they succeed, but I'm not sure they'll be able to," Launius said.

"The problem is, what's the market? There is a community of very wealthy adventurers who want to do this, but how large is it?"

If too few people decide to book a ticket, the V.S.S. Enterprise could end up being for Branson what the supersonic Concord jet was to British Airways and Air France in the 1970s, Luanius said.

"The Concord was never commercially viable. They flew it for almost 30 years as a money-loss operation," he said.

"Sir Richard might conceivably want to do the same thing."

2 Black Boomerang Objects Fly Low Over Carlisle, PA

I was outside having a look at the stars with my binoculars while visiting Carlisle, PA. at approximately 9:30 pm. Sky was completely clear, moon was 3/4 full and there was very little unnatural light in this area, which made it a particularly good spot for sky watching as opposed to my home in the city. After spotting a very bright star through my binocs, I brought them down from my face to view the star/planet with my naked eye when I see (2) Black "Boomerang" or "Chevron like" crafts (the size of 2 stealth bomber jets each) flying extremely low, side by side (but 1 was slightly behind the other in formation).They each had 1 VERY DIM, round, greenish/yellow light on each wing tip (so 2 total lights per craft that blended in with the stars in the night sky so well). They were moving almost as if they were gliding through the sky, but at extreme speed. So fast in fact, that before I could bring my binoculars up to my face to see better details, they had zipped over our house and over the neighborhood, out of sight! These 2 objects were completely SILENT and produced ZERO vibration, which was shocking due to how low they were flying. Had I not been looking up in the sky at that very moment and seen them, I would've had no idea they were even there. That's how "Stealth" these objects were! They were all black in color and didn't have a body or passenger/pilot cabin area at all (Almost Drone like). I described these objects as boomerang", or "chevron like", but in reality they were a unique shape that I had not seen before, but those words would describe these crafts best. I have seen many planes fly over my home and my families over the years and living close to West Point, NY and growing up here in PA by the Army War Barracks, also visiting military air bases all over the country to visit friends in the past, but I've never seen anything like this! The basic Physics of these crafts did not fit in with our current technology (even "secret ops" that have been leaked to the public)just because of the height in which they were flying (very low) and their size, to cause no sound or vibration whatsoever was the most amazing thing about the whole sighting! You expect to hear or feel something (even a breeze??) when 2 objects the size of 2 stealth bombers each, fly over the roof of your house that low! It's a mystery! This was my first real sighting where I was able to see the crafts up close and personal to give a description. I went outside several more times over the night, through 5am and never saw anything else like what I had seen earlier. Thanks:)

Diamond Shaped UFO over Lafayette, Indiana

I was traveling southbound on I-65 near MM 158 when I noticed a strange V shaped cloud which looked like it had a head on it. I took a sequence of aprox 10 photos at about 1 second intervals of the cloud and didn't see the diamond shape object until after reviewing the photos. I was driving at the time so I have idea what happened to the object. Since then I have noticed more of these objects that just kind of pop-up and disappear very quickly and are completely silent. So fast in fact that if hadn't actually caught one with my camera I would not know what I was seeing. Diamond2.jpg is the same photo as Diamond1.jpg except cropped. Vcloud.jpg was taken about 1 sec before the shot that actual diamond shaped object appeared in.

Radio Host says UFOs Seen With 3G Night Vision Goggles

I was born and raised in Monterey California as part of a fifth generation Monterey family. I've always questioned everything my entire life. I always wanted a way to know what was going on with UFOs, Rosewll, the moon landing, all the wars on the planet, and all the unresolved questions such as UFO sightings, and "Are We Alone". The government lies to us about everything. I can give you a concept to help prove this statement. "If you can see UFOs with third generation Night Vision Goggles, and you can, then everything else is a lie." Simply question everything from the standpoint that "what you know - ain't so." ...Now, all you need to do is look through the night vison goggles and see for yourself. It was the Saturday before October 31st 2007. Ed Grimsley came to Monterey to show me night viewing with third generation night vision goggles. Shortly after 8pm we went outside and began checking out the sky with the night vision goggles. After seeing birds, planes, moths, trees, leaves, and getting use to viewing, four fly overs took place in about 10 to 15 minutes. There were three groups of two and one group of four. As they flew they remained in perfect formation distance from one another in close proximatry as though they were in perfect unison with one another. What I saw were craft that resembled a folded 8 1/2 by 11 piece of paper into a Delta paper airplane glider. There was a tail section similar to how you would make the tail on the paper glider just like on an airplane tail. The craft were low enough to make out their description. There were wispy cload formations, but mainly clear sky. It appeared that the craft were visibly under 10,000 feet. We have a 1,000 foot mountain near by. The craft appeared to be enveloped in a wave bubble as there was a distortion field around the craft resembling heat rising. The craft were angled slightly pitched nose down like riding on the crest of a wave. The craft crossed the sky from one horizon to the other in about 6 seconds. They made about 4 to 6 sharp angular cuts in straight line formation. That is to say they traveled in a straight line and abruptly made an angular cut of perhaps 30 degrees then straight on the new trajectory until the next cut. First cutting one way then back the other way as they crossed the horizon in about 6 seconds. I computed their speed at roughly 40,000 miles per hour. The best term to decribe the experience is "surrealistic". No noise. Ed Grimsley was with me and he saw the craft at the same sighting with me. That evening I stayed up all night. I did not see anything more dramatic or low. I did see at least ten addition high flying (100-200 miles) which often did make course changes. That night Ed saw a Spherical craft low over housing area near us. It was the size of a one bedroom house. I did not see this craft. But Ed seamed very shocked when he saw it. It abruptly shot off. Ed Grimsley and I have gone night viewing about 20 times together. Each time people see lights and or craft. It is my belief from what I have seen myself, and my conversations with hundreds of other people, that the skys are full of craft and the government simply lies about it. To what end I don't know. But it has caused me to question things even more than before. Ed and I have shown over 500 people in the Monterey area that you can see the craft with third generation night vision goggles. Ed has been doing this since 1996 with the night vision equipment and I imagine has given thousands of people the oppertunity to view. But, for anyone interested, you definately can see the craft with third generation night vison goggles, every clear night. Best viewing time is just after dusk.
Here is how it works: 1. Our eyes do not operated well. We see only a limited spectrum of light. Therefore everything above and below that spectrum of light is essentially invisible to us. 2. During the day when it is bright, we squint because our eyes can't handle all the light. 3. In fact it is so bright we cannot see the stars during the day. 4. At night our eyes aren't getting enough light it is hard for us to see thngs. 5. Using night vison allows the electronic equipment to sense much more frequencies of light and image those frequencies into a spectrum we can see as a solid colored visible object. 6. So what was invisible is now visible. 7. Also illuminated objects stand out brighter in the night vision field, so there are objects we can see with the naked eye at night that are then enhanced with the night vison goggles. Other observations include experiences which lead me to believe these craft and or occupants communicate with us intelligently. When they are visually sighted, often people including myself feel a connection and and understanding that there is an awareness of being viewed. Even at extreme distances. M.O.D. Shuts Down UFO Investigation Unit

bbc.co.uk- The Ministry of Defence has closed its UFO unit after more than 50 years of investigating reported UK sightings.

A hotline and e-mail address for the public to report possible sightings was shut on 1 December because it had no "defence value", the MoD said.

The officer handling reports has moved to another post, saving £44,000 a year.

The MoD said the unit had received thousands of reports, although none had yielded proof of aliens or any security threat to the UK.

'Afghanistan priority'

In a statement, the MoD said it had "no opinion on the existence or otherwise of extra-terrestrial life".

It went on: "In over 50 years, no UFO report has revealed any evidence of a potential threat to the

United Kingdom.

"The MoD has no specific capability for identifying the nature of such sightings. There is no defence benefit in such investigation and it would be an inappropriate use of defence resources."

An MoD spokesman added that resources were being "focused on the top priority - the front line in Afghanistan".

He added: "Any legitimate threat to the UK's airspace will be spotted by our 24/7 radar checks and dealt with by RAF fighter aircraft."
