It's not a hoax, I've heard it. IF it comes to YOUR area - you may have to admit it too. Perhaps, you aren't listening closely enough, or, can't believe it IS happening when you hear it. Because, once you hear it - the soapy slippery slope is just ahead. After all, the MEDIA isn't even reporting it - BIG surprise there, right?

But, UDCC has already covered the `WHY reason' that the MSM may very well let the Sky Noise Phenomena (SNP) be where it is - IN THE SKY and ON the Internet. It literally IMO is TOO HOT for the MSM to cover as I stated in this post. For lots of reasons (click above link for more on that angle).

Note: There is a debate going on as to just what these sounds from the sky really are and what is causing them. Is it the sound of 'end times'?

San Antonio- Strange Beam of Light Captured by Security Camera

I received an email from a gentleman who lives north of San Antonio, Texas, just outside the city limits.

On January 26, 2012, just minutes after midnight, his security camera captured what appears to be a focused beam of light shining down from above and in front of the camera.

I spoke with the witness on the phone. He told me that his motion detecting security camera emails the photos directly to him, each time the camera is triggered. He simply forwarded the emailed set of photos to me.

The anomaly shows up in only one photo in the set. The first photo shows the light beam and the second photo (below) was taken 11 seconds later.

The attached photo was taken last might at 12:04:59 AM. It was taken by my security camera on my front porch.

This camera is motion detection activated and takes 4 to 6 photos when triggered. This is the first photo of a series, and shows what appears to be a strong focus light beam on my front yard. In the next photo 11 seconds later, the light is gone.

When the camera is triggered, the camera sends me an email with the series of photos. Just thought this one might interest you.

Space.com- If this week's raging solar storm was any indication, the sun is ramping up its activity — and scientists will be ready for it. By meticulously studying our planet's star, they are able to predict these potentially dangerous space weather events better than ever before.

A huge solar flare erupted Jan. 23, triggering the strongest radiation storm in nearly a decade. A wave of charged particles, called a coronal mass ejection (CME), bombarded Earth yesterday (Jan. 24). The bombardment is over now, but some minor disruptions to spacecraft and power grids were reported.

Scientists' forecast for the arrival of the disruptive wave was off by only 13 minutes, far more accurate than in the past. And with much of the world's networks interconnected and populations increasingly reliant on technology, the ability to predict and track potentially harmful space weather events will become ever more crucial. 2 UFOs chased by a helicopter

Im using my smartphone so please forgive my grammer. On 1/19/12 around 7:30 to 8pm I heard a loud noise in my house it sounded like a low flying helicopter. I went outside and stood im my front yard and looked to the east (tord Tulsa) an observed 2 objects with red lights being followed by a helicopter. They were flying low but could not make out a shape of the 2 objects i could only see red lights. Im thinking the red lights may have been cabin lights they were not navigation lights. It couldve been aircraft flying in blackouts
I can only hear the helicopter which was behind the 2 aircraft about a quarter mile at the most the helicopters navigation lights were on. They were flying so low i know someone else had to see them not to mention the noise the helicopter gave off.

Green colored meteorite falls vertically then orange orb appears and flies out of view.

My wife and I walked outside to walk our dog. We walked over to our fence facing due north. We were looking in the sky and to the north-northeast a very bright green "meteorite" was falling vertically to the ground. It is a path that was inside our atmosphere and not just skirting it. It left a burn line from about 30 degrees in elevation to about 15 degrees in elevational view. After it burned out, about 4 seconds later an orange orb lit up and just hovered there. It appeared about 5 degrees below where the meteor stopped being visual. It then began heading to the south, just glowing orange at first, then it developed a pulse, then mimicked airplane lights as it flew out of sight due to the forest across the road. This happened at 11:06 pm. The skies were clear and there was no moon in the sky. There was no sound involved with the sighting. I have since purchased a night vision camcorder. I could not believe we were seeing another one so soon after the last one I reported just yesterday to this site.

15 amber lights in linear trajectory over Kendall, FL

I went outside to smoke a cigarette after dinner and saw what I could best describe as "ember" lights in the sky. Very similar to the color of when you blow on a camp fire. These lights were slow moving in a linear fashion. There was no sound, and they were traveling WNW. After the first appeared, I initially mistook it for a standard plane, however there were no running lights, or no flashing blue/red lights, just the solid ember light. They were emitting their own light and a VAGUE outline of a equilateral triangle could be mad out, however it was a bit obscured. The odd part was that all air traffic was VERY distant, and these lights were moving linear. I counted 15 in total, however there may have been more before I stepped outside. They had absolutely no sound and no ill effects on the surroundings. After the lights, there was a fast moving jet (possibly military) that followed their exact path. I asked my girlfriend to step out when I saw them. Neither of us have EVER seen anything like it before. I lost sight of the crafts when they passed over our apartment complex. Roughly 15 minutes after the fast mover, all air traffic resumed as normal.

Triangle shaped craft 100ft above car.

I am reporting this for my daughters boyfriend. He was exiting from a park he had been at with some friends, before pulling out onto the main road he noticed a bright light off in the distance (NW). He told me that he thought it was just a helicopter and didnt think much of it, until in a instant, the craft was right above him as he was driving down the road (heading E), at that moment he observed that the craft was triangler in shape and had three bright white lights at all three corners with one red light that was blinking in the middle towards the back of the craft inbetween two of the bright white lights, after observing the craft it proceeded off to the East.

It was 10:40pm, the dog wanted to go out, as I opened the patio door which faces West, comeing over the top of the house from the East, a bright redish-orange orb, sphere, ball shape, about 8-9 inches in diameter with a tracer tail "stopped" 22 feet in front of me at around 7.5 feet above the ground and then blinked out. It really scared me! I slammed the door shut and went running for my husband, I have no idea what it was, but it was to close for comfort. Needless to say, he had to let the dog back in.

Let's pretend for a moment, that aliens have never visited Earth, that their craft never graced our night skies.

Would you throw out a beacon of welcome, to strangers who might take advantage of what we have? I mean come on, should we put out the welcome sign to any Tom, Dick, or Harry in the universal neighborhood?

What if these alien visitors are thugs? Or worse yet, what if they are the extraterrestrial version of Andrew Zimmern on the Travel Channel? Yikes!

That said, meet S.E.T.I (Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence). I have to admit that some years ago I racked up quite a few SETI hours on my old PC. Then it dawned on me like anvil dropped on my toe, that no matter how many hours you allow your PC to be used by SETI's signal searching screen saver, if the signal does show up, you're probably not going to hear about it. Oh wait, it's already has... "Wow!"

And if aliens were to announce their presence, would you really know just what to say? Hmm, I might tell them not to drink the water.

Evidently submitted by a third party, this report is of a teacher having a close encounter with a brightly lit unknown object, which hovered above his vehicle before zooming straight off into the sky.

Summary: 18-ft.-diameter object with semi-circular arrangement of blinking lights swooped down, followed truck, and hovered 10 feet above hood.

Report:
On a Friday night in the Fall of 1964, the witness, a Spanish teacher at Zapata High School, left the school shortly after midnight following a football game. As he was responsible for handling the funds generated by the concession stands, he remained at the school counting money until around midnight.

Traveling in his 1990 Ram Charger truck, the teacher drove south-southeast along U.S. Highway 83, headed toward an RV park where he lived, located about 30 miles from the high school. He had driven approximately 17 miles and was near coordinates 26.755153, -99.113982, about 3 miles north of Lopeno, Texas. The time was approximately 1 a.m.

In his rear view mirror, he noticed a bright light swooping down out of the sky and moving toward his vehicle. The object looked like a slightly curved row of bright, multicolored flashing lights - and "sparks of light" or fire were emanating from underneath the object as it moved toward his position. The witness' first thought was that it was an airplane in distress, and that it was going to crash into him.

He slowed his vehicle down to around 50 mph. He noticed 3 or 4 other vehicles zoom past him as if in haste to leave the area. In moments, the object was rapidly approaching his truck.

Frightened, the witness came to a full stop and turned his engine off, at which point the object also stopped and hovered about 10 feet directly above the hood of the truck, where it remained for approximately 30 seconds.

During this time, the witness said he saw a slightly-curved row of approximately ten large lights, evenly spaced, each perhaps 24 inches in diameter. The lights were very bright and were blinking on and off in a regular pattern. The predominant colors were orange, blue, and white. The bright lights made it difficult to see the shape of the rest of the object, which was indistinct. There were no other surface characteristics and there was absolutely no sound.

The witness was extremely scared and nervous, but after the object hovered above his hood for about 30 seconds, it suddenly zoomed straight up into the sky and was gone in a second. The speed at which it moved was extremely fast.

The witness found no physical traces on his vehicle or person, and suffered no ill effects other than momentary fear. He observed no electromagnetic anomalies. There were no other witnesses.

The witness traveled this same route every work day until 1997 and never had any other sightings. He told nobody about it, except for his wife, because he was afraid of being ridiculed.

UFO Sightings in 3 Rivers, TX- Report

A South Texas LITS investigator has submitted a UFO sighting report, for January 10, 2012.

The sighting occurred north of Three Rivers, TX, south/southeast of San Antonio, Texas.

I got a call from a colleague who lives 6 blocks away. "If you want to see a UFO go look above your house right now. There is one headed your way." Sure enough, there it was, headed eastward.. It was triangular and about the size of a quarter held at arm's length. The 3 white globes of light on the underside almost touched each other, covering the entire surface of the object and cast a matte glow. Heading due east it passed the star Betelgeuse revealing the rear of the object. My colleague said he saw 3 red lights across the rear but I did not. It was too far off for me to see. He was at a different vantage point than I was and he saw it bank to the north and continue on til it was out of sight.

Time:8pm

Later that evening, we decided to set up a sky watch. We went 12 miles north of Three Rivers to an area known to have sightings in the past. We set up watch on CR233 and took note of security lights and oilfield flares on the horizons, noting this for triangulation purposes.

At 9pm we noticed a star low on the south horizon suddenly had a partner. It sat there momentarily and then drifted to the west. After a 25 minute wait, an object had come into view and silently drifted overhead above my right shoulder following Interstate 37 on a due north course.

It appeared to be triangular, 2 inches long (at arm's length). 2 bright white lights on the front corners were flanked with 2 red flashing lights and 1 green solid light on the tailing point.

It seemed odd that this triangular object was flying with the pointed end following it instead of leading it, but was... There had been 2 identifiable aircraft noisily flying overhead during the 2 hour watch, but this was definitely different. It was silent and not a light pattern I had seen before.

So what are the eerie rumblings, whistles, hums and trumpeting that people around the world are hearing? When these sounds are heard, could it be that atmospheric conditions are just right, allowing sounds from space to be heard right here on Earth?

Are these sounds due to seismic activity? Not likely, as in most cases there were no reports of seismic activity occurring at the time these sounds were heard.

Is there a possibility that these sounds are due to some type of communication? If so, then from who, or what?

LITS News, Cases, Investigations, Training and Support Group; Also Spirit Rescue International News - Volunteers, Anyone?

-LITS Cases-

Tuesday night I received a call from a friend and associate in South Texas. My friend had received a call from one of her witnesses, to go outside her home and "look up". She did and sure enough, there was a triangle of lights, traveling over her home.

A few moments later, the witness arrived and they drove to a location to watch for this object, or any other anomalies in the sky. Sure enough, persistence paid off and another unidentified object soon made it way slowly past their location.

I await this report.

I have also received a very compelling case from West Texas. I spoke with this person at length and am sure that this case is a CE-4 (close encounter of the 4th kind). The initial encounter left my witness very ill, not long after this encounter. He has also been followed by a silver metallic orb and has experienced a humming, vibrating sound and heightened senses, particularly his vision.

The witness' job entails that he have a yearly physical, one which he had 8 months ago, receiving a clean bill of health. He appears psychologically stable, reliable and is very intelligent.

I look forward to meeting with the witness soon. Due to the sensitive nature of this case, I will not divulge any other information at this time.

I've also been asked to investigate the untimely death of a witness, to a "UFO and possible alien sighting" in North Central Texas; also a case of missing time and possible abduction of a couple in the Houston area.

At this time I wish to make note that the Gunter, Texas case is still open. I plan to continue on-site investigations, later this Spring.

After a short lull in sightings and reports, activity has started to pick up again. Between my work here at LITS and at Spirit Rescue International™ , I've been and continue to be quite busy.

-Seeking Volunteers-

Both Lights in the Texas Sky (LITS) and Spirit Rescue International™ are looking for volunteers. The basic requirements are that you are honest, have a desire to help others, have an open mind and a willingness to actually do a bit of work. Yes, volunteering means that you will actually be required to participate.

To volunteer for LITS, you will be asked to research UFO cases, conduct investigations and submit reports. This will require the basic tools for on-site investigations (a list will be provided), a cell phone and a vehicle. Most importantly, witnesses are to be treated with respect at all times and aside from sharing information with LITS headquarters, confidentiality, maintaining the anonymity of the witnesses and particulars of the working case are a must! No exceptions!

I will soon be presenting a class on how to conduct proper investigations (required attendance for all investigators) and there is a plan to host an abduction support group*.

My wife and I went outside to smoke and we noticed an object with pulsing lights of all colors yellow-white, red-blue, green-white ect. It was low but on the horizon. I immediately went inside to get my telescope. I got a view of the craft. My wife and I took turns looking at it.... It was triangle in shape and could see 6 lights around the craft. It just hovered for about 15 minutes and then shifted about 7 to 10 mils to the right. It looks small, about the size of and asprin. It is still out there as i type this, but I do not have a camera.... someone please contact me... this is not the first time my wife and I have seen it.

Summary:    Appeared high in sky like a bright planet however no planets in that area of sky.

Report:
The object first appeared as bright planet however none identified in area of sky. I tried to use my go-to telescope to identify it as a planet but my telescope did not recognize the object as anything defined in its database. At first it was stationary and appeared high in southern sky and in same proximity as the moon during that time of the evening. It slowly descended in a northernly direction. The object then hovered to the west of my ranch for 30 minutes and occasionally moved in a quick, abrupt fashion, both up and down and side to side. I would describe the object as orb like, with bright red and orange glow. My property is located in the BMOA (Brownwood Military Operations Area)and I routinely see jet fighters and helicopters performing exercises in the area. During these events there is much noise from the engines. This object made no sound as it moved. Te craft slowly traveled to the west which is in the same direction of Dyess AFB in Abilene, Texas.

The object again appeared the following night, December 31st approximately the same time in the evening (8pm) and acted in a similar fashion. I do not believe the object to be a weather balloon as it was giving off its own light not reflecting light from another source. The object seemed to hover above the tree line about 150- 200 feet. No other aircraft in the area at the time either military or civilian.

I tried to use my call phone camera to take pictures however the craft was about a half mile from my location and therefore nothing appeared in the pictures which i took.

Report:
I was pulling out of my subdivision Stonebridge Crossing, turned east on Virginia Ave when I saw a low hovering amber/gold blow about 100 - 200 feet above the trees. The light first appeared round then looked to flowing like it had a tail. Initially I thought the Home Builder had a balloon floating in the air, but there were no stings or flags coming down to a fixed point on the ground. The light was no blinking and way too big for a helicopter and was no way an airplane b/c was too low to the ground a stationary. On the night of the event it was cold out, with low cloud cover. As I approached the stop light at Virginia and Lake Forest Blvd I noticed the light had moved a little bit for where it was orig. stationed. Once I stopped at the light, the object's light turned off and a HUGE black triangle shaped object appeared with no lights, no sign of any engines, blades, etc., and made absolutely no sound. I had all my windows down and sunroof so I could clearly make out the dark object hovering there completely still. The black object hovered high enough to not reflect any ground lights, but low enough to not reflect any light reflecting off the low cloud cover. The object was blacker than the night sky that would appear between the cloud cover as the clouds raced eastward. It hovered there for about 15 - 20 seconds and then moved in a straight line East/North East with out a sound; completely stealth. I could make out the black object as it moved East/Northeast because it was darker than the sky and the clouds. Once the light turned green I crossed Lake Forest blvd traveling east, raced down the small hill and up to the top of the Hill where I had a great view of the sky and the area the object traveled, but it was no where in sight.

The object traveled on a complete straight path, like it was flying on a perfect flat plane with no swaying. It's like object put out a mast and sailed with the wind in a complete straight path with no wavering or sound. I couldn't believe what I saw and tried several drive to several hill tops that give me a clear view of the night sky and the huge object was no where to be seen.

What I saw that night has bugged me for months and months and I'd love to know what I saw that night. Whatever it was defined all logic and any technology I'm aware of.

The object appeared out of the tree-line and caught my friend and Is attention immediately because it was extremely bright. The light coming from it had a brownish hue and was at least 20 times brighter than any plane light in the sky. The light was constant and there were no flashing lights coming from it, as is required after dark. The UFO hovered north, before slowly stopping, then heading the opposite way, keeping a precisely consistent altitude and distance from my location. I am not aware of any man made machinery that is capable of such a maneuver. The object slipped back into the tree-line, and since we were in a car, I tried to drive and get a better view. About 20 seconds later, when I had a clear view of the horizon, it was nowhere to be seen.

2 days before there was an earthquake in Okla. 1 day before I felt a tremor at my house. We live in the country in a rural area. That night i was watching T.V. and heard a slight rumble, so I went outside on my back porch. I noticed a light to the northwest just above the tree line, behind our neighbors house. I thought it might be a helicopter with a spot light. The light began to rise and hover, coming toward me. The object was about 100 directly over me, when I realized it wasnt anything man-made. It was about the size of a B 52 bomber. It was a boomerang shape with a huge white glowing light in the front, on the bottom was 2 triangle shaped lights, one was red and one was green. Both were blinking in alternating pattern. The triangle shaped lights that were red and green were unlike any lights Ive ever seen. The sound it made was a quiet rumble, unlike any engine sound Ive ever heard. When it was directly over me, it hovered for about 15 seconds, which scared me to death. I jumped under the porch in fear. Then realized I had to see more. I came back out to see it start to move over our house toward the east, I ran inside the house to wake up my wife, who was asleep and didnt get up. I went back outside and watched it go over my inlaws house and hover over a gas well across the street. still heading East, it disappeared over the trees. I saw something shoot across the sky to the north and never seen it again. when this occurred my feelings were excited and horrified. While the UFO was over me, I felt frozen, like I couldnt move a muscle. Since the incident, I am still having unbelievable fears and excitement, which are undescribable. I would love to talk with anyone who has had a similar experience or has knowledge in this area.

My TV went out and I had just died in the Oblivion 4 game I was playing, so I decided to go to bed, but before I went to bed I decided to put out our 4 boston terriers. As soon as I walked outside in my backyard with them and I saw the object heading right at me. Very long the length of a football field but the width was Id say about 40 feet long, very rectagular shaped flat front divided in 3 sections top section all lit up in white neon lighting had five smaller rectangle shapes, middle and bottom had the same with larger rectangles but all the same in length, the object had a flat nose and a flat back. The object made no noise it came from the east just about 50 ft above the treetops heading West. The bottom of the ship was pitch black with neon white light outlining the ship. Ive seen blimps and know what they sound like this was no blimp and it was moving way to quickly to be one and made no sound. The whole sighting lasted less than 30 seconds and it was gone. It cleared the treetops in my backyard flew right over me and my house heading west lost sight of it when it flew over the house. I felt kind of awestruck seeing the object, but the next day I had trouble with my equalibrium and fell in the kitchen. Not one of our dogs left the porch while the object was flying over, but when it passed they all went out in the yard.

Space Station Crew Excited for 1st Private Spaceship Visit

The astronauts living on the International Space Station (ISS) are gearing up for a milestone event in February — the first visit of a commercial spaceship to the orbiting outpost.

The private spaceflight company SpaceX plans to launch its unmanned Dragon capsule to orbit Feb. 7 atop the firm's Falcon 9 booster from Cape Canaveral Air Force Base in Florida. The capsule will carry a load of food, clothing and other supplies for the six-man crew of the space station.

"We're excited about that," NASA astronaut Don Pettit told SPACE.com in an interview Wednesday (Jan. 4) from the station. "Anytime you have a visiting vehicle coming by, that's an exciting day."

Dragon's flight is partially funded by NASA's Commercial Orbital Transportation Services (COTS) program, which aims to stimulate the development of private spacecraft to carry cargo to the station now that NASA's space shuttle fleet is retired. [Gallery: Dragon, SpaceX's Private Spacecraft]

The Hawthorne, Calif.-based SpaceX is the first of a number of companies vying to fly test flights to the International Space Station. NASA has also awarded funding to the Orbital Sciences Corp. of Dulles, Va., which is developing the Cygnus spacecraft to fly on its Taurus 2 rocket.

Dragon is due to make an automated rendezvous with the International Space Station at about 240 miles (386 kilometers) above the Earth. Once it approaches within a few meters of the laboratory, astronauts inside will use the station's robotic arm to grab hold of the capsule and attach it to the outpost.

"It's going to be packed with all kinds of supplies for us, and it's sort of the first of many wagon trains coming up here to bring us supplies," Pettit said.

After being docked for about a week, Dragon will depart the space station, carrying cargo back down to Earth, where the capsule will be retrieved after landing in the Pacific Ocean.

Giant Moon Crater Revealed in Up-Close Photos

Spectacular new images of a gigantic crater on the moon were captured recently by a low-skimming NASA satellite.
In November 2011, the space agency's Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter (LRO) spacecraft passed over the moon's Aristarchus crater, which spans 25 miles (40 km) and sinks more than 2 miles (3.5 km) deep. Photos and video of the crater from LRO's sweep were released Dec. 25.
The huge and highly reflective Aristarchus is easily visible with the naked eye. But the details shown in the new photos are a special treat from an extremely low flyover by LRO.

I was 23 yrs old at the time and was walking home to a friend of mine and his parents house who were kind enough to let me stay with them. I was almost midnight and I was walking west on the north side of Yucca Junior High just a few houses away from where I was going. I believe the street is Tilden. There were two people walking towards me (a little bit older couple .. walking east) approx 20 feet in front of me .. when all of a sudden a very large (larger than a full moon) slightly egg shaped object flew over at about a 75 degree angle coming from the southwest headed northeast ... glowing a very strange lumenecently white light with absolutely no sound. When I saw it .. of course I was Awwed and a dumbstruck and totally gawking at it while it passed over head. It crossed the sky in no more than 5 seconds. It was hard to tell just how big it was or how high up it was, but Im guesstimating a couple of thousand feet maybe. I could have been as big as a football field and higher up or smaller and lower down. Dimension and height were just not decernable. I started to ask the people who were in front of me now (within 5 feet by now) if they saw that .. but they were looking at me like I was crazy and obviously I figured they never even saw it or they wouldnt have been looking at me; Instead theyd been looking up at it, so I didnt bother saying anything to them. I just continued walking totally amazed at what had just happened to me. Im 57 yrs old now and although some other things have happened to me in my life (I will not go into) this has been the only prominent sighting I have had. I live in Amarillo TX and am always going back and forth to Roswell on a regular basis (weekly, monthly) so I always keep my eye to the sky. Over the years I have spoken with many ol timers and have heard many strange stories. I even met a man who was in the Airforce(stationed at Roswell)at the time of the 47 crash and he told me It happened and he knew the nurse personally who saw the greys .... So thats my story after 34 years I decided to share it with you. Report:
We were driving down I40 headed into Nashville after the 40/24 split and saw what looked like a civilian plane with an engine on fire traveling roughly north to south. There was a stream of sparks which looked to be over 60 long trailing behind a plane (its hard to estimate distance at night). The sparks could clearly be seen and it was below five thousand feet. The only reason Im guessing it was a plane was there appeared to be blinking lights which correspond to civilian airplane tail/wing marker lights. One piece came off still trailing sparks and began to fall slowly towards the earth. Then a second piece fell off and had the same rate off decent. After both of these fell and tail of sparks ceased we were expecting this plane to start to fall from the sky assuming it was a dual engine passenger plane breaking up. Our focus then shifted to the two falling objects second of which reversed direction and travels towards the first. As they overlap the first goes out and the second continues in a near horizontal trajectory. While watching this we had lost focus of the plane which is catching back up with the second sparking object. Just before the plane reaches the object it goes out.At this point both of us have no idea what we just witnessed. By no means do we think it was extra terrestrial in origin but we are unable to find ANYTHING on the web. My friend who witnessed this posted a topix thread in the Nashville forum and received one quality response so far. I am aware there is an international airport and Air force base at the Donelson exit, but this was in no way near an approach for either being several miles west of both. I have also seen military flares first hand (Magnesium and phosphorous) and they are single points of light with faint reflection of smoke at night. These were however tails of sparks and not a traditional flare.

The crippled Russian Mars Probe known as Phobos-Grunt, is likely to make re-entry on January 15, 2012.

Weighing in at over 13 tons, the stricken Mars probe could make quite a mess, if it's toxic fuel and massive parts aren't burned up on re-entry.

Where those charred remains will fall is still anyone's guess. -SW

On approx. this date above my wife and I were sitting on the back deck of our house when from the southeast a boomerang shaped object came over head. We were both shocked. I would say it was as big as a 747 jet flying low enough to look about 6 inches across if you were mesuring with a ruler. Maybe that way you could get a heighth . There was no sound , flying very, very slow with what looked like heat around it. It was a clear night and the shape was as easy to see as the trees aorund the area. It flew over straight going north west. Some ask how we saw it at night. Now that is a dumb question. On a clear night you can see the outline of trees, houses, or what ever. The point is 2 weeks later we saw the same shape coming out of the south but much, much higher, glowing a golden color and traveling very fast. It again went straight over our house. But then again,2 weeks after that the same object came out of the southwest , higher again this time and traveling so fast I could just barely catch that it was the same object. I looked on line about the Kaufman County UFO that someome took a daylight photo of and it is the same shape. But then again we saw an object that flew straight over the house from the north to south about a year ago that the wings were swept back just a little. It was harder to see but was a little higher than the fisrt object we saw but was slow, no lights, and no sound. My wife and I asked ourselves why we have seen these over the house and I guess it is because we sit out and star gaze.Just to let you know though. I do not belive in little green men. I do believe that the US has been able to do alot more than they will ever say. Look at what Germany was doing during WWII. I would love to know what they are though. I think the American people can handle antything. Thanks for your time.

Update: I received an email this evening, from an Air Force veteran who along with his family observed a boomerang-shaped craft over Frisco, Texas, on November 2, 2011. Here is that email:

With regards to this boomerang object, my daughter, my wife and myself all saw it on 2 Nov 2011. It was in Frisco TX. My daughter saw it first then my wife and then I. It was interesting because I had just read on this sight 2 weeks earlier that it was spotted in Plano TX. I had the same feeling as that witness. My first thought was birds flying a v pattern before I realized it was too straight, solid and was lit on the bottom from the cultural lighting below. It was silent and I estimated it to be the size of 737 or so. We did not feel the need to report this because my family and I believe they are real and we frankly do not care what anyone else believes. I am a 20 year Air Force vet with a flying background. I am well attuned to flight characteristics and this was not something known in the Air Force inventory. It is either non-terrestrial or it was ours using anti-gravity propulsion. They are out there, no question. And I can confirm, the Air Force does have an undisclosed helicopter squadron. It is referred to as the "Ghost".

Report:
On 01-01-2012 at approximately 2220 my wife went to the store to buy our baby some milk. I sat at my home with my 5yr old son playing my xbox and waited for her to return. While i was waiting i heard a car approaching my home honking it was now approximately 2230. I looked out of the window and saw my wife jump out of the car, she was yelling "hurry come out here". I then ran out of my house as my son followed. When i got outside in the front yard where my wife was she then point in the sky and said "look". I stood in amazement at the object in the sky. It was huge. From what i could tell this object appeared to be at least a football field big. It formed a semi-circle in the night sky. There were six buring lights spaced a good distance from each other in the sky that formed a semicircle. The object was moving west at first towards our location. The object then appeared to begin to move North away from our location. The lights were moving together as one. When the object began moving north, the lights began to fade out one at a time. All the lights had pretty much faded when the object was already traveling north away from us. All of the lights were almost gone execept the last two lights they were dimmed almost all the way but they were still visible if you would focus on them. At this time a truck passed by our house slowly. The vehicle then went in reverse and a man asked "did you just see that" He told me he had been watching it from a nereby store parking lot. My wife didn't even end up at the store to get the milk before she raced home so i could see the object, so she again left to get milk. I then went outside in the back yard to turn off the christmas lights, so i could continue to observe the sky hoping i would see something else. At approximately 10 minutes after the sighting, i saw 3 jets coming from the west towards the location of the sighting. There was also 2 jets that were coming from the south towards the location. I then watched the jets in amazement because the jets appeared to have there afterburners on. After a few minutes of observing the sky i noticed the jets had left the location of the sighting and were moving west. Later my wife and I were inside the house dicussing what we had seen. I then relized that was she had seen since the beginning was completely different from what we were seeing together. She had seen basically the whole craft. I only saw a semicircle. I only saw part of it. We then went out of the house back to where we had seen the obect. This is were i realized that there were no stars in the sky during this incident, even though at this time the sky was clear and full of stars.

Last night around 11:30-11:45 just before midnight 2012 a party of five of us witnessed a UFO in Houston, TX in the SE side of the city. We were on the balcony patio of my apartment with a great view of the sky looking to the west from the SE side of Houston in La Porte. It had 6-7 bright lights in the shape of a circle spinning around in all directions not just from left to right. It also had a spotlight that seemed to extend about 20ft out from it that would come on at random times. It was going all the way up to the fog and flying fast across the SE area. The lights were changing from red, blue, green, gold, and white. It was amazing. I was looking thru my telescope viewfinder and could see the lights clearly spinning in formation in a perfect circle but there was nothing in between the lights or the center of the aircraft. We had binoculars as well. Five of us saw it and a friend of my girlfriend at another house was looking at it and may have gotten video. I'm going to see if it comes out again tonight. Never seen anything like it. It was either some amazing very large remote controlled device or a real life UFO. But based on the fast darting speed, nothing seen in between the lights or in the center and that it hovered at times in one place and went up to the clouds it had to be out of this world. I hope it comes again because I have my camera ready. It was only there several minutes, went down in the horizon and a few moments later came back up for several more minutes. The lights spun left to right and up and down and at angles. It was nuts! I can't find any remote controlled devices like that anywhere online. It wasn't a jet, plane or helicopter. I see those all the time around here. Also, based on how plane's look in the sky from our patio this thing could have been as big as a plane or slightly bigger.

My wife,son, & I just returned from picking up our SUV from getting an oil change. When as soon as we pulled up into the driveway, I noticed something unusual in the sky. As my wife got out of the SUV and I got out of the other car, she began to reach for our son in the carseat, when all of a sudden I noticed this strange black/greyish ball just hovering in the sky. From my perspective, it was in the same direction of the Moon. I asked my wife, "What is that?!" I got her attention, and she said "What?" looking at me. I said, "Look! Look there, do you see that black ball?" she says "Yeah, I see it." and I said, "What the heck is that? It's just sitting there!" I turn around quickly to grab my smartphone from the carseat, and as I look back, the object was gone.

After that happened my wife took our son inside, but I stayed outside to try and find it. I turned around slowly 360 degrees and the object was nowhere to be found. As I was looking around I spotted what appeared to be a jet at a higher altitude off to the far left and it looked like it was using its afterburners. As soon as I looked back at the jet seeing that it was even further, I noticed an object that looked like a long black line, almost cigar shaped, heading in the same direction as the jet, but at a lower altitude, and as I watched it, it seemed to disappear right in front of me. Then it just completely vanished out of site.

The attached photos have been manipulated to show what I saw, and are in no way geniune photos of the actual UFO's. I was unable to capture the UFO at the time of viewing, but I used the photos to give a view of what I saw.

I came outside to see why the dogs where barking, they stopped when I opened the door, very typical. =) I live in the country where city light dont effect my wonderful view of the stars. So I stood on the ramp to the porch and was looking around when I noticed a very bright orange light over the horizon, right over the tree line. I thought it might had been a helicopter because of how it was hovering, so I opened the door to tell my 7yo son to come look, since he likes to watch and listen to them go by. But as it got closer I noticed it had no sound, as it past directly over us I saw it in good detail. It was cigar shaped, I couldn't tell the color as it was dark. Neither of us saw wings but there were 2 sets of 2 white lights on each side of the craft. They flashed but a lot slower that airplanes lights do, it had 3 oval window like things on the very bottom and their was a soft yellow light coming through them. I told my son that I didn't think it was helicopter, and it kind of looked like an airplane, my creative son said it was a space craft looking for us. It continued on without sound, I didn't watch it very long after as it is really cold and I had to get my son inside. After an online search showed no airplanes or anything like this I decided maybe I should report it in hopes of maybe someone else seeing it or having a similar account, or even knowing what it was. OK, so there seems to be more major storms, even earthquakes in Oklahoma and Ohio, Tsunamis and just about any kind of disaster you can think of. So does this mean the end of the world is nigh? Uh, no.

The Earth is a living planet and by that very definition, we are here and we survive and thrive. Storms will come and go, tides will rise and fall, meteors will whiz by and some smack down, Momma Earth will belch and far... You get the picture.

Does anyone remember Y2K? You know, the New Millennium, January 1, 2000? Weren't we all supposed to be destroyed then, or at least all the computers in the world crashing at once? Give me a break...

People like a good scare and some people are just big worry warts. Just think of all the money that's been made off of "End of the World" movies, not to mention all the underground bunkers, missile silos turned condo and MREs (meals ready to eat). Hey, the end of the world is big business and people will pay out the "ends" to insure their survival, while the rest of us get Kentucky fried.

So just what is in store for our world in 2012? Well, the Earth is still going to turn and wobble on it's way around the sun; the moon will be an inch or so further away from our planet; disaster will still strike (as usual and in some form, fashion and place), people will whine and bemoan the end is coming; hoarders will go broke from buying all those MREs and underground bunkers; there'll be several Arks for sale; people will still be reporting UFO sightings; and I will still have to pay my taxes.

So there are my predictions, worth about what, 2 cents? You can use the PayPal button to help me out... I need to stock up on ammo.

CSMonitor.com- What lies ahead sky-wise for 2012? What celestial events might we look forward to seeing?

Joe Rao, SPACE.com Skywatching Columnist, selected what he considers to be the top 12 "skylights" for this coming year, and list them in chronological order. Not all these events will be visible from any one locality … for the eclipses, for instance, you'll probably have to do some traveling … but many can be observed from the comfort of your backyard.

And you won't have to wait long for the action to begin. On Jan. 4, the Quadrantid meteor shower will peak with an estimated 100 meteors per hour, according to NASA.

Hopefully your local weather will cooperate on most, if not all, of these dates. Clear skies!

1. Quadrantid meteor shower (January 4, 2012)
This meteor shower reaches its peak in the predawn hours of Jan. 4 for eastern North America. The Quadrantid meteor shower is a very short-lived meteor display, whose peak rates only last several hours. The phase of the moon is a bright waxing gibbous, normally prohibitive for viewing any meteor shower, but the moon will set by 3 a.m., leaving the sky dark for a few hours until the first light of dawn; that's when you'll have the best shot at seeing many of these bluish-hued meteors.

From the eastern half of North America, a single observer might count on seeing as many as 50-to-100 "Quads" in a single hour. From the western half of the continent the display will be on the wane by the time the moon sets, with hourly rates probably diminishing to around 25 to 50 meteors.

2. Feb. 20 to March 12: Best evening apparition of Mercury
In February and March, the "elusive" innermost planet Mercury moves far enough from the glare of the sun to be readily visible soon after sunset. Its appearance will be augmented by two other bright planets (Venus and Jupiter), which also will be visible in the western sky during this same time frame.

Mercury will arrive at its greatest elongation from the sun March 5. It will be quite bright (-1.3-to-0 magnitude) before this date and will fade rapidly to +1.6 magnitude thereafter. Astronomers measure the brightness of objects in terms of magnitude, with lower numbers corresponding to brighter objects.

3. March 3: Mars arrives at opposition
On March 3, the Earth will be passing Mars as the two planets wheel around the sun in their respective orbits. Because Mars reaches aphelion — its farthest point from the sun — on Feb. 15, this particular opposition will be an unfavorable one. In fact, two days after opposition, Mars will be closest to Earth at a distance of 62.6 million miles.

Compare this with the August 2003 opposition when Mars was only 34.6 million miles away. Nonetheless, even at this unfavorable opposition the fiery-hued Mars will be an imposing naked-eye sight, shining at magnitude -1.2, just a bit dimmer than Sirius, the brightest star, and will be visible in the sky all night long.

4. March 13: Brilliant "double planet"
The two brightest planets, Venus and Jupiter, team up to make for an eye-catching sight in the western sky soon after sunset. They will be separated by 3 degrees on this evening, Venus passing to the northwest (upper right) of Jupiter and shining nearly eight times brighter than "Big Jupe." Although they will gradually go their separate ways after this date, on March 25 and 26, a crescent moon will pass by, adding additional beauty to this celestial scene.

5. May 5: Biggest full moon of 2012
The moon turns full at 11:35 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time and just 25 minutes later it will arrive at its closest point to the Earth in 2012, at a distance of 221,801 miles. Expect a large range in ocean tides (exceptionally low to exceptionally high) for the next few days

6. May 20: Annular eclipse of the sun
The path of annularity for this eclipse starts over eastern China and sweeps northeast across southern and central Japan. The path continues northeast then east, passing just south of Alaska's Aleutian Island chain. The path then turns to the southeast, making landfall in the western United States along the California-Oregon coast. It will pass over central Nevada, southern Utah, northern Arizona, the extreme southwest corner of Colorado and most of New Mexico before coming to an end over northern Texas.

Since the disk of the moon will appear smaller than the disk of the sun, it will create a "penny on nickel" effect, with a fiery ring of sunlight shining around the moon's dark silhouette. Locations that will witness this eerie sight include Eureka and Reading, Calif.; Carson City, Reno and Ely, Nev.; Bryce Canyon in Utah; Arizona's Grand Canyon; Albuquerque and Santa Fe in New Mexico and just prior to sunset for Lubbock, Tex.

A partial eclipse of the sun will be visible over a large swath of the United States and Canada, including Alaska and Hawaii, but no eclipse will be visible near and along the Atlantic Seaboard.

7. June 4: Partial eclipse of the moon
This partial lunar eclipse favors the Pacific Ocean; Hawaii sees it high in the sky during the middle of its night. Across North America the eclipse takes place between midnight and dawn. The farther east one goes, the closer the time of moonset coincides with the moment that the moon enters the Earth's dark umbral shadow.

In fact, over the Northeastern United States and eastern Canada, the only evidence of this eclipse will be a slight shading on the moon's left edge (the faint penumbral shadow) before moonset. Over the Canadian Maritimes, the moon will set before the eclipse begins. At maximum, more than one-third of the moon's lower portion (37.6-percent) will be immersed in the umbra.

8. June 5: Rare transit of Venus across the sun
The passage of Venus in front of the sun is among the rarest of astronomical events, rarer even than the return of Halley's Comet every 76 years. Only six transits of Venus are known to have been observed by humans before: in 1639, 1761, 1769, 1874, 1882 and, most recently, in 2004.

The next one will occur in the year 2117. When Venus is in transit across the solar disk, the planet appears as a distinct, albeit tiny, round black spot with a diameter just 1/32nd of the sun. This size is large enough to readily perceive with the naked eye. HOWEVER ... prospective observers are warned to take special precautions (as with a solar eclipse) when attempting to view the silhouette of Venus against the blindingly brilliant solar disc.

The beginning of the transit will be visible from all of North America, Greenland, extreme northern and western portions of South America, Hawaii, northern and eastern portions of Asia including Japan, New Guinea, northern and eastern portions of Australia, and New Zealand. The end will be visible over Alaska, all of Asia and Indonesia, Australia, Eastern Europe, the eastern third of Africa, and the island nation of Madagascar.

9. Aug. 12: Perseid meteor shower
Considered to be among the best of the annual displays thanks to its high rates of up to 90 per hour for a single observer, as well as its reliability. Beloved by summer campers and often discovered by city dwellers who might be spending time in the country under dark starry skies.

Last summer a bright moon wrecked the shower by blotting out many of the fainter streaks, but in 2012 the moon will be three days past last quarter phase on this peak morning – a fat waning crescent presenting only a minor nuisance for prospective observers.

10. Nov. 13: Total eclipse of the sun
The first total solar eclipse since July 2010. Virtually the entire path of totality falls over water. At the very beginning, the track cuts through Australia's Northern Territory just to the east of Darwin, then across the Gulf of Carpentaria, then through northern Queensland, passing over Cairns and Port Douglas before heading out to sea.

The rest of the eclipse path, including the point of the maximum duration of totality (4 minutes, 2 seconds) is, unfortunately, pretty much wasted by falling over the open waters of the Pacific Ocean.

11. Dec. 13-14: Geminid meteor shower
If there is one meteor display guaranteed to put on a very entertaining show it is the Geminid meteor shower. Now considered by most meteor experts to be at the top of the list, surpassing in brilliance and reliability even the August Perseids.

Bundle warmly against the winter chill; you can start observing as soon as darkness falls on the evening of Dec. 13 as Gemini starts coming up above the eastern horizon and continue through the rest of the night. Around 2 a.m. when Gemini is almost directly overhead, you might see as many as two meteor sightings per minute … 120 per hour! And the moon is new, meaning that it will not be a factor at all.

12. Dec. 25: Christmas evening and Jupiter
On Christmas, many will be looking skyward and wondering what that brilliant silvery "star" is hovering just above the waxing gibbous moon. It's not a star (or Santa returning to the North Pole), but the largest planet in our solar system, Jupiter, serving as a sort of holiday ornament with our nearest neighbor in space to cap off a year of interesting and predictable sky events that we all can enjoy!

Twin NASA Moon Probes Start New Year by Entering Lunar Orbit

Space.com- A pair of NASA spacecraft are ringing in the new year in grand style, with both now successfully circling the moon after journeying through space for more than three months.

The Grail-B probe entered lunar orbit today (Jan. 1) after firing its main engine at 5:05 p.m. EST (2205 GMT) in a 40-minute-long orbital-insertion burn, NASA officials said. It joins its twin spacecraft, Grail-A, which arrived at the moon yesterday evening (Dec. 31) after completing a similar maneuver.

The two probes are on a mission to study Earth's nearest neighbor from crust to core. After gradually circling down to super-low orbits, the pair will zip around the moon in tandem, working together to map the lunar gravity field in unprecedented detail, researchers said.

Scientists expect the probes' measurements to help unlock some longstanding mysteries about the moon's composition and evolution— mysteries that have withstood more than 100 moon missions over the years.
"You might think that, given all of these observations, we would know what there is to know about the moon," Grail principal investigator Maria Zuber, of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, told reporters Wednesday (Dec. 28). "Of course that's not the case."

The moon's many secrets

Scientists think the moon formed after a Mars-size body struck Earth about 4.5 billion years ago. This titanic impact blasted huge amounts of material into space, and they eventually coalesced.
While this basic outline of the moon's origin is pretty well established, many mysteries remain about how the rocky body has evolved since then.

Chief among these puzzles, perhaps, is why the near side of the moon — the face we always see from Earth — is so different from the far side. For example, plains of volcanic rock (called maria) are much more widespread on the near side, and the far side is higher and more mountainous, with the lunar surface 1.2 miles (1.9 kilometers) higher in elevation, on average, than the near side.

"We don't actually know why the near side and far side of the moon are different," Zuber said. "We think that the answer is locked in the interior."

One possible explanation, proposed by researchers this August, is that the gigantic collision 4.5 billion years ago actually created two moons. The second moon, which was much smaller, later slammed into our moon's far side, the idea goes, spreading itself over the surface rather than creating a crater.

The Grail probes' observations could help determine whether that scenario is accurate, researchers said.
"We believe that we can obtain the information that we need to test this hypothesis," Zuber said.

Formation flying

The $496 million Grail (short for "Gravity Recovery And Interior Laboratory") mission launched Sept. 10. The two washing-machine-size probes then spent more than three months making their slow, circuitous way to the moon.

By comparison, NASA's manned Apollo 11 mission in 1969 reached the moon in three days. But Apollo 11 prioritized speed, while Grail's path is energy-efficient and has given engineers ample time to assess the probes' health and charge up their scientific gear, researchers said.

Grail-A and Grail-B still have some work to do from their initial lunar orbits to get into position. They'll spend two months circling lower and lower, eventually settling into orbits just 34 miles (55 kilometers) above the lunar surface by March.

Only then will the twin spacecraft begin their science campaign. They'll chase each other around the moon for 82 days, staying 75 to 225 miles (121 to 362 km) apart. [Video: Grail's Mission to Map Moon Gravity]
Regional differences in the lunar gravity field will cause the two spacecraft to speed up or slow down slightly, changing the distance between them as they fly. Bouncing microwave signals back and forth off each other, Grail-A and Grail-B will gauge these tiny distance variations constantly.

The Grail team will use the twin probes' measurements to construct highly detailed maps of the moon's gravitational field. These maps are expected to reveal a great deal about lunar composition, allowing scientists to draw insights about how the moon formed and how it has changed over time, researchers said.
Public outreach and education are a big part of the Grail mission. Each spacecraft is carrying four cameras and will snap photos of the lunar surface at the direction of middle-school students across the country. Students will get to pore over these pictures after they're beamed back down to Earth.

The photo project — which is called MoonKam and is run by former NASA astronaut Sally Ride — has already generated lots of enthusiasm. More than 2,100 schools have signed up to participate, according to Zuber.

"We've had a great response to the MoonKam project," Zuber said. "We're still accepting applications. We can accommodate another several hundred schools into the program if there's interest in doing that."

Was a UFO in distress in the skies over New Mexico?

I had just awakened from sleep, rolled over to get my glasses, and happened to look out my North faceing window in my bedroom whenin the North sky over the mountains in the Gila Wilderness, there appeared an EXTREMELY bright, silvery, white light comeing in from above. The streak of light was not a straight streak like a meteor but had a wobble to it, like the object was spinning. It was EXTREMELY bright, like a stroke of lightning with with a slight silvery look about it. It was about the same width as a match head held at arms length. The total lingth of the path of light was approximately the width of two hands and seemed to slow down a bit the lower it got to the mountains.

At the end of its flight path, it ended in an EXTREMELY bright white flash, that lit up most of the mountain range just West of the Turkey Creek camp ground which is about 10 to 15 miles away from our trailer. About 1 minute later there was a brillient flash of light straight overhead and slightly to the North of our position. Where we live, we have a totally unobstructed view of the mountains of the Gila Wilderness.

Turkey Creek is well known locally as a UFO Hotspot as many lights of unknown origin have been seen in that area for several years. It is a quiet, remote area and requires a 4-wheel drive vehicle to safely get there. If more information is required, just let me know, and I will supply to the best of my ability.

Flaming Object and Lights Over South Texas 12/30/2011

I just received this report from a colleague in South Texas:

Report:
This morning I had a report of a silver sphere with fire on the bottom, moving across the sky above Stockdale. It had a trail of fire behind it and disappeared. This happened a 5:15.

Later a report of red and blue lights in a predawn field that would be in the location of the object's landfall.. Were we expecting any falling space debris?

The red and blue lights were seen on the ground at the Y of FM 467 and FM 539. That would be just SE of New Berlin.

The flaming object was seen just west of Stockdale, from the Y of HWY 87 and HWY 97, with a trajectory of S to N.

Sky was clear, no clouds.

Time of flaming object sighting 5:15 a.m.

Time of lights on the ground-5:55 a.m.

In addition: I spoke with the investigator by phone and was told that the object traversing the sky appeared to be a silver sphere, with bluish flames on the bottom and a flaming tail behind. Then the object disappeared as it neared the vicinity where the blue and red lights were later seen in the field.

Last night my wife and I went to bed shortly before 10 PM. At 10, my wife got up and went to the window of our upstairs bedroom. She observed a glowing object in the southern sky. It faded out. I got up and went to the window and a second object appeared. It was about 40 degrees above the horizon, and it appeared to be moving from north to south. It was much larger than a star and its surface was covered with twinkling red/yellow/orange lights. It had an irregular outline. We watched this object for a couple of minutes, and then it also faded out. A third object then appeared. I got the camera and started getting dress to go on the downstairs south patio. The third light faded, and a fourth appeared. I went on the patio and took a nice picture of this object shortly before it faded.

We are near Holloman AFB, and we have seen the strings of orange flares which the Air Force uses. These were distinctly different. The picture shows two objects one above the other. They are connected by a fuzzy irregular tubular structure. I concede that the lower object could be a burning smoking fragment sloughed off of a main flare, but, if so, then it is like no flare that I have ever seen before. Also, these were close enough and bright enough that we should have seen the supporting parachute. I hope to see them again.

The camera is a Panasonic DMC-ZS3 in the Sports Scene Mode and 12X zoom.

My girlfriend and I were on our way to visit family Christmas morning. I was driving ? she was the passenger, and we were traveling South East on Route 23 through Valley Forge National Park. As we approached the intersection near the park's Visitor Center, I looked up (towards the Visitor Center and over the outer line defense of the park) and saw a shiny, reflective, almost chrome looking object in the sky. It was spherical, maybe egg-shaped and appeared to be stationary in the sky. It looked a little like an old bubble-style helicopter fuselage...but not. I asked my girlfriend jokingly if she wanted to bet if the object was an aircraft or a UFO. We watched the object for a few seconds. I had to keep an eye on the road since I was on a curving hill coming up on an intersection, but my girlfriend was watching the object while fumbling for her camera phone. Small tree tops obstructed my view for less than a second, and then the object was completely gone. I think it shot off in a North Western direction, but I cannot be sure. It was there one second and completely gone the next. My girlfriend was not able to get a shot off with her camera phone before the object took off/vanished. It should be noted that this sighting took place less than 2 miles from a Lockheed Martin facility.

I was out on my front porch with my sister and it faces the north and east. I saw what at first assumed was a plane because i see them all of the time. I immediately noticed the object was a bright orange color that has no definite shape other than being smallish and round-oval. as soon as i noticed the color of the object, i then saw another similar object come into view right behind the first one. it all happened pretty quick, but i was saying to my sister as I'm trying to figure out exactly what it is I'm seeing, Kate, what the heck are those things? As I'm saying that another identical object comes into view behind the first two. Then another, then another, totaling 7 of these identical orange lights flying in a line, one after the next, moving in the direction of West to East. It seemed each one came out of nowhere to join the line. They made no sound as they moved across the sky in line formation, they didn't change colors or anything like that, they stayed orange. They were approximately 10-20 feet between each one. They flew across the sky and one by one disappeared as they flew up to what seemed like a higher altitude. We had called our whole family out to witness these lights and not one person could come up with an idea for what we saw. It was pretty incredible, strange and scary all at the same time. I think we will definitely remember this Christmas in my family!

At approximately 10:30 PM on 12-25-11 my son came running into the family room urging my wife and I to look out the back of our house which faces West. We looked out and saw innumerable lights off in the distance moving from North to South along a relatively straight path. We proceeded out onto the deck and continued to observe these lights. As they moved to the South, they then appeared to head more West and appeared to climb and then disappear rather rapidly one by one. As we looked to the North, more lights continued to appear. This was a constant stream that we saw for at least 10 minutes, lights disappearing into the sky to the South and West and more lights appearing from the North. I would estimate that several hundred of these objects passed by during this time all taking the same path before turning to the West and up into the sky and disappearing. I had grabbed my cell phone on the way out to the deck and tried to record the objects but the quality is not great. In fact, some of the objects which I could see with the naked eye did not appear on the camera screen while others did. I am attaching the video clip. There are some Christmas lights from a few nearby houses along the bottom of the screen, not to be confused with the moving lights which appear much smaller. We could not make out any sound from these objects.

Five of us family members went outside for a smoke during our Christmas day dinner when one of us noticed what only can be desribed as a spherical candle flame moving silently across the sky. It was maybe the size of a car?, and close but moving slowly and no light change. It hovered briefly then continued. We saw it from a couple different angles as it moved and my son and nephew who are in their 20's said it looked like a mini hot air balloon, but we all concurred that was not the case as it moved in a straight line except for the occassional hovering. After it stopped and hovered for a second time it went in a 90* turn from a hover-stop and that's when we all looked at each other and really knew that was a UFO! I personally have had other encounters, but 2 of the others were totally non-believers of anything out of the ordinary and they were blown away by this. After it took off then it was gone and we went inside.

At approximately 8:30 to 8:40 p.m. on Dec. 25, 2011, I was standing and looking out at the sky from my ground floor apartment patio, talking on the phone. I saw a light grey, roundish, filmy substance moving toward me from the southeast, traveling northwesterly. The substance appeared to be unsolid - possibly gaseous. I had absolutely no idea what it could be as I had never seen anything like that before in my life. It grew larger as it approached and then took the shape of a craft. It was an oblong, six-sided craft with rounded ends. I saw a dull light grey and metallic-looking craft - my husband saw gray and black. It moved slowly, perhaps no more than 20 mph and no less than 10 mph. It moved very smoothly and as it continued to approach I noticed two appendages protruding from the closest end to me. They appeared to be something like very long antenas pointed downward. I was describing what I saw to the person I was talking to on the phone. Then I yelled for my husband to come out and he saw it as well. The craft moved steadily and was completely silent. There were no exterior lights. The end farthest from me had windows and they seemed to contain one small golden light in each window. I think there were 4-6 windows. The craft flew over the parking lot and was approximately 300-500 ft. in altitude and approximately 300 ft. away from me at the closest point. It was hard to tell how high it was or how far away but it was very, very close. My husband said he wished he would have had a flashlight to shine on it because it probably would have reflected. My husband saw geometric shapes on the outside bottom of the craft. This was not writing, but black, wide lines that appeared to be more for functionality. My husband ran into the apartment and out the front door and out through the back parking lot to watch it. I went out the front door straight to the west. The craft soon went back to the original shape of a roundish, unsolid object. I saw the craft for about 30 seconds - my husband saw it for about 10 seconds. During and after the sighting I felt very peaceful and loving. During the sighting I was also very excited and all I could say was, "Oh my God!", over and over again. This sighting was in Chandler, AZ.

At midnight on Christmas, 12/25/2011, my son and I decided to take our dog for a walk. We were walking south in the 13000 block of Roe in Leawood, KS. when we spotted two amber/orange lights approaching approx 30 degrees in the sky, as if they were from an aircraft. We thought the color was odd for an approaching aircraft. The lights were fairly close together and horizontal from one another. They then grew a little further apart and then became vertical in their positioning with one another, as if the craft was in a 90 degree banking position. We thought that wasn't possible if it was an aircraft. The lights then moved next to one another and stopped and hovered for about 15 seconds. At this point they were about 30 degrees off the horizon and made no sound. It was eerily quiet. We were stopped in our tracks in awe wondering what in the world we were experiencing!! It was definately not an airplane! Initially we thought it was one craft with two lights, but now we believe the lights are on two separate craft. At this time of night there is no traffic on the street at all. All of a sudden the lead light starts to fade and appears to change direction to the south so the light disappears. Seconds later the second light does the same. Just at that moment one car (the only car we saw that night) headed south on Roe stops and the two occupants asked if we just saw what they saw. They were excited like us and we talked for approx 30 seconds. They couldn't believe what they saw as well and had no explanation for the sighting. We all thought that what we saw was crazy, unbelievable and incredible!! I contacted the local FOX affiliate the next morning and they advised me that there were no other reports of sightings on Christmas night.

Saw bright lights moving slowly east to west over I-95. Thought why was a string of planes flying so low. Pulled over to shoulder and filmed them from car with cellphone.

Some flew out of sight and some had had lights go out.

Called my dad and mother who witnessed them from their home in Boynton Beach.

Venus And Crescent Moon Put On Show This Week

On Monday, December 26, 2011, Venus and the crescent moon put on quite a display, with a cosmic alignment known as a conjunction.

If you were lucky enough to have clear skies during sunset, Venus and the crescent moon could be viewed shining brightly in the southwestern sky, with only 7 degrees between the two.

Jupiter is also clearly visible (in the eastern portion of the night sky) and can be seen with the unaided eye. Jupiter and Venus will appear to come closer to each other until March 14, 2012, when they will pass each other at a range of about 3 degrees. Be sure to take photos of the Venus/Jupiter conjunction.

If any of my readers took interesting photos of the Venus/Moon conjunction on 26 December, 2011, please send them to me. I will post the best ones and will do likewise with any March 14, 2012 Venus/Jupiter photos.

On the night of Feb. 5, 2009 I went out to check the skies like I usually do. Directly above my house I saw 2 really big triangle light patterns. I started filming and was able to catch the second one disappearing. Then 7 lights in a row appeared and then disappeared. After that one light appeared and then was gone a few moments later. Towards the end of the sighting jets started appearing from everywhere. There were at least 12 jets out possibly more. No noise from the lights at all.

On June 22, 2009 at approximately 9:49 pm I went outside to check the skies like most nights. I noticed something bright in the sky, so I grabbed my camcorder and started filming. At first I could only see one slow strobing light because it was headed straight towards me. Then it made a fairly sharp turn to the left and that is when I could really see the triangle light pattern on this object. Of the three lights, only one was strobing. After I knew I had some clear footage of it, I stopped filming briefly to set up my tripod. It was already connected to my camcorder. I then resumed filming but by that time this object had really picked up its speed. I could not get a steady shot even with my tripod. It then got so far away I could not see it anymore. This object made no sound at all. Really strange!

WISE Says 'Merry Christmas' With a Nebulous Wreath: Big Pic

Dec. 23, 2011 -- NASA's Wide-field Infrared Survey Explorer (WISE) is getting into a festive mood this Christmas after imaging a beautiful nebula called Barnard 3, or IRAS Ring G159.6-18.5. Nicknamed the "Wreath Nebula" by mission scientists, Bernard 3 does have some familiarity with the green and red wreath hanging peacefully on your neighbor's door. But looks can be deceiving.

From 1,000 light years away, this nebula looks peaceful and serene, but it is actually the site of savage stellar winds blasting from the central bright star called HD 278942. These blizzard-esque winds have shaped the warm dust into a wreath-like ring, while the luminous star is likely the only energy source causing the ring to glow in infrared wavelengths (green).

The central red glow is most likely metal-rich gases being heated by HD 278942 -- if you use your imagination, this could resemble the red bow in the center of the wreath.

After adding a sprinkling of stars around the ring -- or, as mission scientists call them "silver bells" -- and you get a positively festive cosmic scene. Merry Christmas!

A personal account: Humming Sound and Being Immobilized

I got up from bed and went to the bathroom. When I came back to bed, the clock on the nightstand read 5:52 a.m.

As soon as I got in bed, my dog started barking and crying. Suddenly the dog stopped and the cell phone by the bed was "activated", then the clock radio near the cell phone started making a throbbing static noise, somewhat like a short burst of Morse code. That finally stopped and then I began to hear a deep rumbling, "thrumming" sound. At first it was very faint but grew louder and louder as it passed very slowly, directly over the house.

The sound was much like the hydro electric generators at the powerhouse, where my spouse had worked for 20 years before retiring. The only difference was that this humming sound was more subdued and I could feel it, as well as hear it.

There were no lights involved. I don't recall seeing anything but I "envisioned" a dark, triangular-shaped craft moving slowly over my house.

I felt a pressure in my chest, like I was being pushed down into the bed and it actually felt like I was being scanned. I wasn't paralyzed, my arms were free to move but I just couldn't get up. I tried. I also flung my arms, striking my husband's arm several times.

The object passed on over, I was released, the sound faded and I laid there knowing that I had just received a "passing visit".

My spouse said he was awake but all he remembers is the dog barking, also the cell phone and the radio making noise. He never moved, though I desperately tried to rouse him, hitting his arm with mine and asking him, "Can you hear that? Listen! I can't move! Wake up!" I called his name to no avail. As far as I could tell, he was unconscious.

As the humming sound receded, becoming more faint and indistinct, I immediately fell back to sleep.

I've experienced this at night, on two other occasions. It has never occurred during sunlit hours.

I'd like to note, that the very next year a contact called me one evening, saying that a triangle UFO was seen being escorted by military helicopters, headed in my direction from south to north. I watched but never saw, nor heard this "aerial convoy".

Was it of extraterrestrial origin, or is it something that our military is using, hiding in 'plain sight'?

I was asleep and woke to a buzzing sound and snapping of static electricity in my room and around me. The buzzing sound seemed to be in the room with me. I looked at the clock and it as 5 am (12/22/2011) -- Stafford, VA. I went to the window and looked upward and saw a large dark triangular shaped craft slowly passing overhead in a South to Northern direction. There was a bright white light on each corner and the craft traveled with one point forward. A red blinking light could be seen on the bottom of the craft. The craft seemed to be making no noise whatsoever but creating a hum in my bedroom and lots of static electricity (my hair stood on end). I woke my mom and she looked out the window to see it hovering over the trees about 270 feet away (about 10' over the trees). I figure the width of it as it passed overhead and over the trees was about twice the size of the back (width of the homes behind my home) or about 120 ft.

I didn't get a photo though had my cell phone with me. I didn't have my video camera battery charged. But charging it now in case there is a repeat.

Odd thing. My dog, Boomer, a 125 lb yellow lab slept through this even though I was up and yelling at mom to take a look, etc. The dog never acts this way... very vigilant... but he kept quiet or stayed asleep.

I could do a sketch. So could my mom. I could map the path it took while in my view to a great degree of accuracy.

Editor's Note: I recall a similar incident, where some type of large craft moved over my home one evening, while my spouse and I were in bed. As it did so, it emitted a deep humming sound that was felt as much as heard.

On December 19, 2011, while in the car with my husband I witnessed something I've never seen before. As we were returning from shopping late on that evening, it had already gotten pitch dark. It was a little after 7pm.

I was looking out the passenger window at the businesses as we passed by them, something caught my eye and I looked in the sky, above everything. I saw this thing that looked almost like a ball of light, it was shining a beam of light out of the top of it into the sky above it. The beam shown very high above it, probably 50-100ft above it. You could see it fade into nothingness. Like when you shine the beam of a flash light on a itch black night, you can see where the beam ends. That's how this was.

It was also about 25-50 ft. across. A quick note I'm estimating here, I maybe way off not sure.

I tried to get my husband to see it but he wasn't able to for fear of wrecking. We drove about a block or two with it still doing this and staying stationary. I turned my head for a moment I believe to tell my husband something and once I turned my attention back this craft had turned off the beam of light. Now it just looked like a ball of light just no where near as bright.

I could now see one single red blinking light on it. I could sorta make out a shape even though it was dark. It was sorta ball/saucer-like shaped. Of course I'm sure the darkness didn't help me any in knowing the exact shape. During this whole time I was just kinda amazed and curious about it.

The road made a turn and I lost sight if it, then found it again. Only to lose it again and never find it again. Which I find very strange that something like that could just completely disappear with out a trace with all the light it was emitting.

The speed of the craft the whole time seemed very slow. So that's how I don't see it disappearing like that even I'd it did speed away. At first it just hovered there while it shown the beam.

I've never seen anything like it. My first thought was it was a helicopter, but what doesn't make sense is the thing looking like a ball of light even after the beam of light. I mean I know helicopters can have search lights so you can't use that as a point to show it wasn't one.

I suppose you can be the judge of what you think it was. To me I'm unsure but it sure seemed strange for a helicopter.

Earth Must Have Another Moon, Say Astronomers

A study of the way our planet temporarily captures asteroids suggests that Earth should have at least one extra moon at any one time

(Technologyreview.com) Back in 2006, the Catalina Sky Survey in Arizona noticed that a mysterious body had begun orbiting the Earth. This object had a spectrum that was remarkably similar to the titanium white paint used on Saturn V rocket stages and, indeed, a number of rocket stages are known to orbit the Sun close to Earth.

But this was not an object of ours. Instead, 2006 RH120, as it became known, turned out to be a tiny asteroid just a few metres across--a natural satellite like the Moon. It was captured by Earth's gravity in September 2006 and orbited us until June 2007 when it wandered off into the Solar System in search of a more interesting neighbour.

2006 RH120 was the first reliably documented example of a temporary moon.

But there should be many more examples, say Mikael Granvik and buddies at the University of Hawaii in Honolulu. Today these guys say they have modelled the way the Earth-Moon system captures these objects to understand how frequently we can expect to have additional moons and how long they should stay in orbit.

The answer is straightforward to state. "At any given time, there should be at least one natural Earth satellite of 1-meter diameter orbiting the Earth," say Granvik and co. These objects should hang around for about 10 months and make about three revolutions of the planet. That means Earth ought to have a metre-sized moon right now.

This is of more than academic interest. NASA has repeatedly said it is interested in sending humans to a near Earth asteroid. What better than to kick off with one that is in orbit here?

Finding a suitable candidate will be tricky though. Asteroids that are likely to become temporary satellites in the near future will be small and therefore hard to see. What's more, they will be subject to many forces pushing and pulling them so that predicting when and if they will ever be captured will be next to impossible.

But improved monitoring might help spot them when they get here, which might allow a launch to be planned in advance. Granvik and co conclude: "The scientific potential of being able to ﬁrst remotely characterize a meteoroid and then visit and bring it back to Earth would be unprecedented."

1978 UFO Sighting In Wyoming By Pilot And 100 Others

A commercial pilot reports that in 1978, he, his wife and at least 100 travelers watched an extremely large object (over 1 mile in diameter), descended from orbit, land and 6-7 small objects exited and flew away at high speed. Then the object flew back into space.

Report:
While driving a semi truck hauling a Lowboy trailer w/caterpillar D-8 dozer in July 1978, about 7:30 MT time. My wife noticed a star in sky at about 45 degrees inclination to the Northeast. Looking to East I could see the moon well up and looking to the Southwest the sun was setting. The sun was about 3/4 below horizon.

When I looked back to the Northeast at my wife's exited urging, I saw to my amazement the star we had seen was now moving towards us and appeared to be growing larger. The meteor, I thought was getting much bigger until it neared a small mountain directly in front of us, at about 5,000 ft. AGL/above ground level.

The object stopped and hovered for about 3- seconds, then landed on the side of the mountain. I just mentioned, I'm assuming it landed but it could have been hovering behind the mountain. It did not wobble at all.

This object was, I'm estimating, 5000-10,000 ft. in diameter, 1-2 miles. I've never seen anything this large that was capable of moving under it's own power.

FYI, I am a licensed commercial pilot and used to be a certified flight instructor. In 1988 I stopped flying, because I could only pass medical for private pilot, not commercial; my depth perception had deteriorated. I'm 65 now as I write this, back to sitting.

After it appeared the large object had landed, nothing happened for about 2 minutes. Then about 6 very small silvery objects made one orbit around the large object and flew towards the Northwest, at what I would guess at mach 2+.

It's been many years since we saw this. I've become dulled to the excitement, I felt this, what I now call a UFO.

If anyone would look at a NASA photo of the sun and it's corona, you would see an almost identical picture of what we saw that day. I want to make sure it's understood that all this took place in full daylight, on a clear, almost cloudless day.

There were over 35 vehicles stopped with us on the north bound side of the road, with about 10 vehicles stopped on the south bound side. There were 8 people that I talked to on my side of the highway, that took 8MM movies of all or part of this sighting. I estimate that 100+ people witnessed this event.

When the object departed, it climbed about 5,000 ft, hovered for a few seconds, then accelerated back along it's approach path. From it's hover position until it disappeared to space, took about 30 seconds.

FYI, this is the first time I've told anyone except for 3 or 4 friends and of course they didn't believe.

Oh yes, later the next day I called flight service and the FAA said they had no radar contact with any craft at that time of day, in that area. The FAA would not tell me about any other reports.

This was a long time ago, so it may not be of much interest.

UFO Encounter In Malheur National Forest

A woman recalls a UFO sighting and possible abductions, as told to her by her aunt, who along with the aunt's husband and others, had a (1968?) encounter in the mountains of Malheur National Forest.

I apologize that this is second hand, but my family member who experienced this never wished it reported. Now it can be. I hope that it might be associated with other events in the area about that time, providing added proof that something DID occur in the area of the Malheur National forest, NW of Burns Oregon at that time. The month is correct (Oct), the day could have been any day during deer season.

My Aunt, Uncle and a large group of friends were camped at Morgan Springs in the Malheur National forest. It was dark and the days hunt over. As usual everyone was around the fire. This was rugged country. I've been to this spot in the 70's and 80's. Very hard to find and to get there with vehicles. Theirs was the only group at that site.
Let me state that my Aunt was the national chairman of a prestigious real estate concern. Listed in Who's Who, very successful, logical and level headed.

She was walking around the group with a tray of snacks. She stated that it soundlessly glided into view just above the tree tops. These would be large Ponderosa pines. It stopped, hovering, not directly overhead but about 50 Feet away at a 45 degree angle, about 100 ft above the ground. About half the craft was visible, saucer shaped, she estimated it to be at least 100 ft wide, but I don't recall how thick it was.

Everyone freaked out, women screamed, men yelling, some went for their hunting rifles. She said it was so close and so obvious what it was, that nobody said anything like "what is it". Everyone knew. There were "windows", for lack of a better term. I don't recall if they were visible as it came into sight or not. I think she said they appeared after it stopped to hover. A yellow light was visible, apparently emanating from the crafts interior. She said the shapes of more than one humanoid body was visible and movement was easily discerned with the yellow back light. No features were seen as no light was directed in to the craft from the outside. She said that the movements were fluid, natural, but seemed uncharacteristic of normal human movement. Proportions were odd as well. She said they seemed to be curious about them, moving to get different looks into the campsite.

At this point, only a few seconds have passed. She was a camera buff and she dropped the tray and ran to the camping vehicle to get her 35mm. She had to load it and said she may have been inside the camper for 3 minutes max.

When she emerged, camera in hand, the entire group was still and calm. The craft gone. Some of those that hadn't left the fire area were again seated. A couple of the group that ran were slowly walking back. Two men with hunting rifles were stone still and seemed catatonic for another couple of minutes.

She asked what happened, where the saucer went, etc.

Slowly, she started to get responses, simple ones, like "what"? Soon, they regained their wits.

She was frantic, demanding answers... they all, including her husband, acted like she'd lost her mind. They had no explanation or memory of why some were away from the fire, holding guns or unable to recall the tray of snacks being dropped by her as she ran for her camera. She was incredulous, and being a strong willed, confident woman, she demanded answers and insisted her story was true and it was THEY who were daft. It got heated. Her husband, my uncle, finally felt embarrassed enough to demand her silence and in the coming days she agreed, at his request, to NEVER tell this story. To my knowledge, I am the only one she told.

obviously, she believes the metal skin of the camper protected her from whatever caused the memory loss to the others.
Her and my uncle are the greatest people I've ever known. I need no additional proof. I simply believe her. Hopefully, if any other events took place in that area, this will add weight to their accounts.

The biggest hole in my story is that I am unsure of the year. She told me this story in the early 70's I and can't recall how many years previously the event happened. Sorry about that.

Photo and video capture furious activity in Milky Way nebula 2,000 light-years away

Celestial 'Snow Angel' Dazzles in Hubble Telescope Photo

(Space.com) Just in time for the holidays, the Hubble Space Telescope has snapped a spectacular view of a star-forming region in our Milky Way galaxy that looks like a snow angel in deep space.

This region, called Sharples 2-106 (or S106 for short) is located nearly 2,000 light-years away in the direction of the constellation of Cygnus (The Swan). The nebula is found in a relatively isolated part of the Milky Way, researchers said.

The S106 nebula measures several light-years across, and contains vast clouds of gas that resemble outstretched wings amidst an hourglass shape. The light from the glowing gas is colored blue in this image. A video and photo of the "snow angel" based on Hubble's observations reveal a spectacular view of the cosmic sight.

Hubble's view captures furious activity in the nebula, with ridges and ripples of super-hot gas mixing with the cooler interstellar medium. A massive young star, called Infrared Source 4 or IRS 4, is responsible for this turbulence, scientists said.

Radiation from IRS 4 makes the lobes of gas glow bright blue in the image, as they stretch outward from the central star. Luminous red veins also appear throughout the nebula creating intricate patterns.

A ring of dust and gas around the star squeezes the expanding nebula into its apparent hourglass shape. Faint light from the central star reflects off tiny dust particles, making the surrounding environment glow, and revealing darker filaments of dust beneath the blue dust clouds, the researchers said.

Astronomers have studied S106 and found several hundred brown dwarfs, which are cool, failed stars. When the nebula is viewed in infrared wavelengths, more than 600 of these misfit stars appear, scientists said.

Brown dwarfs weigh less than a tenth of our sun, and because of this low mass, they are unable to trigger enough energy through nuclear fusion. These cosmic objects encompass the S106 nebula in a small cluster, the researchers said.

S106 was the 106th object to be cataloged by astronomer Stewart Sharpless in the 1950s, the researchers said.

The newly released image was taken by Hubble in February. The composite picture was created by stitching together two images taken in infrared light.

Witness Reports Odd Behavior In Dogs, Flash Of Light, Disc UFO And Missing Time

Lithia Springs, Georgia- A police investigator reports that on May 15, 1995, he and his dad noticed neighborhood dogs behaving oddly.

Then father and son were knocked unconscious by a blinding flash of light, followed by seeing a disc-shaped UFO as it disappeared into a cloud.

They both soon realize they have experienced a lapse in Time.

On the night of the sighting, it was cool and nice outside. My step-mom was sitting in as bay window, with windows and blinds open, on our house watching TV in her and my dads room. My step-sister was sitting in the living room with the windows and the blinds open, both step-mom and step-sister letting the night air in. Both parties sitting next to open windows were on the same side of the sighting.

My father and I were located in my bedroom and were playing a video game. My blinds and window was also open due to the nice night. the air was cool and the skies were partly cloudy. As my dad and I were playing the game, we were disturbed by lots of neighborhood dogs barking and gathering in the street. The dogs were congregating near a light post located approximately 75 to 100 feet from my bedroom window and directly in front of the house. We paused the game and began watching the dogs. After a few minutes, my dad left the room and went to his room to retrieve a pair of binoculars to get a closer look at the dogs. I had a pair in my room and I retrieved mine as well. When my dad returned to my room, we turned the TV off to darken the room and began trying to focus on the pack of dogs.

The part of the whole ordeal seemed strange because some of the neighborhood dogs that were gathered would normaly not get along. We began to focus in on the dogs. We noticed the dogs were barking while looking up into the sky. We talked about why they might be behaving like this for a few moments then began to look towards the sky, to the right of the house, when all of the sudden a bright light from up above burst in through the window causing my father and I to fall backwards onto the floor. Prior to the light, my dad and I were on our knees looking out the window. When we came to and regained our sight. We were laying on the floor next to each other. Now we both understand that our binoculars would have magnified the light, but I know the light was bright to begin with. I looked back out the window and caught a glimpse of a craft in the air that appeared to slowly floating away. The craft floated behind a cloud or into some type of fog and disappeared for good.

When we regained our composure, we went into the living room and said "did you see that" to my step sister. She stated "what are y'all talking about". We stated "the dogs and the bright light". She stated "no" and went back to watching TV. We left the living room and went to my dads room where my step-mother had been sitting in the bay window watching TV. We asked her the same questions and she stated she had heard the dogs earlier but had not observed any type of flash or light.

My dad and I looked out the bay window real fast and realized that the dogs were gone. My dad and I went outside of the residence and walked to the neighbors house. The neighbor was outside working in and around his garage. We asked him if he had observed anything and he stated no. He did state that his dog had ran off earlier, but the dog had returned sometime earlier. After investigating the situation for sometime, my dad and I concluded that all the dogs that we had observed were back at their homes and that people had observed the dogs acting funny but had not observed the light.

The part of the incident that still puzzles my dad and I is the fact that what seemed to take a few seconds, like looking at the dogs, seeing the light and coming to on the floor had apparently taking some time because everyone stated they had observed and heard the dogs earlier but not recently when asked. We thought that the flash happened and a few seconds later we were up and asking about the incident. We don't remember the, as people stated "some time" went. The dogs had been home for "some time", we heard the dogs "earlier", we observed the dogs "earlier". There is time missing and neither my dad or I remember what happened during the missing time.

P.S. I am an investigator at a local police department and this has puzzled my to this day.

Report:
Not real sure if it was a dream or it was real but it sure felt real and I have lived with it all my life.

We owned a farm in Baltimore County Md. on Rolling Rd. It was about 18 acres or so. The incident took place late at night not sure of the exact time but everyone was asleep in the house.

All that I can remember is that it was a very clear night, with a few white puffy clouds. I was standing outside of the back of the house looking up, don't remember even going outside of the house.

The memory starts with me looking up at, I guess what some would call a cigar shaped craft. It looked grey on top and bottom, with windows that appeared to go around the center of the craft. There was no lighting except where the windows were and that was just white continuous light that wrapped around the craft.

The craft was tipped to its side and a person was standing toward the front of the craft waving. I remember that person looking just like we do, as far as human features and wearing a jump suit kind of clothing.

The whole incident didn't last long at all and as he was waving the craft leveled up and just casually drifted away and as that craft left, I looked up and seen high up in the sky several crafts going all kinds of speeds. None were super fast, they were all cruising different moderate speeds.

After that I just went in and went back to sleep. Its a dream that has stayed with me since I was child. I don't know how I got outside. I wasn't scared or nothing like that. It actually was a very peaceful feeling.

I think it happened in the summer, because it was a very warm night out. I do remember going inside and just going to bed like nothing happened. It was a weird experience but a peaceful one.

Report:
First seen over Gallatin Road near military cemetery. I was driving down Gallatin away from downtown and saw the object out of the corner of my eye. I slowed the car and watched the object come out of a thunderhead cloud, hover for a few seconds and then turn upside down and go back into the cloud.

The contrast of the white object against the black cloud made it stand out. I knew it was an oddity as soon as I saw it because of the maneuvers it made and the fact that it entered the storm cloud.

I was very shaken by the sighting and actually pulled off the road and called a friend to tell her exactly what happened. I felt nervous the rest of the night and had a hard time sleeping.

I saw what I believe is the same object about two or three weeks later in roughly the same area in the middle of the day. The sky was completely clear of clouds. I saw the object directly overhead and it had the same features (or lack of features) as described above. It flew overhead at what looked like a relatively normal rate of speed and then rapidly accelerated. It was gone so fast it looked like it disappeared into nothing.

I've had no other sightings since then.

UFO-like Object Hauled On Flatbed Trailer Causes Stir

Arkansas City Traveler- The unusual object traveling through Cowley County, which was the cause of much conversation Monday morning, was a U.S. Navy drone.

Hauled on a large flatbed truck along U.S. 77, area residents got a look at a 32-foot-wide, dull gray, wrapped apparatus shaped like a flying saucer and featuring flashing red lights.

Reports were that the object is a Navy drone, which — after wings are attached — will fly from aircraft carriers.

One clearance location of concern was the bridge north of Winfield, which only is 35 feet wide.

Local emergency management officers, along with members of the Arkansas City and Winfield police departments and Cowley County Sheriff's Department, were on hand to control traffic as the aircraft was transported through Cowley County to Maryland.

NASA has agreed to let Space Exploration Technologies -- SpaceX -- make a long-awaited test fight to the International Space Station, pending final tests.

SpaceX will combine two test flights of its unmanned Dragon cargo ship into a single mission, aiming for launch on 7 February.

The primary goal of the demonstration flight is to test the capsule's autonomous navigation and control systems before beginning routine commercial flights to deliver critical supplies to the lab complex.
Is SpaceX the new NASA?

"Pending all of the final safety reviews and testing, SpaceX will send its Dragon spacecraft to rendezvous with the International Space Station in less than two months," Lori Garver, NASA's deputy administrator, said on Friday. "So it's the opening of that new commercial cargo delivery era for ISS."

Boosted into low-Earth orbit by a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket, the Dragon capsule will rendezvous with the space station two days after launch and carry out a series of tests to verify its software and control systems are working properly before NASA flight controllers give clearance for final approach.

If all goes well, the Dragon spacecraft will pull up to within about 30 feet of the lab complex on 10 or 11 February and wait for the station's robot arm to lock on and pull it in for a docking at the Earth-facing port of the forward Harmony module. The arm will be operated by Expedition 30 commander Dan Burbank, who arrived at the lab last month, and Donald Pettit, who is scheduled for launch on 21 December aboard a Russian Soyuz rocket.

Fast Moving Light in the Sky Over Millegeville, Georgia- Photos

At approximately 10:00pm EST, my teenage son was alarmed by the sight of a colorful, star-like object that was moving at incredible speeds. He had already observed it for about an hour before coming to me. When I first saw it, I was shocked because I had never seen anything like this in my lifetime. After only a couple minutes of looking at it, I immediately grabbed my digital camera and took 2 videos and then several pictures. I went inside and downloaded the images and I took some time to crop the photos and zoom in on them. My son and I were surprised that after all that time, the object was still out there so I took more pictures of it. After looking at the second set of pictures, the object was either gone or no longer visible. These pictures have been cropped - absolutley no editing other than that and I have all the originals. I do have video from that night as well that I will provide if needed. A friend suggested that I download the pics and video on this website. I was and still am astonished. So after that I made sure to look in the area, every night, to see if 'it' would come back and to my amazement, lastnight, it did which I will be detailing in my next report.

Strange Energy is claimed to have injured man in British Columbia

My Brother and one another of my employees witnessed these bizarre events which took place on my companies property from the time from the Japan Tsunami March 11 to the preceding super-moon March 19. It first looked like a really bright moon in the close sky that elongated, split in two and started putting on a display of different shapes, right over my cabin. It would come into the forest mid tree level and we have several pictures of it coming thru the cabin window and the end of it formed a perfect human like hand and swiped my brothers face. we have several clear close up pictures Then it flashed inside the cabin we have a really bizarre photo of what happened.

The one guy is totally freaked out , he was severely injured and hospitalized for 3 months after being attacked by it in the cabin [all of his front teeth knocked out and a stroke. My brother left vowing to never go back there, but is back there now. They believe it's strong spirits with a very strong electrical energy. One interesting point is that.

We have 176 first hand photos, including the one bizarre encounter with my brother in the cabin.
They land is a humic bog with a high electromagnetic signature coming from the ground, The are is also called the Gateway Unincorporated. only 3 photos submitted, it came day or night, it was phenomenally bright. No one else in the area that we talked to has ever seen it.

'Terror by the Lake', 'The Skinwalker and the Crows' and more

I received an email from a good friend who related a few stories to me, ones which she has had related to her by the witnesses themselves, or family members and friends of the witnesses.

My friend has allowed me to post these, signed with her pseudonym.

I'm going to go ahead and relate to you the story I was told. It's third hand and we both know how butchered a story can grow by the time it reaches several ears...

Terror by the Lake

The incident occurred in the early sixties, a time when the Lake Travis was little more than a collection of lodges and scattered lake houses. Nothing like the monstrously busy place it is today. The cabin was by itself. From what I recall of the story they were not right next door to any other cabin. This lady's friends parents were doing some late night fishing, or perhaps simply standing by the lakes edge, when a brightly lit UFO dropped down and began to hover over the lake within viewing distance. One or both of them felt threatened enough to move quickly back to the cabin. This, for me, is where it got really interesting.

The cabin was described as being a tin roof affair, with a small porch. Once the couple closeted themselves inside, they began to hear noises outside. What was relayed to me was that something tried to gain access via the door. Scratching was heard and the door was shaken. When whatever it was could not gain access by the entry route, they soon heard it on the side of the house and soon after.. atop the roof! It was described as being heavy sounding and footfalls from its movements were heard overhead. The incident lasted about twenty - thirty minutes by the telling, whereupon it hopped off the roof with an audible thud and made further noises as it wandered around the perimeter of the house.

Needless to say the couple was terrified and did not exit the house until the light of day. When they did, there were indentations not only in the tin roof but also on the ground in the area, where they said the 'thing' had hopped off. This story was passed down to their daughter, who swore by her parents veracity.

Again, the story is likely butchered by now, but perhaps a few grains of truth remain. It doesn't sound like many UFO stories I have heard but then I didn't hear it from the experiencers mouths. I have heard reports of Bigfoot-like creatures being oddly associated with some UFO sightings, though without an actual sighting of a creature, it's certainly impossible to say.

I tend to file this one away in the 'fun stories I like to relate " lol..

I'm in the mood to communicate so I think I'll go ahead and tell you a story a friend of mine from the west coast related to me, a man who I had always had good and credible interactions with. I was definitely intrigued by the story he told, one in response to my story to him about seeing a 'fox' spirit once, which I believe I relayed to you as well. This one is more detailed, because I questioned him right and left about it. I'm used to writing a bit so excuse the manner in which its written. I am not taking any literary license here either... this is pretty much as he told it to me.

The Skinwalker and the Crows

My friend was a teacher, somewhere out on the west coast. While doing his masters thesis in Washington state, his favored topic was the study of the Native American myth of the 'trickster'. He was in contact with a tribe in Washington state and was allowed to travel there, to meet with one of the shaman. In order to get there, he took buses back and forth, which dropped him and many of the tribes people off at the high way exit near the reservation. A long walk down a thickly wooded road would then be taken until one reached their destination.

On this particular afternoon, a young tribal woman exited the bus before him and began walking down towards the reservation. She was a good hundred yards from him by the time he exited with his gear, so he walked quietly behind her after the bus left.   He described her as being of average Native American looks ( of whatever tribe she belonged to... that information is lost in my memory somewhere) and about 18 years of age.

As he walked, he noticed a man exiting the woods in front of him. He told me he was wearing jeans and a jean jacket as was common to many of the people living there, so little notice was taken except that something told him the man was following the young woman purposefully.   My friend was a very protective type so I understood his intuitive sense when he told me this. My friend said he was somewhat concerned but was not at all fearful in that moment, until the man ahead of him turned to look back at him. The ' man' , my friend said, had no face. He described it as being a void, or a nothingness. I asked him if it was cloudlike and he told me no. It was just... nothing. My friend who didn't seem to think he was a fearful guy, was literally paralyzed in terror from that moment on and could not even walk to help the woman.

He could only watch as the thing turned back to the woman and continued to stalk her. Within moments of this, my friend noticed crows descending from the forest. Several flew around the men. My friend said there were three of them, and one of the crows finally landed on the road right in front of the "being". The jean-clad critter stopped in its path and seemed to look down at the crow and within a matter of moments, it simply turned and walked back into the forest. Once it was gone, the crows flew off and whatever terror my friend had experienced, was literally gone. He was able to move again and hustled his way to the rez, to meet with the shaman. ( As I recall, my friend told me the young woman never seemed to even know anything was amiss.)

The shaman and her husband lived in a mobile home type situation and my friend was invited in. Her husband was apparently in the kitchen and at that moment not seen. The shaman noted my friend's anxiousness and asked about it.

My friend began to relay the story and the shaman apparently asked him, before he got started describing the full incident, if crows had been involved. When he agreed there had been, she asked if there had been three of them. When he agreed with that one she appeared unfazed and called her husband into the room, saying something like.."Hey, he just saw a skinwalker." The husband looked at my friend with an unsurprised look and asked if he'd seen the three crows. Once my friend agreed he had, he asked the shaman, "what exactly is a skinwalker?" and she told him something along these lines. "Some things you don't need to know, white boy." and refused to tell him anything more than that the crow was their sacred bird, which protected their tribe.

My friend was unable to get anything else out of the shaman and her husband, about the being and remarked on how unsurprised and/or unconcerned both of them had been about his descriptions of the event.

For his thesis, as well as his own personal interests in Native American spirituality, my friend continued to see the shaman from time to time. However, nothing along those lines ever happened again.

I have no way of verifying this story. It is another one of those 'fun stories' I tend to collect.

UFOs and Perception

As for the 'blinders' thing... I find that interesting as well. I once read some work by a channeler named [name withheld]. I'm not 'into' channeling per se' and find most of it (excuse the term) regurgitated pap, though on occasion you can find a few gems here and there. This channeler was very interested in her encounters with extraterrestrials and used to lead meditation groups out into the desert, with the intent of promoting interactions with 'friendly' types.

The channeler did notice some interesting conditions amongst her group. Once a meditative state was achieved, it seemed easier for many of her people to see objects that appeared (and those ships that did appear) and seemed to do so with far greater regularity once the groups 'consciousness' (or frequency) had been shifted. Another thing she noticed (I fail to remember the term she used, though its meaning was clear), when 'contact' was imminent, various interesting behaviors seemed to occur regularly with various individuals. Some would grow 'spacy', some very sleepy, others seemed to grow itchy or restless. She began to wonder if perhaps the unconscious mind was attempting to protect their day to day perception of reality from such a huge, life altering and -reality- altering experience. Rather like the old, possibly false, legend of the Indians failing to perceive Spanish ships when they arrived, simply because their perception of reality did not include such concepts. She called this something like a 'signature behavior'.

I'm sure you can 'feel' when beings are near, either multidimensional or ghostly, as can I.. and can even discern what types they may be. When this sense of presence occurred, or that sense of imminent contact was felt... these behaviors became most apparent, especially in those who were less aware of the senses they might be getting.

When I saw the chevron shaped object over my house one night in Houston, I was with my ex husband and one of his friends. I saw it plainly though it was very dim. My ex (once he saw it) only perceived the shape the lights were in. His friend, who had no idea of UFOs, saw nothing. Granted it was traveling overhead and soon lost to view, but why my ex did not see the pale orange light or reflection, is hard to say. However, he did see the lights arrayed on its belly.

Human consciousness is a very interesting subject, especially as it relates to ufology and the paranormal. Though I do believe that the various types of UFO occupants do manipulate human perceptions quite readily, I also believe we have much to do with our own perception of what is occurring, during contact experiences. The fuzzy line that divides the two is rather difficult to interpret, mostly because the instrument that is recording these events, is also the one we use to weigh our evidence with. LOL

This past February I was with 3 friends at my house at El Salido and Blazing Star Tr. Late on a Saturday I went with one of my friends to his house to pick something up while my other friend stayed at my house. On our way back (going north on Anderson mill rd towards Fm620) my friend pointed ahead of us at a light and was in awe trying to figure out what it was. When I first saw it, it looked like a meteor or something on fire like a plane was coming down really fast towards us. But it was big and very bright almost like the moon but yellow glowing. We finally got closer as we approached Anderson mill and FM620. Still trying to make a normal explanation for what I was seeing, but I wasnt convincing myself of anything but a helicopter or something on fire. Once we got to FM620 ready to take a right east we stopped because it was stationary and about 500 feet or so ahead of us but at a distance to where I still was having trouble figuring out what it was, I could see blue and red flashing lights as well as a yellowish orange light as if something was burning or a flame. We were at the stoplight and I looked around our stoplight was green, no one was moving (4-way light) and it seemed as if they were all focused on the strange object. I rolled down the windows and my friend and stuck our heads out the window to get a better look. I could not hear anything it was complete silence and I had a very eire feeling. Still trying to comprehend the object it started to move slowly and it was directly above us and for the first time I could get a good look at what I was seeing. I was shocked and in awe as if I was watching the movie Independence day when I saw a massive diamond shaped craft, that appeared to be about 7 to 10 planes wide, I cant really give a good estimate but it seemed bigger than anything I had ever seen fly. What confused me the most was that the harder I tried to look at it, it seemed to be almost see through like having some cloak or some kind of camoflage, but you could still see the shape and size, but also the clouds and stars behind it. Also as we slowly turned right at the stoplight going east the object moved very slowly over us and to the south at literally like 10 to 30 miles an hour, it was moving very slow. We were going towards El Salido about to take a left towards my house and I could see the object moving over the CVS nearby and the object looked very thin and it almost made no sense because of how massive the craft was. We continued on our way how as the craft continued its path south. When we first saw the craft on Anderson Mill rd, I had called my friend on the phone who was at my house and told him to go outside cause I thought a metor or a plane was about to crash. Once he was outside I told him to look to the Southwest and look just above or at the tree line, as I'm on the phone just speaking out of my mind in awe, confusion, and disbeilef, my friend spotted a airplane going south and mentioned to me he saw a plane. As I was trying to explain to him where to look he said "Woah man, I just followed that plane and it just flew above a huge ball of light," (as he described) and he said it was barley above the tree line and about 5 times or so the size of the plane he saw from where he was. He continued to look at the object but he to from a distance could only see a bright light as we did from a distance. Once the object went towards CVS he lost it in the tree line. Looking back on the subject I was so upset with myself for not filming it because my friend next to me had an iphone which i did not think to grab as if something was not allowing me to think to film it. (my phone did not have a video or camera on it) Once we got backed to my house we discussed what we saw, tried to call a couple of news stations, but they all thought we were crazy, and tried to find something that matched the description of what we saw online. My friend and I aslo sketched what we saw which was a diamond shaped craft with lights on the bottom. As we searched UFO images I came across this one that struct me in particular, because you can see right through it and besides a blue and red light where some of the yellow lights are on the top strip. It is pretty much the exact same object I saw that night.

1.In swamp buggy sitting with three(3) others looking out over marsh area having a smoke, enjoying the evening.

2.It was a new moon night with all the stars shinning:silhouetted against star field horizon was Southern boundary of an large ranch land. One could not help notice the East/West tree line of ranch lands Southern border as one gazed North from an oak island across 0ne(1) kilometer of marsh sandwiched between oak island and ranch.

3.The object was over ranch land when it started to black out the star-field distinguishing said East/West tree line!

4.As I noticed the 'blacked out' star field growing: it became obvious that an very large object was emerging from horizon getting larger as it headed directly toward my crew and myself! There was no other reason to think it was anything other than an U.F.O. dominating the sky!

5. Object was dark in detail as was the night, triangular in shape as it's silhouette blotted out star filled sky; traveling South by South East at approx. 3-4 knots per hr. at approx. 175ft.-250ft. in altitude!

6. My feeling reactions were cool,calm; yet mitigated by the reaction of the others with me as they began to notice themselves! I turned to my step son as he looked and I asked,"rube what the hell is that", not saying anything immediately I asked again,"rube what the ____ is that", GD john "I don't know"! I then turned to his uncle and friend in back seat asking "richard what the ____ is that", " I don't know GD it"; his friend started babbling as it was obvious that he could not handle this encounter we all were witnessing! My feeling in an 'nutshell' is and always will be; wow, lucky me, as this was not my only experience with rare events!

7. As object traveled over us I did my best to make out and observe every detail I could, not paying any mind to other three(3) with me; as object continued South by South East it fading in dark night sky revealing stars in all their glory as they were before being cloaked by one huge 'freakin' unidentified flying object!

That was that, but the very next day at Sunday family dinner I breached the subject with step-son,brother-in-law, present in front of credible family members; both concurring with my description of events night before! I might add that they were not too talkative concerning sighting!

Report:
This was taken around 9pm on what used to be the outskirts of San Antonio. There was cloud cover, so the sky was dark and easy to notice this object slowly dropping out of the clouds. It seemed to have one central glowing ball and three to four smaller versions that rotated around the lower half. I was on a hill and you can see the tree line below on the first photo. By the time the second photo was taken, it begins to disappear into the tree cover. No sound, very silent. These were the only two photos I could get focus on before it was out of sight. My apologies for the prints on the film. NOTE: This area is also less than two miles away from an Army installation, Camp Bullis.

My first thought was it was a helicopter turning toward me because of the sudden, direct bright light and decent from the cloud cover. It was in no way frightening, however it was a heart-pounding experience to say the least; seeing something you can't explain with rational thinking. I'm hoping this post might facilitate others to comment if they were in this area in 1998.

Summary:    I was traveling east - saw the large triangle - as I approached I pulled over to observe - opened window to see if noise and if I could identify as anything I'd seen before.

Report:
I was traveling/driving toward the shore on the north-south highway in New Jersey, approaching the Atlantic City expressway - saw a large triangle in the sky nearly overhead. It didn't appear to be moving, as I got nearly under it (though it was a little over to my left).   I pulled over to see if I could identify it and take note of details. I was curious since it didn't appear to be moving and I'd never seen anything like it, ie., how was it staying up there?

It was a triangle, large, there were 3 lights on the bottom of the craft at the corners, shining downwards. Lights were constant and didn't change. I lowered my window to listen. There was no sound and the craft didn't move. After maybe what seemed like 5 minutes, I decided it was probably associated with the air force base in New Jersey and I pulled back on the highway and proceeded to the shore house in Ocean City. I have no idea how long it 'hovered' there after I drove away.

When I got home my husband asked me what I had been doing, that I was an hour late. I had called him right before I left Philadelphia, so I guess I 'lost' approx. an hour of time.

I recently saw a couple of UFO programs on TV, where pictures of large triangles like the one I saw were shown and the one I saw was identical. In the 90's I began to have trouble with my muscles and eventually participated in a study at University of Rochester, where my CK levels were again seen as elevated. The info I got at the time was people like 'me' were being included in study, which was originally designed solely for Myotonic Dystrophy. I apparently have a 'new' kind of Muscular Dystrophy. So do others in my family. Since that time a gene has been found for some people in the study in 'my category', though no gene has been found for mine that I know of, to date. It was the show I saw on elevated CK levels, that prompted me to make this contact with the account of what I saw.

The date is approx, as is the time, since I chalked it up for so long, as associated with the military.

Report:
Just coming out of a retail store at a strip mall. The mall was near the intersection of Montgomery and Berks counties.

I owned the store and was taking a new employee to another store I owned. The employee was a old friend and a he had a private pilots license. Looked up and saw 7/8 small ball like objects flying around a stationary rectagular object.

The ends of the large object were concave. My friend saw it. I went back into my store got another employee who came out and saw it. There were a few other people in the area who saw it. Oddly no one seem to care much about what they were seeing.

After about 15 minutes my old friend and I went to the other store. When I came back the objects were gone.

To this day I can not get this sighting out of my head, and the lack of observers caring about what they were seeing is a mystery to me.

Why is it that some people acknowledge that what they are seeing, might represent the possibility of UFOs and life outside our own world?

One reason is obvious. For many people, the acknowledgement of UFOs and alien beings goes against everything they have been taught, from parental ideology, or religious beliefs. Another is that our government says these things don't exist.

From an early age, most children are told that their 'imaginary friend' is just that, their imagination. That their fear of the boogie man under the bed, in the closet, or the little men who come for them and do things to them, are just their vivid dreams, imaginations, hallucinations... But what if some of those accounts are real?

Ancient Aliens

As for religious skeptics, where does it say in the bible that aliens and UFOs are not real? It doesn't.

In the Book of Ezekiel (Ezekiel 1:1–3:27), Ezekiel describes what can only be a "UFO" (unidentified flying object).

The first book of the bible refers to the Nephilim.

These aren't the only biblical references to aliens or UFOs but they are the most well known.

There are references from ancient India, China, Europe, Africa and South America and North America (as listed below).

Fear of the unknown

As the person who reported the UFO in Pottstown, PA atated, "lack of observers caring about what they were seeing is a mystery to me."

I don't really see it as a "lack of caring", rather it is a more like a 'head in the sand' response.

When it comes to aliens and UFOs, many people are simply too afraid to acknowledge that there might be something unexplainable, something or someone more intelligent, different, outside their realm of 'self'.

Report:
I was at a cottage in the 1000 islands region near Kingston, Ontario and experienced seeing something very abnormal in the sky. I was sitting on a dock over looking a lake when the object appeared from across the lake and moved towards the dock. The object can only be described as an organic looking connected formation of lights that hovered about 100 feet above the lake. The object moved towards my location initially then moved to the right slowly, while at the same time it changed shape and colour. I remember seeing red, purple, green ,orange and blue. The object's reflection could clearly be seen in the dark lake. At one point the object even seemed to form a face and arms. It was not a craft or ship of any time was certainly not man made. But it was clearly glowing and and a defined image. It kept moving right before it dropped below the tree line and disappeared. There were two other witnesses with me, and one of my friends was able to capture several photos (7-12).

I have attached one of the photos that I have, and if you think that this is something interesting I can get the other photos by contacting my friend.

It was nothing like I have seen or heard of before. It was not a fire work because it hovered for several minutes before vanishing. I was a little bit frightened when viewing the objects but my friends were laughing and kept saying, "It's not going to hurt us." They didn't seem to be afraid at all.

Any information of this sighting would be greatly appreciated.

Oval, black and white, at first thought it was a skunk, but it had two large yellow/green eyes staring at me(approx. 6 inches oval). They almost glowed. It didn't move. It stood about 2 to 3 feet tall. I went back in to finish seeing the football game. Came out, again at approximately 12:15 A.M., after the game, to smoke again and it was gone. It was not a skunk, raccoon, cat, dog, coyote, possum or any other animal. It stood up and stared at me with no movement. First time I have ever, first hand, seen a creature like that.

Possible Alien Remains Found In Peru

Have we Found Aliens? Unusual Remains Found in Peru

(TopNewsOnLineUK) The remains of a large headed mummy was discovered in the city of Andahuaylillas, the discovery was made by Renato Davila Riquelme who found two sets of remains.

The first one has a very large head for the size of the body and the eye sockets are much larger than normal, at around 20 inches long it is the size of a very young child, the strange thing about it is the fontanel is still open as you would expect in a small child but in the jaw it has two large molars which are characteristic with older people.

The strangely shaped head is almost as large as its body and the eye sockets are much larger than a normal humans, in the right socket remains of an eyeball has been found and Renato Davila Riquelme who works for Privado Ritos Andinos museum in Cusco south eastern Peru will test a sample for DNA so he can clarify if these are human remains or not.

The second mummy was only 12-inches long but it lacked a face and was found in the fetal position and looked like it was wrapped in a layer like a placenta. The remains looks very much like the skull they used in the Indiana Jones film The Kingdom of The Crystal Skull which turned out to be alien and have special powers.

Several anthropologists from Spain and Russia who have examined the remains don’t believe it has any resemblance to any ethnic group in the world, they all said it was not human!

Another explanation comes from old customs used by ancient civilisations dating back about 9000 years, people like the Mayans and the North American natives.

They used to tightly bind the head of a new born baby with cloth starting around a month old and leaving it for about 6 months at that age the skull is very pliable. For cranial flattening, the head would be placed between two pieces of wood, changing the shape of the skull to either flat, round our conical was seen as a sign of social status or to signify group affiliation.

The first event (that I remember) took place when I was 19 years old on Hart Rd., Taunton, MA. I was at my girlfriend's condo. We arrived home from work, ate supper and settled-in for the evening. After making love in the down stairs livingroom we, unfortunately, argued about something stupid. She fell asleep on the couch and I on the floor in front of the couch. Some time later I was woken by the strangest sensation - like I was levatating, while in the lying (back-side) postion, unable to move like I was paralyzed. I was terrified as I realized that I was sort of floating back to my original place in front of the sofa, literally several inches off the floor. I instinctively knew that I was being "returned". Though I was paralyzed, I tried to scream, but could not. My eyes were free to move about, though, and off to my left I could see what can only be described as a translucent orb above the front entrance/door which led to the driveway. A thin translucent cord extended from my mid section, and as the orb began to move toward me, eventually positioning directly overhead, I could see that the cord and orb were one, like a beam of light. The orb disappeared and I fell free. I jumped up and, in a panick, woke my girlfriend, blabbering this story to her. She dismissed it as a bad dream and led me upstairs to bed.

For many years afterward I would find myself in a fight to wake up from these strange moments of feeling paralyzed when asleep at night, sometimes waking not in my bed but on the floor or even in another part of the house. After such events, I intuitively knew that I had somehow been "taken" somewhere and then returned. Was I sleep-walking, I thought? As a child my parents told me that I was prone to sleep-walking. But my gut told me that this was different. I have only woken during a return event twice, and they have become less frequent. I think that I am able to resist - "fight off" - these events as I have grown older, but I can't be sure. I have recently become increasingly agitated and unable (and unwilling) to sleep. Something in the back of my mind is keeping me confused and anxious, as if an event were going to take place very soon. Well, there you have it. I'm either crazy or.....

Report:
This morning about 10:30 am, I was driving with my 2 daughters south bound on FM1774 from Magnolia to Tomball, TX. My youngest daughter and I saw a bright light in the sky or possibly sunlight reflecting off of a metallic object in the sky. Sky was clear with bright, sunny weather. Object was moving slowly in an arc, in a downward motion, maybe heading southeast, but was hard to tell. Only saw it for a few seconds. It disappeared from view even though it did not go behind anything. It was not shaped like a plane, nor did it change size or color, or direction. Dont think it was any type of craft. Just curious if anyone else reported seeing anything and if anyone may know what it was. Maybe meteor?

Maybe just a weird angle of jet or weather balloon in sunlight headed away from us? It was very big and bright though, and seemed to disappear in the sky, like it had extinguished mid air. We lost sight of it and kept looking but never found it again.

I stepped outside to take a break, and do a little star gazing. I saw three shooting stars and two fast walkers in just fifteen minutes time.

Suddenly, as I was getting ready to go back inside. There was a very bright flash of light, at 8:05 pm in the western sky, at about 65 degrees above the horizon. This flash lasted about one full second, and was three times as bright as Jupiter. I said to myself "What the **** was that!" The first thought that came to mind, was a meteor that hit the atmosphere straight on, and took a full second to burn up, as it was heading straight at me. But then, a few seconds later, there was another flash in the exact same spot. This time it was half as bright as the first one, and still lasted a full second. So, I began to count...and exactly five seconds later, another flash. There were seven flashes in all, and they were always five seconds apart.....exactly. Each flash was half as bright as the one before it. Until the seventh and final flash, was just barely visible to the naked eye. They were all in the same proximity of the sky, and formed a small tight circle pattern. This was no plane, satellite or the ISS.

My instincts tell me, that what I witnessed, was a space ship that had fired seven bursts, from the rockets or other propulsion system. The ship launched itself from a low Earth orbit, and flew out into space, directly away from my position on the ground. That would explain why the flashes were timed perfectly, and why each flash became less visible each time. This ship accelerated out into deep space so quickly, with each burst of light. That within 35 seconds time, it was beyond my eyesight of the propulsion flashes. This could have been a space ship built by humans, and was secretly embarking on a voyage to another planet or star system, and I just happened to glimpse the actual launch of this ship, from a platform in a stationary orbit. Unlike the ISS and more like communications satellites orbital positions. Maybe it was even the x-37B fleet that built this ship in low orbit, and launched it on it's deep space journey, from a reusable platform.

No matter how you look at this sighting. It was indeed an unidentified object, that was more than 100,000 feet in altitude and ended up flying into space, directly away from planet Earth.

There is no other explanation for what I witnessed, and I believe the small tight circular pattern of all the flashes, was simply minor course corrections being made, as it was being launched to a particular coordinate in space. I know that we have a secret space program, and that we have been sending astronauts to various planets and moons in our solar system, for many years now. But I am starting to get the impression, that we are also sending them to other star systems.

I am truly amazed at how many UFOs and meteors you can see, every single night in Aledo. I would love to set up a sky watch camera out there, if I can ever find the time.

I would love to know if any one else witnessed the flashes that I saw. I have a feeling they occur on a regular basis, and there is a definite platform up there, that ships are being launched from. Could be alien too. Haven't exactly ruled that possibility out either. But, the flashes lasting a full second each, sounds more like a conventional rocket thruster, or ionizing pulse engine. I will research the ion pulse rocket, and see if the pulses are at five second intervals. Then, it might begin to make more sense.

Have Weathermen Been Replaced By 'Weather-makers'?

I've been saying for some time now, that the weather just isn't behaving "natural".

My mother grew up on a Texas farm and lived her young adult life, long before there were TV weathermen.   She was very adept at reading the signs in the skies and the critters on the ground, knowing exactly what the weather would be like, for several days in advance.

My mother taught me to also read those signs... and the signs I have been seeing are distressing.   What was once our wet months have been dry and when we do finally get rain, it's too little too late, or we end up with one helluva flood, then it's drought again.

Texas weather has always been sort of crazy. The old saying has been, "It's Texas. Don't like the weather? Wait a few minutes and it'll change." Well, that old saying no longer holds true. We've been experiencing a severe drought for several years now and I don't see any let-up in sight. No, not as long as someone is manipulating the weather. And it appears they don't intend to stop any time soon.

How many homes, fields, crops and woodlands have to be burned by wildfires due to drought? How many others will be flooded out, lives lost. Record breaking snowfalls, tornadoes, hurricanes... look at the cost of weather manipulation.

Think that's crazy? I'm not alone in my thoughts. Some say, "here's proof."

Solid Proof That Weather Modification Projects Are Being Conducted All Over The United States

(Endoftheamericandream.com) Most Americans still believe that our weather patterns are 100% natural and that our government has absolutely no control over the weather. Unfortunately, that is not the case at all. What you are about to read is evidence that weather modification is happening right now all over the United States. This is never acknowledged by our politicians and it is never talked about by the mainstream media. But it is very, very real. Weather modification programs in some parts of the country have been going on for many years and evidence of these programs is hidden in plain view. So does this mean that if we don't like the weather we can just blame the government? Well, yes it does, but it also means that the government has been seriously messing around with our environment and there could be "unintended consequences" that are far more dramatic than any of us ever dared to imagine.

Those that believed that the government was involved in weather modification were once considered to be "kooks", but the truth is that authorities aren't even trying to hide it anymore. For example, the following was recently posted in the "Legal Notices" section of the classified ads in a local newspaper called The Tribune in San Luis Obispo, California....

NOTICE OF INTENTION WEATHER MODIFICATION PROGRAM THE SANTA BARBARA COUNTY WATER AGENCY HEREBY GIVES NOTICE OF INTENTION TO CONDUCT A WEATHER MODIFICATION PROGRAM NATURE AND PURPOSE: The purpose of the project is to increase rainfall to help alleviate deficiencies of water supplies in Santa Barbara County. Clouds would be seeded by the dispersal of Silver Iodide (AgI). Two possible modes of seeding, air based and ground based, would be used. LOCATION OF PURPOSE: Project operations could be conducted during the period between November 15 and April 15, for each year, 2011-2012 through 2015-2016. Airborne seeding operations would utilize air space over Santa Barbara County, portions of San Luis Obispo County as well as the Pacific Ocean immediately west of Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo Counties. Ground based seeding operations would be conducted from the Santa Ynez Mountains, the Casmalia Hills and the San Rafael Mountains. The target areas for seeding operations are the watersheds behind Cachuma and Gibraltar reservoirs on the Santa Ynez River as well as Twitchell reservoir on the Cuyama River. LICENSEE: The project would be operated and supervised by a licensed weather modification consultant.

Can it get much clearer than that?
The Santa Barbara County water agency is telling the world that it plans to conduct a weather modification program and it is explaining exactly how it will be done.
If you are thinking that this is something new, you might want to guess again.
Weather modification projects have been conducted down in Texas for years.
The following comes from the website of the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation....

Currently, cloud-seeding projects designed to increase rainfall from convective cloud towers are conducted in nearly 31 million acres of Texas (or almost one-fifth of the state’s land area). In administering the Texas Weather Modification Act (enacted by the Texas Legislature in 1967), TDLR’s weather modification program issues licenses and permits for these projects, many of which have been in existence since 2000. The projects use specialized aircraft and sophisticated weather radar systems, operated by skilled meteorologists, at sites near Amarillo, Plains, Pecos, San Angelo, and Pleasanton.

Anyone still want to be a skeptic after reading that?
According to the Texas state government, these weather modification projects have been going on down in Texas since the year 2000.
So if you live in Texas and you don't like the weather, just blame Rick Perry.
But weather modification projects are not just happening in the United States. The truth is that they are going on all over the globe.
An article from the Guardian a couple of years ago talked about the mammoth weather modification projects that have been happening in China....

The Chinese air force claimed today that the biggest weather modification operation in the country's history cleared the skies over Tiananmen Square just in time for the National Day parade.
I write this post under gorgeously azure skies. Instead of the dull haze I have grown used to in Beijing over the past few years, the light is so sharp that it almost hurts my eyes.
The transformation is so dramatic it is eerie. When I flew into Beijing yesterday, the city was shrouded in what looked like a thick smog.

An article posted on arabianbusiness.com talked about the extraordinary weather modification projects that have been sponsored by the Abu Dhabi government....

Scientists working for the Abu Dhabi government created more than 50 rainstorms in Al Ain in July and August of 2010, during the peak of the emirate’s summer months.
The rains are part of a secret $11m project, reportedly commissioned by HH Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, which used ionisers to generate storms, the UK’s Sunday Times said.
It is thought to be the first time the team had produced man-made rain from otherwise clear skies.
According to the report, scientists used large ionisers, which resemble lampshades, to generate fields of negatively charged particles. That in turn creates cloud formation, leading to rain.
Over 122 days through the summer months, the emitters were switched on 74 times when atmospheric humidity reached the required level of 30 percent or more.
During that time, Al AIn experienced rainfall on 52 occasions on days when the country’s own weather service had predicted no clouds and no rain.

Two Men Fishing In Michigan Have Alien Sighting

On the evening of August 31, 2011, while fishing at a lake (Gun Lake perhaps?) near Orangeville, Michigan, two men observed what appeared to be a tall, grey alien.

My friend and i were fishing on a local lake. We had been there since 3pm, at 745pm my friend casted out tward shore. I was casting about 30 yards to the right of him. I saw him twitch in the corner of my eye. He quietly said as he was staring tward shore "There's and alien over there" He immediately repeat "there's an alien over there" this time very loudly and began yelling at me to look. As this was happening I heard branches and sticks breaking just behind a few bushes at the edge of shore. I watched the woods in the direction that the sound was moving toward. The noises stopped and maybe ten to fifteen seconds later I saw what appeared to be a person with extremly long arms down to where i saw it's knees bending. A very large head, rounded at the top with a very pronounced chin. It was very skinny, skinny enough that if it was a person they were starving. There was no clothing visible, the legs and arms were also very skinny and no reproductive organs were visible. The way it walked reminded me of the old film of bigfoot almost perfectly. We started leaving the area. There is a small wooded peninsula directly adjacent to the direction that it had walked. as we passed it I was watching the woods closely and saw what appeared to be a face. Rounded at the top and with a pronounced chin it turned to follow our movement passed. It had large oval black eyes with a small mouth, grey skinned, and there was a notable crease running down its forehead. I couldn't see any nose of any kind. once we had passed We did not see it again.
