UFO Sighting by Navy Veteran in Big Spring, TX
Report from UFOsNorthwest
Depiction by SW of LITS
Date of Sighting: November 25, 2009
Time of Sighting:7:15 PM CST
Location of Sighting: Big Spring, Texas (Western TX About 200 MI WSW of Ft. Worth)
Description: My wife And I saw what looked like two helicopters approximately 8 to 10 miles to the northeast of our home. What should have made the normal "chopping" sound was silent.
The things we saw were white like landing lights on an airplane, but were too far apart to be on the same craft. The objects moved southeasterly in direction and ascended at about a 20 degree angle.
The lights got to about half their size as I assumed they were moving away from our location. Then in the last 5 to 10 seconds they were seen they turned reddish in color the lead one first and the second one a few seconds later.
Within the last few seconds one at a time they disappeared. They weren't going into the horizon. They were going up. After which there were two more, but they intersected approximately 5 minutes later.
Then within 10 minutes a 5th passed to the west of the moon between it and the star (or planet) moving north to south. This one was at a much higher altitude. I had my father on the phone explaining what I saw and he went outside. At that time he witnessed this one too. (He lives 6 miles north of me.)
An hour later I saw a 6th moving north to south at a very very high rate of speed. I was in the Navy in an air wing command and I have NEVER seen anything move that fast!
William "Bill" Puckett notes: Although the witness's report is somewhat complex he has provided an explicit description of what he saw. Given his background one has to take his report seriously.

Witness has multiple sightings in Oklahoma & Texas
Note: Recently someone wrote in to Phantoms & Monsters about UFO sightings they had in Oklahoma and North Central Texas. The report intrigues me, as I live only a few miles from Graham and have had others mention that they have had numerous sightings.
Depiction by SW
Phantoms & Monsters- In 1974, I made a trip to Pawhuska, Oklahoma, an Indian Reservation. A friend was showing me around the reservation on a March evening at about 4PM in the afternoon. He noticed something in the sky which, at first, he thought was a plane making a bank and called my attention to it.
As it turned out, it was not a plane. It was a round object that stopped abruptly about 1000 feet above the tree line. To this day, I do not know if the whole craft was spinning or if the lights around the edge of the craft were spinning, exhibiting white, green and red lights. We watched the object (which was huge) until 4 o'clock in the morning. From time to time, brightly lit orbs would come out of the bottom of the craft, would stop just below the craft like it was awaiting orders, then would streak off in the night sky and disappear. The sighting was never reported, but was seen by several people in the town of Pawhuska.
In 1985, I saw another object in Graham, Young County, Texas. It was a huge, matte object of a distinct gray with a black trim in the middle of the circle. There were no lights. No sound. Just a gentle whoosh as it passed just over the tree tops; flying low.
Since then, I have seen many "blinkers". I call them that because they appear and if you blink, they disappear. Most of these have been a daylight sighting and the craft have been small and a bright, silver color. These sightings took place in various times and places from 1985 through 2001. All in Young County, Texas. I moved to South Carolina in 2001 and have not seen any since then.

Alien gives Message to San Antonio Resident
MUFON Case # 20856 November 30, 1967
San Antonio, Texas
(Depiction by SW- Click on image for larger view.)
Report: This report is made on 12/03/2009 from a telephone conversation of alleged activity of an "Alien" being by a Mr. Jerry Faglie.
On or about 2-3 PM on an undisclosed date in the year 1968 Mr Jerry Faglie had a singular encounter with an unidentified person. This person entered Mr. Faglie's home and within the same room said one word to Mr. Faglie by a method described as Telepathic Communication. The one word which was repeated by the unknown entity several times was "Watch out."
There was then a time loss by Mr. Faglie and intermittent memory loss til about 19:30 that afternoon.
The unknown person did not make physical contact. There was not any physical marks to Mr. Faglie's body. No other lastig effects. The unknown person immediately left after inparting the one word several times.
No UFO or any land or flying object was noted at the site.
The entity was apparently adult size (unknown specifics) wearing a human type rimmed hat and what appeared to be a "Trench Coat". The feet were not obvious. The hands from bi-lateral arms were in the pockets of the coat. The head was visual identical to the large Gray type species head with the large Almond Eyes. No mouth was visual. No other anatomical parts were noted at the site.
Mr. Jerry Faglie was the only contact and witness to this event. His age at the time was about 21.
He denies drugs, alcohol or any other substance or situation to cause a change of reality from normal life.
Mr. Faglie only recalls the event if reminded about "Aliens" by the news or on television.
Mr. Faglie is an artist and does note that he both consciously and unconciously paints to various sizes of "Aliens" into his paintings. No purchaser of his art work has ever said anything unusual about this painted appearance. They appear both singularly and in groups in some paintings.
Mr. Faglie at this time seems alert and oriented and not particularly disturbed by the events but rather a curiosity about them. He has reported other far distance visual events from the 1950s previously to the MUFON National HQ according to him.
These 1950 especially 1953 events are easily confirmed by historial reports.

UFO Sighting/Abduction in Pennsylvania
MUFON Case # 20850
May 15, 1995
Location: Harveys Lake, Pennsylvania
Duration: 00:20:00
Distance: 500 feet or less
Report: It was a beautiful early morning ( 6 am.) a friend and I went fishing at a Lake a 25 minute drive from home. So we went to a a big rock across from a Park ( you can see the (old rickety roller coaster ) around a quarter mile across. There is a patch of hill than a stone patio next to dock we have permission to fish from. we decided to setup on the patio. As we fished you could see the street light across the way by the park. So we fished and some time later around a hour or two I noticed that the light didn't go out and seemed a little closer. I thought nothing of it and fished some more. Then I noticed it closer than BAM.......... I looked up in the sky and saw a Black object hoovering oh so slow above us moving toward our back. It looked like no UFOs I saw in books and other source before. The shape was like a small triangle in front with another bigger triangle behind it. I have a attachment drawing it was all black. AS I ran to the road that circumferences the lake the craft went slowly out of sight. When I ran back to Steve he looked bewildered , I said; hey man did you see that and he just keep fishing with a sort of nod. O asked him what time it was he said 10:30 am.. A hour or two disappeared !! It sort of freaked me out and excited me at the same time. Again Steve would not talked about the incident and that was that.

Will there be a UFO Commission in Denver?
Denver voters will be asked to create UFO commission
By Christopher N. Osher
Depiction by SW- Click on image for larger view.
The Denver Post- A proposal to create a Denver commission to study visitors from outer space will go before voters this summer after supporters gathered the required signatures to get it on the ballot.
City Clerk and Recorder Stephanie O'Malley sent a letter on Monday to Jeff Peckman, who submitted the signatures, stating she had deemed them sufficient.
The ordinance change required 3,974 valid signatures. Peckman submitted more than 10,000 signatures; 4,211 were valid.
Peckman said he will ask voters to approve creating the commission from "grants, gifts and donations."
The seven-member commission would be tasked with collecting evidence that extraterrestrials and their "UFO vehicles" have been visiting Earth.
Peckman, 55, of Denver, and a self-described entrepreneur, said the election on the issue would go with the next regularly scheduled citywide election, currently set for Aug. 10.
He predicted that the election would cause high-profile believers in extraterrestrial to come out and tell Denver voters about what they know.
"They will see there is an attentive audience, and that people are digging into this issue," Peckman said. "They will see there is an opportunity to say something when people are paying attention."
In 2003, Peckman pushed a "Safety Through Peace" initiative that voters rejected. If that proposal had passed, it would have required the city to implement systematic, stress-reducing techniques or programs that are scientifically proven to decrease stress and would financially benefit the city.
Peckman had suggested the peace-inducing techniques could involve everything from more nutritious food in public schools to mass meditation sessions to piping soothing music into public buildings to reduce stress and violence.
The initiatives Peckman has pushed has generated concern among some city council members who fear the threshold for ballot initiatives invites frivolous initiatives. The current system for getting an ordinance change on the ballot pegs the number of signatures required to a percentage of the last mayoral vote, which in recent years has been low.

Santa Fe UFO Encounter Was Electric
MUFON Case # 20836
November 25, 2009
Santa Fe, New Mexico
Depiction by SW
(Click on image for larger view)
I was not present for this incident. I agreed to post this in an effort to get somebody to follow up with the actual witnesses. There were my wife, my son's girlfriend, two next-door neighbors, and a third neighbor from about three doors down.
According to my understanding of the incident, my wife and son's girlfriend were having a lengthy discussion running into the wee hours. At approximately 2:30 am early Wednesday morning (possibly Tuesday last--I myself am sketchy on this because I work graveyard hours and was not present), their conversation was interrupted by a loud hum and vibration overhead, a feeling of electricity "all the way through my heart" said my wife, and a blinding bright light through our back door at the kitchen.
My next door neighbors reported immediately afterward as they compared notes on the incident with my family members that their storage shed in their back yard was levitated at least four inches off the ground.
Two days later, the neighbor from three doors down at our apartment complex happened to be visiting when mention was made of the incident casually, and he reacted strongly on the spot, apparently surprised that someone else had had an encounter.
I can attest to the credibility of the people involved. I feel their story has some merit. I wonder how many other people in our vicinity might have witnessed something similar and decided to let it go given the hour and the baffling nature of the experience.
I feel some follow-up is warranted, and I am curious to know whether anyone else in our area reported anything similar of late. I thank you.

Reported Texas UFO Sightings- Nov. 24-30, 2009
MUFON Case # 20709
Date/Time: 11-24-2009 19:40 GMT
Location: Coppell, TX
Report: Diagonal formation of lights in the night sky very close together
I was on my way to work on Tuesday night the twenty forth of November and I was watching the sky as I normally do and it seemed there was much activity this night due to all of the airplanes and normal aircraft I see. I saw at one point a flashing light which did not strike me as an airplane but it was moving spasmodic and moving in very close to what was pretty clear to be an airplane and it seemed that they were so close that they almost ran into each other and one split second I thought they had hit and then it was all ok and they were on their way in opposite directions. I kept watching the sky and as I drew nearer to work I work very near the DFW airport and always see aircraft which I know to be airplanes but tonight there were strange lights in the sky more like spheres, there were about 6 of them flying in and out close to each other and then out again and as I drew near my exit they formed a diagonal line and just hoovered there not moving while other airplanes were flying all around them. I am so surprised that nothing has been reported on TV because these were not your usual aircraft in these skies.. I wanted to stop and take pictures but I do not have a great camera on my phone and could not get a view on them so I drove on thinking I would see them when I got to work but when I got to work I could not see for the trees so I was not sure if they left or what they did. Next time I will be late to work and I plan on buying a really good camera because lately I have seen several sightings in this area... Who knows maybe someone else will speak up on this I know they had to see them however I think because of the abundant aircraft in these parts no one really pays attention to the lights in the sky..
MUFON Case # 20728
Date/Time: 11-24-2009 21:26 GMT
Location: Laguna Park, TX
Shape: Cigar,Flash,Other
Distance: Unknown
Report:
Sister called saying she was seeing a strange flashing object in telescope that looked cigar shaped. I went outside and asked her what direction in the sky, close to what star grouping. As I turned to face East, what looked and moved like a shooting star, but from bottom to top appeared and then disappeared. Then suddenly I seen what my sister had been seeing. It flashed red like, then orange and was moving in angles, changing directions, at tremendous speed. After a few minutes, it slowed down to a pace, as if to appear just a plane in the sky. At this point, I knew better. At least not like any plane I'd ever seen. It moved southernly towards Waco direction. I watched til I could not see it anymore. It appeared to have been possibly over Lake Whitney Area, which is East from my home. Government UFO? or other Origin?

MUFON Case # 20775
Date/Time: 11-12-2009 14:45 GMT
Location: La Porte, TX
Shape: Square/Rectangular
Report:
I was walking my dog at approx. 2:45P.M. looking up in the sky saw a white, rectangular object moving north to south. It was clearly visible against a clear blue sky moving about 150 M.P.H. No observable Propulsion system, no cockpit, no vapor trail, no sound, moving steadily. at the end of the event the center of the object started to disappear and blend with the blue sky. the edges turned a medium gray color and slowly they too faded away and the object completely disappeared. I looked for a good 25 or 30 seconds for any sign but the object was completely gone. It was the most amazing thing I have seen in my whole life. Call me if you have any questions, any day around Noon or if im not there leave a message on my message machine.
MUFON Case # 20781
Date/Time: 11-25-2009 13:55 GMT
Location: San Antonio, TX
Shape: Square/Rectangular
Distance: Over one mile
Report:
I read the sightings on this website daily and now have one of my own to post. Because I was curious to see if anyone else would post a similar sighting, I waited until now to post mine. Well, someone from Texas did post a sighting that matches mine exactly, other than the date and time of day are different. My sighting is identical to the one observed November 12 in Texas. Mine, however, occurred on November 25 between 1:50 PM and 2:00 PM on the northwest side of San Antonio. I was out on my apartment patio and just happened to look up into the clear blue sky. I soon saw an object that I first thought was an aircraft of some kind. Since we have two air force bases and one army base, plus civilian airports, seeing something in the sky is a common occurrence. Immediately, though, I knew there was something different about this object. As I stared at it, I could tell that it was white and rectangular, with no wings. There was also no contrail behind this "craft", and it was heading from a northwest to a southeast direction seamlessly. In other words, it was traveling smoothly through the air. At a couple of points during its journey that I saw, it appeared to be reflecting light off of it, or perhaps it was emitting something that gave that appearance. There also appeared to be some device attached to its top that resembled a radar dish. It also seemed to disappear, then reappear while I was watching it. Finally, as I was trying to retrieve my binoculars, it completely disappeared past some buildings and trees. I knew I had seen something I could not explain, and it was very exciting.
MUFON Case # 20806
Date/Time: 11-18-2009 20:00 GMT
Location: Dublin, TX
Shape: Circle
Distance: Unknown
Vallee Index: MA1
Report:
Witness was on his front porch turning off Christmas lights before retiring for the night. As he looked up from under the porch, he saw an orange ball of light from which a smaller light came from the bottom of it and moved to the left creating another (2nd) orange light. This cycle happened 2 more times within an approximate 10 second time span. Witness went inside to call his wife out, but by then, the lights had vanished. Witness described the light as being "ten o'clock high". The light was a little East of Dublin and was moving from the South to the North from the witnesses perspective. Witness indicated that the light in relation to speed, was "just idling along." Witness remembers that jets were "around" the light at the time. After the disappearance of the lights, the jets could still be heard. Witness further stated that jets dog-fight, drop chaff and flares, and perform missel-avoidance training over Lake Proctor very frequently.
